Negative experience: AF Tarneit central is my first ever gym and it’s been a year since I joined. One day when I was in a rush and didn’t tap as there’s already someone in front of me to open the door, when I was inside the employees chased me up just to ask me to “tap” outside. I’m pretty sure it’s they couldn’t monitor everyone to tap if they come in group ye.

Negative experience: One of the worst gyms I have been too. Staff got too much attitude and act all bossy . Ended up going to watergardens totally different experience.

Fantastic experience: He is friendly, approachable and generally in happy mood. He offers to assist if need be and mostly seen putting away the weights and tidying up the gym in general. Above all, he is a professional and I would definitely recommend a friend if I have to.

Negative experience: There’s a reason this place is rated 3.6. Extremely rude staff, they blocked me on social media for absolutely no reason. The place is very small, and poorly ventilated. This price you pay per week for what you receive is definitely not worth it. I’ve spoken to previous staff members who will all agree that this is not where you want to start or continue your fitness journey. Head down to sunshine fitness truganina, cheap, big and the environment is unbeatable!

Fantastic experience: Nice staff members and gym equipment. Today I went to the gym and asked for the process of transferring membership. The staff member Ashmit explained the process in detail for me and answered me other questions regarding freezing conditions etc. At the end I changed my mind and chose to stay in the gym.

Positive experience: This particular AT has oversold membership ,gym is too full , need to wait for machines, it's more like an Indian social club , very few people actually there to train, more like sitting on a machine surfing their phones , I'd suggest another gym.

Negative experience: Shocking AF branch. Very poor management with water being broke 2 weeks ago and still not fixed. Customers literally have to get dehydrated while at gym especially hot days. It takes a day to replace the water dispenser.

Negative experience: Signed up for my son & myself. Cancelled membership within 3 day cooling period & still got charged $79 for FOB key. Didnt use the gym once. Emailed Head Office, no reply received. If FOB was going to be charged for, then tell us charges will apply in case of cancellation. Dont sneak them in! [open to amending feedback should our money be returned]

Negative experience: It’s about 1 week and still no water supply to drink in the gym. if you guys not gonna fix this in the upcoming week, i will cancel my membership!!!

Negative experience: Water fountain broken and it’s been one whole week. Members have to pay for their water. Not the staff’s fault, the owner is careless.

Negative experience: Staffed with a mobile number that no one picks up. Happy to take your money but never answer your call.

Negative experience: PLEASE DO NOT JOIN AT THIS GYM. Not only are the equipment outdated and the staff are rude and dismissive, but also they can violate the terms of their own contract without consequences. I didn't even sign up here but my accounts, personal details and payments were transferred here illegally. When I demanded this be reversed, I was told I had to pay a fee to fix it, I did and nothing happened. I got this result three times before they said it was an automated system and nothing they could do. I brought this contract breach to their attention and they laughed at it and kept demanding I pay. I haven't set foot in this gym since June 2024 and didn't even join in Wyndham Vale until August, but since August tarneit has been pressuring my to pay ridiculous amounts of money even after I cancelled my membership. And just this morning they threatened a debt collector and legal action for, again, fees that accumulated after I told them to cancel my membership. Please do not make the mistake I did and ever go here

Negative experience: Very business minded people. Recently I met with a physical condition, which restricting me to do the heavy duties ( bypass surgery) and I have sent all the medical reports to this people to cancel my membership. They did a great favour to hold my direct debit for one week and asked me to bring a letter from my doctor saying that " Iam unable to go to gim any more " to cancel the membership. No one will give a letter like that and these people know that. Since last 4 months I'm paying for nothing and no mercy from this people. Not even a call from them to check the reason of not attending the jim. Very narrow minded people.

Negative experience: Don't waste your time Just saw owner responded, Edit to respond to owner's response: No I was not welcome. I made this review because when I came to inspect I was told about pricing without even being allowed to walk in and inspect the gym. Staff I met were not friendly or welcoming, that is my recollection.

Negative experience: So unclean and ladies in management are very rude had a bad experience with manager Tanya so left gym going to Hoppers now! won't recommend at all!!

Fantastic experience: The gym is really good, staffs are always they from 11am-6pm and they are very friendly. Thank you Neil for help and care so I don’t feel lost in the new gym area and makes me know what to do in gym. The gym area are super clean.

