Negative experience: I requested the cancellation of my membership for three months because I am not satisfied, I have gone at different times and the gym is very busy. I take a long time training, I sent the cancellation request two weeks ago and I have not received any response. They keep discounting me. In addition, no penalty should be applied to me because when I bought the membership I asked the advisor about how busy the gym was and this person told me that it was usually free which is not true

Negative experience: Unhygeinic gym..dirty toilets..dry area in the bathrooms are wet stinky..no sign boards signifying wet areas..no health and safety measures a big red flag. Coming onto personal trainers who charge 70 dollars an hour teaching u how to use the machines..lol!! But dont give u a personal schedule and diet plan despite requesting for 3 months Paid 1600 dollars on a round up and then gave up.. Very unporofessional..!!! Mend your ways

Negative experience: Don't want to recommend Point Cook good life gym. Initially when I joined they said transfer of membership is allowed. Now I am trying to transfer membership to my friend but somehow they are trying to avoid it. Same happened with me when I was about to get transfer from someone. So I had to get a new membership.

Negative experience: Avoid!!! The toilets were filthy with dirty tampons all over - multiple times. Told reception and she shrugged and did nothing. Myself and my partner signed up and was told that they would transfer our accounts when we wanted to leave. We was false advertised by a lady called Tina and was told to sell them on gumtree. We finally had them cancelled a month later but my boyfriend has since had payments being taken out of his account. Costing over $400. Both accounts were confirmed to have been closed town via text from Tina. HR only offered to reimburse him $100 out of ‘good faith’!!! Appalling, don’t bother.

Negative experience: When I initially joined, they mentioned the need for a medical certificate if contract termination was necessary. Despite providing one for my leg injury from a doctor who clearly says i cannot attend gym, they now demand a second certificate specifying a permanent illness, necessitating additional doctor fees. This feels inconsiderate and exploitative. They want to rip you off think twice before joining them.

Positive experience: Was considering joining GoodLife Point Cook. Pros: Women's only room, decently clean overall, has a steam room and sauna, good location. Membership costs on the higher end. Machines are a bit dated. My experience with Tina was 5 stars. She was extremely helpful, prompt and not pushy- fabulous customer service from her.
Negative experience: Not a single decline bench or machine. The flat press machine is as less effective as it could be. Two weird pec fly machines but couldn't keep a regular conventional effective one. They really need to bring some new effective equipment unless they just wanna cash people by providing nothing
Negative experience: usually good but was working out at 11:30pm today (23/01) in the women’s only section of the gym and a man came through the doors abruptly which was a bit shocking. he said he was a cleaner then proceeded to take photos of the equipment but regardless i think goodlife should ensure that only female cleaners enter this section.

Negative experience: For a gym that’s overpriced they lack in functional gym equipment, Everything is old and squeaky. For the price I’m paying there should at least be some sort of upgrades to the equipment. Also a hack squat machine would be beneficial as every gym should have one.
Negative experience: The staff are really nice and welcoming, but majority of the equipment is old and outdated. The weights are not calibrated, equipment squeaks and lots of wear and tear.
Negative experience: Always read your contract and make them write the promise on contract!!!! I joined the membership last year because they have a babysitter room. By the time school holiday came,I brought my 7years old daughter one day,I’ve been told the room for kids is no longer available, No one informed me by any message or email,and the day I brought my daughter,I had PT booked,one of the staff wouldn’t even let her sit at front and wait for 30mins,I dont feel been treat like a customer,rather you like or not, that’s how it is, over promises when they sell the membership, once you locked in one year contract, you can't stop payment even when they broke the promise first.
Fantastic experience: I like this gym the most among all in Point Cook. It is conveniently located, has a good atmosphere, and has decent equipment, which makes me feel comfortable coming here.

Positive experience: I’ve had a great experience at point cook goodlife. I was greeted with a friendly face by Tina at reception. Tina also went above and beyond her role by informing me about Studying with AIPT and attending goodlife as a member the benefits I could get. The gym was so clean and it was a completely different experience from hoppers goodlife. Even though hoppers gym is closer to me, I actually would drive the extra 5 mins to pointcook just for the clean space. I would definitely recommend going here. Car park underground is great makes it easy to access the gym.

