Yaralla Sports Club

Fantastic experience: In our family whenever there is a birthday we go to yaralla for the buffet its great to see the birthday discount back! In our last visit the food was better than ever the prawns and bugs were great the eye fillet on the hot stone was outstanding as to was the brisket the salads have been improved and there was a good selection of other dishes and we had great service as always . It was a shame the soft serve machine was out of order but hey that's life .

Negative experience: Dump of a place don't believe the website no buffet for lunch lies

Positive experience: Not sure where my review went from last week! Prawns were awful, in fact disgusting, chef couldn’t have tasted them or he would have spat them out. Luckily the steak was magnificent. Sad really that you can get prawns in the supermarket better than what they served. Note to self… don’t go wanting prawns. Service was great and friendly.

Negative experience: Gladstone Golf Club is part of Yaralla Sports Club. We were members 2 years for a short time as we found the condition of the course is well below par for what you are charged to be a member. We re-looked at the Golf course again this year (2024) and the condition has not changed and the fees are now just below $1000 oer year. I can't justify paying this when the course is presented and condition is bad. The fairways are dry and sparse. If Gladstone ever get the proposed new Golf course I hope it will be very well maintained.

Negative experience: The coffee shop/bar attached to the pokies had the rudest female staff member during my recent stay at the mantra Gladstone. She served me one morning and was so rude it made me feel uncomfortable. Might need an update on customer service skills.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing service and just as amazing food left here a few kilos heavier, all you can eat buffet and self stone cooked steak wagyu cuts where perfect and The eye fillets looked juicy and fulfilling will definitely have to come back when back in town

Positive experience: Very disappointed lunch was not good potato soup was just warm pork belly was ok but no crackle salads looked like they were from yesterdays as we are pensioners we look forward to going there when we can .

Negative experience: New to the area, a beautiful Club, great atmosphere, but the buffet lunch was very poor, food was nowhere near up to standard, we were so disappointed…

Negative experience: I visited the club for the buffet breakfast with 2 friends on the 16/11/23. Was very disappointed with the quality of the food on offer. Scrambled eggs and chioplatas were tasteless, the baked beans and mushrooms were dry, actually the mushrooms looked like they had not been cooked but left in the sun to dehydrate. Waitress didn't bother to tell us that we could get eggs cooked to order. Didn't realise till we had finished when another table ordered them. Hotel guests seemed to get more attention than walk in guests. Waitress didn't pick up any dirty plates from our table, but did from all the hotel guests tables. Expresso coffee was at an extra cost. So that brought each person's bill to $27. Will not be returning to the buffet. I am more than happy to pay for quality but this is not. At 8am about 10 hotel staff came in and helped them selves to the buffet and then proceeded to have a prestart work meeting. It's great you feed your workers but team meetings in public space seems strange. Wish I had read the buffet reviews before we came, we wouldn't have bothered and could have gone somewhere better.

Negative experience: The staff are a bunch of sad sacks who hate their lives and their job.

Negative experience: Signed up to a membership recently and was denied entry to the cafe by a rude worker. Usually I wouldn't mind but the degrading tone and attitude was just appalling. The club has zero atmosphere and gives off the impression that they're trying to be fancier than they really are. Quite disappointed and wouldn't recommend.

Negative experience: Called them up to book a table and front lady said not to worry about it and that there will be tables when we get there. Once we get there, there was no tables and was told to leave. Payed $53 to get there and now having to pay that again to go home. Wouldn’t recommend these dogs to anyone.

Positive experience: We went to Pacino's, 1st time there. Staff and service were great. Ordered garlic bread and meatballs to share for entree. Garlic bread was good, meatballs 2 of 5 were raw inside. Staff were apologetic offering more but already turned off. Mains we ordered were steak with vegetables and mash,which was instead served with salad and chips, pork cutlet with vegetables and mash but came with some sweet potato no vegetables so we assumed that there were no vegetables left, a pasta dish which was fine and a I ordered a prawn pizza. Why are the tails still on the prawns when they go on a pizza. It means that I either have to eat the tail, or dig the prawn out from under the rest of the topping to take the tail off which destroy the pizza. How long does it take to take the tails off the approx 10 prawns before you put them on the pizza. Prices were okay but I don't think we'll be back.

Negative experience: Yeah the dinner was as good as dogs water, every time I lifted the lid of the food selection I was punched in the face with a waft of some incredibly disgusting stench of off food. The selection was quite poor for a Sunday night and the seafood/salad bar had been sitting for many hours and had turned

Negative experience: $162 for a family of 4 to attend the buffet dinner, I would say I will never go there again. The food was poor to average, definitely not worth the money. Good luck if you want to check it out, hope you don't get sick. Good idea but the food needs to be better for the price. You do save $4 per person if you sign up for a $5 membership, didn't really see the value.

Positive experience: The place was ok. My kids did not know you had to pay for food under tv until after they eat. The buffet was bland, but the ice cream was decent. The room was really clean. My kids were disappointed the pool was under maintenance. But the staff were nice. Hopefully you can improve of this feedback.

Positive experience: New to the area signed up to get discounts and wow there are so many. Had buffet lunch bloody amazing spread. I am in a food coma right now Cakes looked a little worse for wear but plenty of other desserts to choose from Great atmosphere to friendly staff

Fantastic experience: Went to encore for dinner tonight was an awesome meal great selection on the Buffett menu to eat plus also adding on waygu salmon or eye fillet for a small cost topped the night off customer service was awesome will be going back for sure

Negative experience: Total waste of money, don't bother eating there the food was absolutely tasteless! You'd think this day and age there would be some vegetarian options (my wife paid $40 to eat some steamed veggies and roast potatoes) half way through my Jack Daniels and coke bottle a fly decided to have a swim in it which topped the night off perfectly. Didn't bother having salad or dessert as it look like it could have been sitting there a week, very disappointing!!!!

Vegetables. Spaghetti Bol. 2 soups- potato leek, hot & sour + bread rolls + butter. Huge Dessert bar. Lolly bar. Ice-creams;- chocolate & vanilla. Pancakes freshly made.. Cakes, cheesecake, pavlova, Pizza, chips, nuggets. GREAT VALUE.. Alcohol package + extra but good value. BEER , WINE+ soft drink tea / coffee. Staff attentive & cleared plates quickly. Cleaned drips. Technical support needed at checkout, froze / slow. WELL DONE GREAT VALUE in difficult times.

Negative experience: This club is famously empty, primarily because of rude abrupt staff and a total ban on any kind of fun atmosphere. We were last there for a formal work function and told by security staff to tame our language. We could not even understand what they were implying, not to mention the place was completely empty so as no one to even offend?! There was what we thought was bad karaoke going on in the main bar but it was the house band ha ha! Terrible joint. Pacinos serves terrible food and the buffet is too expensive if you dont want to stuff your face. Go somewhere else. Also the staff members said my partner was slurring her words and refused us both service despite only having 3 beverages over several hours. She had a retainer in her mouth, totally innapropriate discrimination and such abrupt rudeness. We clearly werent drunk, just a show of some sort of power from a lady who clearly needs to be retired. Not the first time nor were we the only people to say the same
