Positive experience: It's one of the best Anytime I've seen so far, in the West . Clean , with equipment in good conditions. When i go to North Parramatta or Merrylands compared to her for the same price , it is another level. You feel they're stealing you the money compared.

Fantastic experience: I went in on a Thursday afternoon to check out the gym for the first time. Was pleasantly welcomed into the gym by multiple staff... Was also happy to see a good range of equipment and dumbbells up to 60kg. During my workout one of the staff members, Ana asked how my workout was going which made me smile... Would definitely recommend trying anytime Wentworthville

Negative experience: I’ve been a member of Anytime Fitness for ages, and I can’t believe how let down I am by the recent price jump from $80 to $100 a month. I was okay with the increase from $70 to $80, but this latest hike feels totally out of line, especially when the gym's facilities and equipment are far from impressive. At $26 a week, there’s absolutely no value for what they’re charging. It really feels like they’re just trying to squeeze more money out of us without delivering anything worthwhile in return. I’ve also heard there’s been a change in management, and it seems like things have only gotten worse since then. Honestly, I would steer clear of this gym if I were you. Save yourself the headache and your hard-earned money—there are so many better options out there that actually value their members. Don’t even consider signing up here; you’ll be disappointed! If I could give 0 stars, I would.

Fantastic experience: Been a member here at Wentworthville for a while now. Staff have always been super accommodating especially Bree, she's always helped me out! Customer service is the best i've seen in comparison to other gyms by far! Gym always smells good, always tidy and hygienic, great atmosphere to train in! Huge range of equipment and plenty of parking! Strongly recommend training here especially if your a newbie to the gym as the staff are so helpful and made me feel so comfortable when starting my fitness journey. The pricing is very fair considering the amount of support you get as well as everything thats involved with the membership! 10/10

Negative experience: Don’t bother. We all been hit with a 40% increase with no email to pre-warn. Outdated equipment, cramped and it smells upstairs. Thanks Anytime Fitness for looking after your long term members with 10 years plus. Gave it 2 stars because Woolies is next door and meeting some cool ppl there. Now looking to jump ship with a bunch of others who too also been blindsided.

Negative experience: Extremely disappointed with Anytime Fitness. They increased the monthly fee without any prior warning, which feels like a complete rip-off. The gym itself is small, cramped, and lacks decent equipment. What is there is outdated, and the upstairs area has a constant bad smell. For the price they’re charging now, I would expect way better facilities and maintenance. No improvements, just a higher bill. Not worth the money. I’ll be switching to a different gym.

Negative experience: Don’t join this gym , or get into any contract , due to heart palpitations I can go gym for the time being ,I send them medical as well , but they keep debiting my account , it’s like stealing money from your account , don’t know why these people so greedy .will be complaining in fair trading .. joking any gym but not this and Toongabbie branch as that belongs to them too ..

Negative experience: Worst experience! It seems they were not cooperative while cancellation of membership, even after emailing and calling them for 2 weeks, they responded and forced me to come over to cancel membership. Gym is stinky and compact

Positive experience: Its a bit expensive for a gym that is smaller than the one I was going to before and it was $6-7 cheaper. Such a shame as its so close to home, but if you're loaded unlike me then this one still gives you what you need.

Negative experience: Im glad most of the recent reviews of this place is on the same page as I am. I had called and messaged a few times to terminate my membership and when they finally did come back to me through email they told me I had to come into the gym in person to sign papers even though I had told them several times I was overseas and not able to. After finally getting in touch via phone call they told me I had to pay outstanding arrears before termination so after paying months of membership and late fees and had again tried getting in touch only for them to get back to me IN THE NEXT STARTING MONTH, deducting another month of gym fees and hearing nothing from them in the meantime. I thought I had concluded my termination with Wentwothville Anytime but they have charged me yet again after I had signed all digital forms and seemingly finished this apparently complicated process of cancelling a gym membership contract. **EDIT** not sure if that generic response was from a human or AI generated. Also forgot to mention at first they were giving me conflicting directions in regards to processing my termination.

