Fitness Cartel Health Clubs Morayfield - 24/7 Gym

Negative experience: Unless you’re willing to join for life, I wouldn’t recommend this gym. I had to cancel my membership due to moving somewhere there isn’t a site close by to support my family. They charged a $250 cancellation fee (which is wild .. I’ve NEVER had a gym do that) — My partner has also now called over a week and a bit ago to cancel their membership - were told to fill out a form and a club manager would get back to us - we have heard nothing. We chased up again and were told they will put an alert for the manager to call us asap. All the while they are still taking fees from us..

Negative experience: I changed to FC Morayfield when they first renovated just over a year ago. Unfortunately the experience has not been great after many miscommunications, it seems not everyone is on the same page and you get told one thing from one person and another when you email to enquire to action it. Personally I am looking forward to my membership time coming to an end soon as I don’t feel comfortable going anymore. If you are looking to join, you’ll enjoy the beautiful gym facilities but please ensure you get all your answers in writing rather than taking the word of the person signing you up. My 2 stars are for the equipment (when it’s not broken) and for when the staff that say hello and that do response to emails.

Negative experience: When I first signed up it was good but after you get in the door they don't seem to care. I moved and now attend a new facility but they will not transfer my membership to the new location I attend so I am able to upgrade my membership to include the reformers pilates the new location offers. The new location is able to give me a better deal with the membership and Morayfield won't even budge to meet this. I am not getting any help with a solution to make my experience better. Poor service and poor communication.

Negative experience: No response for membership sign up inquiry. Poor communication. No one has been in touch since the inquiry. Felt discriminated.

Negative experience: I recently had my Fitness Passport approved and was pleased to see Fitness Cartell was included in my package. I visited the Morayfield branch during staffed hours, and they wouldn't let me in without paying an additional $99 fee for a key card. I explained that I'm a Fitness Passport customer, as I travel for work, and don't need a key card, as I won't be in the area for longer than a week. They replied stating that I needed to pay the regular single visit fee of $20. I couldn't even enter for a single session to see if the additional $99 fee would be warranted. Absolute rort... they are happy to take money and sign on as a fitness Passport listing, and then want you to buy a $99 key card, even if you are not a local.

Fantastic experience: Such an amazing gym new equipment everything working and maintained. Not to mention the amazing customer service, never felt so welcome at a gym highly recommend Fitness Cartel over any other generic gym. Big thanks to Emily and the team at Fitness Cartel 10/10

Positive experience: New clean equipment. No woman's section or enough space for floor work with free weights upstairs. In the afternoons woman's toilet are not clean.

Negative experience: Leave me alone LOL whatever freak gave my number to you tell them I will never set foot in a gym i’d rather eat all the mcdonald’s in the world than lift weights. Stop calling me

Fantastic experience: Great gym. Plenty of equipment and never extremely busy. The PT's are all super knowledgeable and go out of the way to help. The nutritionist Thyago has been super helpful with creating a diet plan that works with me. All the staff is super friendly and overall creates a friendly vibe.

Fantastic experience: I was one of those ‘fear of the gym’ types. I took a leap and signed up with FC Morayfield and am so glad I did. The facilities and layout are great, the vibe works, and there is enough equipment to go around. But, the people is what makes this place…both customers and staff. A very comfortable feel; non-judgemental. The staff are fantastic. They call you by name and are helpful. My PT (Ashlee) is amazing! She has helped me to understand how to keep my body healthy and strong, and motivates me to push myself to my limits. My Nutrition Consultant (Thyago) helps to keep me on track with my goals…knowledgeable and committed to supporting people to get where they want to be. Overall, I am very happy that I took that leap. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: Since around April I have been seeing the nutritionist here and he’s been helping with me reaching my goals. Thanks to Thyago I have lost 600grams of body fat in a month and half. Thanks to him I have better understanding of supplements and what to take and how to balance my diet. I would highly recommend Fitness Cartel not just because of the free nutritional advice but because the staff are always welcoming and friendly. If you’re new to the gym and don’t know where to start Fitness Cartel has the staff to help put you on the right track.

