Positive experience: Got all the equipment you'll need for body-building and strength training. A bit scary and daunting contract to sign but worth it. Would however love a boxing bag or two.

Negative experience: I am a world gym member on holidays, and was expected to pay a fee for using this gym..due to a technically of not physically possessing a "gym passport". Rather than being helpful the lady at reception was kinda rude and adamint that I should pay!!. I even got the lady from my gym to verify via phone. I know y'all got the technology to print it out or something!!!..Where is the world gym family feels and Christmas spirit???... ...so for those considering joining a gym in the new year, I would % consider shopping around Caloundra for an alternative

Negative experience: what an absolute joke. i have been trying to cancel my membership FOR MONTHS. i have sent in my paperwork, i have called and emailed MULTIPLE TIMES to no answer. when i finally change bank accounts to stop these payments all of a sudden you always want to call me when u want my money? RIDICOULOUS. customer service = 0. customer care = 0. BTW STILL WAITING 4 MONTHS ON

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love this gym! Always welcomed by friendly smiling staff, the facilities and gym floor are always clean, the trainers are super professional and passionate and Jo the manager is so lovely!! I love that there is a cafe where I can grab a delicious coffee as well. Thanks guys - keep up the great work!

Negative experience: Visiting this gym and this is one of the most disgusting bathrooms I have ever seen in a gym. Slimy floors and smells like mould. Hair in the drains. DISGUSTING!

Fantastic experience: World Gym honestly has some of the best group fitness classes on the coast!! The Zumba, Body Pump, Box Fit, etc are all fabulous!! Friendly instructors, highly recommend!!

The classes are energetic and interactive, and Sharon’s positive vibe really shines through, she makes everyone feel welcomed and loved. The girls always welcome you with a smile. The reception staff are always friendly and make you feel welcome.

Fantastic experience: I really enjoy the World Gym Caloundra. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the equipment is in excellent condition, reflecting the gym’s commitment to maintenance and quality. The Zumba classes, in particular, are amazing—energetic, fun, and led by Sharon who make every session enjoyable. The combination of a top-notch facility and outstanding fitness classes makes World Gym an excellent choice for anyone looking to enhance their workout routine.

Negative experience: The gym is filthy! I don't think the womans facilities have been cleaned properly in weeks. This morning the bleaches in the sauna were covered in sand. I've seen the same dirty muddy marks on the floor of the sauna for weeks. The walls are layered in dust, it would be worth looking up, under the vanities and on the shelves the layers of dust clearly illustrate the lack of care and pride. The shower cubicles are dirty, often with layers of hair around the drains, dirty floors and dividers. One of the showers has been broken since I started at the gym, and the hot water is so temperamental.The first toilet has been engaged since I started, perhaps it is broken? who knows, but again, a lack of pride in ensuring a top quality gym. Moving onto the gym floor, The mirrors in the gym are covered in dust, as are the weight racks. Upstairs the windows are splattered with what one can only assume is sweat and other bodily fluid. And when you go to the ground for floor stretching, the hair and grime is everywhere. If you lay your own towel down, it lifts an incredible amount of grime. It's disgusting to say the least. I've cancelled my membership after 3 months. Worst gym I've ever joined. Last gym I'll join with such high penalty costs to cancel membership.

Negative experience: Gym itself is amazing but I won't be back there ever again I had the world gym national pass I used it when I came to visit my sister who lives in Caloundra they let some one access my keytag and started billing my account I live in Newcastle nsw so you could imagine my surprise when I couldn't use my pass at the new world gym Beresfield which is 5 minutes from my home I rang Caloundra world gym numerous times and when they finally called me back the lady receptionist wouldn't let me get a word in was extremely rude and didn't give a damn about fixing the problem if I could give zero stars I would they never answer or return your calls and when you finally get a hold of them they are extremely rude don't listen and talk over the top of you if you live in Caloundra avoid world gym Caloundra like the plague or covid out of ten I give this place a rating of minus infinity I'll never visit this gym again when in Caloundra the staff are an absolute discrace too the world gym name I don't hate the world gym brand I love it but I hate really hate the world gym at Caloundra the staff are absolutely disgraceful and don't care about there members I'll train at nth Lakes or Maroochydore world gym's instead half either way but better than dealing with the arrogant staff at world gym Caloundra

Negative experience: Premium gym equipment. Cardio upstairs. Located in an industrial area. Quite time consuming to commute to as there is only one arterial road in or out of the industrial block. Adds an extra 15-25mins in or out during peak times queuing at the lights - getting worse with the ever growing Aura population. Enhanced physiques seem to be the norm. The admin made it as difficult as possible for me to cancel my membership. Milked another couple of months of payments out of me by not returning my calls and or emails in a timely manner - although this is not unusual for the fitness industry. Premium pricing.

