I have had ongoing back pain for the last 4years and have trained with several PT's at Fitness Cartel Beenleigh and still experienced pain. However, since I started training with Tim, I have absolutely no pain at all! He has a genuine interest in his clients' goals and is very knowledgeable!

Negative experience: I have been a foundation member since opening at this location, and I pay for two memberships for myself and my son....Love the gym and enjoy the facilities, right up until the point at which they raised one of my memberships for my (under 18) son with the only notification of change being the email that was only sent to my (under 18 yo) email. In all honesty it took me a while to realize, but now trying to speak to anyone who has any ability to help me proves to be exceptionally problematic. Please contact me Fitness Cartel, as my emails and calls are not being returned.... knowing that there are now 6 new gyms in the area to choose from that are also cheaper in some cases, will make my next choice an easy enough one.

Negative experience: One star is generous. Overpriced club that's way to busy at any time of day, more importantly doesn't value foundation members, instead makes them feel like they're just another number because they think they have the monopoly of the market. Had a set price for a contract same as any other gym and they decided there going to increase it 40% overnight with no real explanation why. Who's to say they don't do the same every 6 months. Fitness cartel is a deadset joke and you'll never see me back there and I'll continue to spread the word to people to join other gyms instead of this BS.

Negative experience: Nice gym inside. Moved away gave them 6 weeks notice that I’d like to end my contract at the end of my contract date and they advised me that I couldn’t give them notice until my contract had ended thus I would need to pay an extra month ontop of the 6 month contract. Staff on desk lazy and hard to engage with.

Negative experience: Impossible to exit a membership. Make sure you are committed to your 12 months before signing up because you are locked in with no way of exiting. Very difficult to deal with.

Negative experience: They will send ur acccount to debt collection. Owner will find all sort of excuses to justify my review but clearly not apologising for the debt collection they send to Amra group.

Negative experience: Stay away from this gym. They will send your account to Amra group for debt collection when u ask them to cancel I served 30 days notice and still they wanted me to be there for another 1 month So rude staff. Stay away

Fantastic experience: Went in to Fitness Cartel yesterday for a BMI scan and to check the gym out briefly. I ended up leaving with a Gold Membership and free shake . The members consultant Brayden was awesome, we had a walk through of the gym which is really well fitted with excellent equipment. Much better than Goodlife Beenleigh and I felt that the staff at Fitness Cartel were genuinely happy to be working there, professional and friendly. It has a good vibe and very affordable rates. Shout out to Brayden for signing me up which was about a 5 min easy process.

Negative experience: I joined membership here with Jayden. He offered me that split joining fee, 2weeks suspension(Reason why was I had plan to go to trip for 2weeks right after join) and 4 weeks free membership. So first membership should charged after 6weeks and he agreed. After they took bank detail, one day later they charge me whole joining fee and first membership fee. I sent email to gym and Jayden call me and give apologies. I said its already took off from my account so I asked next payment schedule so make sure next payment should be correct. He said yes but I didnt get any follow up. Now I came back from my trip they took second week membership fee already so there are no suspension going on obviously and no free 1month membership as well. Now he totally changed what he saying. He apologies about joining fee not splitted but he said I should pay for first week gym membership and second one for suspension. Thats how gym membership working (he mentioned). It doesnt make sense at all. Worst gym joining experience I ever had. I cant imagine how hard to cancel my membership later. So please everyone be cautious to join this gym :) Also get a email about offering stuff and detail otherwise they will change their mind and what they said. Yesterday I talk with Heidi she tried to resolve the problem she offered me 6 weeks free gym membership but I supposed to get 4 weeks free and I already paid 2 weeks for nothing so it doesn't make sense for me. Anyways she was nice at least, but Jayden just avoided his fault and kept saying lie. Thanks for club manager to resolve the issue. Everything is good now hopefully no more payment issue for next one.

Negative experience: I never seen any happy staff in this gym. No smile No friendly but snobby, always on their phone looking up ignoring clients haha...plain face no happy staff. I guarantee this way of managing their staff won't sustain this business for that long. Happy staff makes happy customer. Grumpy snobby staff makes unhappy customers. This business may have a newer equipment but people stick with human interactions not equipments.
