Anytime Fitness Beenleigh

Negative experience: Misleading the information, poor customer service, staff from hell creating uncomfortable environment. Do not recommend this place.

Negative experience: I went here on 21st of august to get a tour of the gym that I had a appointment for which I was early but Brett said it's ok and showed me around Then Casey yelled from the desk can you do some work I'm busy over here she was very rude manager and unprofessional on that manner that was between 430pm and 5pm Decided to join cause of my partner wanted me to when signing up she said select 18 month contract and I'll change it to 12 months at the 18 month price didn't do that had to come in on 22 august around 4:30 to get her to change it to 12 months. Got to watch out for that when signing up. Also my fob was not activated when signing up On the 17th September at 4:57am I entered the gym with partner they scanned first while I was finding my fob so the door was already opened before it closed I scanned mine in Later on at 3:58pm I get a text saying | let in non members when I didn't at all. At 4:16pm I visit the gym to talk to Casey asked why I got this message she said I didn't scan my fob when I did she says she watched the camera and I eventually did so I did fob in so why would I get a message giving me a warning for letting non members in when there was NOT a non member. She said I wouldn't get a fine but later she said I would get one if it happened in the next month Casey said that I have to close the door when signing in. As I was telling I didn't let anyone in she had a tantrum turned her back at me then sat at her desk trying to ignore me when I was trying to sort it out. I said maybe a better message to be sent to members or a sign on the door to state when 2 people walking in close the door each time when scanning in. Never had this at any other gyms I was a member of. And I'm in your database as a member If you would like more info on the rest of the situation I can make a full letter.

Negative experience: Misleading information to new customer like me and created unfair terms to new customer. I am about to report to ACCC due to code of conduct and misleading information to naïve people. Use my pictures for public relations without my knowledge. I don’t recommend this place. Poor customer service.

Fantastic experience: Super welcoming staff, special shout out to gym manager Casey who is always lovely and super helpful. The brand new renovation is beautiful, the new open layout is amazing and so inviting. 100% recommend anytime fitness beenleigh

Fantastic experience: I have never been to gym anytime before i came to Australia. But now, this Gym has turned out to be my favourite place. Thanks to my husband who brought me here. Anytime fitness is really amazing with top equipments and great environment. The staffs are very friendly. The new look of the gym is excellent which comes with very spacious areas, super clean environment , top quality equipments and secure locker systems. Having access to gym anytime anywhere is one of the best things that comes with Anytime fitness. I love being at the gym because the workouts and the time i spent there did really help me in maintaining health and relieving stress. Best wishes to the entire team. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Anytime Fitness Beenleigh is legit the best Anytime I have ever been to. The members are respectful and never get in the way or hog the equipment. They are aware of their surroundings and are respectful to other members. The gym has an overall feel good vibe and Casey is a top Manager! It's exciting to see its makeover but it honestly didn't need one. It was great the way it was .

Negative experience: Worst gym franchise of them all. Incredibly dodgy contracts where they will lie to your face about things like cancelling for you but never do it. Then your contract will roll over and you are expected to pay an exorbitant fee to cancel a fresh contract. Scummy places like this deserve to be reported to the ACCC. If a gym service asks you to sign a contract then it's a dodgy gym. Don't go there. You're better off buying your own equipment and setting up your own home gym than going here.

Fantastic experience: Been a member of Anytime Fitness Beenleigh for the last 8 months and have found this gym to have all the equipment that I need to achieve my goals, the gym is always clean and tidy. Shout out to the amazing staff!

Negative experience: Anytime Fitness Beenleigh has gone significantly downhill since the new ownership took over. The old staff were well loved by the members, genuinely cared about clients and valued us as more than just our wallets. Since new ownership took over the price has been hiked significantly, the upper management makes an effort to call and bully people out of bad reviews & the facility is no longer cared for. I am most disappointed to hear that the older staff have been fired or forced to move on because of the corporate greed that runs through management. Other than the poor management, there are holes in the wall, constant water leaks, consistent power outages that prevent access to the gym and broken equipment. Members who post on alternate accounts (such as this) have their poor reviews deleted, but also get penalised for honest reviews if they aren’t 5 stars.

