Positive experience: Great place to swim at in a hot summer day.

Negative experience: Not a great place to go if you want your kids to just have a play and swim. 20 little kids corralled into one lane due to all the other lanes being used for lessons. Just ridiculous, it seems to be a cash cow of a facility. Better off going to Armsdale centre, more family friendly

Fantastic experience: Gym is nice and big and its unique design. So many members using the gym including the SPA and pool.

Positive experience: Not bad if someone gets their early morning or late evening otherwise it gets too crowded specially with limited lanes.

Negative experience: Very disappointed by the way they treat people. I confirmed with them for my son's swim class and when i went there and found out he is not booked in for the class. They have no communication between the outside desk and inside desk. And they have no answers.

Negative experience: Big slides not working. Didn’t see signage or explanation at reception to warn us. Children very disappointed. It is on their website though that they have been closed for over a year! Inflatable area also not allowed to be used. Children did enjoy the water bucket and mini slide but this was switched off an hour before closing time. Do not like the design of the whole area. Walking from one pool to another. Very awkward getting into the shallow pool as there is a large step. Saw an aged gentleman loose his footing trying to get into the pool. There is one set of steps to enter the pool but around the other side, only noticed it once I was in the pool. There seems to be renovations being carried out in the centre, hopefully all the pool facilities will be working. Unfortunately we have already decided not to visit again.

Negative experience: While the gym itself is excellent, my recent experience with security staff has left me feeling unsafe and unsupported by the facility management. During an after-hours visit, I had an unsettling encounter with a large, scruffy, ginger security guard who displayed an authoritarian attitude, swore at me, and physically blocked my path when entering the gym. When I followed up with management, I was disappointed to find them unhelpful and unsympathetic to my concerns. Furthermore, the facility's CCTV system lacks audio and is limited in its coverage, making it less than reassuring in the event of a serious incident especially as a female visiting after hours. Despite the quality of the gym itself, the lack of support from management and the feeling of being undervalued as a member have made me reconsider my future here. I will continue to use the gym for now due to convenience, but I will be exploring if no longer convenient.

Negative experience: If I could rate this place a zero, I would. A lady named Celine was really rude and ruined my whole day. Customer service was awful and appalling. I've been coming to cockburn arc since it opened and have never experienced such blatant disrespect. On top of that, there was no lanes to swim in, the whole place is constantly under construction making it a complete waste of time and money. Overall, really disappointed to see these are the types of people that get hired.

Positive experience: Arrived at 3pm. 1st visit. Was disappointed in area as nowhere for children to enjoy fun times due to both pools taken up with swim lessons. Water slides ok for smaller children.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic place! 50m heated outdoor swimming pool, 25m heated indoor swimming, a great spa area with another pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room, great gym, basketball courts, etc. Huge facilities and they are currently expanding it to make even bigger!

Negative experience: There was Docker players there and because they don't play very good football it made me feel sad for them and then I felt helpless because II couldn't help them but as the weeks went by I gradually was able to shake that spell of chronic depression by understanding no one can help the Dockers be a winning team except Gerad Neeshom

Positive experience: I go to try the swimming pool. Don't go here in Saturday morning, cause to much spot reserved for swim class and so crowded.. you must pay more for slide, so I am not try it. They have so much toilet and clean.

Negative experience: very bad place and rude staffs. class is start at 17:30 we arrived at 17:25 and wait for the long long queue to the class at 17:35 （the class only 30mins） and staffs asked must in queue. waste money

Fantastic experience: Excellent sporting facilities, gym basketball, swimming, sauna and volleyball.

