Fantastic experience: I just signed up and am only beginning my GFFL journey, and I can't help but share my onboarding experience. I have lived in the area for 14 years and have walked past the gym on hundreds of occasions, as I am a dedicated dog mama who walks her dogs in the early hours. I have also been a long-time, inaugural member of Revo, and most recently Snap. The moment I stepped foot into GFFL, I felt like I had arrived! Dean, the owner, was on-site to meet me and talk me through the membership options, terms & conditions, expectations, building access, etc. I felt a sense of community that I had been missing at the commercial gyms around the corner. Dean is the nicest guy, and his dedication to his work and clients is evident in the way he speaks about the business he has established. There's something to be said about a human who brings his 16-year-old deaf and blind pooch to work. I found Dean's positive vibes infectious and am excited to re-ignite my inner "Arnie" (female version). Let's do this

Negative experience: My wife and I usually don’t leave poor reviews, but unfortunately we just felt others should know the experience we had here. Please read the reviews for both the North Perth and Mirrabooka gyms. We wish we had read the other reviews first before joining, as there appears to be recurrent issues with the Owners conduct and financial fees/deductions. Also, there are some issues with the gym like people having to fill their water bottles from a hand wash basin. We’re really glad people shared their experiences, as we thought it was just us. So sad for our community Ps: We do apologise for having to leave this review, and nicely ask that the Owner please does not attack us like he has done to other reviewers, we’re only trying to share our experience to help others.

Negative experience: Popped in here whilst I was sight-seeing around Perth since recently relocating. I had previously had a poor experience at the north Perth location of GFFL. I thought I would try this location and to my utter surprise it was the same rude, dismissive manager I had dealt with in the past. I couldn’t have left any quicker! I also saw the manager instructing some poor lady on how to execute a lateral raise and he was flapping around like an absolute galah - horrible form!

Negative experience: I wish i could give a zero this guy charged me an extra $22 for no reason, one of the most greediest man ive ever seen all this guy wants is money avoid this gym, go to a diff one, i dont want an apology dean i want the ppl to know what a greedy person you are

Negative experience: Restrictions on what workouts you can do and equipment you can use. Limited/few trainers available and classes unreliable. Would not recommend

Negative experience: Owner/ manager has no sense to talk to gym users. Bit arrogant. Avoid this gym and use any other.

Fantastic experience: I really enjoy this gym, it is clean and has a nice range of equipment. Dean the Owner is a wonderful person and is happy to help anyone out.

Positive experience: Alright gym but the guy running it is as greedy as they come. Tried to sell us on some plan being cheaper because we pay with cash but it wound up being the exact same price.

Fantastic experience: Get Fit For Life or what a lot of people call it 'Dean's Gym' is a fantastic, family feel gym that is full of great people and prices. The owner of the gym (Dean), is enthusiastic as can get and loves helping his clients and fellow gym members with determination to GET FIT!! Dean's Gym is what I call a 2 Fruit 5 Veg gym as it is just your local, authentic, fresh produce of a gym unlike Jetts, Goodlife and Revo which I call 'Fast Food Gyms' as they are terrible plastic franchises that just don't have that family feel that Dean's Gym radiates. So to all those muppets that have been slagging off Dean's Gym on here I hope you enjoy your Fast Food!

Negative experience: The manager (I believe) was unwelcoming and she was quite rude. I have joined Jetts instead and I wont be back.

Fantastic experience: I've been a member since Dean opened the gym. The trainers have always been very helpful and encouraging. It's a great place to workout.

Fantastic experience: Very well equipped gym with 24 hr access. There is also a separate strength training room for those who are into the really heavy weights. Friendly staff, led by Dean the owner, friendly members.