Fantastic experience: The staff are awesome. They are always taking the time to greet you. The gym is a vibe with great equipment. The nutrition consultation has been a massive help in my progress; the bonus is that it comes with the membership.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I joined Fitness Cartel at the beginning of May 2024. On the day we came in and signed up, we met Thyago, who introduced himself as a Supplement Consultant. He asked us if we would like to make a free appointment to have a chat with him about our plan going forward with the gym and our food. As we are both 50 years old, we really had no idea what we were doing. From the get go, Thyago made us feel comfortable and that our goal to lose weight was achievable, without us feeling like we would be going without foods we liked. He asked us questions about ourselves, listened to us talk about our goals, our fears, our health issues etc. He never made us feel like we didn’t belong. In fact, he made us feel that our journey ahead to be healthier versions of ourselves was not only achievable, but that we would end up enjoying the experience. We have seen Thyago three times now. Our first meeting at the beginning of May, then at the end of May and at the end of June. We have weigh in, talk about where we can change/tweak some things, how often we are going to the gym and what we are doing at the gym etc. He has given us advice on what protein powders, pre workouts and other supplements we can be taking to help maximise our weight loss, but he has never pushed us to buy anything and we have not once felt pressured to buy them. We have purchased a few things now and we love the taste of them and I do feel like they are helping us towards our weight loss journey. Not once has Thyago made us feel like we aren’t doing our best or that anything we are doing is not good enough. He really is our cheer guy, always encouraging us and telling us how good we are doing. Since joining up, I have lost 4.5kgs and my husband has lost 4kg. Although it seems slow to us, Thyago keeps on reminding us that slow and steady wins the race and that we are losing weight the healthy and sustainable way, which is true. We want this to be a lifetime achievement, not an overnight success story. We cannot recommend Fitness Cartel Morayfield and Thyago enough for anyone looking for a friendly, amazing gym. We have not met one staff member that isn’t friendly or helpful. We always get greeted with a smile and a hello when we walk through the doors, which is really lovely. 10/10 recommend Fitness Cartel Morayfield

Fantastic experience: Good gym. Signed up when it was Genesis. However the sauna door broke down and apparently they all blamed me for breaking the door but they can’t get any security proof. I did not break the door, why blame me lol? You can put any lie detection test or software and I’ll pass it a million times, I am an innocent man. I will come back here when you guys find out who did the door down and can stop blaming me

Negative experience: Preworkout opened brand new was rock solid was told by staff it was normal. Was also told they dont do trial sessions. How do you know if you want to join if you can't trial to see if it fits your schedule and workout routine.

Positive experience: When I was joining up to FC, I told them I had another gym membership that I was in process of canceling & didn’t want to pay for two memberships. They told me they I’d have to pay the membership fee plus one week which is fine, but then said they also cover the 30 period while my payments finished with my other gym. They didn’t honour this and have had payments come out weekly. I called the club on multiple occasions and said that they would talk to their manager and get them to call me or that they’d start the 30 day period from the day I called and complained. But haven’t heard a single thing, extremely disappointing.

Positive experience: Heaps of improvement from genesis! The set up is great The only thing they could improve on is maybe fans by the treadmills

Negative experience: Dead set has been such a stuff around with payments just to get a basic month for month membership, make sure when you start up you clearly state what you are looking for and read over the contract, they will put you into lock-in contracts and tell you you are signing up for a basic montly basis membership. Hidden fees for things i don't ask for included in the startup fee which will finally get cut back $100 to a reasonable price after a week of emails and calls. Makes me just want to go to Planet Fitness across the road, have heard only good things. Disappointed and demotivating.

Fantastic experience: i was very afraid of going to the gym as i am overweight so it takes alot for me to go to the gym. a blonde girl ive never seen before said to me that i was like a fat lard of butter and i needed to work harder to be the best version of me. i think that definately crossed a line considering shes not someone ive ever seen before and i diddnt know them. but im still giving 5 stars as its a very good place, just that one incident

Positive experience: I have never been one to stick it out at a gym until I started at Genesis. I absolutely love coming here and my daughter runs to the creche as soon as we walk in the door. The atmosphere is amazing, everyone is so friendly and helpful, so many options to reach your fitness goals and the coaches are just amazing.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend this place. The sauna is amazing, the staff are very kind and informative. The facility has everything needed for anyone wanting to work out. 10/10

Fantastic experience: Great gym, it had been a long time since joining a gym, therefore I was a bit hesitant. The staff at reception were very reassuring and gave great information to start me off. I immediately loved the atmosphere and didn't feel uncomfortable with the ladies only area and the layout of the entire cardio section. I have attended a few classes already, body balance and yoga, both trainers were very welcoming and encouraging. All-in-all, a positive experience and I can't wait to really get fit and strong!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Genesis at Morayfield for about 2 years and in that time I have always found the staff to be friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to assist you. Sam is my instructor for Pilates and she is amazing, making the class fun whilst exercising and enjoying yourself. I think she is the reason why so many of us join her classes each week.

