MyFitness Club Broadbeach

Negative experience: Incredibly poor that they close the club for 5 weeks and no notice to members via email or even on their app. So why are we still being billed during this period?

Negative experience: I had a generally positive experience with the gym's facilities and class instructors. However, my opinion drastically changed when I left the country and stopped attending the gym, only to find out they continued charging me $95 without my consent. Despite explaining the impossibility of me using the gym, they refused to refund the money. This lack of customer care is unacceptable and reflects poorly on their integrity. Avoid at all costs.

Positive experience: Great views of the beach, plenty of room for free weights, just under 100 machines also a body weight workout area. On the Third level is a little difficult to find.

Fantastic experience: Myfitness club Broadbeach has an amazing team from reception staff to PTs. This club has amazing facilities, has a great view of the ocean and has gone through some fantastic renovations. Personally I’ve enjoyed becoming a regular at the gym, not long after I joined I get greeted by name every time, I was super nervous about joining a gym for the first time and worried I’d not feel comfortable or know what I’m doing but I always had amazing support and advice from Myfitness club staff. If you are looking at joining a gym, this one is worth it, no joke. I highly recommended heading in and asking for a tour. You’ll see what I mean!

Fantastic experience: The staff at My Fitness Club Broadbeach are the most friendliest and welcoming people I have come across at a gym. The equipment is kept clean and I never had to wait around to use a piece of equipment. The club also has a great range of group fitness classes to choose from, my favourite being the FIIT classes, they are high energy and also a lot of fun to participate in. This club has a very warm family oriented feel about it.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love this gym. Not only is there a variety of equipment, but the view is amazing- looking out at the ocean while working out? Yes please! Also, all of the personal trainers and staff are so welcoming and helpful. I've come to love going to the gym more than anything!

Fantastic experience: Great environment filled with welcoming people. You will always be greeted with a smile at MyFitness Club and feel encouraged to give 110% no matter your skill level. I found the gym as a place to hang out with friends and work towards goals together or as a place to cool down and reset. I loved all the classes they had to offer, especially body pump, and you can really feel yourself getting stronger every class. Would definitely recommend trying MyFitness Club Broadbeach to everyone. :)

The culture is the first thing you notice when going to MFC, the people are amazing and you feel super comfortable to be there no matter level or what stage of your journey are at. It’s modern, clean, and very spacious. The staff are so incredibly friendly too!

Group exercise classes were particularly helpful, offering amongst other things Pilates, Yoga, Body Attack, MetaFit, Spin and even Urban Dance! Highly recommend! ☺️

Equipment is great, nice natural lighting and view of ocean and the classes are for everyone and all levels with fantastic instructors...sad to leave but I have moved away.

Fantastic experience: You never know how good you have it until you don’t. I moved a bit further away so I switched gym a few months ago and happy to say I’m back at My Fitness club. Best gym on the coast by far. The drive from Burleigh to Broadbeach is so very worth it for this place.

Fantastic experience: I was at this gym for over a year and the crew were amazing, special shout outs to Jake, Chris & Adam. It’s been updated recently so there’s new gear (sled pulls, battle ropes, assault bikes, ski-ergs) and always plenty of space to do a functional work out if you like to move around a bit instead of just using the machines. There’s a few squat racks and it’s normally easy to get onto one. It’s a good gym with a good vibe!

Negative experience: Signed up for short term. Had to leave back to NSW and unable to make any use of the services due to the QLD border closure which is out of my control. Making regular payments to pay for a service that I can not even use to finish my contract and still receiving addition "late fee" threats via email. Ridiculous given the current situation with border restrictions.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love this gym! It’s big and spacious, lots of new equipment, the staff is super friendly and it’s the perfect place to get to know new people - as it’s a very social gym. They even organize (hiking) day trips to explore the GC and to just socialize. How awesome is that? They have a great variety of classes as well, especially the FIIT classes are next level! I would highly recommend this gym if you’re after a professional and friendly gym.

Fantastic experience: Great value! they offer awesome fitness, yoga and pilates classes. Adam will always greet you with a smile and everyone is very welcoming. The instructors are very knowledgeable and will help you get the results you're looking for.

