Negative experience: I visited Club Lime to sign up for a membership, but there was no one at the front desk. I tried calling the phone numbers listed on Google Maps and the Club Lime website four or five times, but no one answered. I waited for a long time inside, but no one attended to me. This was a very disappointing experience.

Positive experience: I quite liked this gym but it closes way too early, so have sadly gone to another local gym which has recently opened and is 24hrs. Crazy that this place can't stay open til even midnight and just be unstaffed for the last few hours, esp since most competitor gyms, and even other club limes, are 24/7 nowadays. If they went 24/7 i'd come back, as there was a good range of equipment, big functional area and it's generally clean. The cleaning wipes available around the gym were great!

Negative experience: I've never encountered such incompetence in my life until I met Sharon, the so-called "manager" at this gym. Ive been at this gym for 6 years now and the first day she stepped into office I could tell she had no clue what she was doing. It's evident that her sole motivation is squeezing every last penny out of the customers, with zero regard for their comfort or satisfaction. Sharon seems incapable of making any decisions that benefit the members. When I came after work and casually asked about the gym's dress code, she snapped at me, stating that my choice of clothing was completely unacceptable and that I better change it immediately or I was not allowed to train after I trekked it there after work not even a warning. She should be fired immediately and I am speaking on behalf of most members as I regularly hear complaints about her in the locker room. Finally, I don't know why no action has been taken yet as I have seen about 20 reviews that name and shame her!

Love the easy access to getting into the gym. Doesn't get too packed where you can't walk. I also love attending Kevin's group classes, very motivating, great trainers, and pushing me to my limits.

Negative experience: Used to be a great gym with a vibrant community. Nowadays, if you enter the gym there is broken gym equipment everywhere, broken toilets, urinals, sinks, benches, mirrors and worst of all the AC is broken and hasn't been fixed for several several weeks. Mind you this is not the first time the AC has been broken within the year. Honestly feels like management has just given up on the gym, or is just trying to ride the storm out. If you enter the male toilets, the whole middle bench is stripped with just the supports sticking out lol.

Negative experience: Staff and Trainers are great and I don’t normally leave reviews.. But, my wife and I are considering leaving. Broken equipment is common and understandably may take time to fix if parts are required.. but broken down air-con is another matter. It’s been weeks now and the gym has had no air conditioning. The heat, stench and body odour is disgusting and unhygienic in the middle of summer. To make matters worse they have fans which just blow the dust around..and old portable units that are insufficient.This is not what we signed up for.

Negative experience: Upon my visit on the 11th of December 2023. The Gym has no air-conditioning and very rude customer service. A staff told me that. There is class at 7 when checking the timetable. Bathroom and Reception Area doesn't feel like a modernize gym. Very Small and Limited Area

Negative experience: Good gym, but would be great if it was actually accessible. Have attended the gym numerous times and constantly had issues with accessing it as the managers are incompetent and cannot simply fix this up. We are not able to enter when unstaffed due to the door not opening. This is not good enough and am very close to leaving this gym after seven years.

Negative experience: People at club lime are nice but cannot say the same about everything else I have experienced. I have been a customer at clublime for just shy of 7 years and have always had positive interactions with managers and staff until the somewhat recent hire of the new manager Sharon. Her inability to take care of the gym, staff hire choices and rude customer interactivity to me are atrocious and I am no longer happy to be a member of this gym. She should find a new job without customer service.

Fantastic experience: Only coming here for that cute Asian staff
Negative experience: The crazy manager does not know how to treat long-term members well, driving most of the gym community away from the gym or are forced to come at night. My close friends and I have been at this gym for 6-10 years +, and have seen the progression of the gym management go rapidly downhill ever since the gym was Fit n Fast. The toilets are beyond saving, noting that the urinals often overflow, and toilets clogged. Absolutely disgusting. There are many disrespectful highschool students who don’t know basic gym etiquette, never putting weights back and messing around in the gym. Also treating the receptionists disrespectfully. Night receptionists spend the majority of their time either flirting with members or in the back staffroom not doing their work. Only gym with frequently broken ventilation, which makes it extremely humid to work out in. Only gym to still have luke-warm water refill, and seemingly unfiltered with unclear water seen after refill. You will most certainly be judged on your attire as you enter the gym during the day, where I have heard countless stories of friends being threatened to be kicked out based on their clothing (horrible way from the manager to keep long-term members). Machines and mirrors are often broken, which generally takes an abnormal amount of time to fix. We are glad that recently there are more viable gym options in Burwood, as we will no longer be members of Club Lime.

