Fantastic experience: Great place was there yesterday for about 5 hours 41°c. The only complaint I have is when it's that hot you should know it's going to be busier. The smaller pool about 3ft they had 4 lanes closed for swimming lessons. There would have been 50 people in about 2 lanes given to the public, which was extremely packed. On days like that, I would suggest closing off 2 lanes and having top and tail for all lessons. Yesterday, it would have then been 4 lanes open for the public and 2 for the swimming lessons. Only on days like that, which is not that often. Yesterday, a young girl between 6 and 8 years of age cut her head open, Next time, can you guide her to a private area to be treated. The girl sat there for a good half hour, for everybody to stare at, not knowing, all there whispers. It would not have been good for the young girl, it would not have calmed her, and for example, I have an autistic daughter who is afraid of blood. Please fix the disabled bathroom door, the one with the hoist to lift. My daughter and I were in there with the red button on showing the door was locked. At the end of showering and being dressed. In horror, all of a sudden, the door opened, it was one of your workers, she stated the door on the outside showed it was vacant. Luckily, we were just doing our hair, I would have been mortified if that door had opened while we were in birthday suits. I'm still keeping 5 stars, as most of these are just little things, and I love it there. I will change what I have said if these issues are rectified by the time I get there next.

Negative experience: So , i was at cardi life in the basketball stadium today with my friends and i got my drink and food and went off to sit on court 4 to watch my friends game. And next second me and my friends know is these 2 workers are coming upto us , they said we flipped someone off and cut threw courts , we didn’t so we told them our side of the story and that we didn’t do it and they told us if we’re not here for a brother we’re not allowed to be here and that’s the policy , then kicked us out threw the back doors. i have came to ymca for years and this is the most ridiculous things that’s happened to me.

Fantastic experience: They have 2 pools for the swimmers. There are no slides.

Negative experience: No knowledge or care of hygiene practices, They’ve failed to remove a child & there family who were sick & vomiting in the toddlers pool, cleaning up a small amount of the vomit but allowing the sick child & family to continue swimming. So disgusting.

Positive experience: 24 hours gym. Stadium for sports, swimming pools. Easily accessible

Positive experience: Over all its nice but gym area needs to be bit bigger with more free weight area considering the sire of the whole centre gym portion is too small

Negative experience: Absolutely no regard for someone with an assistance dog and how much that can cause anxiety and panic attacks. And the swim school is terrible and rude

Positive experience: very busy place - would highly recommend calling prior to coming for a leisure swim as theres lots of lessons in every pool - so limited area

Negative experience: FEES ONLY... NO SERVICE .... BETTER MOVE WITH SLASH Very bad customer service today from reception staff Cassie. Cardinia pool consideration is charge fees from its customers rather than giving a better service. I tried to get a make-up lesson for my kid, according to their new T &C without notifying absence they cannot do it. I'm sick of hearing it's term and conditions changes. Especially want to mention it's unprofessional management. Every time try to connect with a management they are not approachable. Fees only no service accordingly.

Fantastic experience: I rate the staff 5 stars. They have been nothing but kind and inclusive, supportive and welcoming for the past several years that we've been attending. I rate the facilities a 2. It's run down and dirty. Place definitely needs a face lift.

Fantastic experience: This place was massive, we watched a basketball match, a relatively big gym, spacious pool a massive multi basketball courts.

Negative experience: Great basketball centre, pool, and gym facilities, but the refereeing for domestic basketball is utterly atrocious. The older referees are pretty good, but the majority are young, picky and unfair. I would look elsewhere if you are looking to play domestic basketball.

Negative experience: If there would be a-ve rating I would love to give that. They keep changing the terms n conditions. The charge you but not ready to give the make up lessons even though someone on the phone had confirmed that. Very bad customer service. Very bad management for swim lessons. And the people on reception doesn't even keep their name tags on so you don't know with whom you talked and next time you go they don't even accept that someone from their end already approved something.

Positive experience: One of the instructors names Daniel, we found very rude and racist. Instead of doing his job but he’s pin pointing and doesn’t know how to talk with kids or adults with respect. It’s a lovely safe place, sadly such people work there. We had a v bad experience today.

Positive experience: The small pool walls and metal bars were very grimy, very put off by this. Needs to be cleaned more regularly with high usage.

Negative experience: I have been Recently been going causally swimming with my nephew teaching how to swim and have been told that if I was privately teaching him that I would be needing licensing ect for doing so, Which I believe that adult lessons would be more Expensive then paying casually for a swim also that things are already getting expensive anyway, Thus has really put a bad taste in my month and the Confidence from my nephew is a Shattered by the staff while walking out of the pool.

Negative experience: Terrible experience. Make sure they don't cheat you. I am sharing what happened with me. I was registered on direst debit for my kid's swimming lessons. I went to their desk and told the guy clearly that we are going out of Oz for a month and I need to suspend my membership. The guy asked for the date, and then told me that u can come any time and cancel it no worries. After a few days, when I went for cancelation, they told me that you can cancel but its a two weeks notice so for next fortnight, your amount will be deducted. I told them that your representative didn't mention any such thing a few weeks back and they come up with the very same old trick, 'it's in terms n conditions'. Worst than that, I told this to a friend and he said that his other fellows were scammed too in the very same manner. So, be careful if you're dealing with them. Facilitaties r OK but they are dodgy and unfair. Be vigilant. Not recommended at all.

