Negative experience: They donot turn ON Ac at weekends feels so much heat and uncomfortable

Negative experience: It’s been 8 months since i join this Gym everthing was so good so far but day passing heat increasing inside whenever i come no aircon is on even there is no staff still give access to aircon. So we don’t have to suffer from heat wave it’s not even about myself it’s for other people too kindy work on it thanku.

Negative experience: Very Poor Air conditioning. Feels like trapped in heat no Air cons are onn most of the times.

The group classes are fantastic and the instructors are so motivating. I appreciate different class hours as it makes it so much easier to fit a workout into my schedule. Negative experience: I have been coming to this gym for a year. In this gym, something is always broken—either the AC or the water cooler. Now there’s a new issue going on. I understand you have limited space, but what are we supposed to do? We are paying money, and you just put up two boards and block the front entry for your evening class. You always do this in the evening. Where should we work out? If you think you have too many members, then don’t take new admissions. You’ve made it so crowded that we can’t even do our abs workout. Where i place mat in the machine area and don’t allow us to pick up the abs roller from that spot. Tell your staff to speak more respectfully; we don’t come here to be insulted. If you’re using the indoor area, then where are we supposed to work out? Please tell us. Very bad experience. Your staff is telling us to wait until the class finishes. So, does that mean we should just sit and wait until the class is over before we can do our abs workout?

Negative experience: I got told the wrong information by multiple staff member multiple times about starting at the gym. One employee said that there are no onboarding and cancelation fees, when i went again to start a membership another employee said that there was onboarding and cancelation fees but a 7 day cool off period where all your money can get returned including the onboarding feee. They then continued to put the wrong date on the contract that charged me the following week when i was not meant to start for another 2 months. after calling to cancel my membership all together because of the inconsistencies and unprofessional environment from the gym they went on to say they can’t refund the onboarding fee and there’s nothing they can do. Either way they were the ones who charged me on the wrong date and skimmed thru the contract, not giving me enough time to read through it. if i decided to go through with the contract i still would not have been able to see if i enjoyed it as they started the contract 2 months earlier, and if i decided i did not want to go anymore i would not have the 7 day cooling off period in order to see if i wanted to continue. Very unprofessional from all members and a lack of accountability. I am not one to complain and usually understand mistakes as everyone is human, but having to constantly call up to try and resolve a problem that was meant to be resolved is annoying and time confusing especially when the staff were not listening or trying to understand. At this point it’s not just about the money but the lack of respect and care for the customer.

Fantastic experience: I have been to many gyms in the past and haven’t liked many in fact there’s only one other I do love and genesis mickelham is now my favourite. The staff which some now I can call friends and the in depth they go to help you out. I feel completely comfortable in the mixed gym which is rare and I also love the wide variety of machines they do have, also continue to provide! Women’s toilets having a sauna and hair accessories and showers…!! I’ve been there just after opening and could never see myself going anywhere else. My PT Haylee Jesensek is absolutely AMAZING the time and dedication she puts into you achieving your goals is above and beyond. Not only is she there to help you with your goals she also is there when you need someone most. I never knew her before but I’m sure glad I have met her and appreciate her to the fullest! Make sure you head down and check it out. Honestly you won’t be disappointed :)

Fantastic experience: Ever since moving to Donnybrook, I have been waiting for a gym close by and Genesis in Mickleham couldn't be more perfect! The staff are always so friendly and helpful, there are heaps of equipment and weights considering this is currently a smaller gym, and has a family-oriented atmosphere. I have been taking personal training sessions with Haylee Jesensek who has always gone above and beyond to help myself and her other clients. Along with the rest of the personal trainers at Genesis, I recommend Haylee for people of all ages and fitness levels if you are looking for a PT.

Fantastic experience: Signed up with Meeron January 2024, since then he has helped motivate and guide me consistently. After training 6 days a week for the past 5 months i felt like I needed an extra push so I had a PT session with Meeron. Meeron’s detailed insights into form and targeting each individual muscle was extremely insightful and most importantly easy to understand, he was able to get me to push passed a point I thought was possible and it felt great. Highly recommend anyone joining to speak to Meeron!

Negative experience: Lack of transparency. Everytime I look into joining a gym I ask if there are no-lock in memberships and I was told that there was an option but there I needed to give notice. I agreed and signed up, however when I came to end my subscription they said I was in a one year lock in contract, and I'd have to pay a $150 exit fee, I disagreed and said I'm not paying that, then they said that I can speak to their transaction processors and that they'd send me an email with their information. I didn't get that email, and I decided that I might as well go gym since I'm paying. Next day I get charged $150, OVERDRAWN with no consent. I don't seem to be the only one who has been misinformed with the subscriptions as I read the reviews and many people faced the same issue. The person replying to all the 1 star reviews sounds very egotistical and is subtly bragging about their reviews, whenever someone says something negative he can't accept it and threatens legal action. In my opinion, focus on being transparent and fixing the lockers that are so non-functional that I have to carry my stuff around with me.

Fantastic experience: Just joined the gym a few days ago and used to train somewhere else for 2 years. The gym is absolutely fantastic and full of brand new equipment that you all need and even more! I really enjoy training over there. I trained during peak times and didn’t struggle to use the equipment I want. The gym is organised, clean and community focused. The people who train there are nice, mature and respectful. I think it might get over crowded soon so hopefully there’s expansion plans to maintain the same vibe.

Positive experience: Great to see a lot more equipment at the gym but sadly it now looks like a warehouse instead of a gym. If the customers have grown which is great for you guys then please get some additional space. It currently looks too overcrowded with equipment.

Fantastic experience: Big shout out to Meeron, if you’re looking for a PT look no further! Meeron has been nothing but amazing, his knowledge and passion is top tier. Someone who has suffered from pain from multiply injuries my body has never felt better. He is reliable, punctual and friendly and most of all makes your sessions fun and you’ll leave with a smile on your face, I highly recommend if you’re looking for a great professional PT.

Fantastic experience: Meeron has been my Personal Trainer at Genesis for about 3 weeks now. Our initial catch-up was to get to know each other & discuss what my goals were. Meeron is a great listener, but also a great educator too. He has a background in Personal Training, but also Physiotherapy & has helped me with a wrist injury, when nobody else could. I'm 61 years old & haven't been to a gym for over 30 years, but Meeron inspires me to keep going back. I highly recommend this amazing human being.

Negative experience: Great looking gym, however I’m not from the area and wanted to visit the gym with just a casual pass, turns out they don’t do casual passes and only membership. When I asked why they don’t do casual passes the staff told me because the gym is too busy to offer casual entry, there was three people in the gym…….

Fantastic experience: I attend a couple of different classes at the gym including Yoga & Body Balance. The yoga classes are by far the best. I don’t know the teachers name but she seems to be the most experienced and good at coaching and correcting. Would love to have more yoga classes. The other instructors are good but they don’t seem too interested in correcting or guiding. They just want to complete the class and go.
