Ego is left at the door at ELEV8, I have enjoyed training freestyle wrestling at the gym and look forward to a long stay.

Coming from a few gyms and some crossfit training in the past, I wanted a gym where I could improve my skills in Olympic lifting and gymnastics. Elev8 was the perfect place for me! Dan, the coach, is an awesome bloke; down to earth, very knowledgeable in crossfit and bjj and understands the human body. Not only is he a great and passionate teacher, he recognises when your body is injured and gives you appropriate exercises to return you back to a healthy you! I love the people that I train with, not only an awesome and encouraging bunch of people but we certainly know how to get our sweat on, have a good laugh and banter to boost the morale and camaraderie amongst us (especially during those cold mornings!) Value for money? Absolutely no brainer! Competitive prices and no lock in contracts! Couldn't ask for anything better and simpler. I highly recommend Elev8! I find that the coaches do push me to get the best they can out of me, but they also do realise if the expectations are to high for my ability and adjust workouts to suit what I’m capable of. Everyone is very down to earth, staff and clients and everyone is also very encouraging and supportive. I would recommend doing CrossFit at Elev8 if you’re thinking of joining a Gym!

Fantastic experience: I worked with Nicole last year for about 3 months last year in her role as a nutritional coach. I was interested in learning more about how to fuel my body for overall health and improved running performance. While lockdown made it difficult to address specific goals, I did enjoy looking more closely at my food choices and making sustainable changes to my diet. I started to explore the need for better fueling with exercise and I hope to expand on this as running events return in 2021. Nicole made herself very available and gave excellent, realistic feedback each week. Highly recommend Nicole if you are looking for accurate, targeted nutritional advice.

Fantastic experience: Everyone starts off a whitebelt, so this is part of the reason why everyone is so considerate and accommodating to those who are new. Whenever I make my way to class I always get nervous, but once I start rolling, I feel so confident and comfortable that by the end of the lesson I'm craving more.

Great care and focus on nailing technique, especially with weights- far different to an old place I used to train at that didn’t really take the time to do it right before building on the weights. Love the functional classes as well as boxing. May even have a crack at the MMA class one day! Feel much stronger and fitter for having found this place and can’t imagine training anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: WOW!!! I was just memorized by this place! I came just for boxing, then ended up trying muay Thai! Now i train with the Iranian wrestling coach and i do mma with an actual ufc fighter!!! But then. People, but then, i tried jiu jitsu. And the coach. Just wow!! This place has become my life! They even had a Christmas party!! I've never been so happy in my life making new friends too!

Fantastic experience: I joined Elev8 almost a year ago, with an injured shoulder, and I have never looked back. Even though it looks like a MMA/boxing gym, the functional fitness classes that i take are fantastic! The coaches really look after everyone, no matter what level you're at. We have managed to rehab my shoulder and i can honestly say i feel stronger (and fitter) than i ever have in my life. I can't recommend this place enough. Here's to the next 12 months guys It's been great to become a part of the family

Fantastic experience: I trialled the female-only jiu jitsu classes at Elev8 and it's been the best thing I've done for myself. I'm now 7 months in, training consistently (both mixed and female-only classes) and my dedication has been greatly influenced by the people that attend this gym. Everyone is so welcoming, motivating and always willing to help you with developing your techniques in training. I've also been utilising the strength and conditioning classes to build endurance and overall fitness, which have been complementing my jiu jitsu training really well. The trainers and coaches are passionate in what they do and genuinely care for your progress. Hands down, best gym I've ever been to!
