Fantastic experience: During our holiday at Rainbow Beach, we visited the Rainbow Beach Sports Club for dinner not once, but five times and every single meal was absolutely incredible! The highlight for me was their rib fillet and lobster, which was nothing short of perfection. The rib fillet was one of the best steaks I’ve ever had—cooked exactly as ordered, tender, and packed with flavor. As were the Eye Fillet, Sirloin and Rump. The lobster was fresh and melt in your mouth delicious. The Prawn and Scallop pizza, Lamb Rump and Prosciutto Chicken Royal were absolutely delicious too! If you’re in Rainbow Beach, this place is a must-visit. Whether you’re a steak lover or just someone who appreciates great food, you won’t be disappointed. We’ll definitely be back on our next trip!

Fantastic experience: Dolphin Ferry Cruises have had the pleasure of bringing guests to Rainbow Beach Sports Club for lunch on many occasions and the response is always unanimous - everyone has a wonderful time. Louise and the crew deserve full praise for the service they provide and the food is delicious!

Fantastic experience: Had a fantastic experience for lunch and dinner. The venue manager Scott was excellent. Customer service is the only thing that sets business apart these days, and most fail. Scott restored my faith that excellent customer service still exists. Thank you. Also they had new carpet throughout the week we were there it looks fantastic.

Negative experience: Got harassed by the manager for my girlfriend being 18 and me being 17 cause she ordered 1 drink at the legal age, she than told us to finish our meals and which we agreed too, she came back 5 minutes later telling us to leave for no absolute appropriate reason, as we were leaving she was physically pushing me as I was walking and blowing kisses at me which made me very uncomfortable. The worst part was she brang up how “terrible” my girlfriend’s father was so guessing she doesn’t have a good relationship with the father as why she was very rude towards my girlfriend. NEVER AGAIN, DO NOT GO HERE, the pub or venue near the beach is the way to go, better service than here

Fantastic experience: Fantastic food & service , drinks were great till the last one , I have never had a more sour/ bitter drink , my drink being vodka lemon lime & bitters but it was so sour , couldn't taste vodka & was undrinkable , apart from that everthing was perfect & Fantastic service from the very friendly Rebekka , thankyou to her .

She was that amazing I even shared my chocy machine winnings with her (she stole my only twirl aka my fav chocolate but that’s okay because her smile made my day) ;)

Fantastic experience: Beautiful dinner for both my partner and myself. My partner’s steak and half lobster with veggies looked great and he said it was delicious. My fish of the day with stuffed zucchini, baba ganoush and spicy tomato relish was a perfect combo. Great friendly and quick service. Would definitely go again.

Fantastic experience: My husband & I both ordered the Steak & Lobster special of the week. The serving size is very generous. I had the vegetables with delicious red wine jus and hubby had salad & chips. While the veggies were beautifully cooked & seasoned they were just warm when they reached the table. The salad was a small bowl of greens which my hubby didn’t eat. The steak was excellent quality and expertly cooked as requested- delicious. The lobster was a real treat and very tasty, not overpowered with garlic or too much cheese. The presentation was a bit and appeared that this beautiful food was just thrown onto the plate. Overall - an outstanding improvement from our Local Club and we will continue to support you on a regular basis and recommend the Club to friends & visitors.

Fantastic experience: The sports club hosted the South Queenskand zone Outrigger canoe race awards night. About 300 paddlers ascended on the club for meals and drinks. Was a great night enjoyed by many.

Negative experience: Most of the staff were unbelievably rude! Belittling customers and just having a general attitude! We spent a lot of time and money here on the sports they offer too, so expected to be treated with a bit more respect. Very little customer service skills between them all, one lady spilt our pizza on her shirt and seemed to find that funny? On the other hand the men at the pool were legends and the facilities they had were good (pool and tennis courts)

Negative experience: Cheap beer was the only positive. Bang average food. Worse staff, so moody and had attitudes. Especially the tall blonde lad with glasses and the woman with frizzy curly hair.

