Negative experience: So many better gyms out there!! don’t use world gym. Disgusting management. RACISM and HARASSMENT from the world gym owners family members towards a member who experienced racism. Brushing the member off as a disgruntled customer when all she asked for was an apology. Has world gym underwood or the world gym owners apologised yet?! NOPE yet the girl who started the whole thing has apologised for her racist comments. But not the gym for poor management, poor investigation, breach of privacy and even racist comments towards the VICTIM from world gym family members. Don’t support these chains.
Negative experience: Nice to see how higher management handles staff feedback/ racism with the patrons. Will never use World Gym again, and will make sure friends and family are well aware of your horrible service.

Negative experience: Is this a gym or High School? The way management treated racism in this gym is disgraceful. Just because a person is popular with the staff and other gym members, her “Positive” attitude does not give her the right to not be able to be punished for her racism towards another gym member. A gym is supposed to be a safe and uplifting space, not for gossiping and bullying, especially racist bullying.

Negative experience: I have never visited this gym nor do I want to. The racism that gym members have experienced at the hands of fellow members and staff is shocking. In response to people addressing these issues, you continuously reply that you don’t condone racism and yet the actions by staff members (even a manager) says otherwise. It’s honestly disgraceful. And then you have the audacity to respond to these reviews but to not address these incidents in an appropriate or professional manner. Even after a gym member has come forward about the lack of action taken and yet still no accountability is taken. It’s the 21st century and any kind of racism should not be tolerated. Especially when a racist incident is brought to your knowledge, you do not dismiss it. The dismissal of these situations, excuses racist behaviour. Gyms should be a culturally safe space. So please instead of replying with the same excuses, actually do something about this.

The gym offers a huge range of machines, equipment, and areas for strength workouts (the women’s-only room is fantastic!). The crèche is amazing, and all the staff are so caring and helpful . They were so welcoming when we started and have been so kind , nurturing and compassionate to my children ever since. Negative experience: i have been traning in this gym from last 1.5 year and today staff refused my brother who came from northside griffin to train in the gym with me around 0550pm saturday, even he was willing to pay the entry fees. RACIST STAFF please if anyone reading this review dont ever think to join this gym full of racist staff .

Negative experience: We don’t need to have a membership to give a review about your business as we are Australian Citizens with freedom of speech on this land. Witnessing an Indigenous Australian woman go through such a disgusting treatment by your members and staff is not acceptable. Trying to manipulate and gaslight Australian citizens into silence about a very serious inhumane situation is not the way to deal with a racial crisis. Your business model is insufficient in professional settings in which resulted in a human being with obvious generational trauma of First Nations Australians history and heritage on this land and none of us will stand for it. I encourage more people to leave reviews and hold this business accountable for their actions and lack of care at best until the right action has been taken. Legal action should be taken if anyone experiences anything similar to the recent incident. Absolutely disgraceful

Negative experience: It’s appalling how you can stand by and condone racism in your gym as well as not give any of the staff reprimanded for their actions. This behaviour shouldn’t be ignored nor tolerated at the gym nor in any setting. First Nations people have shown us traditions for generations as well as have taught us how to care for this land and shouldn’t haft to deal with this kind of behaviour. Negative experience: I’m writing to express my deep frustration and disappointment with World Gym. Despite never signing up for any membership or using your services, I have been charged multiple times without my consent. These unauthorized charges have even caused my bank account to go into overdraft, resulting in additional fees that I should not be responsible for. I’ve already tried to resolve this directly, but there has been no action taken to correct the situation. Due to this lack of response, I want to make it clear that I will be filing formal complaints with the ACCC and the Office of Fair Trading. I expect an immediate reversal of these unauthorized charges and a full reimbursement of the overdraw fees caused by your actions. Additionally, I need assurance that no further unauthorized transactions will occur. Please consider this notice serious. I will proceed with the complaints if this matter is not resolved promptly.

Negative experience: Not a safe space to train at - the management is racist and does not professionally or properly investigate incidents of racism or verbal assault in the gym. Embarrassing and un-Australian.

Negative experience: Asking for $1000 as cancellation fees They are totally scammers. I transferred my gym membership from coomera to underwood and they marked it as a new membership. I dont know what they think is the meaning of transferring the membership..I dont think transfer means starting new membership. They waste a lot of time and keep deducting money from the accounts

Fantastic experience: Always clean, tidy and very well accommodating to new comers to the gym life style. Have been coming to underwood since it opened and been apart of the world gym community since 2021 and have loved every step of the way. Couldn’t recommend it enough!

Negative experience: This gym supports racism and discrimination towards indigenous peoples and the staff continuously allow it. Staff are super unprofessional and gossip and share private and confidential information about gym members.

Negative experience: Staff members gossip about their gym members with staff + other members. They also don’t take racial discrimination serious at all. Don’t waste your money!!!

Negative experience: Extremely disappointed and appalled that world gym underwood not only tolerates racism but allows it without consequences to their members. Create an inclusive environment for all cultures or close your doors. Not good enough.

Negative experience: Gym has many default 1.when you sign up they don’t give you a trial before you sign up 2. Gym has no reception inside you will miss lot of calls and you can’t listen to YouTube inside 3. Change rooms are so small and no space to put your cloths when you shower it’s in hygienic 4. Sauna advertised is pathetic fits 1.5 people And always out of order 5.always no body wash or shampoo empty 6. Membership $23.95pw expensive 7. They charge starting fees $79 and they will not give you a cooling off period

Negative experience: Reception ladies are very mean and all ways laughing and making jokes about my size and always talking under breath side eyeing me, making feel insecure. They rarely ever say hi to or ask how my days going as receptions should be.

Negative experience: their sales team will say anything to get you sign up and if you move and they can't provide a gym close enough for you to train at oh yeah you owe us $200 cancellation fee. real class act. wouldn't recommend this gym at all just another money grabber

Negative experience: Had a open membership for all gyms for over 8 months with this gym and they continuously on multiple occasions didn't process it properly through the system. Ended up having Ipswich world gym process it properly after multiple faults with this gym not processing it. Really do not appreciate the consistency in error and oh you should be fine it shouldn't have any issues. The lack of looking into the technological error with my gold membership has really irritated me heavily considering I was paying for it so long (least 8 months). Apart from that it is a good gym. It's the staffs lack of proper problem solving that is irritating and quite frankly very inconvenient.
Fantastic experience: The Club is in great hands with Niki. Really attentive and ensures that the members have the best experience at one of the big chained gyms. Would still love to see some posts about gym etiquette and some calibrated plates. Receptionists are great, welcoming and attentive at time can be distracted but that’s expected when you’re the front of the gym.

Negative experience: There are so many teenagers in night time(after 10pm). They don't have gym card. Very dangerous.

Fantastic experience: Awesome gym, plenty of good equipment, the high ceilings are a big bonus. Parking can be an issue sometimes.
