Fantastic experience: My daughter attends the clarkson club since October this year. She has grown immensely in confidence, skills and knowledge. All the trainers are so approachable for any inquiries or questions and go far above in kindness and assistance to all the students in the classes and offer extra assistance classes. We are extremely happy with this chosen sport club .

Negative experience: Attended 5 classes was told not to hit the pads too hard, as it might hurt the other students hands. This is not a class for males who want to get fit. It is a class for older women.

Fantastic experience: I'm delighted with my choice of this center for my boys. The staff is incredibly supportive, and my boys adore it. The instructors are passionate about their work, evident in how they interact with the kids. They're also accommodating when we need adjustments. The bonus of free extra sessions in December and January is fantastic. If necessary, they even offer free private sessions to boost the kids' confidence, which is truly remarkable. Recently, they also organized complimentary Pilates sessions for parents, which was absolutely fantastic. Premier provides everything I need.

Fantastic experience: The staff at Premier Martial Arts have the patience of saints… My son (who has developmental delay) is not the easiest of kids- he struggles to pay attention, struggles to comprehend and interpret basic instructions, struggles to then transfer instruction into application, is high in energy and has a tendency to disrupt his peers. He has now completed 3 sessions and I can honestly say that while I found the sessions difficult to watch (as it really highlighted the developmental gap between himself and the other students), the experienced instructors observed his needs and managed to keep him engaged in each lesson, preventing the typical disruption that would ensue on his peers. If you are looking for a patient, compassionate, experienced, professional, empathetic and skilled team that is willing able to work with students of all ages, experience levels & needs… PREMIER is the team for you.

Fantastic experience: We have been taking both of our kids (7yrs + 8yrs) here for 4 years now. I can not recommend the staff and program they run here highly enough! It has helped both my kids with their confidence, concentration at school and physical health.

Two full hours of very well organised activities, games and a giant inflatable, with lots of amazing fun, discipline and good teachings!!!! My daughter and her friends had the most AMAZING time and they will cherish this memory forever! Everything was PERFECT! All parents were really really happy to see their kids on the floor with the instructors, having so much fun and enjoying it so much! My daughter is still asking me when we can do it again!!! Fantastic experience: When we moved over from the U.K. in 2011, I was looking for a sports club that my kids could join and that would suit them both. I had done karate when I was younger and when I saw the Premier Martial Arts Academy flyer at their school, my husband and I decided to sign them up. They immediately loved it. It was great for my son who needed some extra discipline as the instructors were always willing to support me by reinforcing expectations, and they also helped my daughter to gain confidence as well as self-defence skills. My husband works FIFO so Premier became like our extended family and provided the extra support that we needed, particularly when my husband was away. It wasn’t long before my husband and I decided to start training too and signed ourselves up. Premier Academy are family-focussed and welcomed us, so within months our family were training several times per week. Martial Arts makes me feel fabulous and I know that I’m stronger and healthier as a result. The facilities are great and for those who prefer to watch, there’s a waiting area with viewing screens and a coffee machine. Premier Academy isn’t just a club, it is part of our life. We think of it as a healthy lifestyle choice and recommend it to all our friends and loved ones. I am so grateful to Premier Academy for always being there and supporting our whole family for the past 11 years. Fantastic experience: I joined Premier Academy with my brother when we were 8 years old. I was shy at the time, so being able to train alongside my brother boosted my confidence. The instructors encouraged and supported us. Whenever anyone needs extra help Premier provides it. They made learning fun and I loved the parties at Christmas and themed sessions like Halloween. Some of my closest friendships were formed at Premier. It is a safe environment where everyone is welcomed and catered for. I have always trained a few times a week and chose to participate in competitions. I felt proud to be part of Premier and because they train us in a full range of mixed martial arts, we were successful when we competed. They celebrate every individual’s achievement at whatever level they’re at. I was so proud when I achieved my Black Belt.

