Negative experience: Place is a glorified Macca's playhouse with the kids running around and even worse experience trying to cancel. Made the trip in and filled out the form, only to find it was "lost" and I have been charged still for the last 4 months or so. Spend a little more people and get more somewhere else

Negative experience: This gym is without working toilets for more than 3-4 weeks and staff has no information when toilets going to work, working out and drinking lot of water can be super dangerous for your health because you can’t pee. This is stupidity and staff is super rude every time you try to talk to them. Canceling my membership today after waited for 4 weeks By the way when i was canceling membership with JESSICA she was super rude and warned me leave the premises. Hope owner see this review and resolve the matter asap.

Fantastic experience: I have LOVED my time at Planet Fitness Morayfield! The staff, including gems like Kez and others (I’m so sorry I don’t have your names!) were brilliant: Helpful, courteous, friendly, non-judgemental, effortlessly AH-mazing! I also learned so much from my fellow gym attendees by simply sharing space, equipment and the experience alongside them. The discipline of attending in a diverse group environment fueled a new, healthy relationship with my body. When/if the time ever comes for me to return to a gym, I’m heading here first.

Fantastic experience: THE BEST GYM IN NORTH BRISBANE !!!!!!! As someone who has attended gym for the last 15 plus years consistently I just had to be honest with my review, As someone who owns and runs coffee shop franchises I understand the requirement for immaculate customer service, any organisation that can find a great balance between people and policy is great, and it starts at the top (leadership) I love coming to planet fitness I come here every morning and I am welcomed by laughs and encouragement from the staff, Jo has me in stitches before I train, the way she includes everyone also is to be admired There is no judgment in the gym and the equipment is always in great condition, the leadership here is great, To be honest I was only going to be at planet fitness temporarily, but I have fallen in love with the environment thanks to the team here, I have been to other planet fitness franchises but I come back here for Jo and the Team Amazing amazing amazing and the fact that I can bring my youth clients as a support worker on my black card for a work out is just amazing, To get this service for the price you pay also for the gym is insane ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Negative experience: Ive just joined, Nice big gym with great equipment, absolutely love it so far! unfortunately "some" of the staff are very impolite to deal with (especially the "old lady manager" and the larger set lady at the reception) on not just 1 occasion, whom I think are a bad representation to the planet fitness organisation an tbh it has been crushing my spirit and motivation to go back, affraid im gonna get attacked again which ruins my session each time. I know I approached them with respect and was very polite each time, so I feel this is very unjust and like I've been discriminated against coming at me each time that they did over nonsense with there facts wrong not even asking what actually happened. I feel this is just cause my face got smashed up in an accident recently and im not real pretty to look at rn so they feel it's OK to approach me like I'm scum. This might sound dramatic but i have extremely bad ptsd from some very traumatic experiences, so this is actually really difficult for me to type now, even to get myself to go is a tough enough journey within itself atm. IV gone to many gyms as a professional competor all my life and have never ONCE experienced the ignorance from any staff member in any of the gyms like the 2 staff mentioned. Hence me writing my first ever bad review, of any place EVER for that matter. If the manager is unprofessional i dont know who else i can talk to about it. Sad fact is cause of my ptsd id never be abl3 to "approach" some one either. Looks like they were clearly just hired from a job agency with no idea about the industry and clearly no experience which is dangerous.

Fantastic experience: Started coming here and love it! Staff are so friendly and welcoming. Big shoutout to Zayne (sorry for spelling) as he just goes above and beyond for everyone. He gave my friend and I a tour of the gym, showed us all the equipment and made sure to answer any questions we had thoroughly. He always seems genuinely interested in interacting with people, not just doing it because it’s his job! I’ve seen him interact with other people as well and he’s so friendly and amazing and honestly deserves a raise. Wide variety of equipment to use, very engaging music. Would recommend to everyone.

Negative experience: Black hole of doom trying to cancel with these guys. Spoken to 3 different people that work here with 3 different answers. Have to email to cancel (can't call, and email is hidden on website) and then they don't even check it and keep charging you. Headache.