Negative experience: Staff who promised 2 weeks free if signed up on the day. Couldn't access club for first week as tag didn't work and no one was getting back to me. Once sorted asked club to add on a free week or schedule a free fortnight for the run around and wasted transport costs. Outright refusal by staff. No resolution offered then didn't reply to my last email. It seems once they've got you signed up they stop caring. This poor customer service alone was why i was glad i had arranged a cancel-on-sign-up just incase i didn't like it. If they had done the right thing and adjusted this, I would of stayed. But after this start i decided against it. Be careful of the hidden costs too - membership freeze 5$/ week. Every few months there's near $5 maintenance fees in addition to membership fee. There's a bimonthly payment processing fee your told about after you've filled out the entire contract and you also can't cancel less than 1 month in advance. Also asked on sign up for someone to give me a call about the 65$ 3 x PT sessions i paid for. No one got back to me there either.

Excellent location with perfect view of the beach, clean and well maintained facilities, sufficient amount of machines and dumbbells to choose from and amazing and highly energised group classes.The best part for me is the relaxed, friendly feel of the place.I always walk out from the gym with a big smile on my face. Negative experience: Very greedy people. I haven't been to the gym in 5 months and im still being charged. I tried to quit a month ago and they told me they wont cancel my account unless I pay 1 months memebership. I told them I dont have that money because I've lost 100% of my income due to Covid19 and Im not eligible for any government benefits so ive really been doing it tough. I thought they might show some compassion (as gyms were in the same boat as us) But no. They wont cancel my membership and every week my bill gets higher and higher which makes it more and more impossible to pay. Im sure they're going to milk it as hard as they can and then send it to a debt collector. This is very cold hearted and greedy. I haven't been to the gym in 5 months and all i want is to walk away Ive been a member for over a year and have paid for two accounts with no problems. I thought being a loyal customer might mean something, I was wrong. Find another gym! These guys are extremely greedy and cold. Read the reviews! Other people have had the same thing happen. I wish I chose another gym. Very friendly team until money is involved.

Fantastic experience: I have been a member at My Fitness since inception. The space is complemented by the stunning views over Broadbeach park and the ocean. The team are always on point and with the facility recently undergoing a makeover the gym rivals any on the coast.

Fantastic experience: Was in Goldie for work for a few months and joined My Fitness Club while I was there. And seriously, BEST GYM IVE EVER BEEN TO. Huge range of exercise equipment and all in great condition, even at peak hours you'll find a bench or a machine. You have the view of the beach while on the treadmills and cardio section. Good variety of classes that all come with your membership, so your sure to find one you'll like. But the thing that really stood out for me was the friendly atmosphere. The staff are AMAZING! The PT's know their stuff and you can tell they really care for their clients. Adam (one of the managers) especially was super accommodating with anything I needed and I was always greeted with happy smiling faces as soon as I walked through the door. And it's like this warmness flowed on to the members as well; it's the Gold Coast so I sort of expected to have some roided up meatheads slamming weights around and screaming at some point, cause I've seen nothing less at every other gym I've been to. But to my surprise and delight I never had a problem with anyone, everyone was super nice. I'm reading this over and it sounds like they're paying me to write this or something, but it's genuinely just that good. I only wish there was a My Fitness Club in my hometown

The gym is huge with new functional zone, which is my the most favourite. As well as the gym offers many cool classes, such as fiit, grit series, metafit, body pump and many others. Fantastic experience: A safe and supportive gym that is well-equipped with THE BEST machines and equipments that helps me work towards my health and fitness goals. Every workout I am spoilt with AMAZING ocean views - sometimes I can even see whales breaching while running on the treadmill ! The staff and trainers are kind, helpful, funny and incredibly knowledgeable ! It is conveniently located opposite the beach for my pre- or/and post- workout beach walk, with ample parking and a wide range of cafes to go to for your pre/post workout fuel or just DIVINE coffee ! Definitely THE BEST GYM on the Gold Coast !
