Fantastic experience: The things you can find in any other gyms will still be true here to some extent (slightly lesser compared to bigger gyms): Weights being left on plate loaded machine and on the bar at the squat rack. Steroid head throwing weight onto the floor after bicep curl. Skid marks left in the toilet bowl. Some things that are a mixed bag, kind of want you to scratch your head a little bit: The is a dedicated functional area with 3 squat racks, and well equipped with various pieces of equipment such as sled track, battle ropes, rowers, etc… But the flooring is soft, It’s like walking on top of a yoga mat. This softness can make your feet and ankle wobble, leading to a less gains from your lift. Some things are better: New pin loaded weight machines: all parts of the body are covered, there is a prone hamstring curl machine but not a seated hamstring curl machine (due to space limitations). New state-of-the-art cardio machines: very smooth, touch screen for operation is nice, sharp and very responsive, internet connected. One bad thing about these machines is if you wanted to pause mid-session for a PP and don’t come back within 60 seconds … your progress and session will auto terminate. Some include weight machine that are not always found at other gyms: a proper GHD machine, supported T bar row, belt squat machine, and dead lift machine. Sign up for this gym if you don’t care about spin/cycle class, don’t care about Reformer Pilate, don’t care about a real Dry Sauna (a infrared sauna is due to be installed here), or don’t care that other gyms are twice as big for the same price. Sing up if you do care about no lock in contract, a close knit community feel, free WIFI, and perks that can be negotiated on sign up (such as $1 admin and 24hour access key; or a free merch pack that includes a nice towel and water bottle).

Negative experience: Be careful if you have a snap fitness and you change location and start coming here they will begin charging you $46 a fortnight. Would give it negative stars if we could. $46 a fortnight, what do you think you are? Gold's gym? Good life? Out of ya mind.

Negative experience: I chose Snap Fitness Forest Lake because it’s near my house, but things turned out bad. I pay for the membership with fully access to the equipment but whenever they have a group with personal PT, they always ask people to leave the room even when I just start my workout. Not just one but many times like this. I honestly feel disturbed and decided to cancel my membership but still had to pay 2 payments even I don’t go to the gym anymore.

Negative experience: Hip hop class music at 10am today was so loud and it was very disturbing for me trying to focus on my work out. Even with my headphones on. I spoke to another gym member and he agreed the music was too loud. I went to speak to the instructor and he said the aircon was broken so they had to open the door which i understand. So i asked him could he please turn down the music cause I could hear it from outside. He said no without even trying to turn down the volume even a little. I said I'd like to make a formal complaint and he said "good, you can also tell them about the aircon" Very selfish behaviour and not an attitude I would expect from a staff. Very disappointing. More disappointing at how the instructor responded in a way he dismissed my concern. I have videos of howloud the music was if needed for an official complain.

Fantastic experience: Hey there, I just had to share my thoughts about the Zumba class in Forest Lake, and it's all thanks to our fantastic friend, Jamies who's the heart and soul of this amazing class. I can't express enough how much fun the sessions with James are; it's the highlight of my day, no kidding! So, I used to be a bit iffy about group workouts, but James changed that for me. He's a rock star – his energy and dedication to keeping us in shape are off the charts. Seriously, he's incredible. We're lucky to have James as our Zumba instructor, and let me tell you, he's not just about fitness. We can see the self love, body love, aesthetics from his Zumba class Jamies, thanks a million for making Zumba so darn addictive.

Negative experience: I recently got a new job in the complex that the gym is located in and I asked for a free trial today. I came in and the greeting was very cold - they literally didn’t even smile. I was told to sign in and that was it - they didn’t even show me where the bathroom was. I was basically ignored. Very unimpressed and I sure as hell won’t be signing up.

Negative experience: Anna is the worst! I booked a training with her. Arrived early at the gym, she saw me. After I got changed and ready for my session just to tell me she didnt want to train me and she had another client she was going to today, my only options were to train by myself or go home. Very disrespectful and nasty attitudes. You can tell she is money hungry all they want is the looks, the client and the money! DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!!!!

Negative experience: Worst gym ever, not professional at all they kicked me out of the gym because i took my daughter to the gym and behavior was not professional at all, I will launch offical complain against this gym

Positive experience: Went from the small gym at Sherwood to this one. Which is great for beginners. It has so much equipment and multiple levels. What upsets me is that everytime I walk in there. It stinks of BO, and it's harder to focus on sets when all you can smell is dry sweat on the floor; It's so gross. And the water fountian filter needs to be cleaned and changed. I don't like seeing orange or red when I'm dying for a drink. I'm forced to leave early to go to the servo (I train nights) for a bottle of water. Not keen on that. If the floors can stay clean and the gym not smell like a footy teams dirty laundry baking on a roof in the Queensland summer heat then I'd love to give this place 5 stars.

Positive experience: Has good range of equipment, but it's getting extremely overcrowded and it shows on cleanliness lately. i never want to write anything negative but I've also never seen a gym this overcrowded at around 5pm-8pm that you cant do a proper workout.
