Negative experience: The management is not really cooperative as they cancelled my membership as per the notice period but still charged me for my membership 5 days before the last day of the notice period. Also, they don’t really attend the phone calls during the day

Negative experience: Staff here is nice but this isn’t a clean gym. It’s not the right place to work out for gym girlies … A lot of staring & uncomfortable environment there.stay safe in parking area as well

Negative experience: Too disillusioned after more than a year as a member and I never received even a day of courtesy, terrible customer service in Dandenong, they only talk to you so that you join, after this not even a glance at your progress, apart from that, when you enter they tell you "NO CONTRACTS, you can disaffiliate whenever you want" now they force me to pay 30 days more than I am disaffiliating, I never recommend it

Fantastic experience: I bought the membership here for my 40th birthday and I've never looked back. Great atmosphere, well maintained facilities and equipment. When there's an issue, the staff attend to them promptly and resolve them.

Positive experience: Amazing gym, lovely staff and great facilities. I just wish there were more machines and better cable attachments (attachments with better grip and longer ropes), but there are always workarounds to that. Otherwise I recommend 100%
Negative experience: Scam- MONEY LOOTER. once joined, if u want to cancel the mebership its gonna be a drama. My 3 months memebership commenced novemebr is supposed to end by Feb, 2024. However, fortnightly payments have been deducted until now. rang them receptionist attened and say bla bla. wen i asked that wanted to speak to the owner- she says- owner not ther at the moment. will pay a surprise visit. asked me to submit a cancellation form. so emailed. it appears like they will loot another 2 fortnight payment. i just wonder when a customer join for a 3 months programms why money is still being deducted? will chase them and update here. I dont want others to fall prey for the ponsy schemes they offer. and will ask my 3 friends to rejoin other gyms. this is not fair at all.
Hi J, I’m terribly sorry you have had a bad experience with us however you were on a month-to-month contract. This membership has a 30 day cancellation policy as per the contract. We inform all new sign ups of this policy three times during the sign up process; verbally mentioning it to the new member, being on the membership pack during the sign up process and lastly in the contract you sign. We also do not offer three month direct debit memberships. Our process for cancellations require cancellation in writing and to also fill out a cancellation form for our records - just like any other gym you would attend. Fantastic experience: Snap is not only conveniently located within the shopping precinct but it is backed up with proactive people at the helm. Let me expand; the owners, Emily and John. Emily is a Bodybuilding Champion and her Membership Consultant/Manager is outstanding in her Customer Service. Dana was professional friendly, approachable and more importantly flexible and made things happen in such short time. I have no affiliation with snap in any way. I would highly recommend this great 24/7 place and safe space to anyone who wants to mange their health with regular exercise. R

Negative experience: WARNING: Be aware that this gym SELLS you the access keycard upon signing up. It's not a deposit that you pay and get back when returning the card like other facilities do. When cancelling, they won't take the card back and want to make it sound like a pro that it can be used again when returning to them. From memory, I've been charged $69 for that piece of plastic. Unless you want to be with them for the rest of your life, otherwise make sure you understand that it is an unclear sign up fee that is not explained, or you negotiate that amount way down or get it waived entirely.

Negative experience: Very bad experience i had with them, i called them maney time to cancel my membership and stop taking my money but they are still deducting my money from my bank account. Never response to customer request and complain. I never recommend anybody to setup direct debit or onsale advertisement.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic place to achieve your fitness ambitions. Staff are friendly and passionate. The exercise equipment clean and well maintained. Positive experience: Friendly new owners, some equipment is dated/showing wear and tear. Bathrooms need renovation, regular cleaning. No group classes currently. Running low on lighter plates (2.5kg or 1.25kg). Leg press machine is uncomfortable to use.

Fantastic experience: After new management, the gym kicked into overdrive with completely revamping the entire gym and completely changed the atmosphere. When you join, you join a family of dedicated people who welcome you with open arms. The best gym I've gone to in my life. John and Emily really hit it off with the new management. Fantastic experience: **Update** Since the new ownership, I am pleased with the progress made regarding the standard of cleanliness and atmosphere Dandenong Snapfitness now has. Emily and John are passionate about the gym and am glad they will be making something great of the gym moving forward as it has great potential. I look forward to making this gym my home gym. ***Original*** 1 Star I’m really disappointed in the cleanliness. The first time I worked out there the place smelled, floors looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in a while, machines were dusty. The toilets were filthy and the sink was blocked. Second time I went thinking the first time was perhaps it was because it was a Sunday, was the same. I took my own disinfectant wipes and when I wiped the machine before using it… the amount of dirt and dust which came up was sickening. Floors were still unclean and very dusty again. In a covid world, cleanliness should be a priority especially in a gym. What was also concerning is children were in the gym. It’s unsafe for children to be in a place with heavy equipment and I do think it’s in the policy that children under a certain age aren’t allowed into the gym for that reason. These children looked under the age of 6. I am now finding another, cleaner gym.

Fantastic experience: Was a visiting member of Snap. Couldn't say a lot about the customer service as I've only went there once, and had a brief encounter with the staff. They were really nice though. Thoroughly impressed with this gym, it's actually better than my home branch, which is not easy for me to say. The equipments are clean and well-organized. Racks and benches for days. Massive stretching/free space. Easy parking. Can hardly fault anything in regards to the facilities.
