Bodyfit Blacktown

Negative experience: I had an absolutely terrible experience with Body Fit Gym and would strongly advise others not to join. I signed up as part of their “First Month Free” Christmas deal, where I was explicitly told by a staff member that I wouldn’t have to pay anything if I cancelled within the first 30 days. I asked for clarification twice and was assured, “No, you won’t have to pay.” After attending the gym only once, I decided to cancel within the 30-day period as promised. To my shock, I was hit with a $200 charge. I spoke to the same staff member, and suddenly, she completely contradicted what she told me earlier. Not only did she fail to take responsibility for her misleading statements, but the gym has also refused to resolve the issue. This is deceptive and unacceptable. It feels like the “First Month Free” deal is just a scam to take your money. I wouldn’t recommend this gym to anyone—save your time, money, and frustration and go somewhere that values honesty and good customer service.

Fantastic experience: I've been attending the group classes, and I have to say, the experience has been incredible thanks to Coach Robert! The sessions are always energetic, well-organized, and cater to all fitness levels, making everyone feel included and motivated. The variety in the workouts keeps things exciting and make me to look forward to each class.

Fantastic experience: Been with Bodyfit for a year now, and their service is just 100%. Been training with Rocky since Jan , he is the best! I just got two requests, I hope there would be a functioning ventilation(fan) at the part where we do group classes. Also, the hair dryer at the toilet does not seem to work, hope it can get fixed or replaced?

Fantastic experience: Came in after being offered a two day free pass at Blacktown by a guy named Carlos and the whole interaction was so great he asked me about my goals and made me feel good about myself everytime I come in and see him has such a great attitude and makes my time there so much better

Negative experience: Very poor services and everyone give uncomplete knowledge and when i call them and ask why is it so then they say its written in contract if everything is on contract then what is the need of human help there. And that one manager there speaks so frequently that sometimes its quiet hard.

Fantastic experience: Great facility. Really happy with the renovations and current management ensuring everything's working the way it should! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a new and welcoming gym, best one I have found in blacktown area they have every machine you will ever need and staff are more then helpful.

Fantastic experience: I just joined BodyFit and I love this gym so much! The staff are always friendly and welcoming, and answered all my questions before I signed up. The gym is clean and has a huge range of equipment for all skill levels. I’m looking forward to my first boxing and yoga class, and the sauna is a massive plus! I highly recommend BodyFit!

Fantastic experience: Taren, the new manager has created such a better and more welcoming environment in the past few months. Machines are now well maintained and her energy makes you feel motivated even on days you’re not feeling it! Glad I made the decision to rejoin Bodyfit!

Negative experience: Earlier today I come in the gym. I'm a returning member to rejoin and was planning to rejoin, I saw a tall lady with glass engaging a confrontation with a staff member, I felt bad the way she treated the staff member so i feel that if she can do that to her staff members she can definitely give the same treatment to the club members. This will create a toxic environment to both members and staff. Treat people the way you want to be treated.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been to Bodyfit gyms around NSW, Blacktown is where I’ve had the best experience. Especially because of my boy Carlos. Always motivational and bubbly! Thank you team Bodyfit for always ensuring customers have a quality experience.

Negative experience: The sauna is good others average. The worst thing about this gym is the number of TVs all showing NEWS at all times. There are dozens of TV in every possible place all showing disturbing news. If you think you can ease your mind and have a good gym session then that’s far from reality.

Negative experience: This place runs some good classes but besides that there's not much to redeem it. Always too hot (no shades over huge windows that get the afternoon sun, fans and AC not turned on), music is too loud, no-one puts their weights away. Mirrors are left cracked/broken for weeks and equipment is often malfunctioning. Staff are nowhere to be seen. Has potential but needs to be run by someone who cares.

