Fantastic experience: Very nice place with relaxing atmosphere. I'm going at Vikasati once a week for about 5 months. I'm a runner and I felt huge benefits with the ice bath. My body is healing quicker from inflamations. Also I'm enjoying a lot the sauna. One of my favourite staff members is Fin, he is always available for a nice chat and he also loves sports. Tomorrow I'll have another session! See you there!

Fantastic experience: Sauna, outdoor shower, infrared (pre book), cold pool, warm pool and ice bath. Great facilities and will be back. Only downside is there is no inside shower to wash your hair.

Fantastic experience: Part of my daily routine these days, amazing start to the day and wholeheartedly recommend. The group training sessions provide a great mix or conditioning, strength and cardio. Followed by an ice bath / sauna session you cannot get off to a better start, whatever may lie ahead for the day

Fantastic experience: I have tried a few different recovery venues and Vikasati is by far my favourite. The atmosphere is relaxed, venue is clean and staff are friendly and helpful.

Positive experience: Great place for recovery for sport and athletes! I phoned an hour advance and as a walk in I was welcomed and shown around by very friendly staff. You really only need 90 mins as anything longer doesn’t really have added benefits. Sauna is incredible the best I’ve ever experienced. However, it can get quite busy in this place, so if you are after more of a quiet relaxation vibe, make sure to book your own private session or go during the week in the day time. I will be back $ a membership.

Fantastic experience: As a walk-in, I was greeted in such a friendly and helpful manner. The team made my experience so easy and accommodating. The facility is well looked after and you can feel the owners truly care about it. I also liked there is 0 pressure to get you out so you can take the time to really relax and try the multiple options available. If I lived close by I would also be joining the gym! Thanks!

Fantastic experience: Ambience is calming, staff are lovely, price is fair. I only wish they had another hot magnesium pool! FYI Google Maps has a glitch - car entrance is not on Hammond St, but rather there is a driveway entrance off Musgrave Rd, between OSKA and the Rug Gallery.

Fantastic experience: Always a very relaxing time at Vikasati. The recent reduction in people allowed per session really helps but there is always a risk of a few too many chatty Cathy's blowing the serenity. Still worth a regular visit though.

Fantastic experience: Vikasati Bathhouse at Red Hill is the best bathhouse in Brisbane as stated it is awesome. Of course when we approach our flow states and need some time for active recovery, red light therapy and these sorts of things, what better way than it is to take some hot sauna and some cold plunge. They even have an ice bath If you want to go hardcore, which I love. Nothing better than to take your mind off the travails of the day and re-energize to reset, renew and revitalize the mind-body-social with like minded people. Simply awesome. And the staff are awesome, personal and friendly. It is like the complete welcome experience. Best day of my week. Every week. “Member for life.“

Fantastic experience: John is great! His replacement, whose name I don't know, too. The sauna itself is nice. The outdoor area is genuinely outdoor, unlike other saunas, which is more refreshing than being in a building. The sauna is quite hot but could be slightly hotter for my liking. Many people sit on the top row, which is indicating it could be hotter. The only real downside for me is that people sometimes jump into the pools after the sauna and go into the sauna straight after being in the pool without showering, which, either way, is not the most hygienic thing. Also, if you're reading this, please kindly put a towel between you and the sauna bench, so your sweat doesn't drop/stay on the wood :-) All in all, I’m happy this place exists.

Fantastic experience: My friend and I adore this place! It’s been lovely for the soul. We alternated between cold, ice & hot magnesium pools. I do float rooms often; this is an extremely different feeling and atmosphere to the floating. It requires you to be in the moment. My friend said she’s never felt more in the moment than at that point. The sensations leave no room for anxiety for me so I love it. I felt so disciplined during and after and slept like a baby afterwards. Of course ice was difficult! I just managed 20 seconds on my first visit. My friend stayed in for 5 minutes and loved it. The contrast between hot and cold is not great – at all!, but after you’ve done it few times you feel mentally …so good. My second time I did cold 14 degrees- ice - hot 37 degrees- cold - ice - hot - cold - hot - sauna - ice. I loved it.

Fantastic experience: Stopped by for some relaxation in the sauna and plunge pools, I was greeted by the blonde girl at the front desk who was so accomodating and welcoming. She really knew what she was talking about and made sure I knew what to do aswell as giving me some tips on how to get the best out of my experience. Such a lovely experience and I would come back 100%. Very impressed, would recommend.

The Infra Red sauna session I do followed by time in the hot and cold magnesium pools really shifts toxin buildups - I can feel the difference after- and calms my aching niggly joints and I leave feeling reinvigorated and so darn good. Positive experience: I had a great session using the sauna and magnesium hot bath at this wellness space. It’s small not a big place so can feel a little cramped with not much on offer to sit and lounge if you wanted. Loved the facilities though and it was clean and had a nice vibe. I did enjoy my time and would defiantly go back again with friends. I slept so well also after my visit that magnesium bath was sublime so thank you!!

Fantastic experience: There’s always a warm welcome at Vikasati. The vibe is friendly and inviting throughout the bathhouse and it’s super clean! Its such a beautiful space to go and relax, recover and just wind down. Having the combo of sauna, magnesium pools and cold plunge is actually perfect (and if you time it right, you can train or do a yoga class - then finish in the bathhouse!).

The area are clean spacious and really beautiful. It can be for a couple to have a great moment together or just for a athlete who need to recover .

Fantastic experience: I have been to Vikasati a few times now and I can safely say it’s the best sauna/pools/ice bath experience I’ve had in Brisbane! Tucked away on Waterworks road the sanctuary space they have is such a great escape during the week and whether you go solo or with friends it’s a very good notable experience. The sauna is huge and is one of the best I’ve been in and the cold plunge pool and ice bath are such a stimulating and rejuvenating experience. I will be back many more times I’m sure☺️

There some suggested routines on the wall to tell you how to approach it if you’re new to ice bath work. The area is beautiful and very relaxing out in the sun while you bathe, and staff were lovely. I’ll definitely be going back, highly recommended