Negative experience: I notified AF of my mother's passing weeks ago and they have since tacked on more fees to her membership and are threatening a debt collector EDIT 1: Anytime Fitness responded to this review asking me to reach out via email as if I haven't been in contact with them yet. In reality, our email thread started in May, so they're already aware. EDIT 2: Anytime Fitness eventually tacked on enough fees and did actually send a debt collector after my dead mother's estate. It'd be comical if it wasn't so heartless. Luckily, in my case, the debt collector (who probably bought that debt) immediately saw how ridiculous the situation was and forgave the debt. You might not be as lucky in your dealings. Go anywhere else. Look at other recent reviews to see other examples of poor behaviour.

Positive experience: Not always the cleanest gym, especially in the morning. Very busy after office hours. New machines and an overall good variety.

Negative experience: The gym itself is fairly decent but it's quite small. There's not a huge range of equipment to use and it can get quite messy with a lot of attachments and plates lying around everywhere. Overall it's on the lower end of gym's I've been to. I also think the staff could do a better job with running the place. I've found a new gym that works better for me and so I'm in the process of terminating my membership. I'm overseas but apparently I have to call the manager to properly terminate my contract. Taren has tried her best but she isn't seeming to understand that I can't call her and so she's not working with me to find a solution. Not a great experience.

Negative experience: Member cancelation is a very stressful procedure . i wrote them an email 2 weeks ago. they said it requires over the phone confirmation and 1 month notice. besides, the manger who cancel the membership looks like so so busy that the procedure left for two weeks already and not sure how long it will takes to finish. very very unprofessional .

Negative experience: This gym unfortunately became my primary gym as I train with my partner most evenings with no staff (thank goodness). If I could give it no stars, I would because this place shouldn't be opened. Aside from most members being having no gym etiquette - the staff themselves are terrible. Few examples below: 1) When my partner first signed up, they didn't bother giving him a tour of the gym. They were not enthusiastic about having to sign another member, displaying a dismissive attitude and a lack of interest in assisting members. 2) Called the gym to pause my membership for a while as I am in hospital after undergoing major health surgery - asked them if they can pause for me. They said they require an email, I asked if they can text it to me as being on the phone requires a large amount of strength. No texts for the next 24 hours. Trying to contact them the next day - no one to pick up the call. I don't recommend this gym for anyone who wants to complete their fitness goals.

Negative experience: If you want someone to threaten you with dept collectors every day at 12 noon and a membership that is binding until death I can recomend this gym.
Negative experience: At Anytime Fitness in Wentworthville, ……where you anticipate a muscle workout but end up stretching your patience instead.. Although the issue with my key activation wasn’t my fault, due to a activation issue from the other gym, the staff were unhelpful and kept insisting there was nothing they could do. After almost 20 minutes, just a minute shy of the key’s activation time, they finally allowed me guest access. Had my friends not been there, I might’ve thought twice about returning. The idea of using my friend’s access became an undue point of contention. Even another fitness center found this approach surprising. I wonder, had I registered at this branch (a fact they kept pointing out), would the experience have been smoother? Perhaps they were just having an off day, but a little assistance would have made all the difference.
Negative experience: Layout, smell, and overall feel has drastically improved since the renovation. If it weren't for the below issues, it would get 4 stars. There are some systemic issues that impacts my experience. There is an overall lack of gym etiquette that impacts my ability to effectively and safely train. - Not packing equipment away. There are mornings I go in and every single machine and squat rack has not been unracked. You blatantly see people not pack equipment away after using it. - People put their belongings on equipment they aren't using. I dont want to have to wait for you to ask you to move your phone and bottle so I can use a bench noone is using. - No sense of personal space or people. People walk over you whilst you're on a mat, stand next to you and talk loudly when you're training or yell across the gym. - No overall gym etiquette: My partner was supersetting on a machine (left her towel on it), walked away to perform the other exercise (not even gone for 30 seconds), and someone takes the plates off her machine when it was clearly obvious that they saw her use it. I have trained at gyms where the demographic were more challenging, and it was 100 times better than here. It wouldn't even be too bad if the offenders were customers, but every single point raised above, I have personally experienced from a staff member. If staff don't care, why should the customers care? Hence the systemic issue. I only come here out of convenience when I have time constraints. Winston Hills is 10minutes away and drastically better. There is a cool hip belt squat machine which is nice...
Positive experience: It’s rather small which is okay but means there’s less equipment and unfortunately there wasn’t a SINGLE piece of equipment or machine with multiple plates already loaded including basic benches. This is more of a reflection of the clients but rather inconvenient being the only female in there. General tidiness is well maintained though.