Positive experience: The Anytime Fitness gym at Tarneit is quite popular and always busy. Has a good selection of equipment. Some of the equipment cushioning are damaged due to fair wear and tear and need urgent replacement. Also, a few of the lockers don't work.

Negative experience: Hard to cancel. always explains differenct charges when you request to cancel with them.easy to join but impossible to cancel after all their requirements..

Positive experience: A little bit expensive but good for gym and fitness lovers as once you get a membership then you can visit the gym anytime in 24 hours in any of their branches. Its open 24/7 for their members only.

Negative experience: Had a gruelling experience when I started asking management to cancel my membership at the end of a contract. They were really encouraging and all before this encounter. They really are doing a very good job helping the business but doesn't feel right. All this contract thing seems outrageous.

Negative experience: Couldn't be more disgusted at the lack of cleanliness in this place from both staff and members. Nobody wipes their equipment, hardly anyone brings a towel and staff just sit in the corner without a care for general hygiene and standards. Will take the fee every week but I don't pay to be using filthy equipment or cleaning up after others. Half the lockers are broken so safety of personal belongings is not ideal. I wish I wasn't locked into a contract or I wouldn't be returning.

Negative experience: Anytime Fitness has a great flaw: cancellation of the contract can easily cost you around $600 even though you only have used their services for 2-3 weeks! They give you only 2 options, 12-month and 24-month registration. If you sign up for 12 months, they charge you $24.5 a week. BUT, if you want to cancel, you will be charged for half of the entire remaining period! Imagine you go to this gym for 2 weeks and then you need to cancel: you will be charged for half of the remaining 50 weeks: $600! just because you’ve used Anytime Fitness for 2 weeks.

Negative experience: Extremely discrimination behaviour by one of the staff member. Below standard conversation. Hung up my call while I was enquiring. Very shocking . Very gutted to be honest.

Negative experience: Avoid this gym, if you want to train after their business hours. Every time i came after business hours there are members who are allowing their non member friends to come over and train specifically over the weekend which create a very unpleasant environment for the gym. Management should monitor these activities and terminate the membership of member doing this. I will not continue my membership here once my contract ends

Negative experience: I used to go regularly at this gym back in 2017 when they first opened. I think it’s because it’s new back then, it is good. Now? Oh gosh. The whole place smells like curry, toilets were disgusting and members doesn’t respect other member’s personal space. Music is too loud and you’ll need to put your headphones on full blast if you don’t like what they’re playing. Since you guys are about to reno, please have a good ventilation I don’t wanna smell like other peoples sweat

Negative experience: I visited to anytime fitness in Tarneit today to sign up. The person over there asked me so many questions regarding why I want to join the gym? My answer was that I want to join gym for my body fitness. He asked me how fit am I ? I said that yes I am fit. He said me if you already fit then why you needed gym and so on. I was doing gym from last 10-15 years and nobody ask me such silly questions. Worst experience

Negative experience: Equipment is ok. Heaps of peeps dont shower/wear fresh clothes so working out in the enclosed space is pretty hard alot of the time. Heaps of peeps also dont use towels or wipe equipment after they use it or put their weights away- lacking basic respect for others using a shared gym. Management dont seem to care- they dont even send out friendly reminders to all members regarding basic hygiene and respect for others but still charge full amounts even though the good patrons have to wipe equipment after others and re-rack etc. Other than that- its an ok gym.

Negative experience: Stay alert while signing up your contracts. Don't take serious if they say 'If you need to cancle your membership at any time you can provide us the reason with proof' they will never ever cancle your membership,, the best service they provide is charging and charging, even of you r dying or have nothing in your bank account.. I got back injury, requested them to cancle my membership but they can't. They say you have option 1. pay half of the fee option 2. Refer a person or provide a medical certificate. After provide the medical certificate also all they can do is to freeze my membership just for some time.That is ridiculous!! Shame on the services and the policies. Come on guys, you need to learn to understand the genius problems of people.

Negative experience: Whats the worst part in this gym? I havent signed up and just want to take a look around. They ask for my info and card details. I told them, Im not ready yet, but one of the staff insist and told me its for records only. I didn't signed the form! 2 weeks later, they start charging me!!! Ang guess what, they forged my signature. I went to them and talk. They never listened! I filed a complaint and went to police. But police told me just to work with put with them. Which again is useless. They charged me for 4 months. 5months later, someone was calling from this branch and telling me I havent paid yet for the month Save yourself from coming here!
