Negative experience: I got the worst case of foot tinia ever from the shower.

Positive experience: Sauna and spa. Swimming pool not busy during the week.

Fantastic experience: Excellent pool for all to swim in a well as sporting facilities

Positive experience: The pool and amenities are great but some of staff particularly behind counter can come across as rude . Very hard for some to crack a smile.

Negative experience: We’ve booked our daughter in for swimming lessons. We are 2 months in and already had 3 lessons cancelled due to staff shortages. I understand that our instructor isn’t well and doesn’t seem to have been the entire 2 month period (which is unfortunate and I’m not blaming her). But surely Kiama council need to either cancel the series so we can better plan/look elsewhere, or have better contingency plans and staffing in place. It’s unacceptable.

Fantastic experience: Great place for kids sporting complex from swimming pool to football field.

Positive experience: Great pool and my favourite sauna in the Illawarra, I'd give it 5 stars if it had a cold plunge. Besides that, staff are always friendly, the place is clean and it's easy to book and pay online.

Negative experience: My partner and I drove all the way from Albion Park to attend the HEATED POOL for hydrotherapy for myself and for him to swim some laps at the same time. I usually go to Warilla heated pool 3 times a week but it was closed for holidays. I had phoned Kiama the day before to check if it was HEATED and was told definitely heated. This was not the case on 4/1 the water was freezing and when I complained on way out I was told it was because the doors were open and fobbed off which wasn’t true. Didn’t say she would inform the Manager. They must think I’m stupid, it was just like an outside Olympic pool. Definitely don’t go if you are looking for a heated pool for hydrotherapy, I’ve attended the best at Warilla and haven’t found anything that comes close to it, Summer, Winter, Spring or Autumn with the doors open and closed always 22-28 degrees. Other amenities were ok. Very disappointed. We paid money for petrol and entrance in what a joke. There are people who need a definite heated pool for physical therapy NOT FREEZING WATER which hampers movement.

Fantastic experience: Great place to take the little ones with a little pool and 25 metre pool, both heated and fully protected from the weather. Toilets and showers were clean and kept, wheelchair accessible all round with a ramp in the littlies pool i didnt notice in the big one, plenty of parking out the front, canteen and swimwear shop also. Affordable for the family

Fantastic experience: This is nice family public pool with a children's pool as well, all under cover, which is a bonus for us fair skinned gal's.. no sunscreen, no sun..so no slip, slop, slap or hat.worth a visit.

Negative experience: I go there for the gym with my son who is 13. As soon as he turns 14 and can go to fitness 247 we will be switching. I have nothing positive to say. It's obvious it's run by local government not by someone who cares.

Negative experience: I was here with my Son(7 y/o) and family with multiple kids, this place is over priced for a pool indoors considering you have to pay extra for the inflatable pool tool, and that they offer no discount or concession for Defence or Veteran for myself. I was watched the whole time and told not to do multiple things you would normally do at a pool, they are hugely regulated and are scared to let people have there own degree of risk. There life guards are rude and are always patrolling I assume they are micro managed by there general manager which I was threatened with after I argued a point. Thank you and don't swim here, I won't be.

Fantastic experience: As I'm an incomplete paraplegic the staff are absolutely fantastic. They have all the equipment for me to get in and out of the pool when I do my Hydro with my Physio. I cannot speak highly enough of the staff thank you all for your assistance and support.

Positive experience: Nice pool but cant say it is clean. I have honestly fished out 4 bandaids in the last 3 months that have been floating at the bottom of the pool. I used to just watch them drift from lane to lane but have decided that if no one else was going to remove them then at least I was. Also showers have an automatic off timer after I think less than 30s, and are not particularly strong and often cold, that is a bit of a downer but the overall pool is great

Positive experience: I have been using the Kiama Heated pool for rehabilitation for a few weeks . The facility is great with reasonable entry fees. The change rooms are spacious and clean. They offer a great range of classes for the pool and the gym. This seems to be their main focus. The only thing that I can complain about is that they don't have a Walking and gentle exercise lane. This is something I think they need to add for the people who come with injuries. While trying to exercise the kids using the pool were playing and diving around me. I'm unsteady on my feet so would love there to be a lane for exercise only. A fantastic centre to use wish there were more in the Shellharbour area.

Positive experience: Good pool. Go for lap swimming when there are at least four available lanes. No lockers. Nowhere to dry hair.

Negative experience: They dont leave a lane open for public lap swimmers when there are swimming lessons on, so you have to try and lap swim with kids playing in the same lane as you. Very poor planning and shows they dont care about individual patrons, only the groups. And now they have reduced the amount of lanes available during the day too. Basically means of you want to lap swim you have to go after 7pm (their sign says lanes are back open at 630 but experience has shown that lessons tend to go overtime and the kids don't leave until 7) Even though the pool doesn't close til 9 I was made to feel unwelcome when I stayed past 8pm. They were cleaning around the pool with a hose and splashing me. They also put the pool covers out as a hint that they wanted me to leave. Water is way too cold. Buying a swim pass gives you 10 swims for $46. Buying them per visit costs $5. So buying the pass doesnt even give you one free swim. Basically unless you're a kid don't bother.

Positive experience: Basic, but a good range of classes and equipment. Excellent instructors- best Body Balance class I've ever done! Pool is a good temp, plus outdoor and kids facilities. Worth a trip.
