Negative experience: Love snap fitness overall, but this particular gym is horrendous. Everything is old, broken, damaged, or gross. The entire gym is crowded with machines, so you have no personal space and with almost no organisation. You can tell the staff there do try, as the bathrooms are clean and wipes are full but they just do not receive enough funding, I suppose
Fantastic experience: I came for a casual visit and was greeted my the gym manager with great hospitality. There were a few machines that were broken and require fixing however overall I really enjoyed my experience there. Unfortunately I don’t require a gym membership as my work provides one, however if I was to sign up to one this gym would be it.

Negative experience: This place is absolutely DISGUSTING!! 8 machines are broken and still haven't been fixed The gym our is putrid and I'm sure the air con or vents have never been cleaned. Will definitely be cancelling my gym membership. This deserves a no star rating bit unfortunately I have to give it a star to post
Negative experience: Found the staff at the desk today rude with no concern for anything. Came in and bought my partner in for a trial at the gym. Walked up to the desk and the man didn’t even have the decency to look up, he sat there with his hand on his chin just staring blankly at the computer. Didn’t look up or put any kind of energy into his words that were mumbled through his fingers. Not the nicest thing to start the day when you’re trying to bring someone else into the gym.

Positive experience: Gym is small. No classes or any of the health related activities are available. What irritates me is the time it takes for management to get equipment fixed (even essentials like water fountain). An empty bottle of hand sanitizer is lying on reception desk for days.

We do have some highly skilled personal trainers at the club to help you with all your health and training needs, if you would like us to organise 2 complimentary sessions with them to help you please let us know and we would be more than happy to. Just to let you know also there are 3 wall mounted hand sanitiser units around the club for your use now. Fantastic experience: Best gym for my husband
Negative experience: Gym was rather outdated, nothing like any other Snaps I’ve been too. Great array of equipment, but paddings on the outdated machines were damaged. Gym has a non-pleasant musky smell to it, weights were a nightmare around the gym (on the floor and left on machines), and toilet was not flushing which was quite gross. Sadly, just seems like members aren’t taking care of the facility, and staff is just letting it slide.
Fantastic experience: Love this gym. Also Harry is an absolute ghee love that guy Great gym with an awesome vibe to it. Pretty much anything you could need is there. And it doesnt get super busy. Some of the equipment is a bit older than other places, but it all works well enough. The good atmosphere and friendly people make up for it. The spotify jukebox thing, is great and everyone always puts on legit tunes. Good selection of pre-workout and protein stuff in the vending machines.

Positive experience: Good staff and okay equipment seams kinda old, good gym for a night workout but very busy during the day.
Fantastic experience: This place is lit yo. The team our amazing. Brayden the manager is always helpful and Luke the trainer is always happy to help. Equipment is always well maintained. The place to go!

Negative experience: 新經理態度超級差勁,因為剛好需要請假一陣子,想說順便打招呼因為新上任,我們還特地跑了一趟,結果臉臭不耐煩就算了。請完假回歸訓練,我跟另一半才一進門就被問說有沒有刷卡?回說兩張卡都有刷,他還是一直說兩張卡都要刷,另一半說那你需要我重刷一遍嗎?他又說你兩張卡都要刷!是怎樣?壞掉的錄音機嗎??兩張卡都要刷要講幾次???????為什麼對別人都和顏悅色???連續兩次看到我們就立刻不耐煩???????? Worst manager ever definitely!

Negative experience: Just as you enter the gym you will be greeted with a bad smell and the gym is filthy. I just cancelled my membership because of these reasons. I tried addressing my concern and the gym manager just said “i dont know what you talking about” as if he doesnt have a nose. he manages the gym very poorly he doesnt know customer service.
Positive experience: Good gym, could use some work with equipment, like dumbbells mismatched found only two pairs that were the same weight. Overall it’s a good gym. Just need some touch ups here and there.

Fantastic experience: Im usually based on the Gold Coast but someties I have to go to Sunnybank for my work and when I do I go to this snap fitness and the Fact that I can go to any Snap Fitness anywhere in Australia makes it so convienient.