Negative experience: Was super pumped to attend my first class at Cockburn Arc. On my way to the class, there was a stalled vehicle and heavy rain that slowed down the traffic on the freeway. I also hadn’t been to Cockburn Arc before so I was having a little trouble navigating my way to it. On top of that, I was unaware of the parking situation so all of these factors made me 5 minutes late. When I arrived for my first class I was told I would not be able to enter the class after 10:30. I spoke to the supervisor and she told me there was a lock out policy and that I was unable to get a refund or credit to do another class and that I would have received an email about this policy. However, I was unaware of any email and I explained to her that I had not received an email about this. When I got back to my car I discovered it in my junk folder. Personally, I think this is quite unfair as how was I supposed to know that they would be sending an email about a lockout policy and then have it sent to my junk mail? Obviously you cannot control whether your emails are sent to your junk mail or inbox, but I think there needs to be an SMS message and a clear message at checkout that you will be receiving an email with vital information. I think they’re should be leeway for first-timers as I was completely unaware of this. So, despite leaving extra early in an attempt to get to my class 10 minutes early, multiple factors ended up making me 5 minutes late. Which is truly nothing at all and I think it’s quite ridiculous that I cannot get a refund/credit because of that. I want to try attend a class again, but I am extremely disappointed in the outcome of this situation, I think the company should review their policies around this. On a positive note the girl I spoke with at the kiosk was very kind and helpful, so thanks to her!

Negative experience: They don't staff the outdoor swimming pool after 7:30. Even though they're quite happy to take full memberships from many members and have 50 million swimming classes in nearly every Lane of the pools. So only give the entire rest of paying members two lanes of one pool to swim in. How a public pool has such little available access in the evenings blows my mind. make sure you don't work and can go at 11am.on a Wednesday and you might be given a lane to swim in. Oh no then every school class is there.

Positive experience: My go-to place for swimming and gym! The swimming pool is well-managed, but most of the lanes are often booked for lessons during peak hours, which can be a bit frustrating. The gym is clean and tidy, with relatively new equipment, and they provide wet wipes, which is a nice touch. The only downside is the gym's size, but they're undergoing upgrades, so I'm sure it will improve soon. Overall, a great facility!

Fantastic experience: Took swimming lessons from here for 5+ years, instructors/teachers are really kind and lots of the time they push you to your limits especially if you’re in pre-squad. Facilities are good and well maintained. Waterslides are also amazing.

Negative experience: Reception staff are extremely rude. I come everyday, pay membership for my children and myself. Waiting in line at front and got spoken too, so rudely and she wondered why i spoke back sharply? Extremely unprofessional and getting stamped everyday for entry is so frustrating, they need to think of another way.

Fantastic experience: Outdoor pool is great for swimming laps, anywhere between 4pm and 6pm is hectic with squads taking half the pool.

Positive experience: Place is really fun, slides are literally never open though, making it a bunch of pools and a kiddie area

Negative experience: Sad to be writing this but it has to be said. I’ve tried talking with someone but it falls on deaf ears, and no one seems to answer the phone. First of all, I joined the gym as I’ve just had another baby and going to the gym is away for me to get out of the house not just for physical health but my mental health, so when the crèche says it operates with a choice of two hours or three I can’t understand why staff make you feel bad when sometimes you put three hours in and question you in front of everyone where your going and what your doing, very rude!! I come to the gym to work out and then go to the pool and maybe sometimes if I get a chance I will have a coffee before hand but to be honest the food in the cafe isn’t all that great anyway. I wouldn’t be going to the ARC to just sit as one of the ladies in the crèche implied when I took my son in this morning. The whole time I was at the gym I felt like I was being watched, I picked my son up half an hour early to notice that he didn’t even have his nappy changed! This unfortunately isn’t the first time I have had an incident with a rude staff member at the ARC I really hope someone sees this and reach's out as I am a paying member of this community centre. Very disappointed

Fantastic experience: It is a place suitable for the whole family. There is a shallow swimming pool for children, a large slide, which children like very much, and a sauna, steam room for me. There is also a comfortable swimming pool and excellent service fees.

Fantastic experience: I find hydro therapy very important for my body and mind. The ARC is the best hydro pool very large and I recommend it.

Fantastic experience: Used the Hydrotherapy pool. My favourite part was that the hand rails are hidden under the edge of the pool, meaning that if you want to use them discreetly you can. Amazing pool with a ramp, set of stairs, or a hoist to access. Warm water, heaps of space, so you don't feel like you're on top of each other.

