Negative experience: This place is the biggest scam EVER!!! I signed up with Shanae . Tried to cancel three days after because the price they were charging me was more than what we agreed on so I walked to the office and cancelled and they still kept 160+ but said they would cancel the membership. Afew months later they started taking 16.95 every 2 weeks out of my account. I had to go back down there and asked them to cancel again . They said they would refund and they never did and are still taking money out of my account. BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THEM

Negative experience: My experience with world gym Malaga has been worse experience of my life ,they are fraud,they have deducted about $570 from my account without letting me know even though I have called Times ,cancelled my membership ,I have been reassured by staff this will be last payment and few weeks later again money has been taken from my account ,it has been happening from 6 months ,I am literally harassed, financially stressed because I don't know when and how much money they take even I never use gym ,only went once when I joined for an hour after that I had no time to go but I kept on calling them for cancellation ,their customer representatives always saying that was the last payment when spoken to manager last month she said "we had change in management ,we don't know what they promised you",I want to take legal action against them ,I won't recommend anyone to take membership of this gym ,I been to jett Beechboro for years never had such issues.World gym has given me a lot of stress ,actually they literally drained me out ,I am just shocked again they messaged me yesterday for more money instead returning ,I called them this morning they are again asking $54 ,I am just fed up ,can someone please help me. Please don't join them

Negative experience: This is the worst gym in Perth. I wish I could give them 0 star. Customer service 0 the stuff have no experience in customer service. The stuff females that work there come for different purposes. They talk inappropriately called so many times they don’t pick up or leave you on hold and never get back to you. They give false information to customers. Compared to other gym places very bad and without any useful equipments. They don’t help or show around people that doesn’t know how to use some equipments I have seen so many people using dangerous equipments wrong and tried to help. All the women stuff needs to be replaced because your gym is losing lots of customers due to their unfriendly attitude towards customers and weird looks and judgments towards customers with different body types. The only reason I joined this gym is to give motivation to a friend because that’s what your gym claims to give people as a body builder even though I have all the necessary equipments at home. Biggest regrets is joining this gym. I recommend you buying equipments yourself and working out from home much hygienic environment and non judgemental. I hope your company looks after this review and takes action the sooner the better.

Facilities are good, with included sauna and reformer pilates. Equipment is good overall. It does everything you need and is in good condition. Overall, worth a visit.

Fantastic experience: i recently joined this gym due to coming with my friends, the staff were so welcoming. As well as working around being a full time student, they were very supportive on working on a membership that worked for me.

Negative experience: Also wish to give zero stars. Did Pilates classes there for six months, instructors were great, enjoyed my time. DO NOT get a membership there, the admin side of things is absolutely a joke. They also kept taking payments from my account AFTER I had finished my contracted time and sent in the cancellation form in plenty of time. They NEVER answer emails. I had to physically go in to discuss getting two payments refunded, so far I’ve managed to get one refund. Been going on since beginning of August, with the latest being they “don’t have my bank details”, when they clearly do! I’ll probably not even bother trying to get the other payment refunded as they are USELESS to deal with.

Negative experience: This is a worst place. I wish I could give them 0 star. Customer service was so bad. My card was not working every 6 weeks and when I called to ask they didn’t even given me a reason, told me to go home and wait after 3 weeks I still haven’t got my card back. I canceled my membership in July and money still comes out from my bank account until today. The owner should be aware of this. I heard so many bad things about the staff members and I rather to drive far then going to a fitness place like this.

Negative experience: WARNING!!! AS MANY HAS SHARED IN OTHER REVIEW. THIS PLACE IS POORLY MANAGE! Easy to get in but if you need to terminate your membership, you have to served a 30 days notice period and in spite of that, if you are paying with autodebit, the 30 days notice period not starting from the day you do your submission. Ridiculous. Bad service and attitude. They should be offering the pro-rate charge if they already knew that if the membership validity is tied to the key tag, they should do a pro-rate charge from the day the autodebit is deducted. Now I have paid for a week, but they can't guarantee that I can access the gym for the last week of serving my notice. Speechless!

Do not waste your money going there I cancelled my membership over 6 weeks ago for 4 weeks they kept on taking money from my account.I paid for the cancellation fee which was nearly $400 and now they are still charging me every week

Negative experience: Do not waste your valuable money on the Malaga branch. Like people have mentioned below, poor communication, lack of knowledge, do not answer the phone during “staffed hours” or email back. Double the price for nothing different from your standard gym so don’t trouble yourself. HOWEVER what they will do, is their team member Bernadette will come up to you when you’re on the treadmill and ask to see your personal bank statement to prove how much you pay a week to support the fact you have a passport membership and have access to all WA gyms. Then when you finally get through to them on the phone and expand on the multiple occasions they make you feel unwelcome hence wanting to terminate your membership, they will not flinch at that story nor apologise or show empathy. If you need to do your job, use your initiative and use my name to locate when and where I signed up and access my contract on your system. You don’t ask to see someone’s bank account. It’s honestly like walking into a school full of kids who whisper and gossip and wear a world gym uniform. So much for female empowerment - how embarrassing for you. Don’t bother escalating anything to the assistant manager either, you’ll quickly learn where they get it from. I was more than happy to just pay the cancellation fee (which they also couldn’t get right) just so I could erase all association with them. Once again, don’t waste your money. Just go for a run.

