Negative experience: Use to be a great gym but now it's overcrowded. No matter what time you go, there's always too many people here even at 5 am, and god forbid going here after work. Equipment and staff are good however.

Negative experience: Was a great gym, now straining under oversold memberships. A workout you could get neatly done in an hour now takes and extra 20mins, or doesn’t get completed. People super-setting even at peak times. Equipment split between two zones, so often doing laps to see what becomes available first. Group sessions need to be moved off the main floor and more basic equipment added in its place.

Fantastic experience: Doesn’t get better than this for a gym. Top notch customer service as well. 10/10 would recommend.

Fantastic experience: Have just signed up too WG! Super easy process and they have all the good equipment and areas to reach my fitness goals! Also the crèche has such a good set up for kids! Would definitely recommend !

Positive experience: Good equipment but too busy and can never get on a machine. Doesn’t help that group pt sessions take up majority of the functional area during peak morning times. Recommend coming mid day to have a decent session.

Negative experience: Either it's a scan or they charging me money bec they broke, put in saying I may come in and pay something to join and they said we will put you on hold and I never went in person , now they want $70 like get stuffed and I'll go court and hurry you if I have to

Positive experience: Very well-equipped gym, nice and new equipments. Most of time you don’t need to wait on the machines which was a plus for me. Restroom and bathroom cleanliness can be improved, but overall is okay. Friendly staff always say hello when you come in which is giving a good vibe.:) Only downside is probably the spacing of equipment, sometimes you need to dodge when you applying or removing weights, or you may accidentally hit the machine that sits next to you.

Shaun was prompt, knowledgeable and transparent during the sign up process. World Gym is definitely worth it. He made it easy to switch from my previous gym without the heavy lifting. Fantastic experience: I live in Melbourne but come to Brisbane often for work ... And I always look forward to working out here.... And drive from the CBD just to go. It is a very well run gym, perhaps one of the best I have been to in 30 years of working out. The staff and members are friendly, there is lots of equipment and the machines are rarely broken. They also have quite a few machines which are good for anyone recovering from shoulder injuries. It is also a very motivating atmosphere with heaps of pro and committed body builders and athletes. I often come away with new ideas for my program. Highly recommend. Can't think of anything bad to say!

Fantastic experience: Personally a fan of the old school aesthetic, I've seen people say it isn't big but I've been to other world gym's that are alot smaller so in reality it isn't that bad. Was initially worried about being overweight and in this environment compared to the cheap, small franchise gyms - but it has been great and the environment helps me push myself and have noticed changes

Positive experience: Pros: Great equipment, plenty of free weight racks. Cons: Poor customer service. Most of the time the front desk is too busy gossiping to take the time to even greet you on the way in. I've especially not had great experiences with the blonde girl Taylor. This gym would be 5 stars if the front counter had any customer service/people skills.

Fantastic experience: I was scared of such a big commercial gym, but the beautiful staff like Tay, Danika, Nic & co have really made me feel so comfortable & welcomed. It can get busy, but there are heaps of machines and classes. The PTs are top notch as well. You won't regret it! :)

Negative experience: Long time member of Stafford gym love the equipment and people, however recently I’ve just had to give up coming in my usual morning session as i find a particular staff member at the front is quite cold and rude both to me and people waiting in line while she’s chatting away with someone. Really upsetting to see such a lovely gym be tainted with a rude staff member. I believe her name was Tay.

Fantastic experience: Excellent gym. Modern equipment, friendly staff & amazing classes. Been going to this gym for about a year now and I am still loving it. The only small negative is the car park which is often very packed. Apart from that you guys deserve 5 stars.

Positive experience: My partner and I have been visiting some of the World Gyms in Queeensland over the last few months and payed a visit to World Gym Stafford today. This one (like all) has a great range of equipment, huge layout and the staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. Definitely a solid gym. One thing that really impressed me was the signs around the place outlining their policy on tripods and photography around the gym (something that really irritates me) this is an excellent idea that all gyms should incorporate, and judging by previous reviews, it seems the staff at Stafford listen to their members! Great job! The only reason I couldn’t give a 5 star is the bathrooms were interesting, kinda gave me nightclub bathroom vibes, and aircon could certainly be better on a hot summer day. Otherwise, we enjoyed our session and sure we will pop back in the future!

Negative experience: I’ve never had a good experience at this gym, due to being overcrowded, too many people recording themselves, pretty much one or two of each machine which has people doing sets for 20minutes which you can not use any machine you are wanting for your routine as they’re all being used by Instagram influencers who are incredibly rude and have no respect or manners towards normal people who enter the gym. Staff are quite bland are only nice and respectful towards regulars or your instagram influencers. I refuse to go back to this gym. And very small gym compared to other world gyms.

Fantastic experience: A few things for special mention. Originally the cleaning was not very good. Lots of dust and dirty toilets constantly. But now there are new cleaners. There is a guy with long hair who cleans, he is great. He wipes everything, cleans the mirrors, cleans machines everywhere, honestly it's noticeably improved ALOT since he started. The creche staff are awesome. Theyre always so nice and my kids love them. Staff that nice is hard to come by. Equipment wise this is the best equipped gym I've been to. Literally everything is there for any workout and multiples version of the same exercise can be done, just count how many back row machines there are! Just no pullover machine yet. Plenty of classes and the cardio area is unreal. It's like you're in the eagles nest overlooking everyone its great. Staff are always nice. The price of the gym is quite cheap compared to what you actually get from it. Even at 5pm peak it's not crazy busy like other gyms you can still get a workout in and do the exercises you want to do. Best gym in Brisbane, no debate about it.