Negative experience: I had a terrible experience at this gym. I went in just to check it out, but when I decided to think about signing up, the staff became pushy and rude. They kept pressuring me to join, even after I made it clear I wasn't interested at that moment. Their approach was unprofessional and made me feel very uncomfortable. I wouldn’t recommend this gym to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a member at this gym for over 5 years and that isn’t going to change anytime soon. Equipment is always up to standard and the Sauna is a luxury not many gyms can say they have! Recently I started the fitness classes that Bodyfit Blacktown runs and I must say the atmosphere is fantastic, everybody getting together to achieve their fitness goals is a wonderful sight to say and of course leading the way in charge of the class studios is Staff member Andi who helps push me to better myself day in and day out. She is an icon to us all and the face of bodyfit blacktown

Negative experience: One of the the bed gym and staff I ever seen. And it’s not a 24/7 gym also they have to 2 branches in Australia and if someone have to move outside of Blacktown how can you go to the gym if you have to drive 30 min also if you have any medical condition and you want to put your account on hold than gym still charge you 5$ which is totally unfair…….

Negative experience: I am a member of this gym from last 18 months and they have always been so helpful. However, in recent time they have changed too many policies and things that they have promised when I went for membership . 1, crèches hours are very limited and only three days a week, however while taking membership, the crèche was all through the week. 2, They just need an excuse to reduce their trading hours. Don’t know that on what basis they decide the hours because it seems that they only care to save money and have enough sleep hours, recently they were closed for 2 days and for the rest of the whole week the trading hours are only 10 to 5. 3, They changed the gym layout and made the environment so unpleasant that I chat with many of the gym members and all of them were not happy with new layout as most of the equipments are not facing mirrors and you can not see yourself while doing an exercise. 4, I agree with the membership policy excuse that they bring always though they never bother to explain you the policy prior to signing the membership. 5, They are confining the outdoor area day by day and provides no information on whats going on and will we get the outdoor space back or not. 6, They have more then 10 people on reception and everyone has their own knowledge of policy and in fact no one is clear on what is actually in policy Hopefully they will look into all these things and make it a better environment for everyone and avoid collapse of the lovely gym.

Fantastic experience: Great service from staff, few days ago I called in to enquire about the gym (I was hesitant cause it’s late and no one might answer my call) & lovely female staff member named Martha was very understanding, polite and even went an extra mile to ask about my gym goals and what exactly I was looking for in a gym. Sorry, to her that I took up so much of her time but I hope once I’m ready, I’ll come to meet her in person and thank her!

Fantastic experience: I was a bit sceptical about undertaking personal training at body fit Blacktown mainly because I wasn’t sure of what to expect or if it was worth the investment. However, from the initial consultation with PT Robert & every session in the past 5 months since, I have been nothing short of amazed at the progress I have seen. Not only is he very kind, but the time, effort, and dedication he puts into planning out the sessions and making me feel comfortable at every step of the process has not only made me come out of my introverted shell so to speak, but also helped me develop so much emotionally, nutritionally through his top-notch nutrition advice & physically helping me lose 12kg since starting my personal training program with him. You definitely won’t regret undertaking personal training at this gym with Robert as well as any other of the dedicated PTs at bodyfit Blacktown. They’ll make you feel supported in every aspect of your fitness journey and goals!

Positive experience: Good gym tbh. Its not always over crowded. Best place about the gym is probably the helpful staff and the amazing sauna. There's a wide variety of exercises and machines available for all levels of athletes. Tbh I'm getting ripped off here, but it's close to my house, and have been here for a few years so I cbb switching.

Fantastic experience: Bodyfit is more then just a gym, they are like a second family, classes are my favourite thing about the club, Andi keeps us all motivated, Rob makes them definitely more enjoyable. Linda and Budi are always lovely welcoming front faces of the Bodyfit Team. Sam was also amazing and is definitely missed as part of the Blacktown Team. Would highly recommend to anyone starting off for first time gym, value for money!!

She gave me a tour of the entire gym and helped me start my fitness journey. Her motivation everyday keeps me going. I definitely recommend talking to her as she is very knowledgeable!
