Fantastic experience: GoodLife is amazing, I've been coming every day for about a week now and i can say the facilities are clean and in great condition. The trainers are so happy and motivating, and the classes are awesome. When I come to GoodLife I feel like I'm coming to have fun instead of workout. My favourite so far has been the arena and aqua classes. Also the water bubblers are so cold and it's awesome best money I've ever spent

Fantastic experience: Get this… I am moving to a new place and was looking at joining gyms when out of the blue Sophie contacted me about looking at renewing my contract and getting some good deals. Just her being kind and friendly was enough for me to renew but in a different location. The phone call was great and she is a great communicator. 100% recommend talking to her and now back into the good life family!

Fantastic experience: I was going to to start this review by writing all the good things about Goodlife Health Club Robina. I then decided to walk the review back and explain about myself. I have been retired for 18 years, and have had a number of health issues including cancer. I would now like to survive for a lot longer! I also have PTSD from my time in the Regular Army. Having positive people around me helps a lot with my mental and physical conditions. Going to Goodlife Robina is very helpful indeed , walking in the front door and being greeted by positive, friendly staff like Jess and Elisha makes me feel great. I enjoy attending Arena Classes with Dee, who is a great trainer. I also have recently rediscovered Body Balance on a Sunday with Magda. I'm sure Magda won't mind me writing this, I love listening to her accent! I feel great after doing Body Balance. I know keeping on the move is the best thing for my health.

Negative experience: Staff are not at all welcoming, no hello or bye, no smiles, just always chatting amongst themselves. The car park situation is a joke out of the shops main hours, so if you have to search and find a park on the top level you can only get the stairs down but then you can’t take the stairs back up as they lock. They also hide the fitness passport behind the desk so you have to wait around until they can be bothered to speak to you. Overall, disappointed and plenty of other gyms. The gym itself is good.

Fantastic experience: I love this place. Staff is friendly and efficient, the equipment is well maintained and clean. I’ve had a session with a personal trainer today, Jak was very approachable and was a very helpful and knew his business. I’m happy to be back after a few years with family sickness.

Negative experience: Does people at the front desk know how to say HELLO!!??? HOW RUDE!!! no greeting and really bad attitude hiding the Fitness Passport QR code behind the desk. Management needs to get on the top of this!

Negative experience: It used to be a good gym until they turned the aircon up that hot you nearly can't do your workout. Listen to your clients and FIX THIS ISSUE !!!! Well you have done nothing , it's still hot as frock , can't wait till summer

Negative experience: Dear manager, I am writing to provide feedback about an unpleasant experience I had at Robina’s Gym with one of your receptionists at Friday night 9th Aug. As a regular customer who chooses this location because it's close to my home, so me and my partner both join goodlife. I value the services provided by your facility. However, my recent interaction left me feeling disrespected and dissatisfied. On my last visit, I forgot to bring my membership card. I explained this to the receptionist, who then attempted to find my account using my mobile number, date of birth, and name, but was initially unsuccessful. During this process, her manner of speaking was rude and dismissive, which made me feel disrespected as a customer. Her attitude seemed to convey a sense of racial bias, and I felt that I was being treated differently because I am Asian. Eventually, she found my account by trying my mobile number again, but instead of apologizing for the initial difficulty around 5-7min in locating my information, she remarked that I should remember which branch I registered at. I believe that a more professional approach would be to assist the customer without placing blame, especially since it is possible to locate accounts using a phone number, date of birth, or family name. When I pointed out that her approach was not good for customer service, she sarcastically replied with, "Good on you," and walk away which further reinforced the negative experience. Additionally, the receptionist commented that if I had brought my card, this issue would not have occurred. While I understand the importance of bringing my membership card, I feel that everyone can occasionally forget their card, and it is the responsibility of the staff to assist members when needed. I visited during staff hours specifically to receive assistance with such issues. I hope this feedback can be used to improve customer service and ensure a more respectful and supportive environment for all gym members. Thank you for taking the time to consider my concerns.