Fantastic experience: For the first time i can say I enjoy going to the gym! Genesis Morayfield is always cleanly and i am always greeted walking through the door. I do a mixture of their classes and workouts on the floor. The instructors in the classes are fantastic and are a part of the reason i keep going back, my favorite being Body Pump with Kirsten. I have also made some friendships with other mums attending the gym. Overall a great gym catering to a range of needs.

Fantastic experience: I've always felt very welcomed at Genesis. Everyone is really lovely - the staff always greet you as you come in the door & the PT's are awesome! This gym has the healthiest atmosphere and is accomodating for everyone who could be new or familiar with working out at a gym. The facilities are amazing and are always extremely clean. It is a huge gym that even during peak hours has enough room for everyone to socially distance. The classes are my favourite part about this gym. They offer so many classes that are amazing and fit with my full-time schedule well. Wouldn't want to go anywhere else!

Negative experience: Not a bad gym but zero communication if you miss a payment They just send it straight to debt collectors without even trying to contact you and sort it out Pretty pathetic even in times like these

Negative experience: It’s very stuffy and the air con is never on. The water bubbler falls to bits when you try to use it and it has been wrapped in electrical tape as a temp fix this temp fix has been like this for months The showers flow in a way so as everyone’s run off comes pay ur feet The towel policy is not enforced not even by the PTs And the antibacterial wipes are more often then not empty It’s a shame as I really though this gym was different but

The coaching zone classes are inclusive, and I like how everyone chats to each other afterwards instead of just immediately leaving after the session. Keen to become a member!

Fantastic experience: I instantly felt comfortable once I walked through the door at Genesis Morayfield. I was warmly welcomed and the gym has a great atmosphere. Tarnia showed me around and I didn't even have to think about signing up, I couldn't wait to get started. I needed creche with a gym membership and so far it has been great, the girls are awesome with my 6month old. The equipment and spaces are amazing and I've just started booking into classes. I'm really enjoying getting back into fitness with Genesis!

Fantastic experience: I have just joined Genesis at Morayfield to participate in the Allied Health Program run by DVA for ex-service people. I chose this gym as it has a DVA representative at the gym which makes organising the paperwork much easier. Also unlike the last gym I attended who only allowed you entry for the allocated DVA sessions, Genesis Morayfield allows 24/7 access as part of their program. This says to me that they are interested in helping ex-service people and are not just in it for the money. I found my DVA appointed trainer to be both friendly and professional and instructed me in the use of the many and varied pieces of equipment available for use at the gym. She also sends an email to remind me of our appointments. While the carpark gets pretty full at times it appears to be for the many group classes available and not so much for the equipment so there is no shortage of available equipment to use. The gym also has a sauna which I am very interested in using once I get myself organised. So far I am very pleased with the gym and have no hesitation in recommending it to other ex-service people or civilians for that matter.

Fantastic experience: I am a brand new gym user and was really nervous to join a gym in fear that I would be judged. I bit the bullet and headed in.. the staff have been wonderful, the gym is super clean and everyone seems lovely. I decided I would give a few classes a go and started with a Bodypump class. I felt so uneasy but the second I walked in the door I was greeted with smiling faces and a really encouraging instructor Kirsten who guided me through it and even took some time to share some tips after the class. I am so glad I joined!!

Fantastic experience: Great place very spacious the staff are friendly the only problem I have is that the music is up way to loud and also the lockers in the female change room half the time the fob won't lock the locker so you have to use the ones with the key or take your bag with you other than that awesome gym

Fantastic experience: I was a member years ago and felt like a number and was always struggling to get on to equipment due to large numbers, but I've just rejoined since my previous gym felt the same and the whole dynamic of Genesis Morayfield has changed. Everyone is lovely, the gym has a great energy about it. It's not hard to get on to equipment and everyone remembers your name. If fact the club manager called out to say hello to me today. They have been very welcoming to myself and daughter and the ladies area is AMAZING!! Thank you

Fantastic experience: I was a member for a year until I had my baby, and yet to return. I loved that there is a female area for when you don't feel comfortable in front of everyone. The variety of classes is awesome and the change rooms are so spacious and clean.