Fantastic experience: My Son has been doing the teen classes for over 2 years now. Lacking self confidence in his abilities at times during the 1st year to the point of nearly giving up, the support and encouragement he has received from his instructors has been amazing. He now is fully enthused and glad he stayed the course. This is something he feels proud to be part of now and never regrets a training session. Navigating through adolescence is tricky at times, but having positive role models to look upto while improving his own physical skills has proved invaluable for him. Thank you Premier! Fantastic experience: My wife and i started attending the Adults Freestyle Martial Arts classes roughly 8 months ago i think. We’ve been attending twice a week and haven’t looked back. The instructors are fantastic, extremely knowledgeable, but most importantly they are patient and great people! The sensei's are professional when dealing with a diverse range from young kids to adults they make it fun and also engage with the whole family throughout. A staff member approached us to offer make up one on one sessions. I am very impressed with growth of my child in learning new skills every day. Fantastic experience: Our son Carter started off in Little Champions when he was 3yo learning all the fun moves you’d expect in martial arts training. He is now close to 7yo and has just joined the competition training and is learning what moves counteract the moves he has learnt over the past few years. It’s really cool seeing this progression and his confidence grow. The other day I asked him if he was intimidated training with the bigger kids and adults and he said ‘No, I’m proud of myself being the littlest in there.’ We’ve had friends start off at other places and end up here for the professionalism and atmosphere. We also held his 5th birthday party there and kids still remember Carters ‘Karate Party’ years later.

Negative experience: Unfriendly. Think their Cobrai kai. Tried here after some TKD at my current school. Was told to keep my guard up by head instrcutor, Moroccan guy. Raised it and took advice. But he jabbed me in the eye (on purpose) whence demonstrating the importance of guarding. Cornered me after the lesson to join-up whence getting in my car.

Fantastic experience: Best martial academy in WA!!! My kids have been in this academy for over 7 years and are still enjoying their training. The training not only improves their physical health but also their psychological and mental health. Kids did need a little encouragement in the 1st couple of years when they were at lower belt levels. As they grow older, they are willing to do training every day and enjoy every time they are there. I would 110% recommend this academy.

Fantastic experience: My daughter is only 3 and my step daughter 10 and both struggle with confidence and communication. I can’t thank Clarkson MMA enough, they are so good with the kids and such good value for money. You feel like your part of something big. The kids have more confidence, at home behaviours have improved and they look forward to each class. The confidence is how they talk and there confidence has improved and I couldn’t be more proud. Negative experience: *** update: to this day they have never contacted me to ask how my child is. I was threatened with legal action, regarding this review***Beware of their contracts and extra charges. Look out if you get injured. They don't genuinely care. They will still continue to take payments no matter what reason you have. Pressured me into buying equipment that wasn't ever used. My child received a permanent, severe injury after 10 weeks and they offered me an extra 2 weeks (after paying for a full 12 months?)They didn't acknowledge the injury at all. Premier only called me when they wanted to know if my, now permanently disabled child, wanted to continue ( after advising them my child would never be able to participate in Martial Arts) continuing trying to sign me up in all of the correspondence, however nothing was mentioned regarding my childs Injury. No compassion, no understanding. They were just asking for more money and a signature right then and there " with great prices if you sign today"

Fantastic experience: These guys know how to run a business. It might be a bit lore expensive if you’re price shopping, but you will be wowed when you see how great they’re with the kids. They also have a few trainers with a bigger group so kids aren’t waiting around for their turn most of the time. Ella normally grows tired of things after the third time because of the waiting around. They make it fun.

You instantly feel like "one of the family". There is such a nice feel about the place and the instructors are amazing with the kids. Charlie now wants to go every day and is desperate to achieve his black belt. Coming to Premier has given him something to work towards. The classes are well thought out and offer something different every time, and the respect, discipline and motivation that is taught is excellent for developing minds!! Positive experience: Our grandson is a very typical couch potato and at the age of 10 he had never participated in any sport. He was extremely unfit and his build clearly showed his lack of exercise. After 12 months of pleading with him to participate in any exercise of his choice, he begrudgingly chose Premier. He isn't the star of the classes but he attends regularly, enjoys the classes and participates fully and well in the training. Many of the trainers are young men who have a wonderful way with the younger generations. He has been training for nearly 2 yrs, qualified for each and every grading and he looks great. He is more confident and more outgoing. Premier has done a lot more for him than help him get fit and start losing weight.

Fantastic experience: Premier martail arts is very professional with a very friendly family feel to the place all the instructors always friendly happy always chatting to the kids from mother with babies on there laps to older kids. The staff never walk passed with out making sure you are been looked after. Value for money is great you can go once a week to 7 days week all for the same price hour lessons.

