Positive experience: Great place to keep your toddlers busy. I have been here many times and my child loves it on every occasion. Also a good place to do your child's birthday party. Their party packages are reasonably priced and they also let you bring your own food for the parties. Overall a great experience. I haven't added a fifth star due to coffee not being great and inconsistent.
Thanks Tejas that's great feedback! We will look to train the staff that are not delivering the quality that you and I are used to! I really enjoy our coffee at Flip Out, and won't accept anything less than perfect. Feel free to ask us to re make it, as even the best sometimes have a bad one in them every now and then.

Yes when you visited it must of been in July which is one of our busiest months due to the cold weather - particularly if you came in the July school holidays as its literally the busiest fortnight of the year! Negative experience: Teenagers can't access small kids area but small kids are allowed to access all areas and then the teenagers can't do what they want due to constantly having small children around. Small kids shouldn't be allowed to go on the bigger equipment or make it cheaper for the bigger kids cause they only have half the space to jump.
Hey Bel, I understand your frustration with this. Our staff do try to control where the little ones go and they do have their own dedicated Junior arena and Multi storey soft play area but during the busy times it can be difficult to control the little ones darting onto the main arena or the basketball arena. I know it can be a bit of a challenge particularly with the basketball arena - our boys also find it really frustrating particularly on weekends or school holidays! Negative experience: Poor and slow service, had no food just nuggets and sausage rolls, coffee machine was broken. Kids foam pit breaking down, foam particles going in the kids eyes and getting breathed in. Kids had fun though.
Hello there Kim, disappointed to get a 1 star. Yes, unfortunately the coffee machine broke down on Saturday night AND we ran out of chips! Two of the most favourite things on the CAFE menu! We apologise this happened. We do get the machine serviced regularly so we are not sure why the machine broke down. With the chips we will endeavour to ensure we have enough stock in future - that is something we can improve on. Re the junior foam pit foam, yes this can be an issue with foam in foam pits which is one of the reasons why we replaced our main arena foam pit with an air bag. Unfortunately, we are unable to put an air bag in the junior foam pit but may look into another alternative if we get too many complaints. Glad the kids had fun - its the primary focus of what we do, although we do want parents to enjoy their visits too! Please do come again, its usually a great experience for the parents too and we regularly get very positive feedback. cheers Michelle
Negative experience: Good facilities with dumb staff that doesn't communicate or even read notes that's supposed to have been left when booking ahead.
Hello there, could you please email the store with more information regarding your booking. We can only find one from the previous weekend for a customer that used 3 jump free cards to jump however we cannot see any information in the notes, so we are not sure what was supposed to be in the notes. I appreciate your frustration but it is not okay for you to refer to our staff as "dumb" or to give our store a 1 star review particularly as you have said we have "good facilities" - which is primarily why you came to our venue. We are very proud of our staff and generally we receive excellent feedback about their customer service and communication.

Positive experience: The nights are well lit...I understand it creates atmosphere however the steps should be lit or at least a neon tape so it glows I watched several kids trip over, up and down the several steps around the place. I think I counted 6 staff, only 3 seemed to do anything the others were busy chatting amongst themselves instead of watching what was going on. The actual place is great, it even has a kids indoor park. It's a great facility. But the step lighting is definitely my main concern of a night time.

With respects to staff we ensure we have the correct number of staff up on Arena attending to supervision which would have been the case as we don't typically get busy on a Saturday night. Fantastic experience: We recently had a school fundraising night at Flipout North Wollongong. Was so easy to organise with the help of their friendly staff. It was a great night out for the kids and we were able to raise some funds to help support the Year 6 end of year celebrations. Highly recommend it, the kids had such a great night.

Positive experience: We've been here for a number of parties. They've all been really good. The last one ended a bit abruptly. Kids were told jumping time had ended but the party was meant to go for another 30 mins. Most likely a miscommunication but was a bit disappointing.

Positive experience: Great environment would have been great if our children were older they were probably a bit young to fully take advantage of the facilities but they still made the best of it and had fun, Also a little disappointed with the small range and choice of food on the menu, would be nice if they could expand the options available. Hot chips were nice though.

Not sure if you’re aware that we have Playgroup Monday to Friday between 10am and 3pm? It’s specifically for younger ones. We put out extra activities and equipment that they can play with as well. Negative experience: Not recommend for kids under 4. It gets really busy and the bigger kids are so excited that little kids get shoved and hurt.
Hey Kayley, I'm sorry to hear that your young one had a bad time. It was very busy that day you attended, having had little kids myself I would try to avoid the peak times. I would recommend for under 4's to come during weekdays, when it's quieter. On weekends after 1pm is the best, as everyone comes first thing in the morning so peak time is 10-1 on weekends. Fantastic experience: Great place for the kids and staff were excellent especially when my niece jarred her knee, one attended came straight over and was very caring, I know it's part of their job but this young lady went the extra mile the whole time we were there even know it would of been one of the busiest days during school holidays. Positive experience: Had heaps of fun been a while since I have been to a flipout how ever it was super hot inside and was cooking me by the end. To add onto that it hasn't been updated in many years a nice refurbishment I'm sure would bring in some eager custumers

