Negative experience: WORST GYM EVER, would not recommend after canceling my gym membership they proceeded to try take money out of my account for months and getting told it’s getting sorted multiple times by staff members and then once I spoke to acting manger he wouldn’t solve the issue and is still trying to steal my money for a membership I don’t even have access to or haven. WORST GYM EVER !!!

Negative experience: I used to like this gym but now I don't. The classes are okay, but the gym is unusable during peak times. And full of gotcha fees.

Fantastic experience: Excellent gym with a creche which is rare unfortunately! Loving the premium membership with Reformer Pilates and Coaching Zone. Energetic vibe in the club and covers all classes and equipment needs. Great replacement to GoodLife who removed their creche.

Fantastic experience: I couldn’t be happier for have found this gym. Great classes, equipment and PT’s, they also have the best creche. There is no better place to go where you can look after your health while someone so kind and beautiful look after your precious children. I highly recommend this gym!

Fantastic experience: A good public gym that is not pretentious and has plenty of equipment that is well maintained and tidy/clean. Peak is busy, but doable and off peak is bliss! Very friendly, helpful floor staff, front desk (especially Shelby) and PT's. Banging price for a local, community feel gym. Also highly recommend Trevor Howes the PT for getting stronger, more mobile and pain free from previous injures. I have been in his small group PT for over 6 months and I have learnt technique, form and mobility that has rehabilitated my ankle (post surgery) and made me the strongest and fittest I have ever been.

Fantastic experience: As a long time gym member I am happy to recommend Genesis Windsor. The facilities, classes and staff are excellent and the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, whatever your fitness level.

Fantastic experience: If you want real results from every day being "Day 1", go to Genesis. This gym doesn't have the most equipment and fancy facilities. But, I value the people. My trainer is professional and is a qualified exercise physiologist getting me fast results, safely. The biophysics of each exercise is explained very well to minimise injury and maximise training effectiveness.

Positive experience: So good set up friendly staff and makes you want more...

Negative experience: Drove by the front of their shop today and was met with many angry gestures and rude comments by one of the staff (note that although we could not hear his actual words as we were in the car, it was pretty obvious by his body language) Apparently, they had blocked off the road as they were washing their fitness equipment. However, there was no proper signage and the single cone they had placed was off to the side of the road, making it unclear that the road had been blocked. Instead of informing us politely, we were told off with the worst customer service i’ve ever seen!

Fantastic experience: Great facilities! Lots of quality equipment. Staff very happy, friendly and helpful. Clean and tidy. Child minding facilities are amazing!!! Will return!

Fantastic experience: I thoroughly enjoy the coaching zone- the coaches, the atmosphere and the vibe is so good -together with the warm greeting from Michelle and Dray as you walk in- a place I’ll definitely recommend to friends and family.

Negative experience: Very unsafe sauna. Members regularly (every time I used it) would cover sensor with wet tissue paper (also a fire hazard) so the outside temp reading was not indicative of how hot the sauna was inside. There is also nowhere to sit in the sauna area, nowhere to refill water bottles and the area is not monitored by staff to make sure people are safe/sauna is being used correctly. Staff were notified on 2/11/2021 and did absolutely nothing to make sauna area safer over a week later. I also had to request that they give me written confirmation of my membership cancellation and no future payments on two occasions and threaten ombudsman action before receiving said confirmation.

Fantastic experience: Great gym offering a fantastic kids club service at a great price. Being new to gyms again after a 15 year break, I found them very helpful and patient. Would recommend.

Positive experience: I find Genesis have everything I need to reach my physical health goals. The gym is always clean and the equipment is new and in good condition.

Fantastic experience: Helpful staff, large gym with plenty of equipment, not intimidating at all. Lots of areas for using alternative equipment for stretching or sled etc. Showers and changing rooms are light and clean. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Great facilities for a reasonable price. I love that it's in my price range for what I'd like to pay for a gym and still has a sauna, steam room and lots of classes for free VIA the app. I've now upgraded my membership to add in the Coaching Zone too, which adds lots of extra clases linked to my MyZone belt. It's quite a big open space so it's great for not feeling crowded, even when there are lots of people in. I also love that there are people there of all fitness levels, so it's great for building a community. Lots of people there are at the beginning of their journey, as well as some with bodies to aspire to!

Fantastic experience: Huge gym with a large variety of cardio machines, strength equipment and group classes. This is the first gym I've joined ever and the staff made me feel so comfortable and welcomed. The reception staff also greeted me often whenever I entered and left the gym which was refreshing. They often have membership deals; I had 2 free personal trainer sessions which were really helpful for identifying my goals and getting into a routine as I was still new to going to the gym. Alicia is such an empathetic and patient personal trainer who taught me the basics and made me more confident with using the equipment. The bathrooms and equipment are clean with wet wipes readily available, they regularly do upgrades, they have AIRCON, you can choose the music and they also have a creche for parents. Overall, a fantastic gym!