Negative experience: Good facilities but seems like customer service is not the best. I've worked at gyms before we should thrive to provide great customer service. Came about 15 mins before closing and they seemer a little mad, didn't look very happy. Especially the guys standing there with the 2xu polo shirts. Only wanted a quick look around the gym, to decide on which one to join. Never seen such customer service being around gyms for 10+ years. The staff had a convo behind the desk and seemed a bit annoyed to have to do a quick tour before closing. Greeted me by asking me how I managed to get inside rather than how I am doing. The receptionist otherwise however was good and friendly, sad that those top dog looking guys were rude. Not a complaint but a review so you guys can provide a better service. Thanks

Negative experience: Goodlife Point Cook discriminates against people with medical conditions! They refused to extend my membership freeze even though I have a medical reason and a medical certificate, happy to pay the freeze fee and being told previously that it will not be a problem to extend on medical grounds and how understanding they are. Obviously not! They forced me to cancel my membership now because I can't attend at the moment, so later when I'm ready to come back again I will have to pay joining and administration fees again. Money grabbing exercise at it's best! Don't even bother joining them. Go elsewhere!
Fantastic experience: Best gym in the whole Point Cook area. Friendly and enthusiastic staff. A big range of exercise equipment. Facilities are great too. The only thing that I find can be improved is if our 24hours access card can open the basement carpark door early morning especially between 4:30am to 6am everyday.
Fantastic experience: Great range of equipment, lots of different studios to do classes or your own workouts in. Great to find a gym that includes gym floor/group fitness/24.7 access and sauna steam room access all in the weekly charge and at a good cost. Their members app with workouts is awesome and lots of helpful PTs and staff members down there ! Big shout out to staff members Ben Danika Evan Chris Dylan Kristina Brad and Czarina and RPM instructor Michael Kenny who keep a great atmosphere in the gym!
Fantastic experience: Goodlife is a great gym. Customer service is impeccable and the staff are lovely. Group fitness instructors are amazing! My fitness has improved. The early AM cycle and RPM instructors Ronnie and Michael are awesome. They are dedicated to improving fitness. Big shout out to Tina as well who always has a big, warm smile that greets us is in the AM!
Fantastic experience: Great facilities, membership cost is very reasonable, staff is amazing and the trainers are top tier. Chris specifically is an excellent trainer. Fair prices, always punctual and always there to help take your training to the next level and reach your fitness goals! This place has everything you could need, sauna, wide assortment of machines and equipment, functional fitness area, yoga room and spin (if you're into suffering). Highly recommended gym! A+

Negative experience: Moved 100km away, and nearest “Goodlife” gym to my new home was a 40min drive so they wouldn’t cancel my membership, which was mind you due to end in January but kept rolling because “covid” so after being harassed for months on end by there customer service staff I paid a cancellation fee thag I never should have had to pay on the first place

Negative experience: Very very out of date equipment!! Not clean the only clean once every quarter! Door scanner never works so you have to bring your keys or risk not getting in. They have canceled 6am early morning group classes so now I will need to pay to go somewhere else to do a class before work all whilst still paying my full membership each week at point cook which is very frustrating and they don't care. Would NOT recommend this gym.

Negative experience: I am telling them to cancel my membership from 2 weeks and they are not doing as a result that are charging me $39 for 2 memberships and then as I am not supposed to pay I don’t have enough founds so they want me to pay $ 40 more. It’s just very bad experience. There debit system is just to take extra unreasonable money from people.

Fantastic experience: So good to be back!! This is where my fitness journey began and the gym has been very supportive whilst I am studying Cert 3 fitness. It has all the gym equipment I need, child minding facilities for mothers with children and loads of fun group classes. Guys thank you for having me back and being very supportive. As I said when I did the Fitter, Faster and Stronger challenge, This is not the end but the start!! Negative experience: Update: It gets better , yes of course you can cancel your gym membership that you asked to be cancelled 18 months ago but there's no refunds and the real kicker......it will take 30 days to cancel but we're still going to rip you for that 30 days..... These people have been ripping me off in excess of 18 months , I called and asked for my membership to be cancelled as I was moving out of the area.... 18 months on payments ate still being taken, I understand with covid staff may be limited but I feel like I've been put in the too hard box or the we don't give a stuff box...