Fantastic experience: My kids had a great time for the couple of hours we dropped in on a rainy afternoon. Another trampoline centre pair of socks to each of the sock collections, we just remember to pack a pair each when we go away

Fantastic experience: Thank you so much for helping my daughter celebrate her birthday today at flipout wollongong she had a fantastic time! From the initial online booking which was easy the communication was great from the staff and any emails were responded too quickly. On the day of party checkin was easy and the whole process was smooth. The toilets were clean the centre is bright and airy.The hot food, lollies and ice cream cake went down well with the kids. Negative experience: We have always loved Flip Out Wollongong, but our experience last week was so concerning we will never go back. A small child vomited on the trampolines and the mother admitted to my friend that they had nearly not come to play as her daughter had been sick. Unbelievably, this woman chose to stay, allowing her child to cough over everything and vomit a second time. Whilst this is not Flip Out's fault, their reaction was horrifying. They refused to even gently suggest that the woman come back another time, claiming it was up to her and if I didn't want my child to get sick, then I wouldn't bring them to a place like that! With this sloppy attitude to health in these current times, their neglect and focus on preserving the mighty dollar means we are all at risk. Their attitude and behaviour was disgusting. I filled out an online feedback form six days ago, but heard nothing back - proving these guys couldn't care less. Hi Dave, if you see this review edit please note that I pointed out to the manager that this woman had told my friends in the bathroom that her child was sick, but the manager stated that she could not ask her to leave. The manager was sketchy when I asked if this was Flip Out policy. Obviously, she didn't want the confrontation. Please address this with your staff - and ask why they lied to you (to save themselves) about not knowing about the child being sick.
Hey Helen thanks for the review. The mother of the child in question did not disclose to staff that her child had been sick, in fact she reassured staff that she had just eaten and was on a full stomach. Obviously had we known about the information shared with that mother we would have asked her to leave immediately. I also would like to point out that selfish behavior of the women in question, if that were my child I would immediately leave. We take cleaning and situations like this extremely seriously, and we will be reviewing the situation with the management team to ensure we handle things better next time. Thanks Dave

Fantastic experience: 5 star review because this place has been fantastic for years, easily the best flip out in NSW I reckon, (besides the one in warrawong, until that unfortunately shut down) But I have to ask, myself and a couple of mates came down after a few years the other day to check it out and we noticed the pinball trampoline seems to be scaffolded off! Please tell me this is temporary! Either way, you guys are sick, wish a more older crowd would show up from time to time as it’s a little discouraging rocking up and seeing hundreds of kids but I suppose it’s good business for you guys, and that’s just naturally the types of places kids wanna go to thee days. I was talking with my mates and we were all thinking how it’d be great to have a more adult/older youth oriented trampoline park around, sort of like what you see in other states like bounce inc in QLD and VIC. Sorry for the long review. You guys in north Wollongong though are still #1 and probably will remain that way for a long time. Cheers

Positive experience: My grandson had a severe injury on the trampoline two days ago. Staff at hospital said they are getting a number of similar injuries. It may be the case there is a design issue for older fit users. Newton's third law comes to mind. Disappointing was no follow up from Flip Out. Richard

Fantastic experience: Hey everyone. Not sure if this is the right place to ask this but I’m having some issues with my fn2 type r. I am noticing my car is burning an unusual amount of oil. I am known for driving spiritedly and this is common with the k20 however it is still a cause for concern for me. One of my other concerns at the moment is an issue with the aircon. On hot days the aircon is slightly cold at best and on cool days it’s fine. I believe that this is AC compressor related or a relay switch in the fuse box. And my windscreen jets aren’t working and I have been told this is a 250$ job so not to keen about that either. And my sunroof is acting up. #racecarthings If anyone has had any similar experiences with their fn2 type rs let me know as any help will be appreciated.

We take our coffee making at the store very seriously and our staff are trained by professionals, 98% of the time I believe we make great coffee!However all stores including the best coffee shops every now and then will produce a bad coffee. Given this review was provided the day after our staff Christmas party I’m thinking some tired staff might have produced an average coffee. Please don’t write us off on one experience please try again next time I’m sure it’ll be a lot better.

Fantastic experience: We recently held our son's 4th birthday party at Flip Out North Wollongong. It was amazing! From booking the party, to the staff answering my questions over the phone to receiving a call a few days before, the whole experience was wonderful even before it started. On arrival, everything was clearly set out and organised in the party room. All of our guests were really impressed with how smoothly the party went. Nothing was too much of an issue for the manager and he genuinely seemed to care that we were all having a good time. The facilities at Flip Out North Wollongong are well maintained and clean (compared to many children's centres) and the children's safety was well provided for by all staff. The manager was ever so helpful and made sure everything went really smoothly and the children were both safe and having a lot of fun. The manager there is incredibly good at his job and always goes out of his way to assist us. We are looking forward to having many more parties at Flip Out North Wollongong.

