Fantastic experience: Staff are amazing and friendly! Very compassionate and non-judgmental!

Positive experience: Staff accommodating and friendly. Busy gym but big enough to accommodate all styles of training

Negative experience: Pros: is big , is 24/7 the price is reasonable, is well connected with bus stop near by and large parking space Cons: nothing ever gets fixed, one shower has been broken for over 1 year,sauna broken for 6 months (why advertise having one?),machines out of order for many months that either disappear to never return or don't get fixed,locker doors broken. Cleaning needs improvement. Ladies' locker room showers are always dirty, and male cleaner can't be bothered to announce they are coming in, privacy? Not here.. a couple of classes offered that are often cancelled. An upgrade that was promised for the beginning of the year and that never seems to come. A place with potential but not great management ?

Negative experience: As others have said already, I've noticed a significant decline in the quality of this gym. Equipment is constantly broken, not working/out of order, sometimes not replaced or takes a long time to be repaired. I see some staff working hard at varied intervals to put missing equipment back, but they can't be doing this 24/7.....and I understand gym members can make this an impossible battle when they don't do the right thing by returning their equipment to designated racks. Equipment is also quite dirty, as there are not enough wipes/sprays around, and they are more often than not empty. The peak times have gotten worse, making it hard to move around the gym, and causing longer waiting periods just to be able to use equipment (this is also due to the broken equipment). You get what you pay for I guess. Hopefully more positive changes to equipment standards and cleanliness can happen soon, or like others, I'll be moving gyms.

Negative experience: This gym is great if they actually bothered to maintain any equipment instead of just slapping a out of order sign on it. Just lazy, you make enough money coming in from members. Spend a bit of that on a technician to actually fix equipment.

Positive experience: Very affordable, loads of free weights and machines. Love the ladies gym. Cleaning could be improved, particularly in group fitness room. Floor for yoga is really dirty which makes it difficult to practice. Also have gotten gum on my sweat towel before off a machine.

Fantastic experience: Mental treatment, making friends

Negative experience: Sauna gone even if still advertised. Almost every locker has the locking mechanism broken so can't even secure your belongings. Tredmills with faulty touch screens. Feels like there is no air conditioning. Machines hogged by the same people for far too long.

Negative experience: Signed up to what seemed like a $6 weekly contract only for the price to go up by double less than 4 months later. Gym is messy and overcrowded.

Fantastic experience: Good place to go and has a huge range of equipment. Looked packed from the outside, but you don't wait that long for a machine just like any other gym at peak time. Well maintained and nice staff working.

Positive experience: Spacious gym with a good range of equipment. However, too many machines are out of order, making it hard to get a full workout, especially during peak hours. It has great potential if the equipment is better maintained.

Negative experience: So many broken machines, couldn't even get through my leg workout

Positive experience: Huge gym. Can get bit crowded during peak times. Sometimes it’s impossible to find a bench. But it’s cheap.

Negative experience: Really disappointed with the staff . So much mismanagement and unorganised things. Girls name Mia and Nour working on reception made my things more difficult and uncomfortable atmosphere. Not really helpful but pathetic.

Positive experience: I am definitely the oldest and fattest person in the gym,but that's why I'm there. Heaps of equipment and mirrors, so Heaps of Instagram people taking photos of themselves. One complaint is that women over 40 need to work on their upper arms and abdominals. Unfortunately most of the equipment that targets these area are located in the main gym area rather than in the women's gym. There definitely needs to be arm and ab machines in the women's gym. Also, the womens sauna has been dismantled. Membership is good value. Unfortunately there are no pilates groups at Braybrook.

Negative experience: Have come here for years but has recently taken a massive nose dive. - Equipment broken for months on end - Countless broken mirrors - Missing barbells at every rack - Every wipe dispenser is empty - Peak time has turned the gym into a useless merry go round of groups of mates abusing the same bench for 1 hour routinely with no goal Cheap memberships are cheap memberships and you can’t reasonably control the traffic but the standard of the gym has considerably worsened as a result. Would think twice before entertaining another membership which is sad to say.