Negative experience: Small crowded & suffocatingly humid swimming pool with overpriced swimming lessons.

Negative experience: Public was again crowded out by school and swim lessons. It is important that kids learn to swim but a better balance is needed in this facility than herding the public into one lane and saying sorry.

Negative experience: The Therapeutic pool is not at correct temperature of 32 degrees and staff are unable to do what is required.

Negative experience: Group fitness time table is terrible. Not worth joining. I can do virtual classes at home for free, why would I pay for it. The selection of evening classes is pathetic for a council leisure centre. Get something happening here please! Wasted facilities

Positive experience: I swim here at Cardinia Life. The staff are all really nice, good life guards too that are always attentive. I never have a problem getting a swim lane as I'm able to look on their website to check the best times to swim each week for lane availability. They have a small shop selling swimming gear and a small Cafe that I've not used yet. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the change rooms , floors and pool could be kept a little cleaner but others I love this local pool.

Positive experience: Can be extremely busy. It's hard to find even space to sit down while my son is having a class.

Negative experience: Very disappointed when purchasing at the cafe. Purchasing banana bread and they were nice large pieces then was given an end piece that was half the size and still had to pay full price. I asked if I could swap it and they said no. What a rip off!! At least make all the slices the same size then!! Not happy..

Positive experience: Long way from home ...good facilities....but weird.....

Negative experience: My kids and I love swimming, however it's hard to enjoy the pool with black mould growing on the sides of the baby pool. I'm sorry but please get it fixed and maintain the pools. I'd love to see some more kids water play added into the baby pool. The staff are lovely and I feel safe with the lifeguards constant surveillance. I'll change my rating when I next visit and see intentional cleaning results.

Fantastic experience: Love the diversity of facilities. Also do child swimming lessons here and wouldn't go anywhere else. Great value for money and the teachers are very engaging.

Negative experience: We were a group of 12 and not allowed in to the swimming pool by young lad on the counter saying the pool is full. Yet they let other 2 families go in right after we stepped out of the door. This is ridiculous and racist!

Fantastic experience: What you see is what you get. Simple and effective. Simple and clean layout of the building, little Cafe and very helpful staff. Perfect to bring the kids after school and in the holidays in summer for those quick no fuss cool off swims before dinner. The only thing that isn't as it appears is the sweet chilli chicken wrap....not as sweet as it looks slight spice hit hidden there .

Positive experience: Friendly staff and a neat little centre. Definitely would like to see it expand as I don't believe it is big enough for the large community it is in.

Fantastic experience: Full sports facility with large swimming pool, basketball courts, and a 24-hour gym. Gym is well maintained, clean and with heaps of machines and free weights Friendly staff on hand to run through and design work out routines.

Fantastic experience: I give this place a 5 star rating. My daughter started her swim lessons and her swim teachers so far have been so skilled and she is so happy about swimming now. I would personally thank swim teacher Pedram who has a high level of patience and he has helped my daughter go to the next level by giving feedback on areas of improvement at the end of each lesson.

Fantastic experience: Happy customer service greetings. Lots of friendly lifesavers. Sometimes a long wait for just a swim at service desk in peak times. Water a bit cold once start but once lapping I don't worry about it. Showers grout a bit old I don't think they can be cleaned anymore maybe a renovation needed in the highly used showers.

Fantastic experience: I have started my swimming lessons( adults) couple of months ago to improve my breathing & stroke techniques. Instructors were Maddy & Nathan have unique skills and own styles of training which immensely supported my requirement. Nice place to take swimming lessons

Negative experience: No PT trainers available after 5 pm and dodgy customer info

Negative experience: Worst experience encountered. Was asked by a white lady when I would get out of the pool. This incident happened on Australia day and I registered a complaint before leaving. I've spoken to several people in the counter as a follow-up and each time I hear that some will get in touch with me either by mail or phone. It's been two months and I'm still waiting for a reply. It looks like the management is least bothered about the bad experience the patrons encounter especially when racism is involved.

Negative experience: Rude customer service and if you want your kids to learn swim go and find something else otherwise you stuck their for years and you kids learn nothing

Positive experience: Good facility and staff are friendly however it would be great if they had a better system to manage when staff are late to opening up at 5:30am. Waking up early and travelling all the way here for 5:30am and find the gym not open is extremely infuriating. This has happen twice in my time coming to this leisure centre and I can only imagine how many times it’s happened to regulars who are here everyday. Both times I have waited at least 45 minutes to an hour in hopes that someone will come, allowing for human error in running late but still no one showed up. Getting a workout in before work is part of a lot of peoples mental health care process so I hope in the future they will make changes. This is extremely unprofessional and I hope the management team will make a change and make sure this doesn’t happen again.

Positive experience: This is just an ok place , great for basketball / netball etc but the swimming pool is freezing and the other pool that is heated is small and used for swimming lessons You would think in a growing town like pakenham they would put in a huge indoor heated pool Like in Cranbourne With slides etc

Positive experience: Quiet for school holidays. Friendly and helpful staff.

Negative experience: Very bad refund policy. Realizing that I am on suspension for 3 months now they still charge without any notification. They ripped off $70 without my consent. Last two time they send me the reminder notification about my suspension however this time they just silently sweep the account. They should understand with COVID lockdown in place now and then, Its very hard for some one on suspension to check when they are open or not. They should work on improving their processes for people who are not regular. Highly disappointed