Fantastic experience: I only do reformer Pilates. I love it and it's helped me immensely to regain movement after a double knee replacement and a hip replacement a year ago. Within 6 weeks I could feel a massive difference in my mobility and core strength.

Fantastic experience: a couple months ago i expressed interest in Goodlife Gyms. Alysha contacted me to book an appointment at Robina. She was bright and lovely to deal with. She recommended reform and i have implemented it in my training routine. she expressed her personal passion for Goodlife. Negative experience: Equipment is consistently out of order not working and in a bad state of repair things go for ever without being fixed , gym is dirty , toilets are dirty , weights are never in an orderly fashion , u have to go on the hunt looking for attachments and weights , I want out of my contract , I don’t know how they charge people to come here , worst gym iv ever trained at

Negative experience: This gym deserves NO stars at all. Rude staff, terrible management . The manager's name is Tania. I had a health problem and I couldn't workout for this reason. The manager didn't reply my email which I waited more than 1 month and I had to call them again. She came up with the excuse that she was on holiday?? So who is in charge then I proved to her that I sent my Medical Certificate and did the surgery. And they only refund myself for 1 week because they told I got the deal when I first started So... is it not a deal to make you join in??? What one thing has to do with the other??? I was in Hospital paying the entire month because the Manager was travelling?!! What?!? Moreover, the equipments are old, there is no Hip Thrust machine lol and the hygiene is terrible, the toilet is always disgusting with poo and sometimes no toilet paper!!! Also, there is someone going in there and STEALING people's bag, taking to the shower and grabbing whatever they please. Do you know what the staff does??? NOTHING!!! Be careful with you your bags, this place is UNSAFE!!! Seriously, don't waste your time and money over there. I am so mad with the way I was treated by Tania (the manager) ! I will never ever go back to this gym again

Fantastic experience: I recently joined this gym, because I was looking for variety in my gym sessions. I was offered an excellent deal for unlimited access, including 2 sessions with a PT for $49. The PT, Peter, was so helpful in showing me how to plan sessions to achieve my goals. He obviously listened and took into account all my needs. I am looking forward to regaining strength and flexibility through a range of classes, the pool and the equipment. The front desk service staff are also very friendly and helpful.

Negative experience: the robina goodlife has been great up until i decided to cancel my membership and move gyms, lady at the front was so rude when i explained i wanted to cancel, i followed all the instructions to do a membership transfer to avoid the CRAZY cancelling fee, they said i’d get no correspondence if the transfer went through which made it difficult to know if i was going to be charged or not, overall horrible handling from team, absolutely disgusted in this gym and their colleagues.

Negative experience: Hard sell tactics to keep clients from leaving. Reception staff abrupt and rude. Weekly cost halved when I wanted to cancel all to lure you back. I stayed for the pilates classes but they always full, its difficult to book a place online and its hard to get a space weeks ahead. And when you do get a spot you charged if you cant make it. When you finally have had enough, they take another month’s debit orders despite emailing to say you can cancel anytime before the free month expires. Now I see other reviews with similar bad experiences. Equipment feels old, it’s stuffy inside and does not feel clean. Very dated. All in the too hard basket. Dont waste your time or money on this gym. Actually zero stars.

Negative experience: My 16 year old daughter went in today to train with a friend and asked for a day pass. She was told under 18's don't qualify for a day pass. Fair enough, rules are rules. The attitude of the desk staff was appalling however. Its little wonder the people who own this chain can't repair the decrepit equipment. No clients, no money. The age 20-something guy behind the desk whose name she didn't catch....mate, feel fortunate that I wasn't there. It's disgusting that you think you can speak to someone's child in that way. You're nothing but an obnoxious bully

Fantastic experience: Goodlife Robina is a friendly gym with a great atmosphere. The staff are always friendly, helpful and professional. The equipment is clean and maintained and they offer a range of classes to suit all fitness needs. The Reform Pilates classes are excellent for either beginners or for those more advanced. The instructors are personable, professional and knowledgeable.
Positive experience: I love the Good Life gym at Robina. The staff are friendly and the sense of community is evident with the cross section of people who attend. No matter what your ability you'll feel welcomed here. I use my AIA vitality points and get 50 % off. My membership. You have to try Julie's YIN Yoga class it's 5 stars. I have had a few personal Good Life gym instructors and they are all very knowledgeable and helpful. I'm currently with Krysta - Lee Christou and she is great.

