Fantastic experience: I've trained at many large 'industrial' gyms, this for a franchise is one of the best by far. The front desk girls are extremely friendly and welcoming, so highly recommend. Speacial note: Eve one of the front desk girls, thank you for all your help, your a legend!

Fantastic experience: Great gym community, people actually stop to say hello or chat - compared to other gyms I go to. Staff are always nice especially when they are familiar with you, very clean facilities, bathrooms/floors/equipment etc, and this gym has a large variety of equipment and different variations of the same equipment. So you're not waiting around for one machine. You can get the same workout on a different machine. I do enjoy the space, you're not cramped next to each other like sardines in a tin can when working out. Although I live relatively local, there are x3 other AF gyms within driving distance from me, but I choose to travel here daily based on these reasons.

Positive experience: Large club with plenty of equipment but they are not the best or newest ones compared to some others nearby. I suggest the owners replace chipped plates and clean dirty ones.

Positive experience: Fantastic renovation in a fantastic community. Large club with great facilities and equipment. Only concern that I have is with hygiene; Every morning the facility is cleaned by a contractor yet hand sanitisers are not replenished? With such a large portfolio of clubs, you’d expect this to be covered especially if the owner drives a 911 worth $200k+. It’s the small things that count especially in a public facility where so much is stressed upon hygiene and cleanliness. This is the first branch that I’ve been to where there was no hand sanitiser ready on the shelf.

Negative experience: New to Sydney as on holiday Searched for local club Went to workout and come to find put they are closed for renovations How ever the Google listing states open for business Rang to explain and let staff kno1 pf thr mix up and she was very rude and had poor understanding Thanks for the $20 uber fee I'll never get back Very very disappointing

Negative experience: Stop putting your ad stickers in others car whilst the car is parked. You put them on the windscreen of my car whilst parked on the station parking and is now glued to my windscreen, who is going to pay for the damage caused? Are you going to pay for it?

Fantastic experience: Great staff and clean gym, been there over two years and I enjoy my workout every time.

Positive experience: A great gym environment with kind staff and members. A wide range of equipment, accessible bathrooms with an addition toiletries and a vending machine available.

Positive experience: Love the gym but staff should be mindful of members and avoid training in peak hours. Many times staff members hog machines while talking to others.

Positive experience: AF Minto is spacious clean and has friendly staff to assist if required. Wide selection of exercise equipment allows patrons to use any at any time without having to wait.

Positive experience: The gym staff are very helpful and friendly. The equipment is spaced out reasonably and I’ve always had a good workout when I attend.

Negative experience: Apparently charged me for my week even though i cancelled. and told me over the email stating that dont expect replies from their end anymore. All i am saying is they delayed to cancel my membership. And i still get charged for the week ahead. i understand paying the 50% of the remaining contract fees as that is part of the contract. But cancelling late and charging me for another week? just be careful with their contract. you dont want to get caught in this situations for yourself. Only reason why they have such high star, is because they bribe members saying you can get 2 weeks or 4 weeks free if you give us good review. That is the case who wouldnt want free 2 week membership? Please DO NOT GET Fooled

Positive experience: Great facility - the gym is quite clean and spacious, and there is enough equipment to share so you’re not waiting too long . The equipment is also regularly updated from what it looks like; no machine is out of order for too long and the equipment seems to be up to date. Friendly staff and very helpful PTs. Showers and amenities are also clean. Can get busy around peak hours but generally quite empty in off-periods which makes it a great place to train.

Fantastic experience: Awesome, nice sized gym gets crowded at the usual times after school and early mornings. Lots of equipment to share. Free weights, bags, walkers, strainers. Its probably best to train in the middle of the day of or late at night, you'll figure it out. Clean restrooms and amenities. Staff do their jobs with a smile.

Fantastic experience: Decent gym with decent equipment. Starting to get pretty chokkas during peak hours however thats standard at most gyms. Staff are friendly & do a good job promoting the gym. Music is complete rubbish unless you put your own tracks on.