Negative experience: The parking is way too far from the complex and specially from the heated pool that elderly and people with arthritis need most. I had a terrible experience to get to the pool then back to my car again. Even the disabled parking spots are too far from the complex, and there are very few of them anyway! Yes, it is a perfect place for the young and healthy. But not for me at all. The council rate we pay helped for it to be built but our needs was disregarded. The old pool in South Lake was much better and they destroyed that perfect facility. For me it was a horrible and painful experience to walk from the parking to the warm pool and back to my car. It is a shame. I hated it. And my knee arthritis was worse for couple of weeks. No. Not good and not fair! Thanks for asking my opinion.

Negative experience: Ridiculous, i pre signed up the membership online . The front reception told me I need to wait to be called up next day for the appointment regarding the payment when I arrive the centre . They can not process it in person and have to pass to the membership team . The membership officer on Saturday has no time for a payment update ( 2 mins job), I guess she or he is more busy than PM . Good job Cockburn Arc.

Fantastic experience: Love this pool. So many options for younger children and older children. The slides are often not running, which can be a disappointment but there's plenty more to do. And the facility has continued to update itself whenever issue arise. Such as the lockers not working properly, have now been updated with reliable lockers. Would recommend for a good day out.

Positive experience: Large parking spot. Play centre is nice and clean. Birthday food like chips and nuggets is by far the best, eventho 1 mom said it's a bit overcooked. I always like the child pool with the water playground. Got cafe with pretty nice foods as well

Positive experience: Social volleyball here is great fun. Good atmosphere and excellent referees.

Positive experience: Not impressed unfortunately. Went there for the slides. Slide are out of order until further notice. Water feature in the kids pool was off most of our visit as they only manually turn it on and let it run for 30 minutes. All a bit old and run down. And quite pricey for what you get. Would not likely visit again.

Positive experience: Gym is always packed but they are doing upgrades which I'm keen for. The staff are lovely and want to help where they can. Recommend a membership for here if not for the gym then the pool spa and sauna

Fantastic experience: It's really good. We have memberships and got great discounts for defence concession. Been going now for about 4 months. Feel healthy and strong. I've hardly ever needed to wait to get a bench in the weights room. The only negative we have to say is the life guards don't say anything when other families let their kids jump and splash us when we are holding our baby in the rec swim area. It's the typical situation where the parents there just dump their kids during the holidays so it can be chaotic. But even during quiet times, there is always some little so and so that just has to play rough near us, even when there is a whole lane to play in. Other than that, I always look forward to going.

Fantastic experience: Kids love basketball training here.The trainers are on time and amazing with the kids

Fantastic experience: Fantastic facility for the people of Cockburn and the surrounding suburbs. There really is something for everyone here. Lots of pool space big indoor courts for futsal, netball, basketball, badminton etc. Loads of free parking right next door.

Negative experience: First time visiting. Looked good on arrival. Was told the water slides not working which was the only reason I had come the 30min drive. Kids were very disappointed.

Negative experience: Lifeguard Rati can be more polite with customers. Bad experience with one of the lifeguard, name Rati, his must be more polite with the customer. My little 3 years daughter was enjoy in the kids pool just in front of the door that one separate the two pool inside and outside, she felt in cold because of the wind that come from the door, when i asked Rati if is possible to close a bit more the door (i didn’t ask him to shut the door but just close a little bit more ) him told me that the door must be open to recirculate the air ( this make sense and I agree, but also if the door is half open the air can recalculate without problem ) him told me that if I’m not happy i can move from the door while my litter daughter was enjoy in that part of the pool. Lucky I spoke with the manager/ supervisor and him understood the situation and make the customer happy. Hope the manager or the supervisor can teach this guy how to be nice and polite with the customers and kids.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic! Very equipped gym with a lot of trainers to help if you need it. Over 150 classes a week. Helpful and polite staff.

Negative experience: Parking is so terrible it made me late to a class by a couple of minutes, was then refused entry and not offered a refund or credit. Rude staff & management. Gym is tiny Joining Roar gym instead

Positive experience: We went here for the pools. I would rate 5 stars as it is always good but the main reason we've gone here both times was for the epic slides and both times they were closed. First time a few months ago was for planned maintenance, then a couple of weeks ago it was closed again. Will for sure rate 5 stars if we ever get to use the slides. We love the sauna and steam room though!

