Fantastic experience: Very nice gym facilities!

Positive experience: I would like to rate it ok. Reasons are: 1. Fee is pretty high compared to another gym. 2. Equipments are not properly serviced. Eg. Treadmills 3. Some guys are purposefully dropping weights down heavily when they have chances to do smoothly. No instruction from management regarding this. 4. Some guys are unnecessarily wasting time with machines cheking mobile for long time. No instruction from management regarding this. 5. Some guys are not cleaning machines after their use. No instruction from management regarding this. 6. Only playing songs from a particular community daily and getting headaches hearing it daily. People from different communities are coming in this gym and they don’t want t nhear the same daily.

The 24/7 access is a major highlight, allowing me to fit my workouts into my busy schedules. The staff is absolutely fantastic, they have always been kind and helpful with whatever I needed. Brooke, Felicia have been nothing but amazing. I’ve been to the gym several times, and I decided to sign up my husband, with Abbey, she was amazing at explaining all the perks of being a member again with my husband, she treat us with nothing but respect and kindness. I would say she is an absolutely essential part of the team. Overall, AF Toonie stands out as a great choice for anyone looking to pursue their fitness goals in a convenient and encouraging environment.

Abbey has been fantastic in helping me with my fitness goals, providing great workout tips and encouragement every step of the way. Negative experience: It’s a shame that such a nice facility is dragged down by such poor management. Recently I’ve had an experience with Felicia that was nothing but disappointing. She was stand-offish and incredibly unprofessional. There was no need for her to act in such a way. It’s is a testament to her immature character and poor leadership skills.

Negative experience: The managers treat the staff with no respect For a gym that promotes well being they want staff to work outside of their rostered hours and roster them for their own convenience so the managers can leave early and expect them to work when very unwell and infectious. Very toxic environment if you are not in the click. I do not recommend this gym they care more about the $$$$ than people Being at a gym is about community and caring these managers don’t care

Negative experience: I just happened to pass by this place today and went to use the restroom. Because of the location of the store, my Telstra had no signal. I asked the clerk about AF’s wifi, but the wifi was fake and couldn’t be used at all. How could I work out in one place for 2 hours without getting any internet connection? Is it a desert? They are not friendly to customers at all. After asking, I felt like I was being picked on by the clerk. He immediately made an excuse for me not bringing a towel (I had brought a towel that day) and tried to take the opportunity to kick me out of the gym (even before there was a network problem. Before solving it, they were casual and immediately checked whether I complied with the regulations) and not everyone brought towels at the same time. And I found that there were not many employees in this room. The employee network was also working, but it was not working for members. It was a very bad experience. This is a gym with no internet or wifi (I use Telstra) 今天只是偶爾路過這間 進去使用廁所 因為店的地理位置 我的telstra沒有訊號 詢問了店員AF的wifi 但這個wifi是假的 根本不能使用 我如何在一個地方健身2小時 卻沒有辦法得到任何網路 這邊是荒漠嗎 根本對客人不友善 詢問了以後又像是被店員找碴 馬上找 我身上沒帶毛巾的藉口（當天我有帶毛巾）想借機把我趕出健身房 （甚至在網路問題尚未解決之前 隨便敷衍 並馬上看我是否有符合規定） 並且同一時間並不是所有人都有帶毛巾 而且我發現到這間的員工並不少 員工網路也在運作 但就是會員的不行 很差的體驗 這是一間沒有網路也沒wifi的健身房(我使用Telstra) 真的怕人用就不要開在收訊差的地方 並不是只有我有這個問題 其他收訊好的店 沒有wifi我能接受 至少能讓我聯繫人 而不是沒網路連wifi都不給 噁心人

Fantastic experience: I've been coming to Anytime Fitness Toongabbie for about a year now. The equipment is mostly always in order and clean, and although I don't talk to the office staff often they always seem friendly. After work the gym is quite busy so an upsize would be good, but I know that's a big task! Since I started at this gym I've been with their PT, Anthony. I had a lot of gym anxiety and didn't particularly find the gym a fun space to be, but Anthony has made me feel more welcomed in the gym and taught me so much about weightlifting. As a woman, I was initially worried about having a male trainer, but he made me feel so comfortable and is always super professional. Since beginning working out, my goals have changed and Anthony is always super receptive to my feedback and needs. It's been really helpful to have someone who is flexible and listens to my needs. Outside of our sessions, I usually also attend his weightlifting class on Monday evenings. This has been a great way for me to interact with other people in the gym without feeling intimidated, and learn more weightlifting techniques. In these classes, Anthony is always interacting with everyone and ensuring that we're lifting safety and with good form. I'm not sure if there are any other trainers at this gym. I've seen someone who I thought was a trainer, but he wasn't wearing the same AF branded clothes so I'm too sure. Either way, I'd recommend this gym if you're looking for a good community, and I'd recommend Anthony to anyone who is interested in a PT (seems like he tailors his plans to each client's needs/capabilities - he went through a very thorough initial consultation with me). Thanks to Anthony, I've gone from going to the gym only during our PT sessions to multiple times a week! Very thankful to Anthony, and to the other gym staff, for helping me grow and achieve my goals Sorry for the long review, just wanted to share my experience!

