Fantastic experience: I can’t recommend Anytime Fitness West Ryde enough! The facility is spotless, well-equipped, and has everything you need for a great workout. The staff is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to help, creating a welcoming atmosphere for everyone, no matter your fitness level. Dani was so lovely showing me around and getting me set up. I wouldn't recommend anywhere else in Sydney.

Positive experience: I've visited this Anytime Fitness location in West Ryde for the second time, and I’m really impressed with the facilities compared to my local gym in Melbourne. The gym is well-equipped. My only issue was the weights being left scattered around, which could be improved. Overall, it’s a solid gym and I appreciate how accessible Anytime Fitness makes working out while on the go.

Fantastic experience: Dani and Hera are very helpful, welcoming and professionals. After 2 years of being away from AF, they are surely inviting and genuine. The facilities are well thought out and accurately spacious for the gym equipments. Chill environment and must recommend to those who are looking for a home gym base for AF.

Negative experience: Pretty at a distance, but take a look at the equipment and you’ll find it’s pretty poorly maintained.

Negative experience: Super unhappy with the customer care at this gym. When I signed up I spoke to the manger about my situation and the high probability I would leave the country with no access to an anytime fitness. As my job is at sea, it has me relocating often without a fixed address. I specified this when meeting with them. Hera told me that would not be a problem. If I did not have access to any gyms they could cancel my membership. Not long after I relocated. As I was living on a small island for a while paying cash to nice homestay man, knowing I was going to move again shortly, I did not have letters routed to this area they would not let me cancel. I asked for them to freeze my account again until I was able to come up with something. They unfroze it again a few weeks later and then continued to debit me. I have been moving from country to country for the past 7 months therefore unable to provide them with an address update in which they continue to debit my account although I had not used the gym once. Super unhappy they didn’t specify I would need proof of address change when I signed up, even discussing my situation and no understanding when I consulted cancelling when I needed to. I know multiple managers of gyms so I am aware they can cancel out of discretion (particularly in understandable circumstances) unfortunately this is not one of them.

Negative experience: This gym has been going downhill for a while now, it takes ages for broken machines to get fixed or replaced and it's generally a bit messy everywhere. They've got all the necessary equipment for working out, but it's just alright overall. The bathrooms can get pretty gross too. It's gotten a bit more busier since New Years especially during peak hours, so it's a tad crowded at times. The gym parking lot is dodgy looking, go for street parking instead in the nearby area for a better time. The regular staff are very nice and welcoming, but the trainers are gone now. What happened to all the trainers? There are no trainers now, and no more classes. You're better off going to the Rhodes Anytime Fitness, it's newer and cleaner, and they've got more staff to help out.

Negative experience: Barely enough plates to go around… the deadlift floor surface is not even… why bother wasting time joining this AF?

Positive experience: Its relatively clean and has the equipment you need. They don't appear to maintain the equipment properly and communicate with members. I say this as I went to workout today and 2/3 of the bikes don't work or turn on, and 2/3 of the stair climbers have been busted for over 3 months. There is one left standing in operation.

Negative experience: Someone took my husband’s key fob by mistake while working out. They did bring it back to the office a few days later but because my husband works until 9:30pm (which is when he usually goes to the gyM) he wasn’t able to go pick it up during staffed office hours. Couldn’t go to the gym for two weeks but staff flat out refused to freeze his membership because it wasn’t his fault but not their fault either ‍♀️ yes its not the gym’s fault (other than their failure to provide proper lockers to store personal belongings) but how much would you lose by doing that 2 week freeze when the customer has already been so inconvenienced. The person also accused of someone else using the key while our key was taken Next time will pay a little more and go to Team Bros across the road. Cleaner and better service.

Fantastic experience: I've recently joined this gym after personal trauma and I can honestly say I could not have chosen a better venue to get my fitness back . Hera , John, Danni and James all have those invaluable qualities of enthusiasm , knowledge and sincererity. ( As I'm sure do other staff I'm yet to meet ) . I firmly believe that post covid there's never been a more important time to work on one's health. Both mental and physical. And Anytime Fitness has been the perfect venue to achieve that. I've never had to wait to use the vast array of equipment and the shower facilities are always serviced . Just being at this gym lifts the mood up. Thank you Anytime Fitness.

Negative experience: I’ve been coming to this gym for 3 months now by necessity and it’s by far the most poorly kept anytime fitness that I’ve utilised (out of dozens) - somehow over a three month period they’ve been unable to put soap in 2 of the 3 bathrooms, the weights are constantly in disarray, the bars are loose so that the weights spin and all around there’s a feeling of 0 care. For the love of god, just put some soap in your toilets. Is that too much to ask?

The gym is clean as usual. 3 pieces of broken equipment needs repairing and seated leg extension upper adjustment requires a string and has for some time. Not many patrons still dont have towels or wipe down equipment.

Positive experience: Decent equipment and spacious (although busy around 5-6pm. Unfortunately the staff don't care too much about cleanliness, the place is a mess, weights never reracked, bathrooms and changerooms are a mess. There's a very loud buzzing noise which hasn't been fixed.

Negative experience: Only 1 year Contracts. There are no free trials before you sign up. Also, it costs almost a hundred dollars per month for a membership. Lastly, the owner signed me up and he can’t seem to find my name on the system. I hope this wasn’t done on purpose to prevent me from breaking out of the contract

Fantastic experience: Anytime fitness west ryde is hands down the best gym in the ryde area. Not only is it the biggest but the variety of equipment is second to none and couldnt ask for more. Staff are amazing and are very supportive and always here to support your fitness goals.