Fantastic experience: I love having a Snap Fitness membership. You get to try out so many different gyms and types of equipment. This one didn’t disappoint! Even though I’m not a member there, the manger welcomed me when I walked in and offered to show me around. One of the guy PT’s even showed me how to use a couple of pieces of equipment that I hadn’t used before. A very well laid out gym with a big variety of equipment

Fantastic experience: I've never had anything but A+ service from the team at Sunnybank. I took on Luke as a Personal trainer a few months ago and have had sensational results. He has been very understanding and taken into account my injuries that had left me in debilitating pain up until now which is much more manageable. Special thanks to the crew for keeping such a clean and welcoming place to train during my visits. keep up the good work

Negative experience: Dirty gym. Allows members to not wear masks in breach of COVID-19 public health orders. No punishment for members not wearing masks and not practising good hygiene. Not to mention, the virus is airborne and a gym is indoors in air conditioning, so the virus is most likely circulating throughout the ventilation system. Very scary when you can have COVID-19 and be symptom free and not even know you have the virus! Quote from Qld Gov website: 'Masks must be worn when entering or leaving the facilities and can only be removed during strenuous exercise!' I see people every time I attend the gym, not doing strenuous exercise and no mask in sight!! QPS have been notified.
Hey Peter, we have had some staffing changes with a number of staff off woth COVID restrictions. It is not a requirement to wear a mask when working out however is a requirement when arriving at the gym as is the use of a towel and wiping equipment after use. Look forward to you noticing the improvements we have put in place to improve this area and your over all experience.
Negative experience: They will shamelessly grab your money without any concern for decent customer experience. Unethical business practice. I will definitely be going back to Anytime Fitness where customers are put above unethical money grabbing behaviours. Furthermore, no staff at Anytime Fitness have ever tried to threaten me or take advantage of my dyslexia when signing contracts.

Negative experience: This gym is a complete scam. The gym gave me a free trial then took 69.95 from my bank account without permission. You have to read the fine prints in their policy. Getting the free trial means that you give them permission to take money from you anytime they want. Then they refused to reply to email or answer the call. When I finally reached out to them, the manager was extremely rude. I am not sure whether he is just rude to everyone or just to me because I am a woman and he has toxic masculinity. He not only refused to return the payment but also threatened to take more money. Is that even legal to behave this way and be so money thirsty? Do not sign up to this gym! The owner just wants to keep as much scam money as he can. To reply to the comment below We have talked on the phone so don't lie and pretend you don't know me. Also, if you are not on the phone you can not vouch for your so called polite staff. Here is the simple reason, how can you know if you are not there? What evidence do you have? The person on the phone is the owner of the gym not a staff by the way. Maybe that is why he is aggressive and bossy. Maybe the gym owner should also take some responsibility of his rudeness and learn some people skills.

Our terms are very clear, when you join there is a card fee, when you wish to cancel there is a 30 day notice period. Our staff at all times are very polite, accommodating and ensure we meet everyone’s needs. A member not taking ownership over what they sign can’t be used as an excuse to blame us for any wrong doing. We welcome any direct feedback to the club to further assist you with any questions.

Negative experience: Worts ever gym i have ever gone too. Charging my card double every week. When i asked them to sort it out, they either do not attend the call at all (does not matter how many times you call them) or keep saying we will sort it out this monday and then next monday .......

Negative experience: Do not join this gym!!! If you want to cancel the membership in the future. Even though I received confirmation mail for cancelation of my membership, they still steal my money!!! And hard to reach club manager... never answer the phone and reply... is she actually club manager??? No responsibility!!! I really want to know where I need to complain!!!
Negative experience: They’re staffed from 9:30am to 7pm but nobody picks up the phone throughout the entire day so it’s literally impossible to reach anyone. They also do not explicitly tell you there’s a 30 day notice to cancel membership at point of signing up so there’s that.
Fantastic experience: Good location and lots of great fun cardio, weight machines to free weights. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Well recommended.