Negative experience: Great gym and staff EXCEPT the manager, the manager constantly makes the gym an insufferable experience and I've resorted to going only when she isnt there. Truly ruined Burwood Clublime and I heavily advice newcomers to avoid Burwood Clublime if not Clublime as a whole
Negative experience: So, i have been going to burwood for about a year and bit now and I have had no problems, but since a new manager has been hired, she has been excessively rude to both my friends and I, she recently confronted me regarding a garment of clothing (jeans) i was wearing and told me to leave the premises and get a change of pants. I have come to the gym many time with jeans after tutoring but this rule has recently been implemented without my notice and I was given no notice and no forgiveness for wearing a singular pair of clothing. She has added rules such as no school pants which can increase the amount of clothes i have to take, i live hours away and takes me a while to carry my laptop, schooling materials and gym material. These rules that she has imposed are not available in a tangible manner and are not available im any website and I believe she needs to either clarify these rules and take a kinder approach to STUDENTS who are oblivious to new management.
Negative experience: Facilities are so-so but the manager is always very rude, the way she looks at and speaks to the members definitely needs to improve!

Negative experience: Moved house so switched from five dock to Burwood, I won’t be coming back!!! Firstly it’s so hard to find, some decent signage would help! Secondly the members have absolutely no regards for other members. Weights left everywhere, how hard is it to put your dumbbells back in the rack properly? It’s actually a great size but not utilised to its advantage. Young crowd that simply don’t understand gym etiquette.

Positive experience: came for the international day of happiness promo (i believe that was the name), facilities pretty good and newer than other gyms I have been to.

Negative experience: Absolutely garbage, been wanting to switch gyms for months now but it’s the cheapest around the area. The manager is borderline psychotic always has a problem with me and people in the gym all she wants is money. I’m officially scared to walk in the gym now as all I want to do is get a workout in I have to worry about her giving me trouble. The rules which the gym sets are unrealistic and prison like I feel anxious as I train and walk around. Worst experience in a gym ever I now resort to come to the gym late when the manager isn’t working as other staff are more friendly and easy to communicate with. If you are young and just want regular training DO NOT come to this gym even for the low price the manager is a headache stress giving money craving maniac. I write this in anger as tears roll down my eyes. This is NOT a pisstake I am genuinely angered and outraged.

Negative experience: Never suggest to get PERSONAL TRAINER pack, I picked one in the beginning and it's already more than one month I am still waiting for trainer. It was said that it will be two classes to train but I haven't gotten a single minute of training, worst experience.

Fantastic experience: Great gym, cannot beat the price for the facilities. There are never issues with overcrowded machines and plenty of space. Good PTs - Camilo is very good. Sometimes can get very anoying with young kids who shout and slam weights, staff should control this please.

Negative experience: A dude who always powerlifts close to the mirrors and drops the bar on the floor, making it shaky, never been warned. A girl personal trainer who never cleans any benches or machine she uses, even when it was compulsory. I've been almost punched by a guy which I asked to pack away his deadlift bar as I needed to use it (that day my legs were sore and I needed the bar for a back exercise). The receptionist guy stopped him from attacking me (even if I kinda wished he did, so I would have let him spend time in jail), but they did not rebuke or suspended his membership, not even ask him to leave the premise. Apparently physical and verbal harassment is tolerated! I called the police and they asked me if I wanted to send a fine or take him to court. I've just let him receive a warning as, luckily for him, I'm a polite human being and super busy at work. Moral of story: Don't rely on the gym or on their policy, but on yourself. Not going there anymore.

Negative experience: I'm being very objective with my comment. The Gym is recently renovated, equipments are good, workout area is quite spacious . However their internal control and communication system is a pain. Back to early 2021, when they re-brand to club lime, my membership got duplicated by an operating error of a staff and I've been charged double for months until I found out and asked the club to correct the error and refund me the overcharged payments. They did refund partially of the overcharged fees but told me they were unable to refund the whole amount...a remaining of $70-80 roughly. However, they agreed to waive the fitness passport access fee of $68 for me, because I changed my membership to fitness passport, which I agreed. Then, Sydney entered into lockdown. Last week, when the lockdown lifted and I found my fitness passport membership with club clime expired when I just about head back to gym...asked their staff and been told they no longer accept Fitness Passport lol... I think, it would make more sense if the club could inform all fitness passport members before terminate their memberships and offer a refund of access fee.

