Fantastic experience: The staff are great here they are always happy to answer any questions myself or my partner have no matter what they are going through, I have found they are always professional.

Positive experience: It pretty well maintained. Unfortunately as I just found out you need to provide your own equipment to use in the hydro pool.

Positive experience: Great indoor facilities. They have a few technical issues with the pool occasionally. But when it's all running well it's great.

Negative experience: Gym instructor on Friday on 10/05/24 told everyone In the gym 15 minutes before closing that we have 5 mins left then we need to leave, he’s done this on multiple occasions and it just makes the atmosphere awkward for everyone, the other instructors stay until close and don’t push people to leave so they can go home early, I pay to use the gym during operating hours and that’s what i expect to get.

Positive experience: The pool is too small to accommodate everyone . The swimming lessons take over the place.

Positive experience: Fantastic facility only negative I would give is that the hot pool / therapy pool / spa close at 7:30pm when the rest of the centre remains open. People who commute to melbourne for work and need this pool don’t get much time before it closes

Negative experience: Moved from 5 stars to one star following closure of 25 metre pool & changes to swim classes for children. Poor customer service. Issues not addressed in a timely manner & so far no credit or refund in sight. Phone calls not returned, emails not returned. When you change the service we agreed to pay for & fall short on other agreements you must reimburse or credit your client. It's the most simple & basic principle in business. I could go on but I'll leave it there for now. I called Hume and the operator transferred me to a disengaged tone. You need to do better. Great spa. A bigger indoor pool is urgently required.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic Venue as I am recovering from a Stroke. The amenities are first class, clean, with easy parking facilities. Being a Local resident I will continue on with my weekly Hydrotherapy Sessions. NB

Negative experience: The staff are nice, and a few of the facilities are good. However, it’s definitely not worth getting a membership if you are interested in swimming. The outdoor pool is hardly ever open, even on beautiful sunny days (for example today it’s 24 degrees and bright sunshine but it’s closed). I think it’s open super early in the morning, but most of the time, even over summer it’s mostly closed. That means that the indoor pool is used as a “play pool” especially during weekends leaving only 2-3 lanes for lap swimming, and they are almost always full. The indoor pool is also far too hot to have an enjoyable workout swim in, even through there is a hot water pool in the room next door. The spa and steam room are pretty manky too. It could be great, but the lack of lanes in a swimming pool is a real problem. Having the outdoor pool always closed because it’s “too cold” even in the middle of summer just makes no sense. Overall, this place isn’t swimmer friendly, really it’s just an indoor play pool for kids (most of the time) and a hot therapy pool for the elderly etc (which is fine, it’s just a shame that there’s no where really set up for lap swimming).

Fantastic experience: Evans Street Physiotherapy tel 97441204 hold their hydrotherapy sessions at the aquatic centre. I found reception staff welcoming and helpful. There are 2 pools. One to the right on entry was very warm and a number of mature people found it comfortable. The other pool appears to be a lap pool. Both appeared to be clean. There is a carpark across the road or on the road. I can highly recommend this place.

Positive experience: Unfortunately as much as I like it, I have caught a flu like virus twice in2 months. Being house bound must be pool. Difficult to find a dry area to change, too many kids

Negative experience: Staff are lovely. The toilets and change rooms are filthy and very dirty. Wrist bands, toilet paper on the floor. Very Unhygienic. Rusted toilet roll holders and rusted basin/shower fittings. Dirty floors and dirty toilets. These should all be checked and a cleaning schedule provided and signed hourly. Rusted fittings behind toilets as well. Dirty shower curtains . If you go for a steam room visit, there is no shower (being repaired, but how long does it take) - even though there’s a Sign to shower before entering either the steam room or spa. To fill your water bottle if in the spa/steam room, one needs to walk down the other end of the pool area or enter the hydro area to refill a water bottle! Suggestion : if in the process of repairing the shower in the spa/steam room (plumbing?), provide another water refill system at the entrance to the spa/steam room. Would make sense and is a common complaint for many who attend this area. Suggestion: Provide regular cleaners for the toilets/change rooms, as multiple people use these on a daily basis. Many public toilets have a chart on the wall which is signed by cleaning companies to ensure the hygiene level is maintained (especially these days with the rampant covid virus). Nice place - just needs to be more hygienic.