Fantastic experience: A part from idiots slamming their weights down, no need for it. Nice gym. Not too overly busy

Positive experience: This has the potential to be the best gym this side of Melbourne, unfortunately there has been a drop in maintenance for the equipment and gym as a whole. Nearly 1/4 of all dumbbells are missing their weight labels, a few broken mirrors, rarely any paper towels and general mess (this last may be due to the customers). Overall, it’s a great place to train, just needs some small tweaks to become excellent

Negative experience: What's going on? Machines being broken for months now, missing pins on cable, heavy bag still on the floor, hell even the "temporarily" out of order drinking fountain has been "temporarily" out for a year now. Caroline Springs Derrimut is better

Negative experience: Used to come here for years Nick Solamos has really dragged this place down, especially in the last year Fake advertisements with cheap yearly memberships have attracted huge crowds that make it very difficult to find any machines or benches to work with around 5pm Sometimes it's impossible to even find parking Dumbbells all over the place, Same house disco music that blasted in 2015 still blasting this day Sauna hasn't been working for a good 6months People taking half nude photos in between the sets In their defence They do have a good variety of equipment and it is a big gym My advice, if you're not on a budget, find a local friendlier corner gym, you'll be much more happier

Fantastic experience: GREAT BUT PLEASE FIX THE LOCKERS!!!

Positive experience: Big gym, tonnes of equipment, fantastic price. Some problems though are that it is extremely busy at peak times. There are only 3 bench presses (also they don't have spotter arms), so it's hard to get one even at off peak times. Replacing a few of the less popular machines with more bench presses would be great. The airflow is terrible, there's a few fans, but most of the gym isn't covered. Yes there's AC, but airflow is just as, if not more important than temperature.

Fantastic experience: The pace is very well equipped, but the staff is not friendly at all.

Negative experience: I joined this gym because all the amenities offered but the classes are a huge lie there is just a couple a the teachers does not even show up without notice, Sauna it been out or order for like the past 4 months machines broken

Positive experience: When I started the gym was great. The quality of machines, variety and spacious of the building definitely attracted me. Also, the price was very cheap. The staff is friendly and it is open 24/7. The cleaning team works constantly too. However, lately, I’ve noticed that many equipments are out of order or broken without an “out of order” sign. One example is the ergonomic bicycles. Two out of three are broken, one has a sign the other is not working properly and it’s been like this for quite sometime. In my opinion, although this a great and affordable place to train, it is lacking maintenance. Overall, I still think this is a great place to maintain your regular exercises, just need a little more attention from the management to keep the quality elevated. Sorry if I sound a little picky, but this is my constructive feedback. I hope it helps.

Positive experience: Can get a bit crowded especially in the ladies' gym, and the sauna is often out of order. Could use more lockers too, since they fill up fast! Overall, great facilities though!

Negative experience: Any chance of fixing all the broken equipment or at least putting some out of order signs on them? So many broken cables, missing pins, etc Also just any basic hygiene or etiquette? No one uses towels, no one wipes anything down, there's plates and dumbbells everywhere..no one puts their equipment back. Wayyyy too overcrowded at night also. Good luck using anything if you train in the evening.

Fantastic experience: Braybrook gym has been my go to for about 7 years. Early morning peeps are a good crew. A special shout out to Danny who does weekday overnights -super friendly and helpful - he recently helped me solve a mystery lost jacket situation by checking CCTV and retrieving my jacket from underneath a stairmaster machine. Much appreciated mate !! :)

Fantastic experience: Only complaint is that they will NOT stop playing Drake constantly. Like every other song seems to be by Drake or Drake is a feature. Need to stop playing Drake as it was outed he is a PDF filer. Other than that one of the nicer gyms I’ve been a part of in the last decade. Plenty of equipment if you go in the morning, people are genuinely friendly and everyone is there to workout and be healthy.

