Fantastic experience: Very helpful staff, clean facility and not too busy

Fantastic experience: Fantastic place, with swimming pool, spa, sauna, gym, Pilates and basketball. And the price is reasonable.

Positive experience: Great gym set up,it's only downfall is the late opening times on weekends, really could be alot earlier 8:45am open time

Negative experience: don't waste time to small pool and spa with no sauna

Fantastic experience: Staff at the front desk was incredibly helpful with booking my child in for swimming lessons. She was able to create an account, book me in, give me my entry tag and process payment in under 10 mins.

Negative experience: Facility's need upgrading. They NEVER have availability for anything. Probably one of the worst Requatic Centres around!! 0 stars

Negative experience: stop using the basketball courts for things other than basketball pls we can barely play anymore

Fantastic experience: Have had just a great customer service experience with the centre, they displayed such a high level of professionalism and consideration for myself. Highly recommend signing up with this centre!

Fantastic experience: Great facilities here! I do yogalates here every Tuesday night & it's a fantastic class. I highly recommend to anyone.

Negative experience: Love the facility and most of the staff are very friendly. But on the 9th of august my partner and I witnessed one of the swimming teachers on drugs walking around throwing her hands around rolling and twitching like the people you’d see on the streets and when we asked a life guard we were told she ‘regularly has to be kicked out for aggressive behaviour’ and agreed she was off her head as well as telling us you ‘get a lot of that with swimming teachers’…. But then when speaking to a manager he rudely shrugged us off and said she was just …’anxious’ absolutely disgusting that someone like that is allowed to still teach at the facility let alone continue on with her lessons with the way she acted, I mean how many warnings can you get when your in charge of kids lives ? Really sad as we love the facility but the rude manager and behaviour we saw has really put us off…. Will be taking it up with the ED Department as well but I think there needs to be a bit of change with the management as it has ruined our enjoyment there quite a lot.

Positive experience: I actually really love this place. The staff are always happy and polite. Most of them are really helpful. The facilities are a little run down and scarce in some areas, but it's also very reasonably priced.

Fantastic experience: Have just joined as a "wet area" member to prep for a knee replacement. Will be using the spa and steam room, in conjunction with the walking lane, and hydrotherapy pool, as needed. I can't fault the staff, including the lifeguards, who are always happy to help and answer questions. Will be going almost daily, so very pleased to have such a great centre available to me only three minutes from home.

Positive experience: Nice rec centre, with lovely staff at the front desk, but the umpiring on Wednesday nights is appalling and unfair

Negative experience: 16yrs and older only allowd in gym. Even with supervision by adult my 13yr old and I were asked 2leave... We were the only2 in there!

Positive experience: Very busy centre over the holidays. 2 lots of swim lessons on when we went. Floor was wet and slippery in the pool hall due to the amount of people. Hydro pool being renovated atm. The cafe has a simple menu with reasonable coffee.

Positive experience: Hydro pool is good, main pools were very busy when I went in the evening.

Fantastic experience: Started back into excerise and this has been a great gym/pool so far. Staff are always friendly and the facilities are always clean. Would love to see some more classes later in the evening and on the weekend (but definitely offers more than other rec centres I've been to).

Positive experience: It's great. Lots of classes, nice people and well priced. Only problem coffee shop is rarely open and there is no dry sauna and roof above the Spa needs a refurb.

Fantastic experience: Amazing facility, very clean and reasonably priced. We attend baby swimming lessons every week, and pay by the term. Family friendly, plenty of parking available, and great hours to choose from. Would highly recommend coming here. Offer many fitness activities to choose from, with a crèche available too.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful facilities at KRC. Always enjoy bringing my grandson down for swim time in the heated childrens pool.

Positive experience: Attending for hydrotherapy. Pool is lovely and clean and warm, and a lifeguard is always on duty. I really haven't had cause to use the rest of the facility, but the whole place is always busy. And, I am looking forward to the new cafe opening tomorrow (10/7).

Positive experience: I went recently for a gym membership trial and was pleasantly surprised by the various things this center had to offer. A large beautiful pool area that looked very clean and safe for younger kids. The creche was very well priced and had better opening times than most creches I've been to, they were open later than most in the mornings. The gym aspect of this center was a LOT smaller than many other gyms I've been to - but that's purely because it's split up into function rooms. There is the cardio room on the mid / upper level and then downstairs is the stretch / floor / mat work area and the overall weights floor. I was extremely EXTREMELY impressed with the hightech equipment that this center had to offer, it made machines like leg press and shoulder press into a game to help you keep correct pace and form (you follow a ball in along a tube on a digital screen, keep in the line - in time and you're doing the correct pace for your workout) Wheel chair accessible NOT 24 hours, which was the downside and deal breaker for me. Well priced!

Fantastic experience: Love the Kwinana Recquatic! Staff and instructors are friendly, encouraging and approachable. Heaps of dynamic fitness rooms and function spaces and well as the pools and court spaces. Body pump is my favourite class!

Fantastic experience: Our children do swimming lessons here, my partner has used the gym Wonderful place. I love the size and depth of the hydrotherapy pool, the staff are polite, gentle and very helpful. Swim teachers so far have been amazing and the equipment in the gym is new and easy to use. Over all good place for most needs.

Positive experience: Only used the pool section for my scuba course. Overall seems good. Just no option to go below 1.5m . In hindsight the pool is perfect for children, and people with injuries. Staff seem friendly and helpful.

Fantastic experience: We had our first swimming lesson here for my hesitant 4 year old. Amazing experience. It was a fun and relaxing lesson while still teaching the important skills. So grateful we have found a swim school where my kids will thrive. Thank you!

Positive experience: The staff are very friendly and helpful. The letdowns are that the Cafe is closed for 4hrs in the middle part of the day and the spa is very small and not Disability friendly, you are forced to sit on the side and swing your legs over as the height of the step is too low to safely get in

Positive experience: The Recquatic is pretty amazing. I wish they still had prepaid memberships or that you could end your membership immediately for me 4 weeks feels like a rip off but the facilities are amazing and staff are great

Negative experience: Participate in an over priced indoor football league where they can’t provide referees who know any of the rules and have no regard for player safety! But as long as you pay the money they’re happy! Avoid at all costs!

Negative experience: I know this place has been here for a few decades now. But I find it sad that they removed the original Olympic sized swimming pool and diving boards to build this tiny little ‘nerfed’ centre that caters to young children and old people instead of being a place of any real value to the youth of Kwinana. What a bummer.

Fantastic experience: Newish equipment, lively environment with friendly staff.

Negative experience: Swim School: If your child is well behaved and well adapted to class environments, then they’ll do well. If they don’t fit the high performing standard though, I’d advise you to try somewhere else. We’ve had vastly different experiences with each of our two sons and found teachers getting frustrated time and time again with our younger son even though we were enrolled in the correct level. This term has been particularly bad as his class has had four different teachers so far, with no consistency in routine or teachers knowing the students. Overall, I’m happy we’re moving as my son is feeling discouraged about swimming and we’re ready to try somewhere new.

Negative experience: Half the time your limited to play on not even a quarter of the pool its not much fun for kids 10 and over and for the price you pay we won't be going back

Negative experience: One of the swimming instructors makes you feel unwelcome, she is rude , yells at the children, makes them cry ,stares at you the whole time your there as if you shouldn't be there and its a crime to watch your grandchildren swim. Swimming instructor teaches level 1

Fantastic experience: Best gym I've been to. No judgement from anyone always feel so comfortable and the personal trainers are all lovely so kind and helpful and very understanding. Also my kids love the swim school. Creche ladies are also lovely and understand most of them are parents too.