Negative experience: Fine until cancelling membership. Tried to get into contact with them for weeks telling me they'd send the cancellation forms through on email. They didn't until I followed up another 2 times. Now it's been over the 30 days that I still had to pay after cancellation and they're still taking money out of my account. I also searched my bank and in the last month since cancelling they have charged me over $200 and have not given a reason. I have called and emailed multiple times and have been ignored. This is disgusting Over a week later since original review and still trying to get into contact with them and no luck. Over $250 taken in the last month now.

Negative experience: My friend and I saw an ad on Instagram for 2 weeks of free class trials at this gym, they sent me an appointment time via SMS that I hadn't booked, yet I came in anyway. It's an absolute scam. It's a lock-in contract for over $150 + per week, when I refused she began changing up the prices and was so pushy and forced me to sign the contract before leaving. Which took SO long as their iPad is so slow and takes forever. Luckily I escaped without putting down my card details. Later that night me and my friend got harassed with phone calls. 10+ calls in a row spamming me from 2 different numbers. So unprofessional!! Early in the morning I also received another few calls. I called the Worlds Gym Malaga to speak to the manager about this and she was not helpful at all, totally unprofessional and sassy and said that's what they do. ( almost sure she may have been the one spam calling ) such an unprofessional and money-hungry place!! DO NOT RECOMMEND. Immature workers. (Please be wary of THE MANY FAKE RATINGS and reviews that have been left by none other than the employees themselves, Also, the names of those who had repeatedly spammed me are, Calista and Shanae. It is very clear that the owner has not done their part in training staff and management properly. this place is very desperate, please do not give this gym your money!)

Negative experience: I’ve been a member of world gym Malaga since last year in September, I’ve been happy with all the equipment, my down point has been the fees and they are not being upfront about all fees included, such as facility fee which I didn’t even know about it and they just charged me on my account as well as my weekly fee. There wasn’t any explanation about it when I asked what it was. There is a very poor communication amongst staff, emails aren’t checked and answered in a timely manner. Over all, they are very money hungry and look for any opportunities to charge extra. For the above reasons, I cancelled my membership.

Negative experience: The quality is unmanageable. Since February 2024, all equipment uses different units of measurement. Additionally, some specific equipment still does not have a unit of measurement number assigned, even after more than 2 months. Some weights are measured in kilograms, but there is a significant difference in weight perception.

I have been trying to cancel my membership for several months to no avail. They ignore all your communication and continue to charge you despite everything! I only attended their gym once due to poor health and they do not care but continue to charge my account. What a shame!!!

Negative experience: I made to a phone call to have some informations about the gym, group fitness and costs, didn't want to tell me much and insisted to make an appointment with a member of the staff. Don't have a timetable or any information bout cost on their website. I made the appointment in the evening, when I went there I specifically explained that I was looking for group classes in the afternoon, (only time I can attend) The team member after showing the gym, and the group classes area she pointed out with her finger at all the classes they had in the AM(even though I asked for afternoon classes and I specified this more the once) , the timetable was a small screen I pad style on the wall, placed in the group fitness area while there was a class going on. I didn't noticed that that the gruppo fitness lessons she pointed out were in the morning, even if I told her I wanted to have a think about, she try very much to sell the membership offering a better deal and discount but I had to sign it in that instant. So I did. 10 minutes after when i went home I realised what happened, the group fitness classes she was pointing out with her finger were at 6 am,(available every day of the week) on the other hand in the evening they have only 3 days training classes scheduled.. THE day after at 7 am, so 12 hours later, I cancelled My membership, no refund was given even though I was whiting the 7 days cooling off period. The team member I met at the gym was very pushy to get me sign the membership plus she was misleading as I specifically asked for afternoon group classes saying I attend the gym 4 times a week only in the PM. . She never mentioned that in the afternoon they have only 3 days were group fitness are scheduled. But Not only, she pointed out with her finger to the Clasess in the morning at that was all. Didn't say a word about the availability in the evening My bad i didn't pay attention, but I was very clear about was I was looking for! But definetly not happy with this selling stile /approach and misleading communication.

Negative experience: Do not get lured by the managers. They start with a quote that it's just 5 dollars for the first five weeks. However 139$ ~ 199$ just to start the membership and all options they offer has a 12 month commitment. I was asked to pay 400$ just to the cancel the membership . They say there are other options that I could have chosen If I was unhappy with it, but they will never write that down on anywhere or explain it to you first. Very unhappy about the service and how they run the business.

If your contract end and you are forced to leave WA there is Zero understanding at this place and they will keep chasing you for contract payment. Even when you are unemployed and have no money, they will send your details to a Debt collector to chase you and your debt will very quicly ballon to a ridiculous amount. And the debt collector do not answer the phone. watch out.
