Negative experience: I will never come to this franchise again in future. They just care about money and their customer service is just . I asked them to pause my membership for two weeks but they failed to do so and they keep on charging money from my account. I asked Jason why I am still charged for that and he said that I will get the refund back. I keep on asking about why I haven’t received the payment for those two weeks and they keep on saying that I will get my refund back. after chasing so many times I stopped the payment and after that they called me to pay the due amount and I told them I did that because I don’t like their customer service and I don’t want to keep on chasing as this gym membership is not cheap. Now they send this matter to the debt collection. I don’t want to give even a single star to them. I joined the fitbase gym and their facility and fees are so much better than the Anytime fitness

Negative experience: EDIT: your below response is appalling. No one has emailed me back for almost 2 months despite my numerous upon numerous attempts to follow up and provide the information you've asked for, and you ask me to contact you directly while continuing to take money from my account when I'm medically unwell. ---- So disappointing , I had a number of "annoyances" regarding my membership that I let go, but when I needed to cancel my membership under the medical clause on advice from my doctor , they didn't respond to my emails and when they did, said they would need confirmation and details from my doctor about my diagnosis and expected recovery time. I followed this up with Consumer Affairs Victoria who confirmed this was in breach of legislation regarding unfair contract terms AND my right to privacy regarding my medical information. I advised them of this this and STILL haven't heard from them and they continue debiting money from my account. Absolutely appalling. Would not recommend AF for this, zero integrity and out to steal people's money.

Negative experience: The Anytime Fitness in cranbourne has unfortunately gone down hill in 2023-24. It used to be a good gym with a good environment/people a good sense of community, however. The forced recent price increase to nearly $30pw without a renewal of contract or an email addressing this change genuinely isn't worth it. Just under $1500 a year is a bit of a joke for what is actually offered, they try to justify the pricing with "free classes" that wouldn't benefit anyone with even a few months of training experience. equipment isn't maintained to a good standard, variety of equipment isn't there. The gym unfortunately doesn't have equipment that would would consider "staples" of a commercial gym. Overall if you're looking for a gym you would be better off going elsewhere, the fitness industry is so oversaturated you will find a better gym within a 5 minute drive from Anytime Fitness Cranbourne 1. At a better price from $8-14.95pw 2. More versatile/greater variety of equipment. 3. Better reception team/staff in general. I've given a 2 to be reasonable with feedback listed. Regards,

Fantastic experience: The staff at Anytime Fitness were very friendly and happy to help me set up a personalised program to achieve my fitness goals. Also all of the exercise equipment available in the gym is modern, clean and in great condition.

Negative experience: Have requested them to cancel my membership last week and still they are deducting the money, I’m overseas and making them calls to check the email that I sent a week ago and cancel my membership, but no answer . Good way to steal peoples money.

Negative experience: Very worst experience with that club because they tried to charge money for everything i ask them my access pass not working they said you need to buy new fob key we charge $99 for that and i freeze my membership for 8 weeks they emailed me we can freeze for 6 weeks i said ok after that still charging money i did not recommend go in this club

Negative experience: Very disappointed with the customer service from Anytime Fitness. I bought a 6 month membership and have 4 months left. After a medical issue, I asked if I could transfer my membership to my husband as I wasn’t able to use the facilities anymore. They saw this as an opportunity to make more money from me and wanted me to pay another 100 just for the transfer. All they care about is money and not their customers and the issues they are dealing with. Upon joining, they act very friendly to get you to sign up but after that they don’t care about their customers. They do not make it clear in any of the sign up documents that you cannot transfer the membership even though this is paid in full. The venue is very small and has little equipment. Better of spending your money elsewhere.

Negative experience: I went to this gym for 2.5 years. If you’re going to sign up to anytime, don’t come to Cranbourne anytime fitness. Extremely over priced, overpopulated and equipment is rarely maintained. I would expect more from a gym costing $1000+ a year. To top it off staff were extremely unprofessional when cancelling my membership.

Negative experience: Manipulation of minors happens at any time fitness, they sign your kids up without parental consent for Membership and then try and chase you for money when they shouldn’t even have done it in the first place

Negative experience: Price jumped from 17.95 to 26.95 without any notice. Reason from staff was u changed ur home gym. Just used other AF gym as this gym was getting renovated, perks of u can use any AF gym across the nation.