Negative experience: Just being honest the parmi was hard and was tuff.

Fantastic experience: Visited on Sat night for a mates 50th. Great atmosphere, great pizzas and fantastic staff. The security guard organised the live musician for a good old school happy bday to you, Michelle with the curly hair was fantastic at the bar under busy conditions and every staff member looked happy to be there. Young crew were havn a great time playing pool while the oldies tore up the dancefloor. Great night definitely recommending dinner and drinks here. Definitely worth a good tip. Cheers for having us.

Michelle a staff member and much more .went out of her way to be accomodating with everything we could ask for , made our experience at the the club enjoyable , was looking to buy a place up here and could see myself feeling very comfortable being a local near this area , thanks again rainbow beach sports club happy customer .

Positive experience: We had spaghetti and pizza $42. The food was really good, the staff lovely and the premises clean. Enjoyed our visit.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant views,and a great venue best place for a drink in town

Negative experience: Very disappointing. The lighting was too harsh, no toilet paper, the crowd are all over 65, they only get one star because they they DO have alcohol, but they refuse to serve it to you if you, a) drink too quickly, b) want to buy a drink for your friend, c) would like to drink on the dance floor, d) would like to have fun, e) would like a double.

Fantastic experience: Wasn't our original choice for dinner & drinks last Sat eve, but delighted we wound up here: very friendly staff across the board, decent food, well-priced drinks, nice range of available seating locations. Membership ($15) more than many clubs, but we'll make it up in food& drink discounts on our next visit in March, when this will be our 1st choice for a meal in Rainbow Beach .

Fantastic experience: Went there for lunch good food and atmosphere would recommend

Positive experience: Food is good, not great. Service was prompt, but the main waiter has a serious attitude problem. Myself and the rest of the people I was with were asked for ID multiple times, even though we weren’t drinking. He seemed pissed off a big group was coming in so he couldn’t have a relaxed night in his massive empty restaurant.

Negative experience: It was nearly 40 degrees and they have all the doors and windows open and the a/c on it was so hot had to leave and cancel the reservation simply not good enough

Negative experience: If you look handsome, and are under the age of 25, prepare to bring your identification. Not just one, but two forms of ID. You will be checked several times for proof of age between walking to the bar and ordering your drink to sitting down and trying to enjoy your chilled beverage in this hot Qld environment. Any further betting or similar activities, requiring you to be of responsible age will have you chased up for more proof. Food is good, delivered in exceptional time with great quality. Wide variety of modern drinks on tap suited from the young to old patrons. All in all, great venue and atmosphere but no one wants to be stopped multiple times for an ID check, making it feel like the customer is in the wrong place, to be then question about the validity of presented documents, by the same staff member at one point might I add. Won’t rush back, Cheers, Not overly concerned citizen

Fantastic experience: Came in around 2.30pm and stayed for dinner didn't leave until raffles were finished around 7.30pm. Friendly and inviting place to relax have a drink and some food.

Positive experience: Have been here 3 times this week already and the food has been great each time. I’ve had the battered Barra which was cooked perfectly and a rump steak, which was quite thick but cooked well. We went for lunch yesterday and got 3 pizzas and garlic bread which was an amazing deal for all under $45, they were cooked EXACTLY how they should be. Generous topping, perfect crust and the mozzarella cheese pull was on point. Now the only thing stopping me giving this place 5 stars is some of the staff. Half are amazing the other half a just grumpy and look like they don’t want to be there. Special mention to Hanna, she’s a legend and a total asset.

Negative experience: Booked a table for seven people on Xmas Eve by the way it wasn’t very busy either. My roast of the day came out first with Luke warm undercooked veggies . The next six meals came out forty minutes later . We should have all been eating within minutes of each other We will not be returning very disappointed customers

Negative experience: Absolutely horrendous service. I had a table of 9. And out of those 9 meals ordered, FOUR were incorrect. 1- asked for chips. got mashed potato. 2- asked for a chicken parmy that has ham included.. no ham. 3- asked for chicken parmy.. got absolutely no toppings at all. 4- all 8 orders had arrived beside 1 that then the last meal arrived 15 minutes after every other meal. During all of this, the staff tried to correct us in a smartalik manner, gave a bad impression as soon as we walked in the door.