Negative experience: I've cancelled my gym membership in May 2021 with email confirmation. 4 months later in early September I noticed that snapfitness sunnybank made 3 directs debits each of $37.15, thinking to myself no biggie just let them know and they'll fix it - so I've written an email to sunnybank snapfitness to enquire about the transactions, Caity responded with "we'll look into it" and that's the last I've heard. I've chased them up 3 times in the span of 14 days and not a reply. Don't end up in the same situation as mine. To have your money taken months after you've cancelled your membership.

Negative experience: Walked in to cancel my membership but the manager Caity told me I must send them email, been weeks still didn’t get any reply neither canceled information ! My credit card still be deducted. Disappointed about this snap, been the member for a long time really can’t understand! So people, watch out when you wanna be the members here!
Negative experience: Asked to cancel the membership in June but they still charge me until August. And they Don’t answer the phone call or reply the emails for this. Couldn’t find a way to make a proper complaint.There are so many ways to make money, no need to choose nasty one. Hope this can help.

Negative experience: Not very happy with this gym. Some of the weights equipment are very old and could do with replacing. I also had to ask three times for a copy of my signed contract as this was never sent to me upon joining. I asked the staff via email and instagram to send me my signed contract and could see they had read my instagram messages but had neglected to reply to my messages. They also charged my card during the COVID/lockdown closure and when I asked why this was I was never given an answer and instead I was told they would need to check with management as to whether a credit could be issued, but I'm not holding my breath on a response about this credit. Overall I am very dissapointed with this gym and have cancelled my membership as a result.
Fantastic experience: Never too crowded & props to them for opening up the very same night lockdown lifted- barely half an hour later I was able to go in.

Fantastic experience: I've trained at the gym for awhile now and everytime I come in during staffed hours I get greeted by the amazing Caity who always have the biggest smile and the trainers there are amazing. I've trained with Julian and he was extremely professional and pointed me to the right direction for my training. I would highly recommend anyone who lives nearby to train there due to the amazing community and staffs.

Negative experience: I haven’t rejoined. But suddenly my card was deducted. When I found it, I connected with them immediately. They said the problem was fixed. And I would get the refund. So far, three months passed, my card was deducted three times, and I still get no refund. I don’t know the reason and they just said it is the system problem and I will get the refund in 3 business days again and again.

Fantastic experience: I never used to enjoy the gym environment, but since I started going to Snap Sunnybank, I've really grown to love it. The staff are very friendly and always helpful if you need a hand with something. I remember one of the managers in particular was very bubbly and warm, and made sure I felt comfortable as I settled into my new routine. Thank you Snap Sunnybank for helping me re-enjoy my workouts!

Fantastic experience: Excellent gym and excellent staff. All my needs were met from the start. Music is awesome but not excessive so I can listen to my own music when I want. Plenty of equipment and excellent facilities. A gym and staff that will look after you.
Fantastic experience: I've been personal training at Snap Sunnybank for the past 6 months and have loved every minute of it. All of the members are super friendly and the gym itself is great. Highly recommend coming in to check it out!

Negative experience: I am starting from a free month, but still paid 69.95 for the access card! Negative experience: My partner and I were trying to join this gym. They had texted us asking which days and times we were available to join and we said we were available during the week after 3pm but Xmas eve would be the best for us. I understand that this is not suitable time for most but they sent a text to my partner stating that they would meet us at the gym on Xmas eve to sign us up. When we arrived we were waiting for over 1hour for nobody to show up! We called and texted multiple times (even calling the emergency number on the front desk with no response. If this was a real emergency that’s ridiculous on their part for not caring) but nobody bothered to answer or send us a response. This is very poor service. If you send us a time saying you will meet us there at least have the decency to turn up or tell us you are not available!! We have since joined another gym. Do not waste your time here!
Negative experience: Straight-out thieves. Wouldn't recommend anyone to waste their money. Cancelled my membership but they are still taking out money.
Hey Joshua, we appreciate your feedback however as per the terms and conditions of the membership agreement, we have a very flexible membership where we only require 30 days notice to cancel (this includes 2 final payments). This is now in effect from when we received your cancellation and during these 30 days, you're able to still continue training. Thank you, Management