Fantastic experience: I love Goodlife Gyms especially Robina. It has such a great vibe. I have been a member for 4 years. I used to feel intimidated at other gyms but not Goodlife. I particularly love the layout at Robina compared to other Goodlife gyms. You guys have so much to offer and it’s really good when you have access to all the Goodlife gyms because some have swimming pools and some have steam rooms. You just need to build more.
Negative experience: UPDATE: 4 months later and still cannot fathom the experience I have had with this gym. Do not sign up. I've had issues with this club for the past 12 months. The first few weeks there were issues with my card being able to tap in to the gym, I've experienced rude and genuinely poor customer service, been overcharged almost every single week for no reason to the point its a running joke with my partner that I'm just waiting to get the text, even when providing screenshots and evidence that there is no way this could happen, being gaslit and forced to pay the overdue fee's regardless. Contacted them PRIOR to the end of my 12 month contract to make sure it would end on the date it says on my contract, and they are now saying it's a month later than when I signed up and it says on the portal... I wouldn't recommend this gym to anyone and haven't even gone back in a long time. I will never return.
Negative experience: They have horrible contracts which are automatically set to on going and they won’t cancel at the end of the contract. They never tell you when you sign up that the contract is on going. You get told you’re singing up to an 18 month contract so you assume that it will end at the end of 18 months. I want to cancel and now they will take another 30 days of membership fees

Fantastic experience: It’s a great gym with a good vibe and plenty of classes to go to. You can do a circuit at your own pace or get a personal trainer attached to the gym to help you get started.
Positive experience: Good facilities, plenty of equipment so that even in busy times you aren't always waiting. Lockers need to be updated and fixed, there are too many broken ones.
Negative experience: Disappointing experiences with this gym. The staff are entitled and rude, with no cohesive knowledge. I have been looking to transfer my membership as I will be travelling for 6 months. When I enquired, the information given was that the new person would take over through an email verification and receive 4 weeks complimentary. Now, today, I have gone in to transfer my membership to someone from marketplace and a different lady has brought up that an "admin fee" of $89 has to be paid by this person in order to transfer!! This was never mentioned to me on the two other times that I had enquired. Must be hard to send an email and update my plan to their details I then wanted to confirm the other information I had been given, such as the 4 weeks complimentary, at which they were shocked and said that was incorrect and they would only get 1 week complimentary. I hope that this gym can get their stories straight one day so that this process could be easy and I can give out the right information to a potential new member. I was also disappointed when I'd originally wanted to transfer my membership to a family member who was unable to afford their current membership and saw this as a better option as my plan is cheaper. However they would have to not train for 3 months in order to take over! Instead they are cancelling their membership to take their business elsewhere. I'm surprised people still sign up and continue to train here. I am reluctant to let this person take over my membership as I don't think anyone should give their time or money to a business that operates like this. (That is if they will even pay the ridiculous admin fee).
Fantastic experience: I have been training with Ann since 2018 after not seeing results. With Ann's help and guidance I have seen great results, Ann Carter is very knowledgeable,caring and attentive, I cannot recommend Ann enough.

Fantastic experience: I joinend Goodlife health clubs just on a year ago now. Best move I've made after being at another gym franchise for 14+ years, I needed a fresh new outlook to my training and I certainly found it at Goodlife. Being a fitness class person, I've found such variety and choice at the club, coupled with friendly staff and members, it makes Goodlife my happy place to train and I stick to a consistent routine because I walk in the door everyday with a smile on my face.
Negative experience: The third party payment service company from USA for direct debit is a complete joke. $10 charge for a weekly payment plan is not an effective solution for resolving any issues. The real winner is that company, the real loser is Goodlife, because it’s reason enough for me to change gyms.

