Negative experience: I’ve had the worst experience with Anytime Fitness Footscray. I’m still being charged x3 weeks after receiving an email saying my membership was cancelled and I won’t be charged but there is no end in site I’m still being charged. Don’t go here unless you want to be stuffed around and charged ongoing…

Negative experience: No air conditioning, and not even a spare pad for the bars. The staff is very helpful and nice, but everything else is a complete mess.

Negative experience: It honestly seems like there’s always something broken in the gym. Only three toilets and one is often out of order or just in the worst condition. Equipment is often out of order for months until it’s fixed. The gym layout is changed often which is annoying. The fob reader for the only entrance before 7am is broken too so you can’t get into the gym. Just always seems like something is wrong.

Fantastic experience: Amazing gym i have never felt more safe and comfortable to work out at a gym from the staff to the members to the equipment. Jerry helped me with my new gym program it was amazing!

Fantastic experience: One of the best anytime fitness gyms I’ve trained at, good feel and ambience and always very clean and the staff are always very friendly and very helpful , my only small complaint is the precor shoulder press machine being replaced as with the precor chest press machine ,they were probably the best machines I’ve used , and it would be good if the water fountain machine got fixed as it doesn’t have cold refrigerated water , and I’ve trained there when their was no one else using the water fountain and it’s still not cold , at the other anytime fitness centres I’ve trained at no matter how full it was the water was always cold, so please with the warmer weather coming fix the drinking fountain , keep up the great work team .

Positive experience: The team here are super helpful and very kind and understanding to all situations and goals. The gym is on the smaller size which makes it less intimidating to be in. Don’t let the size fool you it’s decked out with everything you need for a quiet set. It’s kept tidy and fresh which is nice but probably due for a facelift though, it feels a bit dark and outdated. Could use some brighter colours like the newer AF gyms. I noticed a lot of comments about parking however there is free parking lots just a two minute walk away so it’s very convenient.

Fantastic experience: Honestly a great place to workout, enough equipment to check off every part of the body you want to work on! The staff are great, friendly and ate more than willing to give advice and tips, well done guys!

Negative experience: Not recommended at all, there is Derrimut Fitness 2kms away way better than this This is absolutely crap gym, no one care about the broken equipments and they don't bother to pick-up the phone. Parking is paid, which mean you'll pay $10 everyday to train if you're driving.

Negative experience: Can do much better. How have the yoga balls been flat/deflated for the past 6 months despite asking? The ceiling lights are pretty aggressive - i.e. trying to avoid looking at the ceiling during any mat exercise or exercise involving lying on a bench

Negative experience: Small gym, old equipments, no cellular signal, no wipes. Poor

Negative experience: AVOID. Would give 0 stars if possible. The gym is small, dark and smells. The music is so bad - would be better to have none as everybody wears headphones anyway. They lock you into a 12 month contract. The fees are waaay too high for the quality of the gym. If you try to exit the contract they keep charging you for another month due to their "notification period". Absolute joke and zero customer service. Avoid. There are heaps better gyms around.

Positive experience: Older gym equipment in a relatively small space. Though the price was cheaper than other nearby anytime gyms and the staff were friendly and helpful when I was joining.

Fantastic experience: The new owner Nick has the best interest for this club going forward, the new team are extremely nice and the facility is professional and well looked after!

Fantastic experience: WOW! Love this gym so much!! Awesome kind friendly staff that ensure patrons and members needs are met, always up for a chat. Good clean facility with variety of equipment and machines for my workout needs. I enjoy visiting this gym as It doesn’t get crazy busy like others and I feel like family. Have also had a few sessions with their new PT Austin, top bloke knows his stuff and is passionate about helping me and the gym. Rate it 10 out of 10!!! :)️

Fantastic experience: I signed up at the start of the year and I've really enjoyed using this gym. The staff are always friendly and they're easy to reach out to for any assistance. Considering that the gym itself is smaller than others, it still has plenty of equipment and facilities for me to fulfill my workout needs. I'm also a big fan of the gym's location with a Coles and Kmart just downstairs and Footscray station being only a few minutes away. Overall, it's super convenient for what I want to achieve and is a safe environment for anyone to join.

