Positive experience: Staff are nice. However my specific needs as a taller streetlifting style athelete aren't quite met. All the pullup bars/ dip machine have me bending my legs, the range of motion on most machines also suffers. Tends to be quite busy most of the time and the affordability also has become worse.

Fantastic experience: Been here a few times. Quite happy with the facilities and equipment. Got everything I need. One of the only AFs in the area that has 15kg barbells. For a suburban gym, number of squat & deadlift platforms is genuinely impressive (I think at least 4-5, when I thought 2 was good already haha). Variety of equipment. Took me a while to adjust to finding the water fountain/bubbler/cooler. But amazing! Staff seem quite fun too

Negative experience: Went there because I was working in the area and there was no water… at noon and 25 degrees outside!!!! and not a single sign about it or other options so I ended with my hands full of soap and nobody around to help me. Terrible service.
Hi Martha, Sorry to hear this happened! Our water was turned off for 5 minutes yesterday during the morning as our builders are renovating our bathrooms. We are sorry this happened to you and to avoid this happening to other members, we have been providing access to the other bathrooms in our office building, sign-posted throughout the club. If something like this happens again, please come and speak to the staff in club and we will be more than happy to show you to the other bathrooms or ask the builders for a more accurate ETA for the water to return. Negative experience: One of most expensive weekly rates on the north shore and can’t even clean the bathrooms daily. Soap dispenser empty for 3 days in a row. Windows in front of the treadmills has had the words “clean me” written in the dust for over a month. Plenty of other options around, won’t be going back

Negative experience: I just visited the Anytime Fitness Lane Cove and I was interested in having a workout at the gym. I always had workouts at FitnessFirst but I need to leave the gym because I moved from Surry Hills to Lane Cove. Was awful to visit the gym and Mr Bruno Elices was extremely rude and ignorant when he told me to pay $230 for a join fee, I said I never needed to pay a join fee to the student plan and he replied to me “Go back the gym I was training”, in the same time I left the Anytime Fitness. It was my first and my last time in that gym, I had no idea they had rude people working there. I don't recommend the gym and it is expensive because I never needed to pay for a membership from FitnessFirst (I had a four-year membership at FitnessFirst and I recommend it for the good price and the infrastructure, sad because I do not have FF in LaneCove) - I just checked FF's $0 join fee + 6 weeks free, I guess it worth driving a few km to a good gym and staff

Negative experience: Highly recommend avoiding this gym at all costs. Staff are deceptive, especially with lock-in contracts and cancellation policies that are essentially theft. Left Australia a almost a year ago and still continue to get charged by this gym after a series of calls and emails. On top of that, the gym staff and manager fabricate stories to cover their tracks, creating a messy and confusing timeline that makes it impossible to get any clarity. They’re clearly more interested in squeezing money out of members than providing any genuine customer service. Avoid this place if you value your time and money!

Fantastic experience: Warm friendly staff in a new venue for me. First time to Lane Cove. Couldn’t find a machine and staff/manager was only too happy to help. Lots of cleaning stations with plenty of supplies. Would definitely visit again.

Negative experience: Place doesn’t even have ready to wipe disinfectant wipes like most other anytime gyms do. Very inconvenient, there is only one area that has the super old fashioned spray bottle n paper for that purpose, and the bottles are so dusty and greasy that makes you wonder if they ever clean those bottles surely not. Moreover, the place doesn’t even have rubbish bins, every time you gotta get to the toilets to throw something. Super inconvenient, not thoughtful at all. Why is it missing all those basic amenities ??? Gym equipment not fully equipped either. Lots of nice machines missing from this gym where you can find them in most other anytime gyms. Not a full size anytime! Just a really basic one. If your ok with all above issues join it!

We appreciate your feedback and will take it into consideration as we continue to improve and expand our offerings. Fantastic experience: I've been to a few anytime fitness around Australia and i have to say, lane cove has been my favorite! The gym itself has plenty of natural light, there are big windows by the treadmills and power racks - which make a difference when your there for a little bit The free weight area has plenty of place. There are multiple.powee racks ans cable.machines which is great! Specially as ive founf myself waiting for.them in most gyms! The staff are great! Andi and Bruno.make you feel very welcone from the second you walk through the door. Great gym, great people, if you're a anytime.fitness member or around lane cove it the only place you should train!

Positive experience: Good gym with convenient locations. Best to go in offpeak times to ensure you are not waiting around for equipment.

Fantastic experience: Charlotte followed up on our enquiry, was amazing in explaining & orientation!…with the current gym promotion, it will help with motivation and in the way have few months of free membership. A small change for future maybe is to eliminate the fob charges and make it digital.

Negative experience: Honestly the staff was great and i like the place, pity Rob left as he was a fantastic trainer and was happy to work to odd schedule , other trainers are pretty much below subpar and frankly act like its an inconvenience to charge a premium for a moment of time.. for someone who struggles at the gym it was important i had a good feeling.. made to feel worse to the point i am just going to pay out my membership and close it down
Fantastic experience: Been to many of the Anytime’s in Sydney when this one was closed for renovations, and this is by far the best one. Staff are friendly, place is very well designed and clean and clientele are super friendly.

Fantastic experience: I have been training at this club on and off for about 3 years. The recent refurbishment has taken it from a 3.5 at best to clear 5. Nice job
Negative experience: Would love to have enjoyed the experience that so many people have rated highly, as a casual, but got there and there’s a sign saying they’ll “be back soon” so I waited like an idiot for ages and no-one showed up…suggest you just say what time you’re going to be back in future so that people like me don’t have to stand around in the cold waiting.
Positive experience: The facility is clean and cardio machines are upgraded, plus staff are friendly. The only thing is very loud music, even with noise cancelling headphones you still can hear the music and it’s annoying, especially if you are doing morning cardio or meditation you can’t focus on what you are doing. Hopefully, this will be resolved.

Positive experience: The new gym looks nice. Dumbbell racks are a little cramped but it’s not too bad. The crazy loud drumming and fire dancers indoors created a bunch of smoke and fumes inside, so training today wasn’t overly pleasant