Negative experience: I really disappointed with this gym. Actually my membership has been freezed due to Covid vaccinate so I got my vaccine but I got a car accident so I can not go to gym. So I extended freeze member again. They charged me on 7th of January $7.43 so I called them asking about the reason and the money goes to my credit but on 14th of January they charged me again $9.99. I can not understand why they charged me. Even I can not go to gym due to car accident.

Negative experience: Have been an active member of the franchise for years but I would highly recommend checking out some other place. Decided to end my membership post lockdown and gave a call regarding my notice to terminate the membership. I was firstly informed that I have an outstanding balance for $150 which upon enquiring was told was due to unsuccessful payments from august till mid october (Lockdown times). Although I received an email regarding membership freeze since we didn't have access to the gym, I was being charged. Was also told due to the delays with the payment company there would be a 3 month waiting period for the cancellation which I would be charged for, along with the $150 cancellation fees. Upon going through the contract I found I legally have to provide a 28 day notice and luckily they also mentioned the payment company (Debit Success). After calling them up and going through my details, I was informed I just needed the 28 days notice and there's no delays. I told them everything and they decided to give the gym a call and was later informed that all the money I "owed" has been cleared along with the cancelation fees and the notice time has been deduced to 21 days. HIGHLY unprofessional and dodgy behavior. Would genuinely recommend some alternate gym options or at least not get the contract. You'd save money in the long term.

Fantastic experience: A great gym, awesome staff and personal trainers. Huge timetable of group fitness classes with plenty of variety. Solid equipment and great to see other members wiping down equipment and helping keep the place clean. Some other great things are the child minding, ladies only area, sauna and steam room. By far the best value for money health clubs.

Negative experience: UPDATE: Unable to answer why my partner's membership was charged even though she had cancelled prior to the first billing cycle. I kept asking for an explaination of the charges but they were able to reply 3 days ago. However they said its been passed to a debt collector already? I was just enquiring why it was charged!!!! I managed to cancel my membership without any further charges but Goodlife Point Cook insisted on charging her. Never join this gym as they only worry about their profits and not about their members. They will be "friendly" and "loving" up to the point where you need to cancel. Dont bother asking me to call. Just reply my emails.

Negative experience: It's unfortunate to have to post this, having spent many a happy year as a member (over 10+) but you have to be careful with this gym and it's Ts and C's. Getting out of the contract is really hard, and they will charge a full month's membership plus the preceding month if your debit had already gone through. And with any payment query you have the horror of having to deal with the dreaded Debit Success organisation, and pray that somebody from GoodLife cares enough to return your call or fix your problem. Avoid.

Negative experience: They have deducted a fee by error & doesn't reply to my request for a refund. Disgusting people. I'll join somewhere else after the current contract ends.
Negative experience: For the entire year of my membership i found that the facilities were unclean and smelt unpleasant. Toilets were always broken and smelt like sewerage no doubt a plumbing issue that never got fixed, hence the bathrooms always smelt bad. Change rooms and showers were quite dirty. Equipment was old, broken and paddings torn. All things with easy fixes were neglected for the 12 months I used this gym. I continued to go as membership is at a pricey point for what is offered but by far this was the most unwelcoming and unhygienic gym i’ve ever stepped foot in.

Negative experience: Do not go to this gym! - This gym has one of the highest memebership costs in point cook and surrounding areas. - It is very small, all the equipment is either dirty, out of date or broken - So many hidden costs that you get nothing out of (charged me over $150 for a personal trainer that I never asked for nor did I ever see, denied me a refund or even credit to use when spoken about it to them) - They do not explain the terms and conditions properly and the membership form contains no policy) - Charged me over $100 when I submitted a medical certificate stating to cancel my membership, and then still made me pay for the 30 day cancellation period and would not use the $100 to well and truly cover the cancelation costs - Keep sending me emails even though I am no longer attending there and have asked to be unsubscribed Do not recommend this gym to anyone!

Negative experience: Worst service / gym is ran by irresponsible people. I paid for their 12 weeks challenge thinking it is an initiative by club to help members. It turns out it was a stich up scheme by club to make people use their personal trainers.asked for refund , they replied after 10 weeks that refund is not possible. I lost around $200 and time with it. Bunch of cheaters/ stay away. Other gyms are better and more reliable.