Positive experience: In general a nice spacious gym however I can suggest an improvement given the recent COVID pandemic. The paper towels and spray bottles unfortunately do not provide an adequate amount of cleanliness- I often see members spraying the towel with the solution and the solution is mostly absorbed by the paper towel in effect not providing any cleansing action. Ideally directly spraying equipment would be effective but this is not done by everyone given the small amount of spray bottles. From a healthcare workers view, this is worrying. An introduction of wet wipes would be nice to see. There are biodegradable options out there.

Negative experience: Gym is good the manager (thhe girl ) there is a joke!!! She shouldn’t be managing such place.! My partner forgot his towel and got kicked out of the gym although she trains without one!! He’s canceling his membership and i joined in before lockdown and going to cancel mine too!

Fantastic experience: Anytime fitness minto is an amazing gym! Wouldn’t go anywhere else especially due to its high hygiene standards. Shout out to Yen for always doing rounds to clean after everyone!

Negative experience: Great space with good equipment........ but staff is a joke that don't clean. There was a pice of gum in a cup holder for 3 weeks and they take there members for granted.

Negative experience: ATTENTION: THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC IS A VALID REASON TO CANCEL YOUR CONTRACT WITH NO FEES. Requested cancellation of my contract months ago as well as assistance with receiving a refund for an unauthorised charge during lockdown. Despite multiple follow up emails during this time, I was met with no response for over 3 months. When I finally did get a response I was met with the following snide remark: “If you were unaware of the situation in NSW, we were in lockdown and therefore we were not operating.” Needless to say I am well aware of the situation - however a lockdown does not prevent a business from receiving and replying to emails and neither does it absolve a company of their responsibility to respond to paying customers within a reasonable timeframe. Every other company I spoke with during the lockdown, all of which were directly impacted just the same as Anytime replied to all communications without hassle or delay. Secondly I was met with the following false assertion that I was still under contract: “Regardless of time frame and when you emailed, you are still under contract and are required to pay out 50% if you wish to cancel.” Fortunately I was able to beat them at their own game and find the clause which allowed me to rightly leave the contract without paying any cancellation fees under clause 20.1: Unexpected events - “We are not responsible if Members cannot use our Club because of an event caused by a natural force (such as a fire or a flood) or a road or building closure or something similar beyond our reasonable control. If this continues for more than 30 days, then either you or we may cancel this Agreement immediately by written notice. No Fee will apply.” It is disappointing however that the onus was left on me to prove to them my rights of cancellation and if they had it their way I would have been wrongfully left out of pocket by hundreds of dollars. If they had even just been a little more polite and understanding about my situation (I had explained to them that I am currently out of work and not in a financial position to pay any exit fees) I may not have left this review, but with their snarky indifference on top of the fact they wrongly tried to rob me of a significant amount of money I have felt compelled to leave this review as a future warning to others about signing up for contracts with Anytime Fitness.

Negative experience: I was a member of anytime fitness for over 4 years, I think about 2 years at this one. Big gym with great equipment that isn't enough to keep their members as a result of their poor staff, Nora in particular. I attempted to cancel my membership which wasn't allowed and offered a free month at the gym which I had not been to in 6 months already and I declined but was forced to take it and then to freeze my membership of 3 months in case I "decided to come back" after already signing at a new gym. Initially I was okay with it as Nora advised me she would get in contact with me before continuing payments on my behalf and she did not get my approval but started charging my card again and I then realized the freeze for 3 months was to get me out of there and hope that I'd forget or get over fighting to cancel my membership whilst being charged. I got an email 6 months later from a third party threatening legal action if I delayed anymore payments and advised them of Nora's unprofessional approach to this situation. Nora called me and confronted me about calling her unprofessional and started a big argument where after 30 minutes decided to terminate my membership and waive the fee she kept charging my account for a YEAR after I stopped going and asked to cancel. I dropped the situation but am now inclined to write this review as this was early May, 2021 where it was officially terminated but am now threatened again with legal action even after waiving and terminating my membership as they are probably shy on their income. I have 3 other friends who led me to 3 of their friends/partners who have all had the same situation with Nora, 2 of which were moving overseas to New Zealand and Japan for footy who were pushed to keep their membership in case "they move back" and the other 3 friends who wish to remain anonymous but are willing to tell their experience if necessary as they don't like Noras confrontational/bullyish approach in this regard. There was a literal video on youtube from a former member Effat, about this anytime fitness minto and Nora in particular regarding their unprofessional behaviour and sad attempts of taking your money with over 60 comments majority having similar experiences.