Negative experience: Gym facilities seem good and over all gym experience is ok for what they offer and the classes are good. Staff attitude is horrible though from what I have experienced, some of them are quite nice and inviting but often this certain lady at the front desk always is quite rude and says things with such a horrible attitude. Makes it quite uncomfortable to go in there as someone who’s a beginner at the gym.
Negative experience: Only joined for my PT. Equipment old and dated and often not working. Staff unfriendly and unhelpful. When it came to cancelling, sent email AND spoke to front desk. Gave date that I would be finishing up they took that as my from when I gave notice so still 7 weeks later they are still taking my money!! Absolutely disgraceful, don’t sign up with these guys. May seem like a good deal, but it’s not.
Negative experience: Wish I had checked reviews before joining Been attending this gym for 7weeks & have come across a few disappointing points.. gym equipment is limited & isn’t working up to scratch. I have needed to go find pins to load the weights on a couple of occasions & on all of the pin loaded machines I can’t load the the minimal loads on the side. So I need to jump up to the next weight when trying to progressive overload which could be up to 8kgs more and is unrealistic for a female my size when you’re trying to increase the weight! When I asked a PT about this they said they would ask management & my response was they don’t have the pins because they keep going missing & so they don’t bother replace them! My disappointment here is I am paying a gym membership for fully functioning equipment. I was told to just put a free weight on top of the pinned weight! Once again, I can’t see how safe that is & it at times being busy ithe weights might not be available. I had enough when I went in to the gym to do a workout & I needed to do a seated leg curl & I couldn’t put the pin in. When I asked a PT to help he couldn’t fix it.. because someone had slided a flat 2kg weight to add weight and it had fallen down the back! So no-one could use the machine that day! Which come back to my issue! Members are wanting to use the side weights on pin loaded machines but it seems they just ignore it! The only good point I can say is staff at front desk have been pleasant & polite! Do yourself a favour pay a little extra & go to a gym they want to listen & help their members! I left my number to pass onto the manager & I haven’t even heard back! Very disappointing

This gym is far from compassionate, they will be quick to give you a membership (read your contract it’s not like other gyms), calls your consistently and doesn’t allow you to cancel your membership freely like other gyms even if you are going through a medical situation. The worst experience from a gym I’ve ever had.
Negative experience: My credit card details got stolen and I got new one within 7 days. I updated new credit card details and Goodlife charged me $10 late payment fee on top of regular weekly fee. Once I called them, explained what happened and try to wave the fee they said they apologise but they have to charge the fee no matter what and there's nothing they can do about it. And that I should have called them to inform them same day my credit card details were stolen so it's basically my fault. I just can't believe that such a big business can get greedy and charge $10 over someone misfortune. Worst thing of all is that me & my wife use same credit card and go to same gym so that's $20 out of our joint account.
Fantastic experience: Great value for money and love the flexibility they offer to use any goodlife. Giving you more opportunities to join the type of class you want at a time that suits your lifestyle, no matter how busy you are. No more excuses, nothing to lose except weight and so much to gain including a healthy mind body and soul.
Fantastic experience: Friendly staff and facilities is good equipment good
Negative experience: Pool and spas always freezing cold. Staff keep making excuses saying they are waiting for them to be fixed. This has been ongoing for over a year now. Floor around pool so slippery/dangerous. Terrible aquatic facilities.
Positive experience: Becareful of their personal training contracts. They continue to take out money. Even if you give notice. Make sure you give notice in writing to end the contract.

Fantastic experience: Even though I have a disability, I am always treated with respect and I am treated like someone without a disability. I go to GoodLife Gym Robina 5 days a week and for an hour and a half every day. Every day I work out with a PT and always get exceptional results towards my independence.