Negative experience: Attended for a party, waited in line for 10-15 mins to be told we could have walked straight through to the party room, did not receive any instruction on the use of the facility. We were rushed out when the pizzas were late and kids still eating. Some mats were sagging and needed attention. Is a fun concept and looks good but needs more focus on customer service and flexibility.
Hey Jake sorry to hear that your experience at our store wasnt good! We generally recieve very positive feedback about out parties. We are experiencing some issues with our Pizza supplier which has had a flow on effect to the running of our parties. I believe we did allow you an additional 10 - 15 minutes in the party room due to the late arrival of the pizza but it sounds like it still wasnt enough time for the kids to finish their pizza. The staff did need 10 minutes to clean the room in preparation for the next party but that doesnt change your experience. So again we are sorry about this and are seeking to rectify the issue with our pizza supplier. We have also reminded our staff to ensure they communicate effectively with our customers. Regarding the store, we do have it regularly maintained and padding fixed however there is extensive wear and tear particularly after a thrashing through the school holidays! We thank you for taking the time to provide us with feedback. Not sure if we deserve a 1 star though. In furture please feel free to ask for the owners or the Manager and send us a message. We care about our customers and providing the best service possible so we have no issue with receiving feedback that can make our offering better. Cheers
Negative experience: I felt quite ripped off after buying a Groupon and finding out on arrival after checking in that they were doing a two for one. No one suggested we save the Groupon and just pay for the session on the day which would’ve been good customer service.

We looked into this and it appears you were in our store on a Tuesday during the school hoildays and we only run the Two for Tuesdays deal (2 for 1) on Tuesday’s during the school term. It sounds like you may have seen our advertising around the centre but may not have been aware that the deal wasnt on offer at the time you were in the store. It's really hurting when your kid got disappointed because they are treated unequally because of their background. I'm really disappointed with such hired people for a place that should only provide happiness and joyful time for the kids, all the kids.

Positive experience: This is a big trampoline park. It didn't have many staff members on the floor and the one's there were more for supervision rather than skills guidance. This would be an opportunity for flip out to capitalize on.

Hey Roz thanks for your feedback, yes sign in is a pain now that we have COVID app and waiver, sign of the times I'm afraid! If you did the online waiver the great news is you only have to do that one once a year......so that mean next time you only have to do the COVID thing.
Positive experience: This one is airy and spacious. Need to have hot food and options for halal food would be appreciated.

Positive experience: Kids had a great time! Staff were seen to fairly routinely clean the tables and floor (sweeping). Only disappointing thing was that the baby change table wasn't inside a mothers/family room, it was just in a corner near the toilets.

Fantastic experience: loved the place, always a great place to go with family and friends. Great place if you’re up for a dunk! The cubes are overdue for a change as they now have lots of particles falling off and stuck onto your clothes

Hey Rylie thanks for the feedback, unfortunately fire and safety regulations prevent us from having any obstruction in the premises. We are fortunate that we have a car park outside where cars are travelling at reasonable speeds. However we do need to keep a very close eye on young ones as they move very quickly at times.
Positive experience: Kids always have fun when they can jump into a foam pit, dunk a basket n just jump. Went on a week day during the school holidays. Needed to reserve place online, saving time. -1* as the seating and parking is limited in these Covid times.
Hey Cooper thanks for the review. It was our busiest weekend as parents sort shelder in the rain. Seating is limited due to COVID and will be amped up once the government allows us. Booking online is the way to go for contactless payment and also guaranteeing a spot as there is a limit! :)

Unfortunately we can’t have a lot of food on hand during the school term week as we just don’t get enough demand however we are open to suggestions, particularly if they’re snacks with a long shelf life. We have introduced muesli bars and protein balls. We are also planning on providing simple sandwiches for kids and 2 minute noodles. Cheers

Fantastic experience: Too much fun! You don't even notice how much exercise you're getting! Hot tip for the adults out there: head in on a school day for free reign on the trampolines and foam pit!

Positive experience: Went here with two boys under 5 who loved it. We chose here as Groupon had a 2 for 1 deal happening. Not quite as large as the Caringbah version but they enjoyed the basketball hoops and ramped trampolines. The cafe was decent and a good area for parents to relax. Only downside is there were no arcade games that the boys are used to from other flip outs

Negative experience: Had a bad experience having my child’s quite expensive party here. It does look good on paper . The staff member who was in charge of running the party was quite young so I don’t blame her for being inexperienced , but for paying over $500 for one of the 3 party rooms for a short time. Having somebody checking in regularly for the whole hour and a half would have been nice. Drink jugs ran out , kids sitting without plates until we had to find our host and ask for plates and water and cordial , in the end there was a rush to get us out of the room getting ready for the next party. Also the money doesn’t let you keep the small helium balloon in the room. Manager was no help. To finish off my experience at the end when paying for the party I had a young staff member over almost overcharge me but luckily i realised and helped her figure out the correct amount.

Hey Lizzie thanks for your feedback. A little surprised to hear that, we had no reported incidents on the day and have a terrific track record when it come to safety of our customers. There were a number of young children on the day in question that cried, one fell over in the cafe and another was upset because they didn't like what mum was saying so it's possible that's what you are referring too. I trust your child had a great time and was't hurt?
