Negative experience: Terrible experience! I joined the pf rothwell on 15.8 and paid in full for the 3 weeks until cancellation date, they told me to fill the form including the direct debit details, since i paid in full i told the lady to cancel direct debit or delete bank details from the system, however i god direct debit yesterday which is ridiculous i told the lady in reception to ensure cancel the direct debit.

Negative experience: Don’t know why the massage chairs have been out of order for months now? Annoying

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Planet Fitness Rothwell for the past year. Every single day is the same consistently clean gym with plenty of great equipment. I have absolutely no complaints and for the money, you can’t beat it. The staff are great, always friendly and kind. Definitely recommend joining.

Negative experience: Do not join this gym and do direct debit with these people they use ezypay and it will keep taking money out of your account gen z are brain dead. Just had a phone call with that blonde hair dog and email from Jamie saying they are going to keep my $24 which is theft do not deal with this gym or ezypay they will rip you off these to clowns are scum.

Negative experience: I do not suggest going with this gym. Better off finding a better one. Yes staff not bad but if you ever wanted to cancel it, get ready because it's going to be one hell of a hassle. Busy or struggling financially? Too bad, must come in to cancel. Hardly worth the hassle for a okay gym.

Negative experience: Do not use the gym as I have moved away. I called to cancel my membership and they said they would get the manager to call me back. I have not heard from anyone since and payments are still coming out of my account. Not being able to cancel our own membership online is ridiculous, this gym is a rip off by only letting people join and not allowing people to leave.

Negative experience: Worst experience ever!! Cancelled my membership because of an injury then realised they took two more fortnightly payments AFTER! Have called multiple times to which the response is “i don’t know what to do” and “our manager will call you back” each time i never got a call back. Finally was fed up and went in there and the staff were rude, unsympathetic, abrasive and still had no answers for me. The manager said she’d call me back by the end of the week with more details from finance….its been three weeks and still nothing!! My two nephews nearly joined. I stopped them. My friend nearly joined. I stopped them. I’m really hoping this review stops people from joining these thieves. Absolute worst gym I’ve ever been to!!

Negative experience: Was paying for two black card account subscriptions at once. For a long duration plannet fitness turned a blind eye to this. I should have spotted that I Was not using the gym but getting billed for two Daniel. Catteralls $18 a week all ads up. After this I just get turned away and asked what account I would like to continue. The worst club.

Negative experience: I just wanted to cancel as I don't use it and am going through financial difficulties. Staff have been unhelpful and was told cant cancel over the phone but wouldn't tell me how to cancel.

Fantastic experience: This place is awesome for $5 a week. I love the range of modern strength machines and massage chairs.

Negative experience: I moved interstate where there is no Planet Fitness Gym. I called, emailed, even sent a letter to them and they still refuse to close my account. Once they have your account details, thats all they care about. So they can continually withdraw money from it... my as well give your information to a scammer.

Fantastic experience: Impressive variety of classes, reward systems (positive reinforcement for class attendance), encouragement of prosocial behaviour (i.e., sanitisation of equipment, no judgement). Jo is very conscientious, knowledgeable, and diligent. Lucas, who instructs the classes is very conscientious, knowledgeable, and patient.

Fantastic experience: The classes that Lucas does are totally amazing. I used to do the morning classes until they were taken away I still came to the gym but I am now lucky enough to be able to do the afternoon classes My fitness level from not doing his classes has gone down incredibly, its coming back now. my work out partner did one class last week after not being able to do them in the after noon and was pumping oxygen - I said to him we were so fit when doing the classes. I have had many PT and to be honest Lucas is the best he works so hard on different exercises how to push you without pushing you Planet Fitness you are so blinking lucky to have him and to the gym population why not have your PT session for free instead of 60 to 80 dollars you have to pay

No lock in contracts best gym facilities I have seen to date! Oh and vip access gives you access massage chairs, hydro beds, tanning booths and light therapy pods what's not to love! Hands down I love my gym!

Positive experience: It's always clean, open air huge space and plenty of machines to work out on, heaps of machines for cardio and about the same for resistance/ weight lifting etc. The prices are very competitive you'll never find another gym that charges you from $5 a week membership! Also the staff here (Morayfield and Rothwell) are very helpful and friendly, it's only downfall is it doesn't have a squat rack or long bars to do OHP or deadlifts etc. Otherwise it's a good gym with lots of clientele

Negative experience: Thieves!!! My wife started a membership for both of us she rang to cancel our memberships sometime after because of covid lockdowns. Her membership was cancelled mine wasn't. She noticed we were still being charged so she rang 2 other occasions they gave her the run around manager was supposed to call her which never happened. I rang today to cancel my membership tried to give me the run around but I wasn't having it. Long story short this is a company you'll have to watch. I asked if I am entitled to any reimbursement which of course was a no I told them I was going to warn people with this google review they didn't care. Watch your bank accounts people very dishonest company.

Negative experience: Not even one star i joined planet fitness 8 weeks ago there was no annual fees they recommend me to go with black card as you don’t have to pay annual fees and i was agree with them and after 8 weeks they charged me annual fees then i called to manager he said that deal never existed i will talk to my staffthat means manager doesn’t know what their staff is selling. Positive experience: Pros: Friendly staff. Very economical! Cons: Genuinely think I got COVID here (I went nowhere else last week). Cleanliness levels are low, no one wipes their equipment down. No squat rack or bench press either.

In the past couple months of being a member I have become great friends with the staff here. And of course the perks of black card membership is amazing... who doesn't love a massage of spray tan.. Negative experience: We just had a family member who was too sick to go to Gym for several weeks. She was told to bring a medical certificate and they would deduct charges for that period but when we went to pay- surprise! NOT TRUE. Up there with the worst dishonesty in the corporate world. DO not beleive ceverbal assurances from Planet Fitness!!

Negative experience: I wanted to end my membership as I was unable to continue going to gym for medical reasons and I was told to bring a medical certificate in for the previous weeks I was unable to attend. I went to the trouble of organising medical certificates and driving over and was told they would not accept them unless they were for the future dates. So I was given incorrect information and they refused to fix it. Safe to say I won't be going back there again!

Fantastic experience: Prefer this gym over others I've been to. I workout to continue my physiotherapy regime and this place has everything I need and more. Always equipment available, a relaxed, atmosphere and helpful staff. I especially like the massage chairs and hydrobeds. Added a past group training timetable as an example.

Oh and there are heaps of equipment so you won't have to wait to do your workout. Planet Fitness has every thing and more, with massage chairs, hydro massage beds, jiggle booths and spray tan booths. Why would you go anywhere else!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going there for some time now. The staff are extremely friendly and approachable. The onboarding process is a breeze. Black cards can bring friends for free, and get access to a massage room full of goodies. These seemed cool, but I never really made much use of them-so I dropped back to a white card, with no problems or questions from the staff. The lockers, change rooms and shower facilities are great. Usually always pretty clean, sometimes left a mess after peak hour, but staff are constantly cleaning. Lots of machines, loads of space, and so much sanitizer. You can usually socially distance without a problem even at peak time.

Fantastic experience: Very well equipped.. new machines.. clean.. sanitized.. (which is also available everywhere for free). more focused on Cardio rather than body building.. I wished to see a stream room.. that will add a glow of refreshment to this amazing place .. Free spacious parking area is a great advantage.. staff is very experienced and super friendly..
