Positive experience: Visiting from out of town for a few days. $10 for drop in visit during staffed hours 0900 tp 1300. A bit cramped in some areas but all the essential equipment you need like squat rack, bumper plates, machines etc. Staff friendly and helpful.

Also well equipped, shower, wifi and equipments for upper/lower body workout . Day-pass 10 AUSD, cheaper gym pass than 90% of other gyms. Thank you , very good for travelers

Negative experience: Bad gym The gym is full of toxic gas after renovation, and the very disgusting deduction clause. If I have enough money in my bank account and fail to deduct the fee, I will have to pay an extra $11 in overdue fee immediately

Negative experience: I had a bad experience with this gym. They offered a 3-week free membership promotion, but there was an upfront sign-up fee of $82.90. Just two weeks after joining, they began renovations, which meant I couldn't use the gym while still having to pay. No one informed me about the renovations or that I could use my membership at a different location. Had I known about the renovations, I would have waited to join. When I returned after the renovations, the gym looked somewhat more modern with some new equipment, but it was still rundown in areas like the bathrooms and toilets. When I tried to cancel my membership, I was informed that I would still need to pay for the next 2 weeks. Compared to my experience with Virgin Active, where joining and canceling were straightforward, this was disappointing.
Negative experience: The worst gym i have ever been to. Very dusty, dirty, smell, and VERY outdated. Equipment is really old, the treadmills are very old and outdated, they use screens they have bought from kogan and attach it to the treadmill. owner must be super cheap. i would not recommend. for the same price you can find new and clean gyms with state of the art equipment available.
We have just finished renovations and it is like a brand new gym. You have either not visited the gym recently or are deliberately trying to mislead people with a false review.
Negative experience: They reopen today and the smell inside almost killed me. If you work out for a while, you’ll feel uncomfortable.

Negative experience: EDIT FOR RESPONSE: This is hilarious because I know you’re in the middle of a renovation and I was going to sign back up when you open LMAO. Guess not then. Yes it was filthy, yes things didn’t work, or why would it be gutted for a renovation a few months after I left? Why bother lying? Clearly you don’t know how your own sign up process works, because you write it down on a sheet and the worker inputted it wrong. Why bother fighting this it wasn’t my mistake… it was cleared up in the past in person. Yuchen was helpful and sorted it out. I can bring the email screenshot receipts. Weird as hell response, I was going to come back but clearly the management is still… yikes. Thanks for the heads up. Power wash your stairs, they look as filthy as the attitude. I’ve seen the way you’re responding to other reviews. Obviously the gym was in disrepair or it wouldn’t need an over haul. Everyone who has reviewed is someone who has paid and visited. No one knows that you’ve even re-opened from the renovations, because it was only posted on the door that you were closing at all and no where else. You need a serious lesson in marketing. All you had to do was reply and say “we’ve just reopened from renovations and look forward to seeing you back” and you would have had like ten members return immediately. You dropped the ball dude. — original review: Absolutely filthy, never cleaned. Multiple machines broken and never fixed, same with the TV's. Dust has never been wiped since I joined over a year ago. Literally an asthma hazard its in thick like a carpet on the top level on all the beams and surfaces. I put in multiple requests for it to be cleaned. Nothing. They spelt my information wrong (both last name and email ) when I signed up and thus I never received any emails until I went in to cancel and discovered that was a thing that should have been happening. Better off exercising in the park.
Members sign up by entering their own details and if you enter your name and email address incorrectly then we cannot be responsible for that. As far as cleaning is concerned the whole gym and all equipment are cleaned and dusted on a daily basis.
Negative experience: Terrible experience. For a long-term member of Plus Fitness, I recently had a particularly bad customer experience. Since there have been a lot of fraudulent use of bank cards in the past two years, I usually have two accounts, and the bank account I bind to the gym often doesn’t put much money in it. One day after I ate out and just swiped my card, then the gym sent me the deduction information. As it happened, I didn’t have enough money to pay for two weeks of gym fees. At this time, the bank deducted $5 (unpaid fee)from me,and I reacted immediately and went directly to the gym the next day to try to repay the money to the staff, but they didn't accept it. Then on the third day, I received an additional $15.9 dishonor fee. Yes, this is ridiculous. It is equivalent to me needing to pay an additional $20.9 in fees(This does not include gym fees paid every two weeks), just because my deduction failed. In fact, I went to the gym immediately the next day to try to pay the fee, but the gym employee refused. As for the unpaid fee of $5 and the dishonour fee of $15.9, when I signed the agreement with the gym staff, they did not inform me at all. The terms only stated "unpaid fee", but did not specify the specific amount. They just stated The definition of "unpaid fee "does not describe how to solve it. You can't find anyone to help you, including talking to the gym staff directly or sending an email to Plus Fitness.
Liu it is unfortunate that you had a bad experience. However, it is the responsibility of the member to maintain adequate funds in their account for direct debit, failing which dishonour fees are charged as was done in your case. If you do not want to incur dishonour fee in the future then please ensure that there is sufficient funds in your account. Gym staff are always available during staffed hours to assist and explain to you.