Negative experience: Me and 8 other people decided to go here for dinner before our camping trip and let me tell u… the food was all wrong individually with missing items and wrong items. The staff would talk back to us and were very rude. The staff also refused to fix the items saying “the order is correct” yeah like “the customer is always right” right? Bullsh*t

Negative experience: Party of 12 Christmas Eve Dining, Meals were absolutely atrocious, Chicken Dishes were over cooked, bordering on Burnt. Salad items were Burnt (Corn). Would not recommend, go elsewhere.

Negative experience: Sexist and outdated dress code. Men can't wear singlets and forced to purchase a fishing shirt if they wish to stay. yet women can wear singlets and crop tops, where's the equality?

Negative experience: Went for dinner on 25.11.23 I ordered the sirloin steak and my husband ordered the ribeye absolutely awful!! neither steak had been cooked on a grill mine was full of fat + gristle all I could taste was oil not charcoal my husband’s steak was tasteless very disappointing and not cheap, I must say the staff were lovely super friendly + helpful certainly won’t eat there again you must do better!!..

Fantastic experience: The Wife and I spent the weekend in Rainbow Beach for the 2023 "This is Livin'" music festival. The friendly staff and fantastic food along with some of Australia's most talented musicians made for a weekend to remember !! Can't wait to go back in 2024

Positive experience: A sports bar located in rainbow beach. If you are looking for a place to drink till late night this will be the place that you are looking for. There was live music when I went, the music was good. The vibes are great, pool table in the bar, that you can play pool while drinking there. The staff are friendly. Overall it's a good place to spend the night

Positive experience: Unfortunately we weren’t impressed at all. We had a main size karaage chicken, main size wings, barramundi and the 400g rump. 3/4 of us left still hungry, only the steak was decent and it’d want to be for $38. The other portion sizes were tiny. $28 for 2 pieces of karaage chicken is outrageous. $110 spent on food that was very, very average. Cheap bowls club seniors style meals at restaurant prices.

Fantastic experience: Lots of open space with plenty of places to sit & dine. Beautiful verandah to watch the bowls. Staff are super friendly. Meals are good, prices a little expensive, but BIG negative was the added charge of $5.50 for a gluten free pizza base. Pizza was $27.90 so that's $33.40 a very expensive pizza. Surf Club is $2.50 which is reasonable. Not very fair on Coeliacs.

Fantastic experience: 9 of us walked up here Saturday afternoon after spending a bit of time in another "less than salubrious" joint in town, had a few beers on the deck watching the huge teams of bowlers having so much fun, then dined. The food was EXCELLENT, reasonably priced, served very promptly, and it was just a delight. What a beautiful club - done up magnificently since I was last there years ago. What an asset to Rainbow Beach.

Fantastic experience: Spent saturday night at the club on our annual girls weekend playing Drag queen bingo - WHAT A HOOT!! We had an amzing time the the curtosy bus driver - they where a god damn legend!! What are great crew at the sports club! Thanks Guys. Only thing complaint was more pumpkin in the pumkin salad

Fantastic experience: Had a spontaneous trip to Rainbow Beach and stopped in for lunch. We had the lunch specials and it was the most amazing Asian meal we have ever had! Very satisfied and very delicious.

Negative experience: Apparently, making a booking means nothing here, booked for a table of 8 plus courtesy bus. Bus was great and on time, arrived at the restaurant and no table reserved.

Negative experience: Booked for a table of 11 a couple of days before. Arrived for booking to find our group booking separated with 2 tables. Asked staff if we could move tables together and was told a firm NO from management. So we rang the Rainbow Beach Surf Club there and then and they said yes come straight over. Walked in to RBSC and there’s our table for 11 on the Deck and the food and night were perfect. Your loss Rainbow Sports and Rec Club cannot understand why you would do that when people make bookings for dinner they want to share the meal together, if you can’t accommodate those numbers at 1 table you should advise that at the time of the booking. You had a table of 18 on the patio so clearly you can accommodate large groups. Very Disappointed.