Fantastic experience: In short it's a well-equipped gym in a good location with some very friendly staffs. Fees are quite reasonable as well. Personally I would strongly recommend this one to people. By the way, the gym just got refurbished a week ago and now it’s even more luxury than some of the big-name gyms I’ve been to. Imagine a gym with six bench pressing seats, yes six! This gym deserves more attention. P.S. I’m not getting any rewards from the gym by posting this. Actually they’ll need me to recommend 10 friends to join so as to give me a membership discount and I told them to save it as no way could I have achieved that. I just think that this gym is probably the best gym I’ve ever joined and I really would love more people to enjoy it. You’ll not be regretting it after your first visit. P.S. again, the contract is not locked. You give a one-month notification (forgive me if I’m wrong, but that’s what I remembered) and you quit anytime you want. Easy.
Negative experience: Bad music for training same as the others fnf
Negative experience: Having been at this gym since 2011, I’ve seen the sad recent degradation of this once community oriented gym. Ever since the new management came in and they changed their name to ‘Club Lime’ (although the gym is still marketed as fit n fast at the club) management has become incredibly profit hungry to the detriment of its members. I was told midway through 2020 that due to the new membership they had revoked their ‘Black membership’ which allowed members to bring in guests to train for free. No notice. And with this change they also increased the prices. This was a big shame as I used to bring my girlfriend and she knew all the then friendly staff. With the onset of being bought out by this new ‘Club lime’ and paying higher fees I have been told for almost a year now that new equipment is coming, however it has still not arrived. The straw that broke the camels back was when they gave me a 1 day guest pass and after trying to bring in my girlfriend they said she could not train as she had been here before. Where was this information on the pamphlet I was handed? Transparency in communication breeds trust, unfortunately this is something that has been greatly lacking under the new membership. I feel sorry for the older staff as they have seen this steady decline. New management are insensitive, and when I tried to reason with them and ask for a one off as I have been here for a decade they would not hear it. Do not join this sinking ship of a gym, it hit its iceberg a long time ago. There are much better friendlier gym alternatives in the area.
Negative experience: Trash gym has no ac or fans. Their fans have been broken since I joined. Also rude arrogant manager
Negative experience: The contract is locked and has lots of hidden charges. Also it's impossible to cancel your membership
9. Subject to Clause 11, if your Membership Plan is Fixed Term (paid in full) or Periodic Membership, then you may cancel this Membership Agreement at any time however: a. Negative experience: Recently I have join back in this club, clean place with equipments. I have many years experience of yoga and pilate in gym. There are only few classes in one week, Now the instructor didn't give good teaching on weekend, I m kind of very disappointed as I m only available on weekend.

Negative experience: The gym is okay The hours are terrible Opens at 530 on a weekday (not early enough) Opens at 7am on the weekend and closes very early The staff are usually just standing around talking to each other ( front desk staff not the pts who are great) There are no early morning classes which is a bit annoying considering I’m paying about $100 a month for the premium membership Not enough variety No introduction to how to use the equipment All in all not really worth what you pay unless you just go for the standard membership which is just access to floor no classes ( which are useless anyway) #dissapointed

Positive experience: Here's a real review if you're thinking of joining the gym. Equipment: Has the essentials but does not have high quality tier equipment like the local competitors. ie. The barbells are loose on the inside but does the job. Heavier dumbbells fall apart and you need to rescrew it yourself if you don't want a piece of it to fall on you during training. Yes OH&S is concerning, but give them a break, businesses need to make a profit at the risk to their customers. Dumbbells: Has it's own section. The dumbbells increases at 2kg increments until 30kg. Then has a pair of 35kgs and 40kgs. If you plan to gain mass, I recommend Maccas and not here. Space: Has a fair amount of space. Classes: I don't go to these, if you're really going to train, learn it yourself or get a personal trainer. People: Staff are pretty good, people who train there are pretty nice too, but then again it's Burwood, we're a nice lot. **WARNING** The air con breaks every Summer. The gym is on Floor 1 and is fully enclosed so it's suffocating when it breaks. I've been a member for 5+ years and it breaks every year for a few weeks. Sign up at your own risk. You're welcome for the realest review of the century.

We work hard to maintain a great level of service in all our facilities and ensure all OH&S standards are met. The aircon in the building was broken in December which was beyond our control as that is managed by the building landlord. We installed portable AC units in the club until the issue was fixed to help the issue and we thank all our members for their patience during this time. We have passed your feedback onto our team. Negative experience: Would give 0 if I could. Terrible staff who would rather speak to each other than their customers, and are ridiculously unhelpful. If you're wanting to sign up for Yogabar, be prepared to login at midnight the week before the classes you want to go to - they will book out before you get any chance to, so its a complete waste of a membership. Haven't been to a class in over 3 months because every single class you want to go to, you can't get into.
Positive experience: Easy to use equipments, reasonable membership fee and friendly staff. Recommneded.

Negative experience: Can you be please more specific and proffesional about your trading hours on Anzac day or any other public holidays.Or you just need an excuse to keep the gym shut?.we still pay membership fee,don't we?. A lot of people look forward to their workouts on public holidays and they dont need staff to be around.we can just use our key tags for entry and their are plenty of cameras around in case .But no ! you have to make your member to park their cars far out and then walk up only to discover the gym is closed and they have wasted their time.Please be professional and specific about your opening and closing hours in future.I was their today on Anzac day around 2 pm and the gym was closed much to my frustration and of other gym members.Hope I got my message across to the management!

Positive experience: YogaBar is great. Being able to bring a friend is also great. Functional area is excellent however could be better with an investment into a Concept 2 Ski-erg. The weights/machines are fairly aged however still do the job! Staff are lovely! Would also love it if the gym opened to a later time on the weekends.

Positive experience: Very spacious gym, staff are quite friendly. However people NEVER put the dumbbells into the correct section of the rack which makes it extremely difficult to find the dumbbells your after.

Negative experience: Be careful, These guys encouraged me to enter their gym with no cancellation fee. Later I wanted to cancel and they made thousands of excuses for charging me for 2 yrs contract. At the end I paid some cancellation fee and got rid of there. But guess what? They have been charging my card for 2 years!!!! When I called them to reimburse me, same excuses again to delay. I'm now taking it to fair trading and court if I have to. Just be very careful...
