Beyond Bouldering Kent Town

Negative experience: I suffered an injury at this venue staff told me that they would wouldn't renew my membership as it was almost finished and I would be able to continue climbing. Found out two years later that they have been charging my card every week after they told me it would be canceled. I understand I should have contacted there credit department but its different when your told that they will take care of it and then screw you over.

Positive experience: Nice facilities, good setting, the staff are nice. I had some issues cancelling a membership but this was resolved.

Positive experience: Small and crowded bouldering gym but the friendly staff and good prices made up for it

Negative experience: Reasonable level of climbs, but suprisingly unfriendly customer service. In town for a few days and they wouldn't let me share a ten pass with a friend.

Fantastic experience: The kids really loved this place. We visited on a fairly warm day but the AC was on and it was nice and cool inside. Really well priced and even though it was pretty busy there was still space for everyone to have a go. All the other people there (quite a few regulars by the looks) shared the walls and were friendly. Staff were great and showed the kids all the safety stuff and then they were off. Had a real blast and were very tired after only a couple of hours.

Fantastic experience: Great Bouldering gym that we visited while in town. Lovely atmosphere with friendly and helpful staff, friendly clientele as well. Well set up and marked climbs, catering for everything from beginner and up. We'll definitely drop in again next time we're in town.

Fantastic experience: Staff are very nice and enthusiastic, look more than happy to help you out. I definitely recommend getting the $38 deal because it has unlimited visits for 3 weeks, and free unlimted shoe and chalk hire during that same time. You need to go to this place. Also try out the 'no-hand' climbing wall if you want a very fun challenge.

Positive experience: It was great- I went with a friend and it was really fun. The pricing was good- around 20 bucks, I stayed for 3 hours. Everything was quite clean and I even got brand new shoes when I rented! The staff were really nice and the pretty safe. The place was a little small (or maybe there was a lot of people). Overall good experience, but I won't be back- only because it's not my thing.

Fantastic experience: Super friendly crew, great coffee and some fun boulder problems. It can get pretty busy at times, and street parking is really the only option.

Positive experience: Good place to go bouldering. Parking can be a hassle. Not enough in the front, side street parking is available but almost always occupied. AC in the gym could improve. The wind speed is too high and can be distracting when climbing.

Positive experience: Problems are varied and fun. The staff members are very nice. Music is nice. Having a wall with many different problems doable is really fun to work on. You have all the necessary tools for body weight training. I don't get why there is no proper dressing room. Air condition is turned on with the warehouse door wide open. Mattress are full of chalk.

Fantastic experience: Great facility and very friendly and helpful staff. Day pass $22, shoe hire $6, free lockers, table tennis at the counter area. Not busy when we arrived in the afternoon but started to get a bit busy in the evening.

Fantastic experience: Was looking to do something different and decided to go for a bouldering session. I have never done 1. Google directed me to the one in Kent town that was open. Upon arrival I was warmly welcomed by Chris and Travis. The whole process was very simple to understand and my questions were promptly answered by Travis. I ended up purchasing the starter pack cause not only it is cheaper but also I will be coming back again for sure. Great team and very humble and professional. Great job guys keep it up.

Positive experience: Great gym with plenty of climbs for beginners as well as intermediate/ad advanced climbers. Unfortunately, there are still some visitors who jump on the wall underneath people who are already climbing which is very unsafe. The staff here are always lovely

Fantastic experience: This may become my new obsession. Firstly, the community who frequent Beyond are chilled, friendly and non judgemental. The climbs are amazing and have so many different levels of difficulty. I loved watching the more experienced try the harder climbs. The staff are super friendly. And really showed interest in my questions as a beginner. Also, theres a table tennis table in the reception cos why not!

Negative experience: Nice bouldering gym with a variety of routes. However, it is shocking that I hardly see those who are not climbing wearing masks which makes me feel unsafe staying inside the gym any longer, especially it was packed with many customers within such small space. No staffs seems to be aware of the problem.

There are a lot of climbs available and plenty at a beginner level. It's worth checking out the busy times and going when it's quieter if you can. All in all, a really great place to learn to climb