Fantastic experience: Everyone has a smile on their face, very friendly. They are very polite even when it is busy. I 100% recommend coming here for lunch or dinner, or even just a couple of drinks.

Positive experience: We ducked into Fusion and I noticed I can’t review them on their own. I had the lunch special of szechuan chicken and fried rice, partner had garlic chicken and rice, both meals were around $14 each and were actually very good, it’s been a while since having good Chinese and I would definitely return here for their food.

Negative experience: literally the only two people in the main bar, other than the bar staff that can hear the crowd DJ music playing.... any song added, gets deleted by the over zealous millenial bar maid..... honestly, no one wants to listen to justin bieber or simply red..... If you dont want patrons choosing music, dont have crowd DJ...

Chinese food was beautiful (bit pricier than what we’re used to but good serving size and so flavoursome.) Didn’t like that there was no table service! Would have been nice to have some music playing whilst eating.

Negative experience: Poor management. We booked a table for 11 people and they put us on two different tables instead of one big one. The food was very ordinary. I think, even though they have a lot of spaces to accommodate people for dining but they’re not organized and there was a long queue to order the food because people didn’t have a chance to sit at their table and read the menu before ordering.

Positive experience: Great venue, friendly staff and patrons, however meal ordering arrangements are just abysmal. Queuing for over half an hour to place an order is just ridiculous, however the food is quite good once served.

Negative experience: A slightly odd welcome, having made a booking of 20 people for our ultimate travel tour. Despite our regular custom we booked in advance but where informed that we had to sit at separate tables because ‘it is to difficult for the staff to manage a big table.’ The chaos then continued when we came to order and we were rudely greeted by an off duty manager because we were not lining up in the correct place. A friendly “could you queue over here please” would’ve sufficed. The food itself was adequately tasty but, make sure you’re hungry because these portions could serve a small country. At least they had some take away boxes for my lunch tomorrow tho!!!! Also please ensure that you communicate your allergies efficiently as apparently carrot on squid is a common thing in Australia. As one of our party received their squid and noticed the carrot garnish she politely requested it to be remade without the carrots to which the waitresses immediate response was ‘did you tell them when your ordered.’ I recon that made her feel so valued as a customer. After she agreed to ask the chef the next dish came back with shocker, more carrots!!! Now I’m not sure about the allergen training of the staff here but I’m not sure telling a customer “we cook a lot of veg here” and “maybe you could just pick out the carrots” would be considered best practice, especially when the menu doesn’t actually advise of any allergies. I’m just glad she that they are keeping the people of rainbow healthy with all their vegetables. As the night drew to a close our group decided we would pay a visit to the lovely bottle shop, which again our tour group provides regular custom for. We were approached by one of the members of staff who made it clear that he did not desire our custom. Feeling pressured to evacuate the premises we grabbed our drinks and went to pay. Unfortunately the payment declined, to which the staff member cried out in absolute disgust. We proceeded to pay with another card, shortly after which this man decided he could no longer stand our company and swiftly ran off to the bar with a grand total of no customers. Personally I feel attacked and ashamed but not surprised at the lack of customer service skills . Despite our trial and tribulations of the night I must say our entire group were very happy with one waitress in particular by the name of Alex. She was polite and friendly and even encouraged us to attend an event the next evening. She is the reason that one star has been awarded by this ultimate travel group. We would love to hear from the management in response you our comments.

Fantastic experience: Great spot with good amenities and the fusion bistro served tasty Aussie basics like Chicken Parmigiana and burgers, as well as Asian dishes like Sweet & Sour Pork.

Negative experience: Completely horrible. The spring rolls was uncooked. The Dim sims was terrible and the chips was like rubber and was cold as all hell. The gravy had to be bought and did not come with the meal where ut should. The service was bad and there's way more that I will not say. And not the best prices