Positive experience: Great location, plenty of equipment and room to do your workouts. One of the biggest Anytime Fitness in the West.

Negative experience: From the second I walked in I was questioned about my swipe, then when the slow computer registered it, I was brushed off like I was in the wrong. I didn't see one person wipe down the equipment after using it. Alot of observing eyes n not a single smile Not sure how it gets 4 stars

Positive experience: I love the new layout but there is still no lighting in the car park at night. The other thing that got me was they no longer provide wipes for the equipment and you are forced to use a spray and wipe solution but literally no one used it the whole time I was there! At the other AF they have disposable wipes that everyone uses.

Fantastic experience: Definitely is one of the largest Anytime Fitness's in the area. The staff are friendly and always welcome you with a smile. The gym is kept clean and you can always see staff walking around and putting the weights back. They definitely are staying COVID safe with Covid marshalls working till late, and hygiene stations located everywhere at the gym. The amount of equipment they have is in sane, some of which you wouldn't have seen at any other gyms in the area. The cardio section is perfectly secluded and generously sized. It can get very busy if you go in the peak hour, but that only speaks volumes about how well-loved the gym is. Jules is my favourite! I definitely recommend that you check it out!

Fantastic experience: If not the best gym I have been to would rank up there top 2 gyms in Sydney. From the staff being so friendly to the atmosphere you get weather your lifting weights or doing cardio. It has it all. I travel daily to this gym for many reason. Would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to join a family club

Fantastic experience: Friendliest gym staff ever, they treat everyone like family. I have never come across service like this!! And also the best AF facility I have ever been to, huge space, so much equipment, well kept, TIDY, and the staff are on top of maintenance all the time.

Fantastic experience: One of the best AF venues around. Area for callisthenics, plenty of squat racks, decent area for other free weights and bench, machine area and covers basically all muscle groups (even a hip thrust machine). The only downside is that it can get quite busy at peak times, so try to get yourself in before or after that happens.

Negative experience: Absolutely disappointed in the fact they started to cut cost and save money on hygiene in this covid times while keeping the same monthly prices and not able to train 24/7. They removed 2-3 stations of wipes and using spray only where 100+ people daily are touching those sprays and just with that spreading germs, needs more bins around the place, not making you walk two trips across the gym, making you be in the way of other people, especially busy periods. The hand sanitiser at the front entrance is most of the times disgraceful with all the stains of leftover sanitiser, what are these "covid Marshalls" doing??! most of the times they are just sitting down, this is not what a covid Marshalls job is by governments requirements? And last but not least insure that machines are 1,5 meters of each other like some of them are NOT. Hope this is a wake up call and things are going to improve like it was on the opening and I've been a long time gym user even when it was at Minto marketplace.

Fantastic experience: Such an amazing gym. Easily the biggest anytime fitness venue I have been too, with the greatest vary of equipment and multiple squat racks to avoid those annoying waits. The staff are such wonderful people, from being friendly to being professional, and all that is inbetween. I have recommended anytime fitness Minto to many friends, whom also have had nothing but positive feedback. Two thumbs up!

Negative experience: I loved Anytime, but when cancelled my membership the gym and stuff took personal. They cancelled my friends and brother membership as he took me once in. After 5 years they started treating me as stranger as if they dont know and bullied both of my feiends by calling her Bf on site for disrespecting us. The amounts humiliation and dis respect un bearable. We are humans and deserve to be treated fairly. Being discriminating and racist doesnr suit them. Just a pieace of craps in management position cocky and egoistic. So disappointed :(

Fantastic experience: The largest anytime fitness I’ve ever been. More room for cardio. It’s easy to get your workout done in time since you don’t have to wait for others to finish. There are lots of equipment you can use as alternate if u like.
