Positive experience: Facilities are great, but there is a lack in the customer service department. No greetings upon entering or exiting. When taking with staff they seem very interested and bored. Good reason to find a gym where they care about their customers.

Fantastic experience: Nice clean equipment plenty of equipment friendly staff great price cannot complain I see many people complaining if you want better gym go pay $25 per week don’t complain when it’s $5-10 a week

Positive experience: It's a great place to go to the gym ( I don't complain about it at all ) but be careful of the hidden cancellation fee which I wasn't aware of will charge you $99 to cancel your membership/subscription if it still under 12 months of membership. ;)

They lure you in with cheap membership fees then make it near impossible to cancel membership by making you jump through all sorts of hoops Also not sure how offering free pizza is supposed to help those that are trying to make healthier decisions

Negative experience: Can they turn up the aircon please??? It’s summer and when you walk in there, the aircon is turned down lower than the shopping centre. The aircon needs to be freezing blasting since we’re working out in there

Negative experience: I have been a member for approx 9 months and in that time the mens change room has been a disaster area . At least 20% of locker doors are missing without any attempt to repair. The main water fountains have never worked 100%. Water is warm and only one tap works. Have reported to front desk over 10 times. Amazed more members have not come forward to present the real state of PF Springwood??

Fantastic experience: I can't say enough good things about the staff at the gym, especially EM. Last night, I was in a tough spot—after a workout on the treadmill and stepper around 5pm, I got a call and ran to the bathroom, only to find my car keys missing when I returned. EM went above and beyond to help me out. She didn’t hesitate to check the machines, move people around, and do whatever she could to find my keys. It was clear she genuinely cared about my situation, not just doing a job but helping a person in distress. Eventually, while I was outside talking to my partner who came to help, someone handed the keys directly to EM. The relief I felt when she handed them back is beyond words. Her dedication, positive attitude, and genuine care made all the difference during a stressful moment. EM always greets me with a smile and asks about my day whenever I’m at the gym—something that’s rare to find. She truly deserves recognition, and the team as a whole has my deepest gratitude. If you’re looking for a place where the staff genuinely cares, this is it!
Fantastic experience: the first gym out of many that I have actually felt excited to go to and feel comfortable being there. love the judgement free zone, the staff are so helpful and there's plenty of equipment so you're not waiting for a machine constantly and it's a bonus it's so. would recommend to anyone looking for a gym!

Positive experience: Staff and equipment are great. Grubs in the gym break stuff in the change rooms which takes a long time to be replaced. Lots of lockers without doors which is an issue in busy times.

Fantastic experience: Just signed up. I am very impressed with the way this gym is set up. Very well organised, although I have not set foot in a gym for a while. I can say this place is great. The app is awesome and can tell you how many people are working out at the gym you are planning to visit. Have not met staff yet as worked out early. Machines are great. Will sign the family up aswell.

Negative experience: Affordable gym and good equipment but man oh man have standards slipped. Seen one of the workers walking around "cleaning" with an absolutely filthy duster that I've seen them using at least 6 weeks ago. They cost 4 bucks at reject shop, surely planet fitness can buy new ones. Toilet seats are broken, toilet flusher broken, mirrors filthy, noone knows how to clean mirrors, one time the shower wasn't cleaned for 4 days and when I told them they did not care at all. Most padding in the place is torn. According to men in the gym locker room doors broken, toilet doors broken. Plastic broken offf weights. Only 1 straight bat attachment. This place needs a big shake up. I would tell them in person or even an email but they simply don't care. Don't even know who management is. By the way all the bugs in the showers are not normal, that indicates the drains need cleaning. Sort it out pf you used to be awesome.

Fantastic experience: It's a really fantastic non judgemental place I'm a big girl and I feel very welcome there ive even made friends apart from that it's cheap as chips I pay 10pw and I get all the perks including spray tans and massage beds/chairs and red light therapy!! Plus I could bring a friend for free!! But if you just want the gym for the gym it's only 5pw!!

Negative experience: The water machine has been broken since sept 23 now march 24.. they keep blaming on the ground management, I don't believe it, a gym without filtered water should be shut down especially throughout summer.. both taps are broken.. 1 is just warm tap water

Fantastic experience: Great gym, go 2x a week. Staff are great, equipment is easy enough to learn or the staff are always willing to help. Other great facilities bump it up like the red light therapy and hydro therapy. Only down side is the bathroom at the Arndale Shopping centre, I blame the other members for simply not having proper public use of space etiquette. Other than that for $10 a week, it's worth it.