Negative experience: Wanted to get information about a membership, after waiting for another anytime fitness franchise to open, asked if I could go on the same rate. Every question was “no sorry, we can’t do that” “no sorry doesn’t work like that” etc. Wasn’t asked about my fitness goals, wasn’t asked to see the gym, didn’t tell me why it was worth the price increase. Etc. In reality, it was an extra $2 a week, which isn’t an issue, but it’s the fact that the person on the other line, just didn’t care enough to explain. I’ll try a whole different gym in general.

Hi Adam, you would have enquired here at some point if you are getting sms, at the bottom of every sms you have the option to OPTD out. All you have to do is choose that option if you do not wish to receive them. Another option is to pick up the phone and call us and let us know so we can remove your number too. Negative experience: Jason has zero customer services skills. Maybe if you have no issues he is polite, however if there is an issue he has no insight into the inconvenience to a paying customer and absolutely refuses to take any responsibility. Anytime Fitness Cranbourne failed to notify me of the gym closure for renovation sighting the reason is due to unsubscribing from their rag email. Anyone with a brain should know that important information shouldn’t be communicated via the same method as the daily basic things. Then after having to explain to Jason via several emails why the communication was inadequate he still had not even acknowledged the frustration caused to me and he lacked basic customer service skills. He just repeated how he did nothing wrong and it was all my fault. So a couple of weeks later, again the gym reopened and I was not notified despite being signed back up to the rag email. When I notified Jason he just told me I had been sent a text and if I didn’t get it then I must have done something wrong. I’m sure that gym looks pretty, but it is far too small to be accommodating the extra people that have convinced to sign up due to the new renovations and I would not recommend that gym. Heaven forbid you ever have an issue that needs to be sorted by Jason. Spare yourself the pain After reading the response I’d like to add that a few swear words came out in an email due to the utter repeated incompetence of Jason’s communication. I’m not the professional in this conversation and I didn’t put anyone’s mental health at risk. They would just like to make it look like I’m unreasonable when in fact Jason’s communication skills seriously need mending so clients are not pushed to the brink with the lack of communication given to a paying customer. They should be ashamed of themselves. After 10 emails complaining about the lack of communication of the closure of the gym you’d think the communication for the re-opening might have made it through to me. But it didn’t. I’m now over joyed with Jetts Fitness service. Definitely a better option for anyone. Go there instead.

Also i would encourage you follow socials so you dont miss any info or just check socials from time to time. A Reminder that anytime fitness will not tolerate abuse, name calling or bullying directed towards any staff member as mentinoed to you earlier today after some of the serious comments you made. Fantastic experience: Absolutely love the environment and all the staff members at anytime fitness. Everyone is so welcoming and encouraging, taking the time to know you whilst also encouraging you to just do your best. Love it here and always recommend to locals in the area :)

Fantastic experience: Great Gym. Not the biggest and of course I’d like a few more machines but it’s very comfy and what they have here is of good quality.

Fantastic experience: Could not recommend this gym more!! In particular, I had amazing experiences with the PT abbi. She was so lovely, and I felt like she genuinely cared about my fitness journey. Not only did I achieve my goals, but I had fun while doing it!

Fantastic experience: I would recommend to anyone whatever their levels of fitness to try the Shane's classes. I join his Saturday classes before I head to work. I really enjoy his classes. They are fun, very informative and He really takes the time to ensure it is tailored to your individual fitness level. He keeps you motivated and encourages you to progress and challenge yourself. I have seen an improvement not only in my fitness but in my general confidence when exercising. His positive attitude and warmth really puts you at ease making exercise enjoyable and not intimidating.

Fantastic experience: My favourite gym to come into! I don’t live in Cranbourne and could easily access an anytime closer to home but I love how spacious and clean the facilities are. The staff in the office, especially Kat, are so welcoming and friendly here.

Fantastic experience: While AF Cranbourne may not have stacks of equipment, at the moment, I prefer the environment and atmosphere. The staff are super friendly and if you need help they are there for you. Even the other fellow gym goers are nice too, so if you feel a bit nervous about starting a new gym I recommend checking it out and giving it a go!
