Negative experience: Air conditioner

Negative experience: No AC. Never turned while visiting several times

Positive experience: Great place to train, I hope to meet friends so I can train together. I'm sorry, but I don't have pictures of myself training but a representation of how I feel when I can't go to the gym.

Positive experience: Not too packed even during peak hours unlike other branches. Vibe is good. Machines mostly work and enough parking. Dumbells are in poor condition with the rubber coating breaking apart. Certain weight increments seem to be lacking a full pair e.g. 32.5kgs. Would be great if new replacements are incoming. Machines are mostly operational with few out of order.

Negative experience: I been using this gym from the day one they replaced the YMCA most the team members are friendly and good customer service but unfortunately today I been disappointed with Brooke customer service I don’t know how she with zero customer service and rude behavior and disrespectful attitude can work in the reception area, that’s the place you representative Derrimut gym history, because you are first person facing people when they coming to know the gym and the organization to be a member for it but sadly for the Derrimut gym first and the person who is coming to be a member have to face some one like Brook who has no idea how to be a good customer service, lucky me who I been ages there and know most of the team members are respectful and friendly and I just have to ignore her to don’t destroy my gym day with her disrespectful attitude.

Positive experience: Cool

Positive experience: Quality mint, people packed, session good

Negative experience: Idk why you bother having 24/7 staff, no one is holding members accountable to put their weights back, pins in machines are missing, D-loop hands are hard to find or just don't exist, people aren't looking after machines, so you can't pin the 2.5kgs of your stack. Cardio equipment, out of order, what are you playing your staff for? All's I've seen them do is sit on the front desk, say hi, bye, and talk to whoever wants to chat. Why not get them to stop people from stealing, and breaking stuff, so everyone can use the stuff?

Negative experience: The ladies manger unprofessional bullying the customer just because of her mood one day smile the next day kick the people’s out the gym and the owner his followers not a leader I wish everyone started looking someone else in other suburbs for gym enjoyment we pay money to use their equipment with out the customer they will be no business opening on top of that the manager who running the gym she thinks herself professional but she’s not

Negative experience: The staff are usually very friendly and nice. I usually go late as I am very shy and I really appreciate the team’s friendliness. However there is one particular staff who was very rude. I made an error of not putting an equipment away and her method of asking was very confrontational and demeaning. I went back to correct it and I even set it up ready for the next person as a peace offering. However it seems that not what she wanted and rather using any communication skills to convey it, she resorted to name calling. I do hope this is just a once off but the experience was very uncomfortable.

Negative experience: worst gym to possibly exist, staff members are friendly but the manager is extremely rude and disrespectful, how can a manager have such bad customer service? Please do find another gym that will make you feel included and comfortable, seeing the manager everyday made me super uncomfortable because of how rude and disrespectful he is. He abuses his power too much, and the bathrooms are extremely disgusting and never clean, even the equipments, I barely see any janitors around and some of the equipments even have growing mold!! Absolutely disgusting.

Negative experience: this is the worst gym ever to exist. the manager was beyond rude and the toilets are so disgusting. please find a better and antoher gym

Fantastic experience: Friendly staff, met a worker named James. Really nice bloke. Showed me around and assisted me with my membership purchase. Would recommend !

Fantastic experience: The lad at the front, James, was very welcoming and insightful showing me around the gym and as for the whole atmosphere in the gym itself, was immaculate, up to date equipment, friendly staff especially James. My go to gym :)

Positive experience: Some machines are broken and the elevator is broken, and the toilets are gross. But for the low price I can't complain too much. People seem friendly too

Negative experience: Garbage selection in music, plus it's so loud that it overpowers my noise cancelling headphones. They claim they can't turn it down. Haven't they seen a volume knob before? I've cancelled my membership. Hopefully I can actually find a gym with no loud music.

Positive experience: Great gym, sauna is actually decently hot.

Positive experience: Very large gym, lots of equipment. However it is very busy and in disarray more often than not.

Positive experience: I’d like to see the equipment in the right place. Great gym, and staff, but having to search for equipment (usually dumbbells), is a bit annoying.

Negative experience: Good equipment and decent enough front staff. That’s where the positives end. The gym is ridiculously hot. To the point where on a 30 degree day it is cooler outside than inside. It’s likely a health hazard. After every work out you are drenched in sweat like you’ve been in a sauna. I am not exaggerating read the other reviews. Nobody uses a towel and nobody puts their weights away. There is 0 gym etiquette. The free weights section is a free for all with 1kg db with the 60kg. If you’re use to franchises with actual rules and basic cooling than please look elsewhere. The men’s toilets are disgusting and tiny with mould everywhere.

Positive experience: Excelente gym, solo los vestuarios que siempre están sucios

Negative experience: Worst derrimuts I’ve been to. Half the weights are missing, lockers don’t lock, some are absolutely appalling. Toilet seats are all loose in women’s toilets. Fans are absolutely trash. Hygienic wipes are all empty. There is a lot I could comment on, I’ll just gladly never come back to this gym :)

Positive experience: Convenient gym but air con doesn't work. Always 5 degrees hotter in the gym than outside during summer.

