Fantastic experience: New gym looks amazing, loads of new equipment with enough to train any muscle group. Lady named Hannah was very hospitable and made the sign up experience even more enjoyable. Can’t wait to train here for a long time, very excited!

Negative experience: All members know this has been a problem for awhile now and they still haven't bothered to fix it. It's getting ridiculous now and it makes no sense for all of us to pay membership fees if things like this don't get fixed around the gym.

Negative experience: I came to trial this gym with my hubby as it is our local gym so I thought it was a great opportunity for me to start my long term fitness journey. Unfortunately I was met with a crowd of people grouping up, young, here to hang out. For a woman, I was intimidated and uncomfortable. Even while so none were in gym gear there to hang out and taking up equipment. There are staff also sitting in the office doing nothing even while much chatting away. Half the machines were not working like the row pullmachine. It felt like they didn’t want new customers and only relied on their name for people to be attracted to this gym. I have a group of friends and family, whenever I mention anytime fitness moorebank they just squint and say ew. So unfair for those who want to actually join and use a great new facility. I would make a suggestion but I understand this is a large corporation and probably a (south western thing) but surely there should be some gym rules/standard etiquette that is enforced. Otherwise your staff have nothing else to do because they are on their phones 99% of the time from what I saw other than that taking out the bins. No need to reach out this for other potential visitors to see.

Management always greats me with a smile and checks to see how I am and I am truly grateful for that, especially Barbara the club manager, she’s amazing. Negative experience: I signed up eager to train and in my cooling off period decided that this gym was not for me due to the bad culture that obviously stems from your management. Upon cancelling with your Gym Manager (at least that's what I was told, they were out of uniform in a blue singlet) who kept interrupting the worker I was trying to cancel with, and would not give me her name as she spoke and argued so rudely to me, I would never even consider joining your gym or franchises again. As someone who has trained at Fitness First, Crunch and many other gyms (who all have lockers by the way) they honestly have way better value and atmosphere. For a premium gym, you have old machines (leg extension), not enough mats, and NO LOCKERS even though you demand a non-refundable $100 payment for an access key to enter the gym, which then in turn has no access to any security for belongings, and no, cameras are not enough, if something is stolen, it is gone, that is it. This manager told me I should leave my wallet in the car, and after I said that I didn't want to, I was told that "well that's your problem". Yes, that is why I am cancelling? What a way with words, I'm sure she treats her workers terribly if she treats the customers this way. The Manager kept interjecting when I would talk and even after I had told her that my problem is not with you, it's that I do not want to train here, she still kept going and could not handle the feedback. The gym culture is 100% bro-y. After saying that I was not interested in this as a woman, she said that there was nothing wrong with having other patrons yell abruptly during my training. I asked if she was listening to the whole conversation I was having with her worker and she said "no" so I asked her to stop interrupting. Your culture is something that needs to be addressed and it is a poison, and I am happy to take a call from someone higher up to explain the terrible situation upon cancelling. I understand you have your sales quotas to make, but treating people horribly is not the way to go about it. I have never been spoken to so rudely and abruptly from someone, hence this one-star review. All the best, would not recommend ANYONE to try this gym out. These types of gyms are the reason why people hate training in commercial spaces. Edit: what a terrible, passive-aggressive, reply you gave. The questions you asked me were super rude, and your advice was terrible. You should be ashamed! And you’re still not putting your name to your behaviour, even with the other reviews about how you treat people. When will Anytime Fitness address your abhorrent actions? It’s obvious I’m not the first person to be treated this way by you.

Fantastic experience: This is our 3rd year now being a member at Anytime Fitness Moorebank and the one gym that we have stuck to and kept up our membership. My husband and I find that the convenience of being able to go to the gym at anytime, as opposed to other gyms that have restricted hours and days keeps us so much more motivated. The staff are always friendly, approachable and go above and beyond to help with any concerns or questions that you may have. I would highly recommend it to any of my friends or family wanting to join a gym. We will definitely be signing again for another year once our membership expires. Great atmosphere, great staff and incredible convenient.

Fantastic experience: Anytime Moorebank is great club to train at with an awesome view of Brighton Lakes Golf course. I’ve trained for many years at multiple clubs for fitness, muscle gain and rehab. By far this is the most convenient club and has a great atmosphere. Bring a friend for free Thursdays is a great additional bonus. Daniel F

Negative experience: I've been at Brighton lakes before but for the food and social aspects and was very glad to see that there was a anytime fitness that was being opened here. The gym looked amazingly spacious and had a great view of the course and the lake so I was quite keen in joining, but that's were the good stopped. The staff didn't seem in the least bit interested in helping with my queries and almost seemed I was doing them a favor by attempting to join. I was shunned and actually quite shocked by their lack of care. I decided to speak to a friend who was a member who told me not to join and that he would be cancelling his membership shortly as he told me of an instant a couple of weeks ago where most of the treadmills weren't functioning over the weekend and there were a lot of unhappy patrons. Decided to give this place a pass , which is a shame as it looked amazing

Negative experience: The gym is amazing and very spacious. Looks great after the renovation. However, one bad thing that I would like to say is that the management could be heaps better. Not sure how a gym is running with such an awful manager with poor customer service. If you can’t communicate effectively to members you should work there. Period.

Fantastic experience: Brand new gym, the biggest Anytime Fitness I've been to so far and at the best location. The view that you get on the treadmill, over the golf course at Brighton Lakes Country Club is spectacular. The staff was very welcoming and showed me around on my first time here.

Fantastic experience: This is a brand new fitness facility located underneath the restaurant and has a great range of equipment that would cover the exercising goals of most users. Finding the facility might be confusing on your first visit, as upon parking in front of the club, there are no obvious signs for the gym. You need to walk around to the right around the back and then you will find the place. If in doubt, follow the steady stream of people in activewear! The place can get busy during weekdays after work, however, you shouldn't get caught waiting for more than several minutes for someone to complete a set. So far, all personal interactions have been respectful and the atmosphere is positive, through a combination of energetic background music, clean facilities and spaciousness allowing for easy mobility through the facility.

Negative experience: Absolutely shocking customer service. We walked in to sign in. Stood outside the office and the girls in the office kept yarning. They didn’t acknowledge us at all. It’s not that they didn’t see us waiting outside the office and obviously they don’t need more business and us being there was causing them inconvenience. It’s fascinating to me that we walk in to give them business and they can’t be bothered. Amazing business strategy.