Negative experience: They don’t know how to behave with the client politely , other than that everything is fine . You are right , I don’t have the towel . I have explained you I was not there for training but was there to help my friend. You shouldn’t ask me why I am there if not training. It’s my personal choice why I was there . Why you are trying to improve the review by forcing the client to review your gym by giving a towel with free of cost . Ask everyone to stop training if they don’t have towel or ask them to don’t touch the equipment. That’s fare enough. I am paying so I have the rights to visit the gym even if I am not training. Be polite please

Negative experience: Avoid this gym center at any cost, They change my membership without any my consent not only that they increasing the price from $22 to $26? Pleaseee $26? I better keep my fitnessfirst membership with lower price and full of equipment and facilities. Lesson learned.

Fantastic experience: Clean gym.. joined recently and am happy with the overall experience.

Negative experience: Had horrible experience with the Gym. Initially took the membership for 3 months with a condition to notify in month advance if i wish to cancel the membership. Served the notice period in advance. Then at end lady called and asked for freezing option for 3 months without any cost. Here comes the trick. They want to serve the notice period of one month if you want to terminate membership after freeze which was not mentioned while providing options. Isn’t it Amazing!!!!! Everything is part and parcel of policy.

Negative experience: I had the worst experience of my life with this gym branch, a lady named brook is so unprofessional and rude, she won’t even let you speak. When you go to join their gym they are so nice and when you ask them to cancel the membership they become rude. A free suggestion to everyone wants to join this branch please be very well aware that they are only nice when you want to join. I had injury two years back ( not in the gym ) and till today I was paying them membership fee even though I wasn’t able to go to gym and finally I decided to move back home permanently and asked them to cancel the membership which offended the management staff especially Brook, In these two years of my injury they never made a single call or email to ask that why m not coming to gym or is everything alright. They are only after your money. That’s all.

Positive experience: The staff are very helpful and welcoming. Sadly, the gym itself is declining rapidly, especially with the volume of people who visit everyday. It needs a good clean and quite a few pieces of equipment need a good overhaul. Hand pieces should not be broken for months on end.

Negative experience: This gymnasium was once my go to. Now there is very little equipment to cover the thousands that go here. They must either stop signing up more people or renovate making the gym bigger. Damaged equipment is something else I've noticed. Even the weighing scale is falling apart. For the $20 they charge you every week, you'd expect equipment and facilities to be up to the mark but they failed miserably to keep that up. Absolutely pathetic.

Negative experience: Machine are old and take months to repair. Staff is nice.

Negative experience: This gym use to be great until new mangement took over, I cancelled my membership awhile ago after 2 and a half years as I gave brooke cash for payment and it just didn't come out of my bill there should have been an extra 11.10$ credited to my next bill witch never happen I cancelled my membership over this and there still trying to charge me, iv been into the gym to try and sort this issue out yet couldn't be helped because brooke wasn't there. Then got a email saying they I'll wipe the bill yet there still trying to take money. Can't believe it to be honest.

Negative experience: Righto. Let's get started. Let me give an unbias view of the truth so all customers and management are aware of how the show is run. Its a popular gym with a lot of equipment and is aways busy. It's easy to access in toongabbie.thats where it ends. Now let's get onto the negatives: (I) it's not exactly a library membership customers pay for. Most people are paying at least $1000 per year. For that you get arrogant constipated vocational student staff who are unprofessional and uncourteous. No outgoing or customer focused attitude. When they call you dont even address you by your name! Just think for a second, which place do you go to where after paying a large sum of money, staff behave like this? (ii) they called me a few days later after joining to ask how my experience was. I told them about a work health and safety issue with regards to the sanitiser bottles being stored on an a metal bracket with an exposed sharp edge with the potential to cut your finger. They told me over the phone they'd take action by informing the owner and taping the Sharp edges. A week later, there has been no change. What's the point of making a phone call if you don't take any action? Just a pretend job exercise in my opinion to make it seem staff are busy doing work. (III) sanitiser liquid is diluted and there is a general lack of hand sanitizer across the gym. It shows they're willing to cut costs in the name of profit. Seriously how much is a few bottles of hand sanitizer? Why use a diluted or watered down version? (Iv) selected members of this gym continually use equipment in an unfair manner. They leave their bag and towel on the gym as of they are marking their territory. In this way they prevent others from using equipment. Its not first come first. Its who ever marks their territory. (iv) staff do not reprimand members who fail to wipe down equipment. It becomes an unhygienic environment,which members pay a premium for. Overall it seems to be a mixed experience.

Fantastic experience: Toongabbie, Anytime fitness recently moved to the bigger place. The new place is quite spacious. I started going to Toongabie AF just after COVID, I used to go to Quakers Hill AF before. Their staff members are very proactive and efficient. I recently had some issue with my membership and that was sorted in just few hours. I really appreciate how presentable they are and it's like a one big supportive fam!! I would definitely recommend this location of AF.