Negative experience: I have been coming to the gym for a year , definitly lots of equipments available.. But recently i have seen.. A lot of dumbells are just missing , Air cons are not working at all, No paper towels anywhere in the gym .. even a normal day its so hot in here you cant work out properly. And do you expect me to clean equipment by my towel ... washrooms hand dryer stinks can see its not been cleaned in a while. water fountain handle is broken. Shouldn't cost much to put basic necessaities back in place

Fantastic experience: Jayden was a great help with my membership. Very bright and proffesional. Really seems to care about the gym and its members.

Positive experience: Very friendly staff who were welcoming as it was my first time at this Derrimut gym location. Decent bathrooms as well as a good number of machines for the size of the gym. I will always go to CS Derrimut since that’s my gym, but for convenience I would happily go back to the original Derrimut.

Positive experience: Derrimut Gym 24/7 is a large and affordable gym with a wide range of equipment and facilities. The spaciousness of the gym is a plus, but due to its affordable membership, it can get quite crowded during peak hours, making it challenging to have a proper training session. However, this seems to be a trade-off for the attractive price point.

Fantastic experience: Great gym, plenty of equipment, friendly staff and the ppl who attend are always so nice and helpful. Great pricing also :) , 100% recommend.

Negative experience: It's a big gym as all Derrimut gyms are. But the change rooms are poor. The change room benches are too small for the size of the gym. The showers at times only have cold water. Issues with changes rooms, when they arise, take too long to fix. Classes like other Derrimut gyms are average to poor.

Positive experience: Great apart from the bathrooms.

Negative experience: No aircon in 33 degree heat.

Negative experience: Possibly the worst Derrimut gym branch: * Numerous machines out of order - some just sitting there as furniture for a year+ * Aircon in the lat pull down machines area doesn’t work. Other area also can hardly feel it working - imagine training on a hot 30+ degree day. Staff is nice enough to apologise but that’s not going to help members dehydrate and faint * Urinal full of piss - been like this for a month * One of the two toilet cubicles have been out of order for two months * Disgusting mould growing around men’s toilet sink vanity * One of the tap has been out of order for 6 month+ * One of the shower cubicle has been out of order for 2 years and someone’s puke sitting there for a few days now * Lost count on number of times this places ran out of hand towels to wipe the equipment..this is supposedly the most basic but they can’t seems to get their stock levels right..okay that it happens but how far are other locations to be able to borrow as it happens….absolutely disgusting I can continue on but seems like a waste of time as no action is taken..all they care about is opening new locations while their flagship branch is in the condition it is

Negative experience: Staff are so rude. I get that gym rules are to not wear slides to the gym but to be addressed and kicked out in such a rude, disgusting manner is beyond appalling. It wouldn’t have hurt to say sorry you know..man was straight up waiting for an argument. Cancelling my membership and not coming back. Do better derrimut. Learn how to address people with manners mate.

Negative experience: Toilets, basins and showers are very dirty. This is putting Attendees at risk , It has been reported multiple times to reception and feels as though they can’t do anything.

Fantastic experience: Very clean, great environment, cant fault it! Good music choice. Fantastic place

Negative experience: Honestly the worst gym in summer. Aircon has been broken for years and they are incapable of fixing it. I nearly fainted because of how hot it was. So now I go to Caroline springs

Fantastic experience: Staff are friendly and helpful. Everyone in the gym keeps to themself. Good environment.

Positive experience: Overall, it's a decent gym. Staff are great and it's very tidy. Only downside I found was it's a bit small in comparison to other Derrimut gyms and seems to be lacking some equipment. I still train here whenever I'm in the area though, it does the job

Positive experience: Shower room is not clean and water temperature is very low. Can’t take a shower, It’s too cold. Just Slightly warm. Staff should check the water temperature for shower. Very annoying!

Positive experience: Staff are very friendly, membership prices are excellent value probably the cheapest you will get out of all the gyms. Particularly this location needs renovations for the disgusting men's bathroom and free weights are starting to fall apart. I don't understand how these new gyms are opening looking like a luxury hotel resort but you can't fix the existing ones.

Negative experience: The showers are very cold.

Positive experience: Pretty decent, music is a bit loud (can hear it through my own music) The cleaning staff are a nice touch though, keeps the place in good shape

Negative experience: Further to Tuncay’s review below I would like to reiterate the lack of basic sanitation and safety standards met by this gym. I’ve been at Derrimut (main) for over a year now and these photos were taken today but they were exactly the same when I first started. Only two toilet cubicles but one has been missing a seat forever and there is zero ventilation in there so when someone does a number 2 you CANNOT breathe in the washroom. Secondly there are 3 sinks but ALL of them are broken; 1 has a broken tap, 1 has no water and the 3rd is flooded. Outside of the washrooms, you’ll find loose bolts around the gym floor and free weight machines constantly shifted out of place because no one does safety checks to ensure anything is fit for use. Cable attachments, pull down bars and rope attachments are all faulty with damaged handles making them near unusable. It’s hard enough that they only have a couple of each for the whole gym. This morning I went to use the weight scale and even that isn’t working. The staff member said “yeah it’s usually out of batteries”. Derrimut gym is cheap but as they say, you get what you pay for.