Negative experience: I moved to Buderim at the beginning of November, I was unable to go into the GYM to fill in a form to cancel my membership as I live 45 minutes away. My account has been charged 4 times since and they refuse to refund my money - absolute rip off and disgusting behaviour from the management. They have only cancelled the debits on 22nd January, my attempt to cancel the membership was on 22nd November

Negative experience: I've been trying to cancel my membership for 9 months now, I have filled out the form 5 times and been in to speak to them 7 times every time being told the staff member didn't have the capability to cancel my membership but had noted my intentions on my file and would have a manager call me. No manager has ever called me and still to this date am being billed for my membership even though I had an accident and was left with a broken back and damaged leg and hand and can not really train at all hence why I want my membership cancelled but no matter how hard I try, they won't cancel it. Apart from all that, the gym is great, the facilities are great and it's always been clean and friendly when I've been there. YOU JUST CAN NEVER LEAVE!!!!

Fantastic experience: Clean friendly environment. Loads of equipment to choose from and hardly a long wait if the gym is busy. One or 2 pieces of equipment lacking for certain exercises. Price very good comparing others and if you a black card member other facilities like spray tan booth massage chairs etc. Added bonus. Black card members can take someone with free of charge every time if they like.

Negative experience: One of the staff this morning an old woman holding the vacuum is looking at this couple on the treadmill in very very judgemental way. You advertise as judgement free zone, the staff better know one of the company slogan.

Negative experience: Cancelled membership two years ago, realised today they've still been direct debiting from my account after looking at bank statements. "No evidence of trying to cancel" so they're not willing to re-emburse anything even though they can see i havent scanned my card for over two years. Staff I dealt with when cancelling are no longer working there either.. terrible business practice. EDIT: have emailed and heard no response..

Positive experience: Decent gym which has a large variety of machines. Sadly, not a very large number of free weights and it is extremely packed just after work. Overall decent value for money though.

Positive experience: Staffed hours are 5am - 10pm weekdays and 9am to 5pm on weekends Great place to workout and friendly staff only downside I’ve experienced is my stuff has been stuck in the lockers multiple times even during unstaffed hours and have had to catch a train home

Fantastic experience: I moved to a place that doesnt have a planet fitness and the idea of going to gym now isnt the same. I would highly recommend planet fitness to anyone wanting to get into gym. Fantastic experience: Planet Fitness is my favourite gym I’ve ever been to, and it just happens to be the cheapest. Over the past 3 years I have been a member of 4 different gyms. By far my favourite is Planet Fitness. The other ones preach being part of a family, but I’ve felt the greatest sense of belonging, comfort and success at Planet Fitness. The staff are lovely, the people working out are non judgement and mostly keep to themselves but willing to help whenever I asked. I loved the valentines special of the massage chairs, and free pizza nights.

Negative experience: Disappointing payment experience In January, I briefly cancelled my membership and was asked to pay for 4 weeks of overdue fees. However, I had invited a friend to join and should have received a two-week reward. The clerk said that the manager would help me with the reward and register it in my account. But in the end, I did not receive the two-week reward until I realized that I had not received the reward when I cancelled my membership and paid. I raised this issue and could even provide my friend’s name and phone number. Unfortunately, the clerk could not help me solve the problem and I could not prove that the clerk had informed me about registering for the reward. In the end, I had to give up the two-week reward and pay all the fees. In April, when I wanted to rejoin as a member, the clerk said that I had to pay for past overdue fees. My friend and I were both surprised because he was next to me when I cancelled my membership in January and he saw me raise the issue and finally pay. And now I have to pay for the same fees again. The clerk asked me to provide proof of payment but I couldn’t because I used a COLES MASTER GIFT CARD to pay at that time. When the balance on that card was used up, the card was discarded and I couldn’t find any proof. So I paid again. I am very grateful to the staff for trying hard to help me but unfortunately they were powerless in the end. I know it’s not a big deal and even the amount is not very large but encountering this kind of problem twice when paying is really troublesome. I don’t want to spend more time solving this problem. In short, a reminder to those who see this review Although I have recommended many people to come here to exercise, now I am looking for other gyms.