Fantastic experience: Relatively new hence quality of equipment and facility is general is very good. Everything works, gym equipment including running machine TVs all work well. Several swimming pools. Very good swimming coaches who run classes for children. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Cheaper membership than other clubs as well.

Negative experience: The worst rec centre in Perth. 2 pregnant girls arrived 2 minutes late due to a huge parking issue at the centre and were told we weren't allowed into a class and we werent allowed to refund nor have a credit. So Cockburn ARC made $40 out of us for nothing? Waste of time. People at the front desk have no idea what they are talking about as one girl said we could have a credit/refund and then the manager said no. Roar in bibra lake offer the same classes and are a lot more friendly. Highly recommend Roar instead.

Positive experience: I'm very happy joining here, so many different options for classes, big studios and plus pool.

Fantastic experience: First time there,was a Nice Swimming Venue, except when they saw Faeces in one of the main Indoor Pools n took over half hour to Clean,then every one got back in.

Negative experience: Wouldn’t recommend can’t believe they got rid of south lake pools for this place. Rude & Unhelpful staff, expensive and lacking areas to swim as swimming lessons constantly take up all the room, it is essentially a sauna inside the pools. Lifeguards force you to get into ankle depth water with your children even when you are standing on the poolside watching them. Have been doing swimming lessons for my child on and off for 6 years here will not be coming back teachers are constantly changing you have to insist on having them evaluated. Won’t be coming back would rather drive 20 mins to a different suburbs pools.

Fantastic experience: This place has plenty of parking, staff are pleasant and helpful. The gym is good with good equipment, indoor and outdoor pools are really well looked after. Very clean . Good work ARC you've done well .

Negative experience: While the indoor facilities were fit for purpose and worthy of five stars, the outdoor slides have been non-functional for months and no communication has come from the facility to notify incoming visitors about this issue.

Positive experience: Quite a bit more expensive than I thought, coming from Sydney and a similar setup (government owned) ARC is a lot more expensive (and crowded) so needs more facilities like more saunas and steam rooms as there wasn't even any room.

Negative experience: Really good facilities and well kept and maintained. Spoilt unfortunately by overreaching power tripping lifeguard who wouldn't let my kid on the inflatable due to him wearing non standard goggles. Not anywhere listed in their rules that his goggles is unacceptable but she said it can be classified as a sharp object. (You're kidding me right??). She also told off some kids who were playing ball in the recreational pool!!!.. Good on you fun police. Won't be back.

Fantastic experience: This place is sick! Heaps of carparks. Easy to access. Pools are coolAF. Flash clean tidy building. Great customer service. Gym is like superflash has all bases covered there. Lots of rec courts to hire and play pick up games with randoms

Fantastic experience: Terrific place Cockburn ARC for the young and old or seniors Went for a swim in the pool and after that had a shower and went to see the Fremantle Dockers train. We Purchased a coffee and went to the oval with some mates and watched the Dockers train, It was as a good morning lots of chat great conversation identifying the new players and some of the suggestions we came up with were brilliant we thought It was fun in all seriousness everyone had there say and the bi play was a classic If only the coaching staff would listen to our pearls of wisdom we could take out a grand final. However the fun continued and then we headed to the Dockers shop to check out the new gear. Then a stroll around the complex looking at the basketball stadium and the fully equiped gym then another coffee and we headed home all talking about how lucky the locals are having such a great facility in their backyards Go and have a wander around you will be impressed and probably book in for a swim or a new gym membership Certainly recommend this place folks Trev

Fantastic experience: Superb, massive, recreation centre, with multiple pools and slides worthy of a water park. My kids and I really enjoyed our time here. I particularly liked the outdoor pool which was just the right temperature. I recommend going early as, despite closing at 6pm, the slides close at 4pm, and the queues close earlier still. So if you want to go on the slides multiple times, don't leave your visit too late in the afternoon.

