Negative experience: **A Decline in Standards: Riley's Gym Even Hills Under New Management** Once a well-regarded fitness center in the community, Riley’s Gym Even Hills has unfortunately become the subject of widespread frustration among its members. The gym, now under the ownership of Fadi, has seen a sharp decline in professionalism and service quality, driving many long-time members to seek fitness solutions elsewhere. One of the most glaring issues is the unfriendly and disrespectful behavior of the staff. Members have reported consistently rude treatment, with complaints being brushed off and questions or concerns being met with indifference or hostility. The welcoming environment that once defined the gym has now been replaced with an atmosphere of frustration and dissatisfaction. Adding to this is the growing problem with the gym’s equipment. Machines that break down are left untreated for months, leaving members with fewer workout options and the feeling that their membership fees are going toward anything but maintaining the gym’s basic functionality. This neglect has been a significant point of contention, as members who pay for a full range of equipment find themselves unable to complete their usual routines. Since Fadi took over, there has been a noticeable number of long-time gym members leaving. Many founding members, along with numerous others, have decided to take their business elsewhere, citing both the poor treatment from staff and the lack of attention to the gym’s infrastructure. What was once a thriving gym has now become a source of frustration for those who have remained.

The equipment is top-notch, and the overall design truly resonates with a sense of balance and strength. What also impressed me was the gym’s honesty and straightforwardness. A casual pass is $25, and there’s no free trial, but everything is transparently laid out on their website—no hidden fees, no pushy sales tactics. This level of integrity is refreshing. I’ll definitely be returning, and I highly recommend this space to anyone in the area seeking a genuine and uplifting place to train.

Positive experience: The gym offers a wide range of equipment across both levels, which I greatly appreciate. Staff are friendly. However, I have noticed significant room for improvement in terms of hygiene and maintenance. The restroom facilities are often not well-maintained, with issues like poor cleanliness and clutter. While some of this may be attributed to users not cleaning up after themselves, it still detracts from the overall experience. Parking is generally sufficient but tends to be crowded between 5-8 PM, leading to longer wait times for certain machines. During these peak hours, gym etiquette often declines, with issues such as benches being left at random cable machines, users reserving equipment with bags while using other machines simultaneously, and dumbbells and plates scattered on the floor. Over time, it seems this behavior has become accepted as normal during busy periods. Additionally, grip handles frequently go missing, which can be frustrating. I recommend adding a trap bar, a longer tricep rope extension, a double D grip bar, and a wider lat pull-down bar. It might also be beneficial to provide a storage box for attachments or install hooks on the wall to encourage a tidier environment. Please find the attached photos that illustrate some of these concerns. I believe that by addressing these issues, we can work together to create a cleaner and more comfortable gym environment for everyone.

Fantastic experience: I tried out rileys today for the first time and it definently wont be the last! I must say before I I talk about the gym, Rayyas' customer service is second to none! Seriously the most welcoming person I've met who works in a gym! She cares about the gym and all of its members and ensures your time and experience at the gym is how you would like it to be! So easy going, amazing to deal with, and clear and concise with how the gym operates! Thank you Rayya! I was abit shocked when they said they dont do free trials, but I took the plunge and went to give it a go and I now I understand why! I cant put into words the atmosphere of this gym but ill say its like the library of gyms! Everyone is disciplined and serious about their training thats for sure! So about the actual gym itself, facilities and amenities are great and the gym is well kept all the time! Members respect the gym which is awesome and hard to find in alot of gyms! Amazing gym! And I definitely will be back as I signed up today after my trial! If you are serious about your training, check it out, you regret it!

Best of all it is priced so everyone can afford to go and keep fit. They are always improving. You know this gym will be around for many many years, not like others.

Negative experience: Once an upon a time, each member brough a towel. Nowadays lately hardly anyone brings a towel or cleans up after using an equipment. Has Riley’s standard rule of cleanliness dropped ??

Negative experience: Customer service and attitude toward the members from staff is repulsive. They have no care for anything besides your money. The staff are unequipped to deal with any matter at hand and create a very poor and uncomfortable environment. What a shame the gym is operated by greed. A gym should feel like a second home, unfortunately it’s the furthest thing from it. Will be going back to anytime where there was a genuine commitment to there members that involved respect.

I raised cancellation & hault request and none of them is addressed on the basis of communication over the phone Moreover, They do not listen to concern. Unnecessarily keep on deducting money from your card .They did 4 months with me .

Negative experience: This gym is so hot! Idk what’s wrong with the ac, they are so cheap every time I ask staff to open or turn on ac/fan they say they don’t know how, it’s disgusting how hot it gets in here. Also this gym does not care for the safety of its members, there are four squat racks but only two sets of spotter arms, and since the squat racks are always busy people are forced to do their squats without spotter arms since there are not enough spotter arms for all the squat racks.

Fantastic experience: I have been training in this since I began training and have never considered moving to another facility. Staff are helpful, accommodative and very interactive with members, always facilitating their needs and preferences. The gym provides access of resources to everyone, from a range of athletes, to those just perusing leisure. Additionally, the membership cost is very affordable for the resources provided. Would definitely recommend to everyone of all walks in life.