Fantastic experience: Casey is the most welcoming staff member. The gym is beautifully clean and the equipment is very well maintained. Keep up the great work Casey and AF Beenleigh Staff

Negative experience: I have a membership at another gym and was looking to move so visited here, however staff was rude. The staff member who dealt with me was Casey and I am very underwhelmed with her service. The gym was also unclean and had holes in the wall. Will not be moving here. Thanks.

Negative experience: 1 year's before when I joined anytime fitness Beenleigh it's good place for exercise even atleast there is cleaning wipes but within the time they changed their policies now reusable rags you can't find on Sunday, second there is congested space and excessive membership not enough space for exercise. Once you sign contract you can't leave even you move to other city, and overseas, if you try to do that you will get email that we will forward your case to e collect.

Negative experience: This gym is a scam I cancel my gym membership at the middle of last year and they keep on charging my account. Once I confronted them they ware telling me to pay more money so they can cancel the membership. If you don’t want to get scam then don’t join.

Fantastic experience: The Beenleigh centre has been great for the short time I've been going. A large range of machines, racks, and bars for pretty much everything. The freeweights area is a little tight on space(comparing to Cleveland) but doesn't take away from what's on offer.

Fantastic experience: Same applies as in my previous review a year or so ago. The manager (Luke) is awesome, the gym is reasonably new, spacious, and has most machines that I normally use (and more than in other gyms). The location is great, close to motorway and there is undercover parking available under the building (same as for Coles pick-up, so park on the other side).

The manager Luke is always super welcoming, checks in on you and makes you feel like you belong there (as does the rest of the team). The people here actually make you feel like you belong and that you are not being judged whilst working on your own goals, in comparison to some of the other bigger gyms and there is plenty of good equipment to share. The gym is clean and there is plenty of space. Compared to other AF gyms that I have been too, AF Beenleigh remains the best and makes me want to keep coming back, even if I have to travel to get there! Thanks for being the best! - Helene

Negative experience: Gym is only OK. They do have some good equipment. Problem is that it is sometimes overcrowded so you will have to frequently wait to use a bench or machine. Another massive detriment is the smell. They have carpet in here and it reeks of old sweat. I have witnessed cleaners here but it seems to make no difference and needs to be removed. The cardio area and group fitness room in particular smell like a mosh pit in the rain on the last day of a music festival. The bathrooms are kept quite clean but facilities are basic. Staff are friendly so no fault there but overall I can't recommend it.

Fantastic experience: I visited a number of gyms in the area when I was searching for a new gym after my previous one closed. From the moment I walked in the door, I felt welcomed. Luke was so friendly and listened to what I was looking for in a gym. This was the only gym I visited that made me feel so welcomed and listened to and this hasn’t changed even after I joined. The facilities are always clean, the equipment is very well maintained and I love you can choose the music that is played. If you are looking for a gym with a great community feel and great equipment, I can highly recommend you check it out.

Fantastic experience: I've been an Anytime Fitness member at another location for over 2 years now and AF Beenleigh is hands-down the best I've visited. A friend and I went there only because it was halfway between where we would both be this morning. I had already planned our leg workout not expecting there to be such a huge range of equipment including machines and accessories that made it obvious that a real gym lover designed the layout and machine selection. There were so many different cable attachments, a sled, heavy barbell raise and enough plates that at least 4 people could be powerlifting at any one time. Very clean and brand new machines. We will definitely be back.

Fantastic experience: I've been a member of Anytime Fitness since 2017 and the Beenligh branch is my favorite. A great space with an optimal layout for everyone's fitness needs. In-between large gyms like Anytime in Kallangur and smaller ones in Toombul, this gym finds a wonderful balance.