Negative experience: Locked me in contract for 2 years and charges me alot fortnightly....used to be my fev gym but not anymore I can't even cancelle my membership without paying for consultations fees even if I didn't attend the gym for 2 years ...be aware and don't trust them ...absolutely.garbage

Negative experience: Staffed Hours says 10am weekdays. Its 10.15am still not open. Rang the numbers on the door and still no answer. Perfect way to sign up more people

Negative experience: I have been a member of anytime fitness for long time now, but this place man!!! No proper lights, inside very dark. There's no proper maintenance. Air conditioning doesn't work. Needs lot of improvements at this place. Had a bad experience the other day, there was a guy slamming the equipments and dropping the weights making so much noise couldn't do workout.

Fantastic experience: Awesome gym! Super clean, has a few free lockers with keys, and it's on the 2nd floor so the view when working out is so refreshing. The staff are really nice and helpful too, had a great chat with Jade :-) There's support for female gym goers in particular, so would probably be a good gym for any women looking to get into working out. Overall best AF I've been to in Melbourne, way less crowded than Flem. Best time to go is afternoon to avoid post-work crowd - around 2/3pm hardly anyone there!

Fantastic experience: is my second go to for training at the moment and i drop in on my way home from work. equipment has everything you need and has a few odd items that are great for hitting muscles at a bit of a different angle. the staff are friendly and helpfull and keep the place clean and tidy. now i know its footscray but the place actually has a pretty good warm vibe. i generally hit up Flemington frst but this is my second go to at the moment which is only because f where i live. if you live close to footscray or you travel on the train from work, its worth going to.

Fantastic experience: Hey anytime Footscray, Currently a member and attended travencore but moving closer to your gym. Could you please tell me if there's any bike facilities around your gym/anywhere safe to lock a bike up that's not on the main street? Thanks DJ *update* gym has been letting my partner and I keep our bikes inside the gym where they are safer and not far from eyesight whilst working out. there's also hand rails on the mezzanine level out front of the gym where you can lock your bike.

Negative experience: Very poor customer service and dodgy business. Check your contract carefully when signing up guys! Initially signed up for a 18-months membership without being told that the direct debit WILL CONTINUE after the membership ended, no notice no email no call to let me know about this. After being asked they came back in email and told me that it already stated that in the contract and said that was the only notice. I have no idea that my credit card got debited for 8 months after the contract ended and of course I was not using the gym service since then. Understand that Anytime Fitness Footscray was on the right because of what stating in the contract but...guys, you're running a business to a human not a machine and of course please don't charge money for service that people was not using. Glen the manager also challenged me to raise the matter to ACCC as if he doesn't care. Totally rude and unprofessional.

Fantastic experience: WOW! It's been a while since I've been into the Footscray gym but I have to say, it's never looked better and the new staff are a delight. I'm really impressed!

Negative experience: It's not a fitness center. It's more like a local farmers market that allows five times more visitors than ther capacity. If the want to make money (which is their only aim), they should not put the title of a gym here. A gym is supposed to be a better place than whatever they are selling. 2 years and now I'm about to cancel my membership.

Negative experience: Rude staff took a disabled client there to enquire about casual session staff looked the client like he was a alien. I was a member at AF in Brisbane so was familiar with them but would not recommend the Footscray location also seems a little unsafe if using after dark due to location. Besides this the casual rate is $25!!! That’s outrageous. Over all simply disgusted in the service. Visited 7pm 07/02/2020.

Positive experience: It's fine. Does the job. Not huge but it's usually not too busy so can get to the machines / equipment you want and get through a workout in an hour.