Negative experience: The smallest gym in the area, and the smallest I’ve ever been to. I can’t imagine what it’d be like at peak times. I don’t recommend this place and don’t waste your time. I had a terrible experience here. I initially signed up online with the intention of going to classes as advertised on the website at the time. I provided screenshots of the website. Upon visiting the gym I was told there were no classes at all. I asked to cancel the membership. After paying over $100 in fees already, I was asked to pay an additional couple weeks to cancel, just over $60. They emailed back and forth with the agreement and referred to different sections. Even though I referred to 2 sections that were not met in the agreement, they continued to persist to pay and only could freeze it for 1 month. It was absurd. They even said in an email numerous times, I quote “As said to you in our previous email ‘at the moment we are not doing classes’ the reason for this is our members are not interested in classes.” - clearly misleading advertising for people like myself to sign up then have to deal with cancellation fees after finding out there are no classes. Given the money was insignificant to me, I decided to cut my losses and pay the additional $60 or so, and not bother any more. My time is more valuable. I have separate emails from 2 staff, Amer and Laxmi.. all over a cancellation. It’s actually laughable to read the staff on their high horse referring to sections of the agreement. They also ask people to give them a 5 star review for a discount haha rock bottom.

Negative experience: I was trying to find a new gym near me. Plus seemed good by the website presentation. Called in on Saturday morning to get an access to see how it looks. Was advised that it will be unstaffed this day. I was desperate to get some exercise done so joined online. No access instructions were provided just direct debit setup email. Called multiple times no answer. Finally before 1pm on Saturday someone called back and said I can come to collect my key card. Rushed and arrived at the location. Instead of showing me around I’ve been asked to sign for the card. Finally after asking if someone can do the tour and show me the gym the guy (the owner) showed me the club. I knew I won’t be staying there straight away. There no appropriate equipment at the facility, just heavy lifting. Everything is very old and outdated, no proper shower, just the disabled bathroom they say they use as a changing room too, no classes live at the gym at all, no lockers, windows haven’t been cleaned for ages, dark old and depressing gym to be at! After I finished my tour I went down to cancel it straight away and no one was at the office already! I tried to find an email or phone number to cancel it but nowhere to be found. I went there first thing after work on Monday and returned the key I never even used. The guy at the gym said I will be cancelled free of charge. Which is what I expected as I never used the gym or card! And it’s 7 day cool off period. Then the next day I received an email saying that I will be charged for the card and two days of gym use! How ridiculous is that?! I tried to negotiate but the owner seems to be one desperate greedy man and he refused my free cancellation that I’ve been advised I will have. So it’s proving me with false information and charging me with services I haven’t received. No one explained me about terms and conditions and about card fees are not refundable I found way after at the very end of it. Nothing on card form was saying it and that cool off period I have to pay for! Dishonest business, poor service and low standard facilities. Reporting this place! By the way- they are buying good reviews by offering free water bottle! How pathetic is that?! Stay away!
You signed up online and agreed to the terms and conditions which clearly stated that the card fee was non refundable. Besides, you came in to collect your key outside staffed hours and the gym was considerate enough to get one if it’s staff members to wait for you to come and collect your key card. When you wanted to cancel we did that immediately and as per the terms and conditions which did not include refund of the card fee. Now that you are not getting a refund of the card fee you are writing this biased review to damage the reputation of the gym. In view of this your comments are not justified.

Negative experience: Extremely poor customer service. They do not care about keeping the members happy for a long term membership, only care about instant money. The facilities are also quite deficient.
Please note that while you have the right to express your opinion about the gym, being aggressive and rude with the staff is completely unacceptable and one cannot demand to be served while being insulting and intimidating. The managers in the gym will contact you shortly about your unacceptable behaviour with the staff.
Positive experience: So far, so good.. equipment is older, but mostly well maintained.. No heating!!! Freezing inside gym on a cold winter mornings. - update: Waiting for waterloo to reopen after renovations.. .. today I expected to return but no update!

Positive experience: I've been a member for about 2 years. It has all the gym floor equipment I need without the fancy frills of some other fancier gyms. The price per fortnight is fair and ok value for money, but given the other higher end gyms close by they need to make sure that equipment doesn't degrade too much and that repairs get done quickly. Some of the machines are getting old with parts coming off, etc. They also need to make sure the air conditioning is working all weekend. Doesn't really have clean enough showers to warrant use, which is a detractor.

The gym is 2 levels of great machines well equipped for any of your fitness workout regimes. Truly happy and friendly staff who love to help when there is help needed.
Negative experience: Disgusting customer service; manager is so incredibly incompetent and rude and they make cancelling as difficult as possible, refuse to listen and keep declaring that "policy is policy" in order to leech as much money from customers as possible. A serious inquiry needs to be done into how this company operates
All cancellations are done with a 2 week notice period as per the membership agreement that all members sign. Staff are just following the standard operating procedures and in no way trying to "leech" money. Please check your membership agreement if you need to confirm this.
Fantastic experience: Middle sized gym but it’s a great facility to have around the residential blocks.Equipments are top of the line . Definitely recommend .
Positive experience: Plenty of equipment, reasonable size. I see staff sitting around doing nothing a lot of the time when they should probably be cleaning for covid. They resell ikea towels in the vending machines for more money which is probably illegal.
Alex, we have a very rigorous cleaning schedule which is diligently followed by our staff. A lot of the work of the covid marshalls involves sitting around and observing people to ensure that they are following hygiene rules.
Negative experience: I went in for a quick tour of the place. The equipment seemed ok but what discouraged me was the staff who seemed shady and disenguinous. When trying to get me to sign up they used the old "get this special offer which ends tomorrow" pressure. Luckily I wasn't born yesterday and didn't fall for it. Gyms shouldn't be about selling to the customer using used car salesman techniques. The gym itself should do that.. honestly if they didn't try to sell it to me I might have actually joined. The other negative reviews here about shady practices doesn't help set the bar either.
