Negative experience: Waste of time and money. Honestly such terrible service, they do not care for you, you are just another number. I signed up and no one showed me around the gym. Awful service and communication with the opening of the Pilates studio, delayed for weeks with no notice, only for them to be stiff, cheap feeling machines where the self guided screen don’t even work. The 3 weeks I was there, there were countless changes to the gym, the machines moving every other day. I could never find consistency. Up until the last moments of me cancelling my membership it was painful. I was told complete nonsense I’d have to pay an additional month when that was not stated in my contract. They have zero communication with each other, a terribly ran business

Negative experience: I did not mind the actual facilities. It was a gym, enough decent equipment for all needs. I only had a one month membership to try the gym while my usual gym was renovating. Was $100 for the month, fair enough, but then I also was asked to pay a deposit for a RFDI tag, no problem or so I thought. When the month was up I was not able to get my $50 deposit back when I returned the RFDI. Apparently, although it’s not stated in the contract, this was a NON REFUNDABLE deposit. It’s $50 so no big deal but the lack of transparency and honesty around this is very disappointing and frustrating. It makes me wonder how Worlds go about their business, In decades of going to gyms I’ve never not had a key deposit returned upon return of the key. Mind you now days it’s rare to be asked for a RFDI deposit. Please don’t bother with the same reply that it is your policy to retain deposits for key tags and for creating an account (sign up). If it’s your policy, MAKE IT CLEAR BOTH IN PERSON AND IN YOUR CONTRACT. In response to your response below: As I have previously informed you, At NO TIME was it explained that you would be charging me $50 sign up fee, or for a RFDI tag. This $50 fee was tagged on as a deposit for an RFDI tag after I had agreed to the one month membership fee. It was not made clear at any point by any of your staff that this was a non refundable deposit. It is not a deposit, it is a fee! If you are so transparent why call it a deposit? You have a $50 sign up fee that includes an entry tag. Obviously you can’t enter the gym without one so… calling it a deposit is highly misleading and NOT transparent.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re glad to hear that you found the gym facilities and equipment satisfactory during your time with us. However, we sincerely apologise for the frustration caused by the issue surrounding the payment for your key tag. We understand how important transparency is, and we regret that the non-refundable nature of purchasing the key tag was not made clear to you at the time of sign-up or in the contract. Once key tags are assigned to a person, unfortunately we cannot reuse them for another member. While our membership consultant is adamant that this was addressed with you, we completely agree that this should have been communicated more effectively. Your feedback is invaluable, and we are already ensuring that our team follow our processes to ensure that all terms and conditions, including payment policies, are communicated clearly both verbally and in writing during sign-up. We want to avoid any misunderstandings in the future and provide a seamless experience for our members.

Negative experience: “I’m disappointed with this gym. The equipment is often broken or out of service, which makes it hard to get a proper workout - specifically treadmills (months…), batteries not replaced in rowers, ergs and air bikes. The air conditioning seems to barely work, leaving the place hot and uncomfortable. Hygiene standards are low—some areas don’t seem to get cleaned properly - changing areas and sauna in particular. On top of all this, customer service is poor and when issues are raised the management don’t follow up. Staff aren’t helpful or attentive, and it feels like they don’t care about member satisfaction. For the high membership fees compared to some other gyms, I expect way better quality and service.”

Hi Steve! Thanks for taking the time to leave your feedback. I understand that the situation with the treadmills is frustrating - bare with us! Replacement parts have been ordered, and the moment they arrive with our technicians they will be in club to fix them! There are notices on all the treadmills and around the club to keep our members up to date with the status of the maintenance. We did also have our aircons break down on us unfortunately, but again, don't fret, one is back up and running and the other unit is due to have parts replaced this week! We understand that these are two big aspects of a gym so it can really affect your workout - so we appreciate your understand and patience. We are looking into solutions for the male sauna as unfortunately that one in particular is continually mistreated - we are looking at ways to increase it's continual cleanliness and durability. Again, we appreciate your feedback, and as the Club Manager I am always open to hearing our members feedback. Negative experience: I've been around gyms for almost 25 years. I'd like to be able to recommend this gym as I used to but there are a few things that let it down. 1: Months of ongoing issues with treadmills that overheat after about 15 minutes of jogging. 2: Reverse cycle airconditioning that's either broken, slow to be repaired or not even running. 3: Not enough basic equipment such as leg extensions, fly machines, adjustable benches etc. It felt as humid as Bali & smelt like a stale locker room in the gym tonight. This gym used to be decent in the beginning. The air-conditioning was one of the main reasons I joined. If they can't rectify these issues, I'll be going elsewhere & recommending others do the same.

We do have a couple issues we are working through so thanks for your patience with us. whilst we worked on a solution with the treadmills. The treadmills have been frustrating for us too! We have had the company out to fix the issue multiple times and we have received a further plan to get this resolved, we anticipate the treadmills to have no errors once new parts arrive in the next couple of weeks. We also understand the aircon has been an issue, there was a fault in the system which led to it not operating properly but we are getting it sorted and should be operating at 100% capacity shortly. Good news for the equipment too - more is on the way! We have had this in the works for a while, but more equipment is due at the start of next month! I appreciate you taking the time to provide your feedback and encourage you to do so again in the future if anything else is of concern. Keep an eye out for these changes in the coming weeks!

Fantastic experience: Fantastic place one of the only gyms around that doesn’t smell like feet and the instructors here are fantastic and know what they are doing and probably the only gym that provides protein shakes at a little cafe area

Negative experience: My daughters literally fighting for her life in hospital and I couldn't even get them to put her account on hold. would only do two weeks for free, she'll have months of rehab! Not like she sprained her ankle and we just go get a certificate. Total predators. Would give 0 but it won't let me.

Fantastic experience: Have trained at many gyms over the years and Worlds by far has the latest best range of both weight and cardio equipment as well as supplements. Also the staff are all friendly and very helpful

Fantastic experience: Everyone at the club is very welcoming. The crèche facilities are amazing, the women there are awesome my kids love them. One of the PTs John is also awesome, very knowledgeable and friendly. The girls at reception are always very helpful if you need anything and the shakes are top notch! Would highly recommend.

Negative experience: Wow the girl behind the counter clearly has zero idea what customer service is or looks like. I was told to drop in and see a DVA exercise physiologist from Pivot there and she refused to go see if she was available because she didn't know her schedule or if she was with someone currently. So too bloody lazy to check on my behalf and told to make an appointment though I didn't know her details etc. I simply walked out no wonder gyms lose people they've lost me now as I would have looked at joining for more time . Well done total incompetents. To the Manager who responded, read my review she had no idea if she was with someone or her schedule so in other words no idea if occupied or not. To have gone to look or ask if they had time to speak to me as I was looking to start there would have been the correct action not turned away because of laziness and attitude.