Negative experience: It’s a trap. If you get pregnant and need to freeze your account or if you have any other emergency you will end up paying a lot of money. Scammers

Negative experience: Worst gym iv ever been to when I 1st sign up I got calls the rest of the week asking if I was still interested in signing up the gyms far to busy to get a decent workout staff never seem bothered never a helloo or any sort of communication to make you feel welcome nothing was explained to me about my membership like paying the 90 just to join paid weekly but have to be a member for a month before can cancel then they take there time to email you back to cancel it so they can get that extra couple weeks off you then charge you another month once cancelled joke of a gym just scamming people in any way they can

Negative experience: I didn't realise I missed a payment of my membership, a few days later they took out what was owed but then took out another $15!! It was 2 days late & to have another week's pay as a penalty is rediculous. I can't wait till my membership is over.

Negative experience: I don't go to World Gym, my wife does. After being a member for years past her contract, she tried to pause her membership because she was pregnant but she came home telling me they couldn't pause it as long as we wanted so the only option was to cancel. Then that process took long enough for another payment to come out. She went back recently to start there again and was told she had to pay a new member joining fee which wasn't cheap (considering the number of other gyms offering free sign-up contracts). After talking to the owner they said they could discount the joining fee to about $45 I think it was which is a joke. She was a member for years and only wanted to pause her membership because she had a baby. Expecting her to pay another joining fee is a joke and terrible customer service. If I had been there, they would have either waived the fee completely or I would have been taking our business elsewhere. She wanted to stay there because they are the only gym near home with child minding but I couldn't care less about that. I'd prefer to look after our son every time she wants to train rather than pay a monthly fee to a gym with terrible customer service.

Fantastic experience: Massive gym with plenty of space. Very popular so will obviously be busy at peak times. I was very comfortable training there as a full shared gender gym.

Fantastic experience: I have got to say this is a great Gym and what makes it good is the friendly staff. Steph, Roma and Michael (PT) have made it very comfortable for us as we were really not sure if we wanted to take the leap, the 2 girls above mentioned are friendly very personable and always have time for the clients which is how it should be, Michael goes beyond the call of duty I feel like he treats my Son like he would his own, he really does care. A gym is suppose to be friendly and chatty that’s what makes it fun and exciting to go. Guys thank you so much to the 3 of you who have made a difference in our lives and feel like we have new friends, isn’t that how a community should act. Keep smiling, keep doing what you guys are, you have won us over.

Negative experience: Idk if its just school holidays but the place turns into a bit of a daycare centre at night, a large group of p platers there every night eating maccas out the front and littering everywhere they then go in and spend more time taking pictures of them selves flexing in the mirror and being dck heads than being there to work out, turbo cringe behaviour typical of teenagers, gyms alright otherwise I guess

Negative experience: Really good quality gym on the sunny coast probably one of the best but I’ve had a few things stolen from other gym members while working out and I reported it to the staff and gave them exact times when they would of been taken and what locations in the gym and they didn’t do anything about it…. Well the cleaner actually never got back to the staff in morning like she said she would because I doubled checked the next day and whoever I spoke to told me otherwise and I asked if you have checked the footage a couple days to a week later and yeah you say you checked for hours but if you did I would know exactly what happened to my earphones instead of been spoken to rudely about it. On top of that I had to contact you myself to find out updates about it all even though you said you would have contacted me when you had checked the cameras so no you barely checked cameras or if you did you must be blind or you could of asked me to come in to have a look so you could have more of an idea what happened to my earphones and I know other people that have had stuff stolen to from here and never got it back.