Positive experience: Let's be honest it's a fantastic gym for the price that you pay however a lot of the stuff is unkept the men's toilets are a disgrace. (Sorry management it's gotta be said.Broken, no toilet seats. And some gym equipment not repaired for weeks. Will continue to be a member I rate it 7/10. Men's change rooms 2/10

Negative experience: Too many people in the gym, equipment is always taken, stolen or broken. I feel like the sales , for memberships should end. I would rather pay a higher price if it means I don't have the following.

Negative experience: please Fix men’s toilet Seats they are always broken and for months no repair so Unhygienic…

Positive experience: The women's gym in this Derrimut location is all old. Most are missing instructions, the weight adjustment on the machines are broken, and weight machines don't have measurements on the options. These should be improved as it's clear nothing has been updated in a while

Negative experience: I visited this gym, and while they had a good variety of equipment, I was disappointed with the cleanliness and the lack of weight reracking. The gym could definitely use some improvement in maintaining cleanliness, and it would be great if the staff could encourage members to rerack the weights after use.

Fantastic experience: Best gym around. There can be a wait for equipment if you go busy periods, otherwise it's great.

Negative experience: The male toilets are outdated black mould where the hand basement is. Handdryer stinks, broken toliet with out a seat.

Negative experience: Hi i am giving 1 star because i cannot give any more lower rating i am happy to give them negative rating. So what happened i was using stairs next to treadmill and my 1 AirPod(which i just bought in the same week) fell down unluckily and goes straight into machine. I had chat with Jayden( manager) he said it is not your lucky day today and thats all. Without helping me in this situation staff said they not going to do anything at all. Jayden said wait till the machine broke down then we will call our mechanic to fix may be we will find it later. It can be really expensive thing that could have fall in machine but due to poor service and management i lost my AirPod. After sending them emails I didn’t get any response. So be careful if you lost something you will never ever going to get it back again.

Positive experience: Enjoy my time at the gym, great atmosphere and enough machines to do what I want.

Negative experience: It is too hot in the ladies' room gym in the summer. I can't handle it for more than 10 minutes in there; it's that bad! Also, there are not enough weight machines in the ladies' room. Please fix the air conditioner and the fan; nothing is working in there. After a year, I came back, and it has become worse. The gym is super hot, like a sauna. Buy a new, big fan and change the air conditioner. No one is happy there; everyone is sweating and smelly. You need to get new equipment in the ladies' room; it's too old, and there are not as many machines as in the other gyms. I am disappointed!

Negative experience: Worst gym environment, restrooms are always dirty and smell really really bad. Always packed so just a waste of time and money. The only good thing about the gym is that its huge and cheap.

Fantastic experience: This gym is fantastic. Plenty of machines and is huge compared to other gyms. Casual pricing a little expensive though but I guess that's the price you pay to maintain the place.

Negative experience: I have emailed them countless times to remove my membership during lockdown. No response. When I called - horrible customer service and really long wait times. No compensation either.

Fantastic experience: There is every machine you need. Roomy and has uplifting music for when one is training. Clean bathrooms and safety comes first.

Negative experience: My biggest problem is toilets Only two toilets for mens It is never enough when you have a gym that can be occupied by 50-100 men Add to that they are most of the time unclean .. especially peak times when you need it the most Zoom in to see it properly And when I ask the stuff if they can open the disable toilets because it is unclean in mens toilets He says I have to wipe it

Fantastic experience: David from the front was very welcoming, friendly and also giving equal attention and care to each customer greeting them both when coming in and out of gym! Gym has everything you need, might have to wait here and there but gotta compromise at times

Fantastic experience: This gym has changed a lot in the last couple years. Heaps of equipment, great music (although it is a little bit loud if you're equipment near the speakers). Membership is totally worth it, I felt like I've gained back my old body since rejoining. So grateful I did :)

Positive experience: 5 star gym from morning until 5pm. After 5pm until 9pm it's a 1 star gym.

Negative experience: My car keys were stolen in the locker, they won't let me watch CCTV, They don't do anyting for it ,They just don't care

Negative experience: This gym is spacious and have equiqpments .But staff is rude careless arrogant some of them are racist dont care for customers at all . would Not have Air con working on hot days . Will c make you pay more Then what it should be . Heaps of gyms in victoria Go somewhere they treat customers wel. Absolute trash here

Fantastic experience: Stunning gym Just wish they would have more 15kg plates and 10 kg takes you so long to find , where it’s flooded with 20 kg Other then that the gym is amazing

Negative experience: We tried to buy a bottle of water and they accidentally charged us double. Tried to get a refund but they don't offer refunds and forced us to grab something off the shelf instead. Pretty disappointed and no offer to amend the situation.