Positive experience: Pools are great, gyms are great only thing are the sauna and steam rooms hygiene, cleanliness goes out the window at this place and honestly I've been going here too long not to point this out cuz it's gotten to the point that you guys are clearly doing nothin to get it clean. The walls in the steam room have yellow marks from peoples sweat build up over the years, YES years it's clearly never had a wipe down with sanitizer or anything and for the type of coin we're paying I'd be expecting better. The sauna seats are degrading from peoples sweat, ok that might not be too big of an issue but how about at least a wipe down of the seats that clearly have marks from sweat build up. I got sick one time from the steam room and got a back infection from the sweat on the walls. Fix this issue or I'll upload pictures of it on here!

Negative experience: They’re deleting bad reviews. They spray Roundup/Glyphosate out the front entrance where kids and pregnant women walk and they don’t care as I’ve tried contacting them numerous times. And now they’re deleting reviews I’m curious as to what you are trying to hide Cockburn ARC? You have a responsibility to look after the health and safety of those who attend your facility. I have emailed twice, tried speaking to the centre in person, and I’ve called. They responded to my second comment saying I can call/email to discuss further so waiting for them to actually do something rather than deleting my comments. I’m beyond tired of businesses not taking ownership, responsibility, and accountability to sweep things under the rug and turn a blind eye.

Fantastic experience: I would like to award Cockburn ARC For creating a wonderful swimming experience, I myself love this swimming pool, and I bet you and your family or friends would love it too, it is so spacious, and although it can get busy, when it’s not busy, it is incredible place to swim. Fantastic experience: Amazing place for hot weathers, super kid friendly! Have a 2-3 hs crèche for just $5 and water park for $2.70! Olympic 50 mts outdoor pool and a wellness centre for also a very reasonable price. Can’t recommend it more. The staff is super welcoming and helpful aswell.

Fantastic experience: Love this gym and community ♥️ So much classes to choose from! This gym has it all, yoga, pilates, cycling, lots of gym equipment, steam, sauna, pools, jacuzzi, PWD and kid-friendly, and a lot lot more. Reception staff are great as well. Everardo was so good welcoming us. Teachers are all nice. Love Anna from Body Balance and the male yoga teacher every Friday night. I see him every week but never got the name Cleaners do a good job too! I get to see them when I workout at night. This gym is my second home in Perth

Fantastic experience: Had kids birthday party at Bandicoots play center. My daughter has food allergies and the staff were amazing. Wiped and mopped extremely well before we even arrived. No eating allowed in the play area, which is great. The center was clean and we had a wonderful party. Thank you

Fantastic experience: It's a big sports centre with swimming pools (indoors and outdoors) for both kids and adults, sports activities for kids, gym and classes for adults. Kids have lots of fun with the slides in the pool. You can access swimming pool casually or get a regular class. Located walking distance from train station. Place gets super busy during school holidays.

Fantastic experience: A very good multifunctional centre. Water slides are great and nice pools. Basketball courts are cool also. Has a café too which is nice. It’s placed quite nicely since it’s near Cockburn Central

Negative experience: Terrible service!!! I ring up to ask if we can hire a basketball court for an hour guess what they say no but just come down we have plenty open courts available so I go down and it is jam packed in there so I sat down for an hour waiting for a basketball court to open finally got one then played for 20 minutes and then had to go and that is the second time this has happened. Warning do not come here.

Negative experience: Visited from Mandurah, slides were not operating but suppose we should have checked first. Cafe not very good long wait times and not good variety hot food. More health foods. Not much space as swimming lessons took up 60% pool space. Kids pool very busy and crowded. Swimming pool inside was like sardines in a tin

Fantastic experience: It's a really cool place. The basketball courts are perfect for any type of use (casual/recreational) and the water park is huge and quite entertaining. Wonderful place to come to, if you're alone or with people.

Positive experience: Looks like there are some good activities to do including basketball, gym and pools. Went to the pool side, great splash park for older kids. Not many swimming options for toddlers and young kids. If you have noise sensitive kids I do not recommend the indoor pool for them as it is very loud with the splash park on. If you have waterproof ear muffs highly recommend taking. Staff were friendly and helpful at reception.

Positive experience: Nice place for the kids to join teams or spend a few hours. The café surprisingly made a decent coffee. All round well organised good arena

Fantastic experience: Have attended the 7:15am Aqua class. Heather is the teacher and is both energetic and encouraging of our efforts!! Good sound system too, you can hear her instructions which is so helpful!!