Fantastic experience: Cheapest gym in Logan area
Positive experience: Great Gym all staff are friendly and helpful and always going around cleaning equipment. The only issues I have is the people that visit the Gym not cleaning the equipment after each use. its super gross. Maybe a reminder msg on each equipment like you have for your black card upgrades, would be a nice reminder to everyone to clean the equipment after use? My other little gripe is when you get given a number to a hydro bed or massage chair and there is someone already in it just waiting for an extra go. Stop being selfish.

Positive experience: This gym is pretty fab! Super cheap, really good quality machines and it's huge. Plus, the bonus of the massage chairs etc. Only downside is that the toilet roll holders are almost on the floor, last thing I want after a workout is to crunch down to get the toilet paper

Fantastic experience: After spending my teens, twenties, and thirties in the gym, I haven't set foot in a gym for a very long time. I've enjoyed exercising outdoors instead. But my wife and I, both former fitness professionals, joined PF 3 weeks ago. And we're loving it! Well appointment and we'll maintained. We can go whenever we please. And it's very affordable. Can 100% recommend without hesitation.
Fantastic experience: Although staff and customer service is amazing and the equipment is awesome. My only feedback is more initiative on gym etiquette. I feel etiquette is important no matter if you're amateur or pro like re racking your weights or not taking up multiple machines at traffic hour. Although I do not blame the staff for this I feel like reinforcing the idea of gym etiquette is important for every gym. Negative experience: I stopped coming to this gym for over a year now and I've gone in and filled out cancellation forms and everything and even after I cancel my membership I'm still getting charged just please stop taking my money I'm struggling financially and and don't need to add you guys to my list that is stressing me out please stop stealing from me please

Positive experience: Planet fitness was so great when we starting training here, but lately after addressing the issues with the staff they informed us that they have no manager and low staff. This gym was cleaned every week if not more and the standards were high. Now there is dust and dirt of the floor, dust all over the equipment, female toilets are disgusting with soap, pee, water and marks all over the walls/doors, broken paper dispensers and toilets buttons that don’t work. I really hope management getting this sorted quickly because more and more people are joining and it’s getting worse each week. Very disappointed with how much the standards have dropped. However good gym to work out in.
Fantastic experience: This is the best gym. The staff are friendly and the space is always friendly and clean. The choice of using the massage chair/bed option after working out is a must for me! Really helps stop your muscles from aching the next day.

Negative experience: It would be good if they made an announcement that the employees are going to leave and not block the lockers without the consent of the customers who have their belongings "stored", I know there is a policy about this, but we are going to train not to be aware of the time until they go to get their bags, today I finished my training at 7:10, any employee informed me to get my bag and I had to leave there without my house keys, my sweater, money and cards, I hope nothing is lost very bad procedure for you closures

Fantastic experience: Being a member to many different gyms, I can say that Planet Fitness is absolutely the best. Whatever your goal is, either strength, fitness or stretching you’ll find the right spots and equipments. Great facilities, well designed equipments (which is very important to me), massive varieties, massage bed and chairs, very reasonable price and wonderful staff. No other gym is competitive.
Negative experience: I was disappointed with the service provided by a female staff member with long hair at the gym on Sunday mornings. Unlike the other friendly staff, her attitude was unwelcoming. Management should address this issue and improve customer service.

Negative experience: No compassion sent 4x emails to cancel and two phone calls to cancel my membership, was in hospital for two weeks trying to cancel and said I need to come in or there not canceling . Just got out of hospital to find they have drained my account (haven't been to work in two weeks ) went to pay kindy this morning all gone. The only way to cancel is to close your bank account. I have everything recorded. I also have two sides of family members that will be canceling just because of this. Emails apparently don't count as letters be said even tho what century are we in?? Too bad if I was in a coma and died noone could ever cancel it. Paid for two years went two times they can see that and still won't cancel it asked for manager and he said no it's policy. I'll be letting people know how difficult it has been going on three weeks now trying to cancel .
Fantastic experience: Love this gym
Negative experience: They continue to charge membership fees long after you have cancelled, for myself it was around 6 weeks after I left that I noticed. They then make it near on impossible to get your money back. Then to add insult to injury, they have just re-begun direct debits on my wifes bank account 4 MONTHS after we cancelled our memberships without so much as a phone call or email. BUYER BEWARE Planet Fitness believe they are entitled to perpetual access to your bank account even after you have cancelled. Have never had these issues at any other gym. To top it all off, it's a fairly average gym anyway unless you like walking on a treadmill. It' really is the type of gym that gives the fitness industry a bad name because of the way that it is managed.

Fantastic experience: Been going down to Planet Fitness Springwood since they opened. It’s a great air conditioned gym with modern equipment and amenities. Haven’t ever had much interaction with the staff but haven’t ever had much need to. I’d recommend it if you’re looking for a quality and affordable gym in the area.
Negative experience: Really disappointed that there will be no more staff from 10pm onwards, definitely makes me feel less safe going there to train at night. It was never really publicly announced and left a lot of people confused

Negative experience: I pay for a black card membership but can't use the benefits of it when I want to now that they've made major changes without warning! Why should I be punished for working out late at night... time to find another gym staffed 24/7 so I can at least use the services I pay for without it being locked away.