Fantastic experience: First time back since 2019! It was nice and quiet with only about 3-4 people in the gym at 11pm which was great to get to test out some of the machines that I haven't used in many years with out looking silly and at the same time it let me work out what weights to restart my fitness journey at while the gym wasn't packed.
Positive experience: Friendly people and very friendly staff. BUT the equipment is old, damaged and outdated. Asking for it to be fix, replaced or changed to a better piece of equipment only ever gets ignored by the club manager. It's all about profiting as much as possible for them..
Fantastic experience: Best gym hands down
Positive experience: Atmosphere is ok. Front desk ppl are friendly. Just a bit of feedback: pls consider adding more machines/ replace old ones or lesspopular ones: they are quite busy at peak hour, and it is often hard to complete a workout. Also pls keep an eye for machines out of order or missing "pins."
Fantastic experience: The instructors are excellent, professional and fun. I feel so refreshed and energised every time after the workout there. The only suggestion would be some renovation and deep cleaning of the venue. There are some holes and damages on the walls and ceiling, where electrical cables are exposed and thick dust fluff is around the holes, on the cables, ceiling fans and other places. Other than that, I'm pretty happy with Robina Goodlife in general. :-)
Negative experience: Old equipment, dated bathrooms. Plenty of gyms that offer higher quality
Fantastic experience: Great facilities and price. Group lessons are amazing specially the new Pound class with Di. Loving also the spas, saunas and swimming pool.
Negative experience: I swam at good Life Robina next to varsity tavern Santa Maria drive….the water temperature was very Cold….hope the problem is attended to soon That was so uncomfortable

Negative experience: The equipment is old but still in ok condition however it is always untidy and the PT staff are rude they walk past the mess without care as their only priority is the client that they seem to talk with more than train. The facility itself has unpleasant staff at the front desk and the venue is dirty especially during the covid peak sanitary wipe dispensers were empty bins were overflowing on the floor. For the fee price this is very poor in comparison with other gyms my membership will not be getting renewed.
Positive experience: Friendly staff and some cool unique old Nautilus & hammer strength equipment. While the gym floor and layout received a refurb 3 years ago the facilities and equipment did not receive the same treatment. Which has resulted in a lot of equipment breaking on a weekly basis, the lockers are a lottery in terms of finding one that works & the changing rooms are falling apart and are ill equipped for the number of current members. The club has a great community it’s just a shame the clubs facilities don’t match the membership price.

Negative experience: Terrible service, after 5 years on non attendance to this Gym due to a medical condition and moving house even though I was still paying fees they charge an extra $177 to exit.

Fantastic experience: Here is my updated review (written January 2023), as follows:- I have been coming to Goodlife Health Club at Robina for 3 years. I have progressed from being a reluctant gym-goer to now coming 4 or 5 times a week. I am 73 years young, but always feel welcome and at-home at Robina Goodlife. The front-desk staff are always friendly and helpful. All Personal Trainers I have known have all been easy to talk to, and very knowledgeable. The variety of classes on offer is very extensive. The number of cardio machines available is huge. The number of weight-training machines is also extensive and they are always kept maintained and available for use. The functional training area is also extensive. I write this in the first week of the year and my Personal Trainer will do my weigh-in and measurements this week and I will set my new goals. I am, this week, celebrating the fact that I am again, a size 12 !!! The last time I bought size 12 clothes was before my son was born – and he is now 38 years old! So – I recommend Goodlife Robina, and setting your goals with one of the friendly Personal Trainers here at Robina. _______________________________________________________________ Review January 2022 as follows:- The extensive range of equipment is great and the variety and availability of classes couldn't be better. But the best thing about Robina Goodlife are the people – the reception staff (always so helpful and friendly); the PT's (delivering excellent training to their clients); the group leaders (classes can be challenging or just for enjoyment); and the gym members are friendly and welcoming to newbies. I really appreciate the efforts of the staff to decorate the gym for special events (Christmas, Halloween et cetera) and the group leaders who get their class attendees to dress up in costume to celebrate special events. It's a good life at Robina.

Fantastic experience: I attended Goodlife Gym at Nerang 3 times weekly and have done so for the last 5+ years. From the moment you step inside you are made so welcome by reception, staff throughout the gym and everyone attending. As a Veteran I have the team from Veteran's Health Association looking after my special needs, out of 10 a 12.