Negative experience: Got signed up for a membership I did not ask for was assured i wouldn’t be charged as I have never been to the gym and just wanted to sign in for a free trial but sienna took my bank details and made me sign a stuff I have messaged her plenty of times telling her I did not want to sign up and now money has been taken from me and I’m barely getting any help.. it’s been 2 weeks so be careful

Fantastic experience: (Updated 6/2/2024) I want to share my thoughts on World Gym Stafford. I've been working out there for a while, and let me tell you, it's an impressive gym. I'd confidently rate it 5 out of 5 stars. The overall atmosphere is great, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Now, let's talk about the layout. My previous feedback has been assessed and i can confirm an update has been made which is great to see- with the introduction of more cardio equipment in the upstairs areas- however would love to see the bikes, that are next to the treadmills moved elsewhere- being 6'9 it gets pretty hairy trying to navigate the space between the treadmill and bikes. whilst not accidentally bumping a treadmill that is in use. One thing I noticed is that some of the machines are placed quite close together. It can be a bit concerning, especially for beginners or those who might not be as experienced. It would be safer if they provided more room between the machines to reduce any potential risks. Now, here's something interesting. Occasionally, you'll spot people using the squat racks for posing instead of doing proper workouts. It's not ideal, but thankfully, it doesn't happen during peak times when the gym is busier. Parking seems to be a common challenge across different World Gym locations, and Stafford is no exception. During peak hours, it can be frustrating to find a spot. It would be great if they could find a solution to ensure sufficient parking space for members, especially during busy times. As a power lifter, I would still love to see more equipment focused on power lifting at World Gym Stafford. It would be awesome if they added calibrated plates in addition to the existing bumpers. That way, we can train with the gear we'll encounter in competitions. Implementation of the one-way car park doesn't seamlessly align with the existing flow and layout, particularly as there's a heightened eagerness to secure parking spots first. Numerous instances of near side-swipes have occurred due to individuals being concerned about missing a spot. It appears this change happened abruptly, and I may not be on a mailing list, but there's been no communication about it on the gym's Instagram page. I anticipate it will settle down in a few weeks. This really falls apart when people decide to park in non existent spots. Right near the fence adjacent to the day care next door. I appreciate that the gym actively maintains the cleanliness of the men's rooms, despite what other reviews may suggest. It shows that they take pride in their facilities and ensure a pleasant experience for members. To sum it up, World Gym Stafford is an impressive gym overall. It has a positive atmosphere, and with some minor improvements, it could become even better. It has become a convenient stop on my way home, and I always leave feeling satisfied with my workout.

Negative experience: Men’s toilets are disgusting, and I mean disgusting. Very crowded. There’s a lot of chicks walking around in undies, if that’s your thing then you’ll love this gym. But, the equipment is nice.

Positive experience: Staff are friendly and helpful, and I can't say anything positive about how the members treat the facilities... It's like I'm back at Derimutt's.

Negative experience: I cancelled my membership with Goodlife and joined this gym because I always seek for a better environment, vibe, and equipments. Despite the peak time and how crowded it is, it came to my attention that the mens bathroom is always filthy, covered in germs and moulds, and smell of urines. Even sometimes they’re running out of hand wash liquids or body wash! Although, there are cleaners who work most days, but the bathrooms are yet untouched! I guess they only change the bins’ bags..

Negative experience: Overall not a bad facility, toilets can be gross. Peak hour is rediculous expect long wait times for everything. And the amount of trip hazards in regard to tripods is wild. If you don’t want to be in the back of someone’s tiktok I would suggest don’t go

Negative experience: Wanted to join up but was told I would need to pay $20 for a trial session. Big rip off and only interested in taking your money. Stick with other gyms that know what customer service means.

Negative experience: Dead set worst experience ever, I am an elite athlete that has been training for well over 7 years now, been to many clubs in my time, I have come up for holidays and it seems that I have found a CAMERA in the posing room, this is a breech of privacy, mind you you had your chance at redemption as I wa a leaving, I ordered a hulk bulk that seems to of come out with HOT water and tasted like my dogs breakfast, I am disgusted at the least and appalled.

Negative experience: Every time I come to this world gym while I’m in Brisbane for work the women bathroom is always dirty, showers are never clean. Around the gym equipment is dirty, & if you are wanting to do a quick work out forget it you will be waiting ages for equipment the gym is so small for a world gym. Staff don’t encourage people to wipe down or use towels. By far the worst world gym I have been too Employ some cleaners! Edit: no I’m not confused on the gym. it’s world gym Stafford and it’s definitely is not the biggest one in the country or cleanest ! Burpengary, Northlakes and Caloundra are much bigger, Rockhampton & mt Gravtt are small but has utilise the space a lot better.

I was supposed to cancel my membership about two and a half months ago and obviously they failed bc they are world gym and I’d be impress if they can do a job properly. So money kept getting taken out of my bank account. Then today on top of cancellation fee that was taken out of my account they decided to take an extra 30 dollars. It’s not like I needed the money for anything I just needed it for very important medication that I had to buy. Congrats world gym keep up the ‘hard’ work ……. Maybe if I get my money back I’ll ‘consider’ taking down this review☺️

Negative experience: Appalling customer service. I was looking to join a gym as my friend told me abt it, but lady at the front desk did not smile one time. All she wanted was the money. I paid did my work out, but staff truely discouraged me from joining and the toilet and storage for bags was like a Jetts gym. Nothing to be stuck up abt like the front desk lady was. Glad I’m not a member there!