Negative experience: Negatives: Unfortunately the Indoor pool just keeps getting worse. The water temp is absolutely cranked up to something close to 30 degrees which is just unbearable for any actual lap swimming. The visibility on some occasions is also a big problem, on some visits it’s been so cloudy I can’t see beyond 10 metres. Positives: The staff are always nice, friendly and professional. The outdoor 50m pool over summer is always in good condition. Just wish it was open more often. Please please just turn down the temperature on the indoor lap pool. It shouldn’t be a warm water pool when there’s one right next to it.

Negative experience: So we turned up here for a casual visit to the Gym..$28. She said " The prices have gone up inline with all the other gyms". You are a council owned, taxpayer built and funded gym, you should be pro iding this at a much lower rate than the local private gyms ( which do infact, cost less for a casual session than your gym). Disgusting that taxpayer built and funded amenities are now used as a money driven big business!

Positive experience: Staff are always friendly, polite and try their best to be accommodating. Recently they have fixed the shower in the spa and steam room area. It took less than two weeks after they were made aware of how badly it was operating. Could be improved by putting the rubber mats down in the large shower/change rooms and keeping the fan on in the other bathrooms for the families, etc.

Fantastic experience: Great outdoor large lap pool, medium pool for young kids , and baby pool- all outdoors with lots grass and covered areas. Price is most reasonable I've seen anywhere! Usually not very busy. Great staff! Big indoor warm pool open all year with metal bench seating running along entire perimeter of pool. Really well done for a facility that's been around a few years. Never disappoints!

Negative experience: I have visited Broadmeadows , Craigieburn and Sunbury ,Staff in Sunbury very rude and need to go to kindergarten to learn how to speak to people with respect. Pools always full , so you pay membership to swim at least twice a week and always full or booked for training. Why you taking memberships if you don't have a space?

Positive experience: No thrills centre. Nowhere to hang clothes while your workout in the gym. If you intend on having a shower and getting dressed in business attire after your workout dont go here. The staff have no idea how to solve this. As this is a council run establishment the staff are unfortunately like sheep. They can only say "I'll report it to my mamager".

Fantastic experience: Here I go again, getting back to a decent level of fitness. I'm dreading the pain! Sunbury Aquatic Centre is great. Three studios, gym and two pools inside and a 50m pool outside for summer. Friendly staff and instrctors. It's clean and great equipment.i just wish they had 24/7 access to the gym.

Positive experience: Exceptionally friendly staff. I mentioned that I was new to the area and they didn’t hesitate to stop what they were doing and give me a tour. Lovely clean facilities. Being autumn, the 25m indoor pool does get super busy after school/bus hours which makes things a little tricky. Otherwise great.

Positive experience: This swim centre is fairly good. Its a pity the outdoor 50 metre pool is not open all year round as its great to swim in. The indoor 25 metre pool is not great for lap swimming as its hot, the roof is too low & it can be congested. The indoor change rooms are weird, as from memory the showers/toilet are in a separate room to where you actually change. In essence, when the 50 metre pool is open this place is fine, however the 25 m indoor pool is not up to scratch for lap swimming. The only pool in the area with a good indoor & outdoor 50 metre pool is in melton. Basically with growing populations outer suburban councils really need to develop really good pool facilities. Most pools on the fringes of Melbourne do not meet current community standards. In the case of sunbury their facilities are better than most however they should try & promote the outdoor 50 metre pool so it can be open all year round.

Negative experience: The indoor pool water temperature is too hot to swim laps for most of the year and the chlorine level pappear way to high, but the high temp of the water may make it feel like it. No other pool in the area ie gisborne, kyneton, Melton etc is this hot. It's shocking. The staff are good. The out door pool in the summer months are fantastic. Turn down the indoor pool temp. Even the kids who do squad training are affected by the pool temp.

Negative experience: The first time to come here cuz the warm water pools, but really disappointed, too crowded with swimming lessons as the place too small, only 2 small inside pools, only 2 toilets and 2 cover shower rooms, was not happy at all and never ever will come back to this place anymore, not worth at all