Fantastic experience: The equipment isn't that new, the gym is good enough and has ample and free parking, easy access to the gym and it's close to the parking spots. The gym can be quite crowded however but anytime fitness is great

Fantastic experience: The gym itself is very convenient to get too from where I live so it doesn't leave me an excuse not to go. My only issue is that some of the patrons are bit too lazy to put the plates back in the correct spot after use. Also a lack of wipe downs, it's pretty disgusting of someone not to wipe down the equipment after use. Other than that it's a good gym to go to. I recommend going during their quiter times if you want to avoid large amount of people and get your workout done.

Negative experience: I visit a few Anytime’s in the area and Toongabbie was one of my favourites as it was always clean and the girls I always saw when I went in during staffed hours were always nice and helpful to me. On my last few visits I am finding it to feel very dirty and like it’s not being looked after. The bathrooms have smelt bad! There has been no wipes or paper towel to wipe down the equipment and there has been broken equipment as well. It was a relief to finally see the PT (I think her name is Bobby?) on my last visit as she has always been approachable and nice to talk to. I really hope it goes back to how it was as I no longer want to come to Toongabbie because of how it’s changed.

Negative experience: Worst customer service I've ever had in my life from the staff. As soon as I arrived I've never get any "Hi" - "Welcone" - "How can we help you". The lady there never introduced herself, but I've heard from someone else calling her "Dani." The vibes there are very unwelcome. She pretended to get my personal details before showing me the gym. I filled up a piece of paper with basic information, but she wasn't happy with the information that I provided, then decided to say, "Sorry, I can't show you the gym." We're 4 of us new in this town, and I was in charge of getting info from the gym to join and became a members, but after this issue, we're going to look somewhere else. Good luck.

Positive experience: Nice new gym. Only thing to suggest is swap out the spray bottles for more wipes instead. Like Pemulway only uses the wipes. Due to hygiene it is unhygienic to touch the spray bottles when another has. Especially with spicy cough still around these days if you get what I mean. Wipes are just more hygienic.

Negative experience: Not having month to month membership isn't ideal but workable. Hiding your monthly fees To the point where price cannot be discussed over the is ugly. By the way my review isn't about cost its. $5 more or less won't hurt anyone. about the attitude of a business can tell you a lot about the organization. You push so hard for a sale they end up at the exit door.

Negative experience: My friend is a member at this gym and we train together on Wednesday, we have done this a bunch of times with very little issues, but on this particular Wednesday afternoon we had another mate joining us to train, when i turned my mate was in a heated discussion with the staff member about him needing a towel to train in the gym witch is perfectly fine, he stated that he did not have one and pointed out that there was other people in the gym that did not have a towel with them i could also see this also, at that point i said you can just use mine and she said no you need your own, so i went to my car to get a towel i had in the car to use for swimming later that evening but stated that i never put my towels on any machine because people never wipe the machine down and did not want my clear towels i use to either wipe my own sweet or dry myself with as it will then be dirty and i want to use it. (I would like to state that i always wipe down after i use any equipment with the provided wipes or spray.) The staff member then said you must put your towel on the equipment if you want to train here, i then stated and pointed out about 6 people in the gym that never had their towel on the equipment hence my point. I tried to explain to the staff member that she was been unreasonable and very confronting with her demands witch i found to be wrong, and that wiping down equipment with the provided wipes was much cleaner then putting peoples dirty towels they use to not only wipe there own sweet with but also all the other sweet from the un clean equipment was ridiculous. The staff member then said that we need to leave i state that i would not leave until i spoke with a manager witch she stated she was the manager and if we did not leave she would call the police. WOW would be close to one of the worst encounters ever, my advice is to never go to this gym or any anytime fitness gyms.

Fantastic experience: The staff is great, and the space is good, and there are enough equipments to keep yourself busy.

Negative experience: I"m not a member of the club so my complaint is regarding how business is conducted. I wanted to join a local gym. I ranged them up and asked about fees and conditions of membership which they said they do not give information over the phone, fair enough. When I went there to speak face to face to get some information they handed me a form to fill out. I said I am here to see your gym and ask for some information. I also said I am not sure if I am going to join the gym so I didn't want to give my information and the lady said they don't provide any information without getting the form filled. Is this how you join a gym nowadays? You have to fill out a form before you can get information?

Fantastic experience: Wish I could give them more! I've been a member of AF for almost 2 years, however I've only recently started going to Toongabbie AF since lockdown has lifted! I have to say it's smaller then my old location (previous location was riverstone) which I was skeptical about at first but it's the staff and the amazing customers that keep me coming back to the locations, all the staff are so lovely and I really appreciate how present they are on the floor, every person I've met when I have been there during staffed hours are so so lovely, the people in general are so nice it's definitely like one big supportive fam! I see staff and customers regularly following Covid safety measures which makes me feel like little bit safer.