Generally staff are friendly and easy going Hygiene is good, sanitiser readily available In general terms I would have no hesitation in recommending this Gym and I have already to my son-in-law he was a member for 3 months during his stay in Brisbane, he was very happy with everything

Negative experience: Don't ever signup to this gym. Shady as people who lied to me several times about the length left on my contract. Originally signed up to Genesis Lawnton on an 18th month contract, I moved house so I decided to continue and finish my contract at Windsor. I was told that the remaining time left on my contract would just finish off at the Windsor location. I go to cancel my membership at the end of this period and it turns out they had put me on an additional 6 month term! I then go to cancel again at the end of the additional 6 months and yet again I can't because they were closed over COVID (which I was never told anywhere). I was then told my contract was set to end in the first week of November. Surprise, I keep getting charged past this date and somehow I have to pay for another additional month?? Legit shadiest bunch of mf out here. Will never recommend Genesis to anyone, ever.

It has such a positive happy vibe, everyone is friendly and they keep updating the facilities and equipment every so often! Plus they have great gym classes for everyone. Negative experience: Very unproffesional customer service and behaviour. "You have only time untill 4 pm to have this offer 16 pw" is a very rude behaviour for a gym brand with few number in Brisbane. You have to know about others gym offer with better customer service. Good luck to bring your customer back after pandemic with this service.

Negative experience: Thought this was a great gym under new ownership until the new owner started instagramming my very attractive recently separated daughter. So not cool Brenton. When do men realise that they have overstepped boundaries by using social media to contact ex clients who have never shown the slightest interest in them?

Fantastic experience: I have nothing but good things to say, you get a big hello as you come in and a goodbye as you leave. The equipment is first class, there are heaps of classes, inc yoga and Pilates. But my class of choice is the Coaching zone. I needed encouragement and inspiration to get a healthy gym habit going and that exactly what I got. The coaches are amazing and I love gaining strength and fitness this way. I've lost centimetres, gained toning and feel the best I have in years. Thanks Genesis.

Staff and members alike are friendly, helpful, understanding and in no way pushy or pretentious, which is a delight! The Coaching Zone that is for offer is a great way to work out - great concept!

Negative experience: The change of attitude when you sign up and when you cancel is absolutely preposterous. Despite following the terms and conditions and having documents to prove, they still took my fortnight payment after the cancellation. When I reached the staff over the phone, they said they will get back to me. After almost a week of waiting, typical sorry this and sorry that.

Fantastic experience: I've been training with Jack Bignell for around 5 months now. He is always friendly, Knowledgeable and relaxing to train with. He is always encouraging and I've made great progress with his support. He can adapt a workout based on how I'm feeling on the day and is very flexible when it comes to scheduling. I highly recommend training with Jack. You'll be very pleased with the results.

Positive experience: The gym is good. They pretty much have everything you need. Treadmills, free weights, targeted machines (for abs, quads, bicep, etc.), stairmaster, pulley machines and more. Gym includes a mixed gender sauna and steam room (only open during staffed hours). Mens changing room/showers are clean, however about 50-60% of the lockers are broken and cannot be locked (or don't even have the doors on them anymore) has been quite a while and not have been fixed. Plenty of parking available. Cannot comment on the personal trainers or the classes they hold as I haven't participated, but I am sure they would be good as are the other parts of the gym which I have used.

Negative experience: The new owner is incredibly rude. He marched in about a year ago, replaced old equipment with different but still second hand equipment ... our new lighting in and unilaterally increased the fees. He has been consistently rude to me, a member of Genesis Windsor for the last 10 years. The gym has gone from a place that was social and fun and filled with happy staff and members to a place where members are treated poorly and everyone is on edge. And do it think for a second that he will let your 12 year old child sit in the waiting area while you work out. That child can not join the gym, is too old for the crèche and is not welcome. The gym is not family or child friendly - which is hard for all the working parents who are trying to squeeze in a workout around their family responsibilities.

Fantastic experience: I'm a beginner, and still only a month in but so far it's been a great place to work out. Plenty of equipment for cardio or weights, as well as classes throughout the week that are included in your subscription. Staff are friendly and keen to help, and personal instructors listen to you and create a plan based on your goals. So far all other other gym goers have been been friendly and polite too. It's open 24/7 so you can workout to your own schedule. Update: 4 months in and would still recommend this gym. My PT, Jack, is friendly, knowledgeable, encouraging and well priced. He is available at pretty much any hour that suits you, morning or evening