Positive experience: The gym is great but the some machine are weak some not. seated leg cruel it’s hard get two legs in and get legs out and rowing machines is weak can’t fill anything my shoulders and core not working. Cross trainers are weak to.

Positive experience: Overall ARC has excellent facilities, including gym, pools, cafe, and basketball courts. The staff are lovely and happy to help. The only downside is some areas need maintenance- the sauna room benches can give you splinters, so it’s highly suggested not to touch them and to wash your towel once you go home.

Fantastic experience: This is the perfect place for swimmers who would like to learn or keep diving in deep water world. I specifically mentioned tutor name Mr.Luke who teach very well in the lessons wather swimmer didn't understand English or speak the same language. I never thought that my daughter can learn within 3 lessons. Thank you Mr. Luke for being a supportive teacher.

Fantastic experience: Awesome facility, such a huge place! Pool, spa and sauna areas are massive and clean. Gym is a good size and wasn't too busy when I visited. They also have classes, but I haven't tried then yet. The membership options are fantastic and priced well.

Fantastic experience: Coming to Cockburn Arc is an amazing place to work out and go to the pools to relax. Every time I come to Cockburn Arc something new happens. The team welcomes you each time when you walk in and are there to support you.

Negative experience: Very bad, unsafe, racist management, especially the shift manager tall bulky lad. He is such a racist person & disrespectful! If you want to break your leg please go there & play. One of the worst centres in Perth.

Positive experience: Need more family showers and changing rooms. 2 family shower room is not enough for increasing number of families visit in the facility. Families with babies very inconvenient to use in the male or female shower rooms.

Fantastic experience: Lots of facilities available including lap pools and basketball courts. Also heaps of in pool kid play areas to keep them entertained. My son loves it here. Staff are courteous and helpful.

Fantastic experience: My body appraisal and gym tour today was amazing. the employee who did my whole tour around the gym and teaching me to used the machine was so helpful he makes my 1st gym tour easy.

Negative experience: The situation at Cockburn arc needs to change drastically! For the very first time in my life I have witnessed a void game of basketball on a grand final and I have been playing on and off for 24 years. I've seen players get banned for a season for being unruly, I've even seen enough players from one team get kicked out that their team was banned for a season. I can assure you in those cases, a banning/disciplinary action was a necessity - tonight's case did not fall into that category... There was a small dispute between players and it did include small bit of pushing, but the players diffused shortly after the ref intervened. To then follow that up with a void game on a grand final is just ludacris! Also, I don't think te fact that the game void, was made known to either team's until the winning team inquired about trophies... It's really just average form and honestly, there's other referee's working there that probably just shouldn't... One in particular comes to mind and he is hands down one of the worst ref's I have encountered. My advice to ballers out there seeking a good game, here's the go. The reffing is 30/70. 30%great 70% devastating. The facilities are great, but given the human component only having a 30% success rate, it really just makes the nice court's just seem redundant. My team is moving back to an inferior stadium, but we know the reffs are better and they have refs that actually have experience and won't withhold awards at the end of seasons (a luxury the players actually pay for mind you) for some minor rubbish that wouldn't even warrant a personal ban for either involved in the dispute.

Negative experience: Lifeguards is forceful and rude to parents to hop in the water even the water is just till knee high and my kids is older already and they are just arms reach. And unfortunately I had a long day on my feet and a condition that I can't make my feet wet, but she is still very rude. She should consider that I'm very close to my kids and I'm keeping an eye with them. She have no compassion for the members who was been a member with them for years. Never coming back here again.

Negative experience: Came in for my son's 10th birthday and the slides were closed. I then ordered a meal for my son and paid for that and I said to the lady I'll be back in 5 minutes I'm just going to find my children outside and ask them what they would like for lunch I walked to the outside pool asked them and walk back inside, may have taken 5 minutes at the most and when I went to order she told me I'm sorry the Kitchens closed now. I just asked for 2 large chips and was told no sorry we are closed but we have vending machines near the basketball courts.
