Negative experience: Be careful of signing a contract with Urth Fitness, should you wish to cancel your contract they will slog you with large fees, as well as their "debit fees" which are quite high in price. I would suggest looking at a gym with no cancellation fees, you will save money & any stress dealing with Urth.

Fantastic experience: Great community gym with a few tiers and price points ranging from weights only to full access and access to other centres in Charlestown and Belmont. Good amount of floor space with a decent mix of machines and free weights. Friendly and helpful staff and I like how they try to encourage teenagers into the gym with free access during school holidays.

Negative experience: CONS: The music and tv screens are super abrasive, loud and horrible, on purpose, to try to deter you from actually using the gym. There is not enough aircon or ventilation, and the staff constantly turn the fans off on everyone, even whilst they're running on treadmills in the middle of Summer. I felt really unsafe from covid in this gym due to the lack of ventilation. One of the rooms was very smelly. Equipment was sometimes broken, and would never be repaired. Most of the reviews are from people trying to win something in a promo, which is really misleading. There were lots of men which was a little intimidating at times as a woman, but none were ever inappropriate or aggressive in my experience. They also charge extra for an afterhours key and then don't refund it when you finish your contract, which is wasteful. PROS: Spray tan machine was awesome. Bathrooms were decent. Lots of equipment. Good price ($11 per wk). Overall I would not go here again due to the abrasive music and tv shows, it was just unbearable and made going to this gym a horrible experience. Even with headphones it was hard to drown out.

Negative experience: Morally wrong in every way. I got my pay one day late due to christmas and they told me i owed $34. I happily paid it and decided to cancel my subscription but then apparently i haven’t paid ? i showed the staff (who were nice about it) and emailed the receipt from paying, then 4 days later get an email saying now i owe $54?? in total $88, when i already did pay the $34, just because i missed the $12 one. Really awful values and cannot wait for my subscription to be cancelled.

Negative experience: It’s 5pm today the 11th Nov 2023 and they shut the gate of open area working out at the main time they turned off all the fan, so what does this mean? All you smell is humans sweating and others.

Fantastic experience: I have been a member here for several years and love the general atmosphere, it's not a scary intimidating gym like others I've been to! There is a variety of machines for targeted muscle development and plenty of cardio machines. The class instructors are friendly and approachable and I love doing the Les Mills programs as well as yoga programs that are available. This place suits all fitness levels. To enter after the designated staffed times you'll need to buy a key fob but the staffed times are generous and I've never needed the after hours access key. The massage chairs and beds are a great way to unwind after a good workout and they have a sauna and spray tan booth that I have yet to use. Staff are friendly and gym is clean and up to date.

Negative experience: Owner needs to learn custom service and how to talk with basic manners. I had a issue regarding direct debit which wasn't caused by them. When I went there to get to bottom of this rather than working with me he started conversation with "whatever the reason is you gotta pay up, I don't care if you have financial or family issues or whatever." The operation manager and manager knows what they are doing and they are good. Owner didn't even bother to say hi and have a chat, he acts as if just being straight rude and stiff will resolve issue. I pity you, my friend. Again staff is very helpful and knows what they are doing. Learn to communicate mate. This all for $20? Still confused mate. 2023

Fantastic experience: I love my new gym. Machines are well kept and there are plenty to go around. The facility is clean. They offer classes and if you sign up for anything but the basic plan, you receive access to massage chairs, hydromassage beds, a sauna and a spray tan. Just an overall good feel to the place.

Fantastic experience: Good amount of equipment and a great gym floor. They have added new weight machines, however some need to be replaced. It can get very busy, but deservedly so, as the gym floor is expansive with plenty of choices for bodybuilders.

Negative experience: Is this venue low on staff? I’ve been going to this gym for a while and the equipment has been great. When it comes to the staff I find there is only 1 person that seems to working. This becomes quite frustrating when I want to buy a drink at the counter or even just a question. I’m another circumstance I’ve tried calling this venue and the phone seems to ring out.