Fantastic experience: I enrolled my daughter for the school holiday programme at Premiere. I was a little hesitant as she is quite petite and can be a little nervous at anything that is not about glitter and fairies. However, as soon as she sat down, any concerns went out of the window. I am a teacher and I have never been so impressed with the management and structure of a holiday programme. The teachers were amazing with their care of the students, balancing rigour and expectations with humour. I was shocked to see my daughter volunteering to demonstrate in front of a large group on the very first day (she is quite shy by nature). Teachers knew the students names and were patient and caring. She had a massive smile on her face from the very first day through to the last. I enrolled her to continue with Martial Arts at Premier before the programme even ended, I am confident that this is the best choice for her and that she will flourish under this school.

Fantastic experience: My kids absolutely love going here. It has given them some much needed confidence and an outlet for their pent up energy. The staff are amazing and have a lot of patience, my youngest is very easily distracted and very hyper but the staff manage to get him to focus and actually participate in classes. I can not fault the staff here at all :)

Fantastic experience: If you want your child be fit and self disciplined it is your place. Just be aware it’s not a quick win, if you willing to start the path of martial art - it’s a long term commitment. The attitude of the place is not to convert you or your child into killing machine, but to raise the awareness of key values, respect and self consciousness ( true values of martial arts). I personally love the place, besides the feeling that you are among your family and friends, you got a highly skilled professionals honing your skills. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: We have tried a few other clubs to try and find one that could work with our son with DS. We have sadly discovered that many don't have the experience or patience in working with Kids that have a intellectual disability. On first arrival at PMA, the staff took the time to sit with our son and engage with him through one on one conversation & training intro session. Our son is now going into his second year with PMA, and just like the first day their approach has never change. They seems to take the time even in a group setting to help and assist the individual when needed, they are always pleasant, happy & professional and always says hello to my son every time they meet him ( even if they see him at the shops) I congratulate the owner & The staff at PMA on developing & maintaining a great professional friendly, & family ethos at this club. Fantastic experience: Premier Martials Arts is a great environment for kids to learn. What they teach is not just a hobby but life skills. They motivate and encourage kids of all levels and abilities. They give extra help for those that need it. My son has ADHD and Autism and has a special relationship with some of the instructors who give him extra attention on his bad days. A great environment for kids to learn and grow into very respectful teens and young adults.

Fantastic experience: I have been training at this place for the very start (10 years ago), i have always extremely enjoyed it, always been excepted and been a proud member of their family, trained hard and push to the best person i can be, no where better then this place, all instructors have years of training and all have a very high standard of training and always make the lessons a safe environment. Business motto is fantastic, with free and reasonably feed events that happen all through out the year, which all ages can have fun and be safe. Tournaments and extra classes are always available to who ever wont it. Plus a wide range of classes for anyone's tastes. Building is fantastic with lots of training gear. You can go anytime you during the week and have a reasonable and convent times of training at anytime. Fees are reasonable for everything. But one thing is for sure this place is amazing and a great place to seen you kids or just for you too have some fun, you wont regret it, and you'll learn lots. Hope you have fun with Premier.

Fantastic experience: Premier is a fabulous establishment in all aspects. Their facilities are great, their trainers are amazing, they are very involved in events and always organising fun things and their training is top notch. They also offer private lessons and emotional support if needed (i.e. when your children don't feel like attending training, or in our case when they were bullied at school and the most amazing support was given) - and all fully inclusive in the membership fees. I highly recommend them!

She is also part of the sport taekwondo and kickboxing competion teams and the leadership team, she loves this club, its like her second family, the instructors are all great, helpful & supportive and I cant Imagine her going any where else.

Fantastic experience: My son Joe has been enjoying his trainings at Premier Martial Arts. He also attends Premier's extra-curricular classes on Saturday mornings, which mainly focus on sparring. He has progressed onto his fifth belt in a year and half, and is proud of this achievement. Joe has definitely grown physically stronger and more confident since he started his martial art classes.

Fantastic experience: Our son Quinn 5, has been attending since the July school holidays, 3years ago. At first we were unsure to Quinn’s commitment being 5 and being told what to do by strangers. But like school he is enjoying his training, his teachers and making new friends. He likes to practice with his older brother and teaches us the Sayings and moves. In his training class he is focused and listens and we see how proud he is when achieving his punches and kicks and face blocking and covering (says Quinn) He has high expectations of himself and can get upset if he doesn’t get it right but the encouragement and positive affirmations from his teachers puts him back into the best mood and attitude.