Negative experience: Myself and my son had been to the gym for a few months.. he could come with me as a visitor as per membership. Now, I had an emergency surgery performed three weeks ago leaving me unable to do any gym activity for a few months. My son was refused straight away to attend the gym on same membership. He is 15yr old but very well aware about the gym ettiquates and the safe use of equipments. All I tried to do was to drop him and pass my time around the vicinity and shops around while him finishing his workout. The lady not willing to hear anything about my situation appeared not at all interested in finding a mid-way solution or offer any at all. Those looks, body language and attitude was appalling instantly prompting me to get the membership cancelled. Which was instantly done by that lady visibly interested in seeing us gone for good. If myself and my son are considered a family, how come a family oriented gym receptionist can be there with no interest in even ready to listen to my situation and work around it ?

Fantastic experience: Have just started the classes, and Skye is such an asset your business. She is warm, welcoming and encouraging to everyone. Her positive attitude and friendly nature takes away the intimidation sometimes felt in a group class. Skye encapsulates the "judgement free" "you belong" branding.

Negative experience: Update 21-12-2023: Whilst I standby my previous review, unfortunately the current state of the gym means I am having to edit my review as I do not know if I can recommend this gym any longer. In the 2 years I have been at the gym, there has been a clear deterioration of the gym. The males urinals are constantly out of order, the water fountains the same (or if they do work the flow is beyond slow), The battle rope has been "about to be replaced for 8 Months", the resistance bands are almost all gone. It seems that once a gym is up and running, there is no investment in them to keep them to a decent standard or replacing equipment as they age. This review should not reflect on the staff who are always helpful and welcoming. Great value gym. For $10 a week you get great quality equipment, and the ability to bring a family member or friend, and use of message chairs. If you are serious about weights then this gym may not be for you as whilst the weights selection is good, it's not as good as you may get from a gym like World Gym.

Fantastic experience: really great gym spesh if you’re looking for somewhere to do your own thing without feeling self conscious. staff are fab, friendly and always willing to help. it’s such a nice, non judgemental environment to train in, that in itself is motivating and confidence building. highly recommend to anyone who is a gym novice like me.

Fantastic experience: Just wonderful. Fun, clean and, by far, the best gym with the nicest people around! They even check in after sign up to see how you are enjoying the facilities. And, oh wow, brilliant facilities!! Hydro and massage chairs, tanning booths and more. This place is amazing. Did I mention how friendly the staff are?? Positive experience: I think they make costs cheaper by using equipment that is less likely to cause injury and removing a lot of free weights/squat racks etc. but overall it’s a great place to get your basic strength training & cardio in.

Positive experience: It's ok but the equipment is practically all machines. Definitely avoid 3pm to 8pm as it's is impossible to get on any equipment during these times.

Negative experience: I joined Planet Fitness Morayfield mid-this year, 2022, as part of the recovery process from a workplace injury, which incorporates “Exercise Physiology” as ongoing treatment; however, due to the inhospitable atmosphere, I decided to cancel membership and go elsewhere to continue the recovery process. I have been to this gym thrice weekly and experienced appalling, unprofessional and judgemental behaviour by male and female staff members towards new and ethnic members whom they do not tolerate in the gym even though the big slogan on the wall states,” no critique you belong”, is an absolute contrary, repulsive and travesty. They are the precise people taking your money and are supposed to be ethical towards members of all walks of life. However, destroying members’ confidence seems to be their main pleasure, leading to numerous membership cancellations recently, and I believe many more will follow. If anyone is considering signing up, consider doing so, as these reviews are not misleading accusations but are authored due to the negative experiences in that gym. I hope the management takes note of these unflattering evaluations and saves face.