Negative experience: I have heard down the grape vine that they are letting go of Tyrone and Mitch? These two night staff members the reason I go to the gym, So much wisdom and have helped me beyond measure. Truly disappointing
Negative experience: The upcoming changes to the workforce are simply appalling. A true example of how corporates only think about profits over customer experience. Being a PF Black card member, i expect the extra services we get to be available 24/7. What if the person finishes work late and only comes to the gym after 10 pm. Would he/she not be able to use the massage chairs etc? Tyrone and Mitch were the most welcoming of all staff and it’s staff like these who bring a change to an otherwise boring gym experience. Countless conversations, advice etc from them will be missed. The most important bit is that i won’t feel safe to attend the gym after 10 if the night staff isn’t here. It’s right outside a pub with drunkards roaming around. Please bring back Tyrone and Mitch. There are better ways to save money but not this.
Positive experience: I’m a huge fan of training at night due to my life schedule and hear the news of Tyrone and Mitch to no longer be working night shifts seein them comunícate with other members not only myself makes for a good gym vibe and goin to a fob just gonna make it just another gym I think personally this is a big mistake planet fitness

Negative experience: Initial was 5 stars now 2 due to changes to the PF workforce - I am writing this review because I am extremely disappointed in which the way Planet Fitness direction is going. I am 70yo and am a Black Card Spa holder and chose PF because PF had a POINT OF DIFFERENCE TO THER GYMS in that having staff on duty 24/7 including the graveyard shift and that is why I chose PF. I have had wonderful support and help from the graveyard shift Tyrone & Mitch and felt very safe and well looked after. I believe that your customer service will deteriorate with the removal of PF night staff and that PF should do more to keep your customers satisfied and invest in new marketing strategies but NOT to remove night staff who do a fantastic job in delivering exceptional customer service and a safe environment. A point to remember is that it is harder to attract new memberships than to keep the ones that you have. I love the atmosphere at PF however if PF will be similar to other fitness clubs (eg no graveyard staff) why should I stay with PF when only yesterday I was offered $5 a week for 6 months to join another club which has 24/7 trading hours however no graveyard shift. My depth of frustration in being let down is enormous. Is profit over customer service that important to a global company like PF? I have also forwarded an email to the Mgr: Sachin Christian so he can explain to me why I should stay with PF. Regards Ursh 24.11.22
Negative experience: i would come during the day and the day staff are absolute careless and don’t want anything to do with you, but one night i finished worked late and came during night and the night staff, mitch and tyrone are the most friendliest and caring staff i’ve ever met. they bring the good vibes soon as you step foot into the gym not like the day staff do.
Negative experience: Worst Gym!!! I was being watched and followed by another member to the point where he stalked me outside of the gym and even came to my workplace. Despite night-staff’s efforts to notify management, they refused to do ANYTHING about it. I felt so unsafe. There are very few staff members that are actually nice to members! If I could give them 0 stars I would.
Negative experience: I'm very unhappy to hear that the gym won't be staffed overnight and that I was not informed of this as when I signed up I was told there would be staff there to assist me with how to use machines and equipment at all times the gym was open. Also with the pub right across the road I felt safe knowing Mitch and Tyrone where there overnight.
Negative experience: I am hearing rumours the gym will be unstaffed from 10pm to 5am during this time the black card area will be unaccessible for the members if that is true planet fitness will definitely loose lots of members who loves to come workout at night , the best part of night shift is two amazing staff members Mitch and Tyrone who welcome and helps you at anytime possible without these two guys I don't think many people will feel safe to attend to the gym during the night , I hope mangers/owners reconsider their decision to keep Mitch and Tyrone in their position as they are doing amazing job for planet fitness.
Negative experience: Very disappointed in planet fitness for letting staff go right before Christmas. All to save a few dollars. Ur staff deserve better. Especially Mitch and Tyrone who have had awesome reviews and have been mentioned a heap of times by name in said reviews. Can u say the same for ur other staff ?? Negative experience: I work out late at night most days since I have a busy schedule. Was just told by your over night staff that the massage chairs won’t be available past 10pm and that Mitch was given only 8 days notice to find another job. This is not how you should treat your staff. I feel sorry for these boys. You should really re think the choice of getting rid of the overnight staff. Not a happy customer.
Negative experience: Devastated to hear that Mitch and Tyrone will no longer be on night shift. They both made my friends and I feel super safe and made the gym environment a pleasant place to be. Definitely not the right move. I will definitely be rethinking my membership.