Negative experience: Probably the biggest and doubtless the cheapest amongst the few conventional gyms within the inner western suburbs. That aside, too many cons that outweigh any pros. This place is dirty and can get quite hot, with fans together with drinking fountains insufficient. Bathrooms (male at least) reek and often lack soap. No WiFi (reception weak), no wall clocks, and pretty much no lockers. Overall neglected not only by its management but even its patrons (left-behind water bottles aplenty, finding a used bandaid on equipment not a rare occurrence). Visit at any time and you’ll understand. Can't wrap this up without noting music played in the mornings (playlist of 15 or so depressing ghetto songs) was rather fitting to the environment and experience.

Negative experience: No towel no workout they say, but no staff monitor that even though it's staffed 24/7. Equipment is super sweaty and kinda gross. 1 fan for over 40 pieces of cardio equipment and it just points to the ground without moving. It's hot, and stinks a little from the BO. WTAF. .. and what is with the music? It's always angry style wrap and R&B. Not what I call gym vibe so bring headphones cause unless that's your exercise relax vibe, there is no musical motivation. Get more fans and make people have towels!

Fantastic experience: Amazing gym. Say no more

Positive experience: 2024 and this place has no recycling bins, and regularly has garbage bins overflowing with easily recycled energy drink cans and disposable plastic chux cloths. Also, someone on the front desk is a big fan of quite repetitive modern rap, which is fine except the “talking” aspect of the songs passes right through headphone noise cancellation. Otherwise well equipped. I rarely have to wait for equipment.

Fantastic experience: By far the best derrimut, toilet was clean, equipment was great, but more than that, the culture was awesome, most people know about powerlifting and weightlifting here and most put away the weights after use, great gym. There is also an unofficial Olympic weightlifting community here as well so i fit right in

Positive experience: I go here cause it's CHEAP. But you need to schedule your sessions really early or late to avoid the crowds. Otherwise there will be not enough equipment free to do a decent workout.

Fantastic experience: Really great community, great variety of machines. Facility is usually very clean

Positive experience: Derrimut Gym 24/7 is a large and affordable gym with a wide range of equipment and facilities. The spaciousness of the gym is a plus, but due to its affordable membership, it can get quite crowded during peak hours, making it challenging to have a proper training session. However, this seems to be a trade-off for the attractive price point. The staff is generally friendly and the 24/7 access is convenient for members. If you prefer a quieter environment, it might be best to visit during off-peak hours.

Fantastic experience: Re-review The gym is solid with lots of cardio/weight lifting options and it's hygienic. The music volume in the gym is now at a perfect level. Allows for conversation and focus. Good job team Derrimut!

Negative experience: One fan for 30+ treadmills? Are you kidding? It’s impossible to run for more than 25 minutes. Even if you use treadmill that is directly under that fan! Usually, one bottle of water is enough for me when I run 15 km outdoors. Yet, here, one bottle of water disappeared within 20 minutes! That’s too hot to do any cardio training!

Fantastic experience: It’s not a luxury gym, but an upfront membership worked out at something like $5 a week. At that price, it’s unfair to complain. Music is loud (look for the speakers and choose a machine away from them). Cleaning standards are not the best (it’s the only gym where I wipe down machines before using them). Quite a few pieces of broken equipment (but a non-issue as there is so much to choose from). A lot of weird behaviour and bad gym etiquette by members. But keep to yourself and find a quiet spot and you’ll be fine. Particularly good for women as there is a private ladies only section that is quiet and not as busy.

Negative experience: Derrimut back at it again doing all they can to get my 1 star review. Just received an email informing me that my membership price is going to be nearly doubled with almost no notice. If you're trying to lose members you're going about it the right way. Can double membership fees but can't fix equipment that I reported as damaged months ago

Fantastic experience: Fantastic gym for men and women. Have multiple of every machine you can think of and more. Separate womens area is also large and safe. Group fitness classes are included in membership and are of professional quality. If you live near and are looking for a gym look no further

Fantastic experience: Came did a casual and enjoyed my session very much, the gym has good number of machines for your workout and a good number of cardio machines. Toilets and showers are clean and spacious. Also the size of the gym is huge.