Negative experience: Arrogant management. Based on how my friends where treated there as staff and based on how my work colleagues are treated when interacting with this business. I can tell the management have very poor people skills but they still piggy back off the world gym brand. I have been there once, but the admin will say they have no record. I don't support arrogant bullys and I do not recommend this gym under the current management.

Fantastic experience: Really amazing gym - I’ve never felt so comfortable at a gym before, everyone (including staff and other gym goers) are all so friendly and supportive. Big shout out to Ant who is a PT at the gym - he has been really supportive and is the best PT. Ant has really shown me what I can achieve at the gym and made me feel really confident in myself again from his coaching with my training and meal plans. I really wouldn’t be where I am today without him!

Positive experience: Wonderful Gym staff , though if your looking for a gym with various group glasses and various functional training equipment and cardio machines this isn’t your gym. The gyms main equipment is weight training more so catered for body builders. If you want functional training and or Cable machine equipment expect to have to wait or have to change your workout up as machines often taken. Unsure if this is lack of equipment and/or over crowding of the gym / memberships that is the issue. Either way it doesn’t make it for a comfortable workout. If you want classes there is one a morning and one a afternoon unlike other gyms in the area who offer up to 3. If you want hit training that’s an additional fee too same as Pilates. The gym also doesn’t offer a good stretch out cool down area like other gyms, being stretching out is important factor of working out. I am disappointed with this every time I work out and feel I’m stretching out in a random spot. The positives amazing staff, location, and crèche team, negatives as mentioned above.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing gym, everyone has been so nice and accommodating. The saunas are top notch and so clean. The machines are top of the range and hold someone who is of larger size (like myself!) The comfort zone if great for privacy when learning gym machines. The owner is super friendly and and the kiwi fella who signed me up really took his time and explained everything and helped me save money. No need to go to any other gym ☺️

Positive experience: Friendly and well equipped gym. I am enjoying my visits. If I could offer some advise regarding the Kettle Bell set up. Most of the time they are mixed up and hard to find a set quickly. May I suggest you put a sign displaying weight location on the shelf, that way people MAY know where to return them. The weight size is hard to read on the side and some people are colour blind. (Constructive Criticism only, you have a great gym)

All classes are great, staff are lively and welcoming and the girls in the creche are just amazing and always make the kids feel welcome. My 3 year old always asks me if I'm going to the gym because she wants to play in the creche the shakes are DELICIOUS too!

The facility is fantastic, the variety of equipment makes it easy to change it up with your workouts, the facility is always clean , the team are lovely and Ant is very comitted to bringing out the best in you- regardless of tears, tantrums or fatigue you may bring to the table :D

Fantastic experience: World Gym Caloundra is without doubt, the best Gym!! All trainers are super nice and take an interest in you no matter what fitness level you're at.I really like how they give me tips and tricks to get the most out of every workout. I've been going for a long time, my Personal trainer Anthony Portea, a great coach, sets up a session workout that is never the same, always surprising me, with something new, or different, pushing me to stay on track, with my goals, my reward! I have seen real changes, in my energy levels, and my body shape, a real bonus, Its great, I feel 10 years younger!

AJ runs the functional fitness classes and they are quality sessions. The variety of movements and skills is excellent and every day is different. Fantastic experience: Being in such big gym definitely scares me. My anxiety has grown enough to stop me from wanting to go at all. I am lucky enough to have met Kelly Greenslade, Kelly not only trains me once a week but does so much behind the scenes. She really is one of a kind and is an asset to World Gym.

Positive experience: I've been a member at World Gym Caloundra since December. The gym is a lot larger than what I'm used to. I originally joined for the Functional training but that fell off a little bit due to a lack of consistency with trainers however, now AJ has come on board it appears to be back on track. I've been disappointed with previous PT's that are happy to take your money but not really do much for it. I've started PT with Kelly and she's been amazing at showing me what PT's are paid for especially since coming back from surgery!

Fantastic experience: This is the best gym we’ve ever been members of! My hubby and I joined when we moved here a few months ago and can’t rate it highly enough. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, and the crèche is fantastic. It’s like a big family. I’ve been a member of many gyms over the years and the equipment at WG is the best I’ve seen. Even at the busiest times you don’t have to wait for a machine. We are so glad we joined.