Negative experience: Personally wouldn’t recommend this gym, I only go here with a friend of mine because she lives closer to here rather than travelling from morayfield to rothwell, but after the past few times I’ve gone here I would rather travel further. This gym is suppose to be judgement free but it’s not, not even 10 mins of being there first, my friend and I had already witnessed girls talking about us and eyeing us off, then halfway through our exercise getting off a machine, girl approached us telling us we are suppose to wipe down the equipment - didn’t even give us chance to wipe them down, then proceeded to eye us off and stare us down the whole night. As finishing up then wanting to use hydro massage chairs, dealt with another judging person thinking we stole their massage chairs when we were there first? And this gym is so over populated with people all day unless obviously you come here around midnight. This gym doesn’t sit right with me, gives me major anxiety. Even when my friend brought a friend of hers (who isn’t a member here) to try it out tonight they left within 10 mins of being there cause they felt the same too

Negative experience: Morayfield club ha yeah Well, AlI can say is what an Absolutely disgusting club… the way that the staff/ so called manager spoke to me was nothing but appalling.. i was told by the manager, we don’t want members like you.. wow okay How very professional of you… More to the point I don’t want to be apart of a club that has team members of that standard.. This is from their website, it definitely isn’t followed: Welcome to Planet Fitness. The Judgement Free Zone® (pretty sure I was being judged with that comment). Needless to say I will never step foot into another one of their gyms.

Negative experience: Horrible gym, went a hand full of times but my workouts were interrupted multiple times every time I went, apparently me making noise with accidental clanks was way worse then the people around me who weren't being interrupted ... waste of money

It's always super clean and have amazing showers and for the price you pay the membership is definitely worth the money. Love Planet fitness. We're else you gonna get a $5 membership

Fantastic experience: I've been to all different types of gyms, from the high priced fancy ones to the low price local ones. And even though they all preach the "we don't judge here, everyone is welcome". Planet Fitness is the first gym that I ACTUALLY feel confident in. I don't know what it is, but I don't feel insecure about my body when I'm at the gym, because just like everyone else there, I'm trying to rid myself of those insecurities. The staff are always so kind and jump into action straight away if you need ANYTHING. The equipment is all new, the hygiene is pristine, things are always put away. Definitely the best gym I've been to!

And I was very impressed with the custom service of the staff there, there are plenty of modern and easy to use machines and weights, the place was super clean and welcoming. I will be joining this Gym. It is much nicer then any other Gym I have used.

Negative experience: I sent an email and a message on facebook enquiring about vaccination restrictions over 2 days now and have also tried calling them numerous times over the past week to find out. always been happy with the gym and the staff there however this has changed my mind about that. the spray tans are great however they always come out patchy and uneven although i have asked many times if i am doing it correctly the staff say yes, which if that were the case it wouldn’t be missing patches over my body. They also don’t follow up on their “no lunk” rule and let it slide. and staff do not where masks correctly even under strict covid rules.

Negative experience: Honestly? Trash. Who wants anything to do with a company owned AND run by Karens? This gym stinks of America so badly, you can pretty much taste it. Doesn't even deserve one star.

Negative experience: Such a shame for me to leave one star as the gym itself is not bad. However I was charged a joining fee ($30) when I shouldn't have been as I had friends sign up a few days before and after me and they were not charged. I was told I "would definitely be getting my joining fee back" only to receive an email a week later saying that now I'm not. Upon cancelling I was 100% promised and reassured that there was nothing left owing and I had nothing left to pay and it was free to cancel. Unfortunately once again this was not the truth. 2 days after I cancelled I had $40 taken out of my account. This is just unacceptable to be charged $70 for fees I was told I wouldn't/shouldn't have paid. If you read this planet fitness, if i am refunded me the money I was told I would be getting back I will change my review and overlook the customer service and base my review solely on the facilities available. The staff there are also friendly but I just can't leave a good review to a business that treats its clients like this.

The classic membership is accompanied by a signup fee, as enumerated both online and in the signed membership agreement form. Those that sign up under a different plan or during a promotion may see a waived or reduced signup fee, but at this time, the classic membership is subject to the enrollment fee. Fantastic experience: Joined a week ago after a casual walk in and a chat with the staff,was shown around and had everything explained. Never joined a gym before but was made made to feel very comfortable and I love it now been everyday so far. Nice and friendly members who are willing to help out a beginner like me Thanks