Fantastic experience: Haven't actually had a session yet but have had a walk through. Mega facility with every machine you can think of. Heaps of machines so hopefully no waiting to use any. Closed off women's section also

Positive experience: This derrimut is a lot better then another 1 I’ve used, standouts are there toilets are actually well maintained an kept in a clean shape. The gym itself has a wide variety of equipment for training which makes it very good. Only real small thing I have is that it could be a bit bigger as at times it does feel very cramped but otherwise, I’d recommend!

Negative experience: Very bad Saunaa you guys have to change it not hot at all very disappointing

Positive experience: The amount of times the classes are cancelled is ridiculous. In the past I complained to someone behind the counter who appearantly does not deal with complaints. Poor attitudeby that staff member. Classes need to be sorted, better classes with people who show up. Have a backup for cancellations. Improve customer service to deal with things. Gym has cheap membership but peak time means the gym is full. Poor gym for classes the rest is ok.

Negative experience: wouldn’t let a customer in even with a paid off membership? tried to change my age to my correct age but wouldn’t allow without id since my fob doesn’t allow me in, had a parent with me as i am a minor aswell, staff need to be trained better i do not carry id as i am a MINOR!!!!

Negative experience: Disappointing, raised to the front desk that one of their machines is broken. 3 weeks later still not fixed or out of order sign.

Fantastic experience: Exceptionally large () gym, with plenty of equipment, constantly being cleaned. The people here are good, the staff are good, the equipment is OK, But gets repaired quickly if busted.

Fantastic experience: this is the best gym I have been to in Melbourne. Huge warehouse gym with lots of machine and free weight. staffs are friendly. However, the hygiene of male tiolet can be improved, there are big smells in the tiolet. And hopefully, trap bar can be seen at the gym in the future

Naturally that brings a million people at the 4pm-6pm time slot but pick the right time and you can take advantage of all the incredible machines available. Constantly being updated too. Super friendly staff at the front massive range of supplements. Boxing bags + ring too are a bonus. Ok toilet facilities but they gave saunas which is a good touch! Love coming here.

Negative experience: Too busy. I arrive before 6.30am and often struggle to get a bench.

Positive experience: Friendly helpful staff, equipment typically in good working order with lots of variety. Not a lot of general bag storage and the sauna has been out of action for solid periods of time.

Negative experience: Good gym, not much space for stretching/athletic area but overall a good size and good equipment . The main issue is no soap in the male bathrooms at all and on 2 separate occasions. Or the soap is as the photos below so not hygienic at all. So if you like washing your hands after your gym sesh or after using the bathroom, bad luck!

Fantastic experience: Awesome gym, loads of equipment, can still be pretty busy depending on the time of day you go, but it’s 24/7. They play hilarious music that can really get you pumped up, and the staff are always friendly.

Fantastic experience: I love that this gym has staff even at 12 am. It makes it so safe and I dont stress about time at all now. Plus, the variety of machines is really good. Loved it.

Positive experience: After a month of joining I've made a great choice. Can be very busy late afternoon but is understandable. Staff are attentive, and place has a great vibe. Only negative is some cable equipment has taken a bit longer to repair than I'd expect and wipe down towels can sometimes be empty. One of the better gyms I've been a part of though.

Fantastic experience: First time to visit Derrimut gym in Victoria, Big Wow. The space is super big. You can always find the equipment you want to use. Never have to wait for a power rack or cable station. There's many unconventional training machines.

Fantastic experience: The reason why I am leaving 5 star review is for the gorgeous girl Tracy at Braybrook . I have never been asked how my workout was walking out .. and the staff at the front are polite they smile and really make an effort to make you feel welcome .

Dan on night shift always greets and has a conversation with everyone as soon as they walk in and no matter what time of the night it is, he always has a smile on his face and is always available if any assistance is needed !

Fantastic experience: I’ve been visiting Derrimut Braybrook for the almost a year now, but recently, a staff member named Longo joined. Longo has shown me the best customer service I can ask for. He is very friendly and greets me every time I visit. He is a genuine person and while I was working out, he even guided me on how to use a machine I wasn’t confident in using. You don’t come across employees like this often! I’ll definitely be returning back to Derrimut Braybrook!
