Fantastic experience: I used to go to the Camberwell one but the Hawthorn branch is far superior: clean, has functioning lockers, more space, better equipment and overall gym etiquette.

Fantastic experience: I live in the middle of this gym and the Camberwell Anytime and have been going to the Camberwell one...safe to say that has been a mistake. This is so much bigger and has much better equipment. Everything looks new. Will be going to this one from now on.

We have reached out to the manufacturer and they have arranged for a technician to come down and fix it within 7 business days :) We hope you have been loving the new renovation of the club and hope that once the water bubbler is fixed we are a 5 star gym! Negative experience: THE WORSE SERVICE EVER. This all dates back to 2022, wherein I asked the team to freeze my membership ( they did freeze it for 2 weeks as I wasn’t well ) and sent then constant emails to freeze/cancel it due to my prolonged ill health, but ultimately started charging my account (as a debt) without any response from the team. It eventually went to debt collection team wherein the case was settled in 2023 and now again in 2024 they are harassing me to settle the account when the case was resolved in October 2023. I received an email from AF Hawthorn on 10/5/24 referring to an email which they sent in 2022 and said that I didn’t respond to their email back in 2022? They didn’t update their system about the case with resolution of ecollect (resolved in October 2023) or had no communication within the team. This was the sole reason I withdrew my membership from AF Hawthorn, they are having the worse communication within the team and with the client. I am an active member of another gym and the service and the comfort they provide is somethingAF Hawthorn can never do (at least for me). This whole process lasted for a year wherein they tormented me but even after the case being resolved they are asking me to pay the debt which was resolved by ecollect is horrendous. I would like to give you all a heads up about the kind of internal communication these guys have or how updated their records are.
Hi Mallika, We apologise for the poor communications which you received. We hadn't been notified by the debt collection company (who is external to us) that they had settled the matter with you. In our last correspondence with ecollect they informed us that they hadn't taken a payment from you so maybe they settled the account out of good will but forgot to inform us. In any case we have waived the debt since our last correspondence. We still believe that the outstanding balance is legitimate based on our original documented email correspondence with you and all notes of your file on our CRM before we referred the account to ecollect. However, we have waived the debt as this degree of confusion with your account has clearly been a poor experience for you. We apologise again for the miscommunications but as far as we are aware you were not charged for your arrears. We certainly aren't trying to torment you by sending an email, we were just following up on a matter that as far as we could see at the time was not resolved as we had not been informed of ecollect settling with you. We hope this clears things up, our doors are always open to you if you ever want to return to our club :) - Club Management

Fantastic experience: I've been to a bunch of Anytime gyms around Melbourne, but this is the pick of them. Extensive selection of weights and machines, dedicated functional strength area, newest equipment, plenty of classes. Really well managed and always has a friendly atmosphere. Hands down the best Anytime Fitness I've been to.

Fantastic experience: Fortunate enough to live a few minutes away by foot and I’m super kicked by the quality of the equipment, facilities and layout of the gym. The trainers, particularly Chris and Dean, are super helpful and cheerful and I really look forward to coming in and working out as often as possible. They also have great group sessions every day and it’s a nice change from my solo workouts.

Fantastic experience: JOSH is a great personal trainer. He overcame great adversity to get me in the gym 3 times a week every week. Today I deadlifted 115kg for 2 reps! AND they put crazy frog on the play list!!!!!

Fantastic experience: Before I started going to anytime fitness Hawthorn I was rated to having a 1% chance of beating God in a fight. Since joining, Chris and Josh have helped me reach the potential of a 2% chance of beating God in a fight. It’s not a lot, but it’s double what I had before.

Fantastic experience: The staffs there were extremely helpful and has lots of experience on weight lifting. I joined their free lifting technique class on Thursday, the staff make good observations on my technique and offer great cues which helped me gained confidence and improvement of my lifts.

Staff are very helpful with getting you started on your fitness journey and the staff members make you want to keep coming back as they’re so polite and lovely. The gym and bathrooms are always spotless and equipment is always kept clean. I love this gym

Fantastic experience: If anyone knows me, they know I love the gym. I live and breathe the gym. And I have absolutely been through my fair share of them. However, never in my 14 years of pumping iron have I ever ever stepped foot in a more pristine and welcoming gym. Absolute vibes galore in this place and I put that on god. Do yourself a favour and sign up here. Manager Chris is now my best friend and we go on occasional coffee dates and also play PlayStation together (fortnite).

Fantastic experience: Phenomenal gym that restored my faith in exercise! Working from home means my most frenzied walks are between the kitchen and the lounge. So I needed some alternative arrangements to prevent a sedentary lifestyle. Arrived and was signed up by the lovely Chris, who explained everything carefully and with a wonderful, friendly attitude. Now every week I get personal training with the wonderful, chilled and down-to-earth Josh. I have felt safe and well looked after since I signed up. Whilst I have no delusion of shredding myself a *taut* physique, with this wonderful crew I am at least capable of having less of a *torte* physique.
