Negative experience: Avoid. An older employee interrupts workouts, asking people to put weights away even while they’re still using them—sometimes even putting them away mid-set while you are resting for like 30 seconds. The bathrooms are gross and clearly not cleaned regularly. To top it off, I was offered "the good supplements" (probably steroids) in the bathroom by a gym member.

Positive experience: Lots of equipment but all very worn, also very packed
Hi there, thank you for your feedback! We are committed to maintaining our equipment with regular maintenance of pads, cables, and more. Our in-house team, advised by both members and staff, handles any issues promptly, often on the same day. More serious issues are outsourced to the appropriate repair parties, which provide regularly scheduled inspections to avoid downtime of equipment. Regarding crowding, like all gyms, we experience peak times, particularly after work hours. However, our extensive range of machines ensures all members can find what they need. Plus, with our 24/7 access, members can train at their convenience, helping to disperse crowd density compared to gyms with limited hours. Hope to see you again soon! Fantastic experience: This gym is awesome! It has every conceivable piece of machinery and then some! It even has a seal row bench which is pretty rare. It’s old school and pretty hardcore so if you’re looking for something pretty & neat look elsewhere. The staff are all very welcoming and Valentino was very helpful with my membership inquiries. Thoroughly recommend and if you’re not a local get a passport membership and make the trip - it’s well worth it.

Negative experience: This gym is absolutely filthy. The male changerooms/toilets constantly reek of urine, puddles of urine fill the floor. The toilets haven't been cleaned. This is not only unhygienic but a health hazard. If this issue isn't rectified ill be taking matters further and lodge a formal complaint. The staff aren't helpful, they are too busy gossiping, talking amongst themselves or beautifying themselves to even consider an ounce of customer service. Thoroughly recommend not visiting until these 3rd world standard facilities are cleaned and reflect Australian standards.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I tried World Gym once on our Fitness Passport and we instantly wished we lived in the area. This is the best gym in Sydney in my opinion. The staff are super friendly and the equipment is next level. Honestly, the best machines I have ever used! They are colour coded for each body part - legs in one place and one colour, upper body in one place and another colour. Very easy to find your way and the space is huge. Not to mention that it caters for all workouts whether it is strength, HITT, cardio or classes. Absolutely love it!
